It was December 31st just in time for the New Years! As Ada a black mare with a black mane and tail with red pupils who held a goth-like personality who stood next to Claudia a nice pale green white like cheerful pegasi with the parts of her wings were hot pink, the top of her mane was red and the bottom and tail with a light-ish brown color with light-dark grayish pupils where they stood at the Hearths Warming tree just the two of them in the cold night.

The cold breeze was in the air close to the mysterious mansion made out of wood with the snow on the ground with a long and short cold blizzard in the air just in time for the two of them to arrive while waiting for the two stallions to come to a mysterious curators New Year's Eve party in Equestria with the spirit of Hearths Warming inside it as well.

It was a beautiful night out for a perfect New Years Eve celebration for that one party that they will never forget. What could go wrong for them

"It's beautiful!" Said Claudia as she was looking towards the Hearths Warming tree in front of them

"Yeah." Ada replied and as Ada turned her head towards her best friend Claudia as she did the same too.

"It's getting cold." Stated Ada. "I should've put on a scarfy."

"Don't be harsh on yourself!" Said Claudia as they started looking back at the tree with Claudia while the cold wind silently blew past them between "Scarfy..." Claudia whispered out under her breath.

"I hope the celebration will be great today." Said Ada.

"I wouldn't mind eating a couple tangerines!" Stated Claudia as the cold air starts blowing through the tree and the bushes with a cold breeze in the air.

The two stallions came up to them which were supposed to be twins but different mane and tail color. The one being Gestas an unicorn pony who was a dark green turquoise like pony with dark blue mane who had a bushy tail with blue eyes and the other pony being Dismas who had the same coat as him but lighter he had a red mane but his tail was small, he had green eyes as the mares looked back at them greeting the two friends.

"Oh hey Gestas and Dismas." She said in a bored tone.

"Happy New Years Eve guys!" Claudia said in delight.

"Thanks! You too!" Dismas responded.

"Was your trip safe?" Gestas asked.

"We're fine. Just cold." Responded Ada quietly.

"You should've put a scarf on."

Ada sighed after what Gestas said and they started walking to the big brown old mansion which resembled as an very expensive mansion with the torches used as lights.

"Who lives here?" Ada asked.

"Oh it's just some pegasus." Dismas explained.

"A rich one, it seems." Said Gestas.

Claudia asked. "Are you going to clean out the house again?"

"You bet!" Gestas said in glee.

"After the celebration." Said Dismas

Ada sighed. "Thieves..."

The door opens with one pegasus pony coming out of the house. It was a blind pony who was all black like Ada but darker who had red on the side of his wings, he had a red mane and tail at first he seemed like a wiseguy inviting his guests for his New Years Eve Party.

"Welcome, my dear friends!" The blind pony said in excitement.

"Happy New Years Eve, everyone!" Said the blind pony.

He let out a small chuckle. "My name is Abel."

"I'm the curator of this amazing mansion. I'm so glad that you've came!" Said Abel in delight.

"Don't be shy, come in! I was just about to set the table!" Abel said on inviting his fellow guests.
