The inside of the house had plenty of space in each room. It was decorated with Hearth's Warming decorations too. It has plenty of rooms and air was warm inside the house.

"Why is there so much space in this house?" Gestas asked in a concerned way.

Abel responded. "I'm afraid that question is not for me. I'm not the one who built this house, my boy."

"Hmm no wonder this house is different than the rest back in Fillydelphia." Said Gestas

"Make yourself comfortable, friends." said Abel "I've prepared the presents for you all in the guest room my friends! Make yourself at home while I go set the table! If you need me just ask!"

As Abel walks into the kitchen and Claudia walks into the guest room to get her present, the two thieves Gestas and Dismas stayed by the entrance/exit.

"Move along Ada. We're going to discuss a "Couple" of things." Said Gestas as Ada walks towards the door in front of her to another door with a red lock.

"Hmm... Closed with a red lock huh? Looks like I'm gonna be needing a red key." Said Ada on the locked door.

Ada walked into the guest room and Claudia was still inside the room with her present still wrapped and unopened.

"It's cozy in here." Said Ada

"It really is!" Claudia responded. "I want such puffies in my house too!" Said Claudia.

"Guys are planning their "thing" again." Ada brought up.

"There live by stealing! What can we do?" Explained Claudia in a concerned way.

"That's wrong!" Ada claimed as she said that stealing is wrong and it should be never done in any way shape or fourm.

Don't work yourself over it! The curator will be finished setting up the table soon!" Said Claudia.

"Then we'll try some tangerines." Ada said.

Ada walked inside the hallway and the two stallions are still planning their thing while Abel was busy setting up the table and gets interrupted by Ada.

"Uhh hello Abel?"

"What can I do for you?" Abel asked politely.

"How can you see through these bandages?" Ada questioned.

"My dear, you're names Ada right?"

"Yes." Claimed Ada.

"It took me many years of practicing. Someday i'll teach you one day." Abel said. "Don't forget your present! There in the guest room!"

Right back in the guest room Ada saw the two stallions and she started to confront them on their plan. "What are you up two now? Interrogated Ada by questioning Gestas and Dismas.

"We are going to rob a curator." Replied Dismas. "When everyone is off to bed!" Gestas responded as well. "We will carry out all of the gold of this mansion." "And all of the furniture!" Gestas and Dismas explained Ada about the plan.

"And how are you going to carry that all out?" Ada said.

"At any cost!" Gestas claimed.

"You are idiots!" Said Ada about their plan.

As Ada approaches to her present, Claudia asked Gestas and Dismas on what they got. "So what did you guys get from your presents?"

"Aww sweet! I got a crowbar!" Dismas said in excitement.

"Hell yeah! An Xbox One S With Xbox Live!" Said Gestas.

"I got a beautiful crystal gold necklace made exclusively from the Crystal Empire." Said Claudia.

Ada shakes the box with her magic from her horn, she looks at the box shaped present Ada received from the curator.

"Hmm... I wonder what's inside it?" Ada questioned herself on looking at her present.

Claudia comes to see what was Ada's present that she just opened.

"Well?"

"What's your present?" Claudia asked.

"A scarf!" Ada stated after opening her present.

The scarf was red and black and it felt warm and soft on feeling it.

"Now you won't get so cold!" Commented Claudia.

She then moves the scarf out of the box seeing a little sealed casket which had pentagrams all over it which was never opened till this day. "There's something else." Ada said by carefully taking out of her present. She shakes the box but there was no sound.

"What is this?" Ada questioned about the little box with pentagram drawings on it.

She then hears a voice in her head that nobody knows.

"Open me......" Said the mysterious voice.

"Open me Ada.... Open me....." The mysterious voice said in a creepy whisper thinking how it knew her name.

Ada said to herself. "How does it know my name?" As she questioned herself about the mysterious voice she decided to open it which let out a bright red light which shined straight into her eye with a creepy sound coming out with the pentagrams on the box turning red.

"Wow!" Claudia said in a surprised manner.

"I hope no one will rise from hell because of this..." Ada said.

"Really spooky gift... From the curator of the house..." Said Claudia after seeing the box do it's thing.

The red shining light and the creepy ghostly noises went away and the pentagrams that turned red stayed that way but the box was still open.

Abel walks in the room telling everyone to start eating at the dining room.

"Everything is ready!" Abel declared.

"Allow me to invite all of you to the table." Abel offered as the 5 ponies walked to the dining room with the candles turned on with the lights off.

The dining table was full of food. It had tangerines, salad, pasta, spaghetti, chicken, and bread. And for the desert... Pie. The drinks were wine on a champagne glass along with bottles of wine on the ice bucket.

Little they didn't know that Ada forgot to close the box after opening it and when it hits midnight and the box is not closed by now, evil will triumph over the world until it gets banished back in the Pandemonium. The red light from the casket came back and the lights of the guest room started to flicker till they burned out leaving off the room dark.

"My dear friends! It was a terrific year! I am sure that during this year, each one of us went through something unforgettable!" Said Abel before he made his wishes of the New Year.

"Let us say "Goodbye" to this year and wish the next one to be just as amazing!" Abel hoped.

"And the salad to never end!" Hoped Dismas.

"And the robberies to get more successful!" Hoped Gestas.

"And the Winters not to be so cold." Ada Hoped since she hates cold weather being so cold.

"You just need to put a scarf on to not get cold." Said Gestas in a mad look.

"And everyone to be happy!" Claudia said being the last one for her wishes on the New Year.

The clock stopped ticking and the bells started ringing

"Happy New Year!" Abel said before disappearing without a trace.

As the bells kept ringing everyone was quiet then the bells were dying down, after the last chime of the bells, Abel led out a small chuckle and then he blew out the candles leaving off to the beginning of...

The New Year Nightmare.
