Dreams Do Come True Part 2: Dreams Really Do Come True

Shooting Star, Sweetie Belle, Applebloom and Scootaloo had finally gotten back to track after one crazy week with Spike’s condition and other things they needed to get back to school and get back on the old schedule Star was once again sleeping in while Sweetie Belle had left forschool. Shadowfoot was passing Shooting Star’s bedroom, seeing the alicorn still sleeping this gave the unicorn an idea. He ran downstairs to grab a bucket of water, when he came up he saw Shooting Star awake, brushing his mane and tail trying to get the knots out.

“Uhhh... Good morning Star.” Shadowfoot said with a nervous laugh in attempt to hide the bucket of water, “You should hurry and get to school or you will be late for yo--.” Shadowfoot was then drenched in ice cold water.

“Good morning Shadow. nice try with the bucket of water!” Shooting Star said with a chuckle, “Maybe if you got lucky enough and were passing by about ten minutes ago, then you would have gotten me, but still, well planned out now you should go dry off before you catch a cold.” He said walking out of his room.

“Oh and Star before you go, don’t forget they are giving out report cards today.” Twilight shouted as he flew out the door, leaving a still soaking wet and shocked Shadowfoot standing nearby. “Shadow honey, please go and dry off or you better meet me in the bathroom.” The mare added with a wink.

Shooting Star arrived at school, seeing three certain mares and one stallion he walked over and gave a white mare a smack on the flank making her turn around flabbergasted that somepony would do that when she looked the mare saw a blue alicorn stallion grinning like an idiot at her before laughing.

“Good morning Sweetie Belle.” He said bringing Sweetie Belle into a long passionate kiss, “And how is my favorite mare this morning?” Shooting Star asked hoping she was not mad about him smacking her on the flank.

“I am doing well, thank you for asking.” Sweetie Belle said, kissing him back after they broke the kiss seeing Scootaloo and Shadow Breeze in there own little make out session. Shooting Star and Apple Bloom both shared an evil grin.

“Wooo! you get some Shadow!” Shooting Star shouted at the top of his lungs while Apple Bloom did the same for Scootaloo, making Sweetie Belle, Shooting Star and Apple Bloom burst out laughing while Shadow Breeze was trying to hide his blushed expression as Scootaloo was glaring at them.

“It was what it looked like! That’s what Star!” Scootaloo exclaimed glaring at him making the three laugh even more, “Lets just go to class.” She grumbled as the four walked in the school. Sweetie Belle and Shooting Star began walking to their gym class, smiling the whole way knowing that the prom was coming up in the upcoming weeks.

As Shooting Star and Sweetie Belle walked into the gym, there was somepony missing, it was Lyra Heartstrings. Standing in her place was Colgate, the whole class was baffled that Lyra had been their teacher the whole year and she was not in class. The older unicorn mare was smiling, but the whole class knew her as Ponyville’s local dentist, not as a substitute.

“Hello everypony, as you know my name is Colgate and I am the local dentist, but Ms. Heartstrings is out sick today. So since I am free today I thought I would be your substitute.” Colgate said now with a malicious smile. “Oh and Prince Star, I will see you next tuesday. Now today we are going to practice combat magic!”

“Oh that is a easy stun spell Colgate, Infact Twilight taught it to me when I was about twelve,  there is an easy counterpart to it that will allow the pony you use it on can redirect it to the caster.” Shooting Star said with a grin of his own while every other ponies’ jaws were on the ground. Shooting Star, the pony who did not study or so they thought got every part of that correct.

“Y-Y--Yes that is correct Prince Star. Now if you watch the demonstration you will see just how it works!” Colgate stated as she used the spell on the practice dummy seeing the magic surge through it. After the spell took it course the class chatted amongst themselves going up to their own practiced dummies using the spell for themselves.

The bell had rang after a tiring two hours and the unicorn gym class was let out and it was there free period for everypony, but mainly Shooting Star and Sweetie Belle the two went out to the quad and sat down pulling out a couple of sandwiches and drinks. Shooting Star and Sweetie Belle started eating.

“Wow Star, these sandwiches are great!” Sweetie Belle exclaimed between bites.

“Well Sweetie Belle, I did make them myself...” Shooting Star said, seeing Sweetie Belle’s eyes widened seeing the shock on his lover’s face, “What you don’t think I know how to cook or make a sandwich for that matter?”

“Oh Star, I was just joking with you.” Sweetie Belle lied, “You know how much I love teasing you!” Sweetie Belle then engaged in a kiss with Shooting Star. After a little while the couple heard someone shout.

“Woohoo! the Prince is getting somepony tonight!” When they looked up they noticed it was Nocte Peregrinans.

“Go away Nocte!” Shooting Star shouted.

“Aww come on, let me watch...” Nocte kept pestering only to receive a “No.” from both Shooting Star and Sweetie Belle.

“Fine you win I am out of here.” Nocte stated before flying off leaving an annoyed Shooting Star and Sweetie Belle behind.

“Now that he’s gone there is something I wanted to ask you Sweetie Belle.” Shooting Star said looking into his true love's eyes.

“Yes Stary what is it?” Sweetie Belle asked smiling at Shooting Star’s deadpanned face.

“Please Sweetie Belle don’t call me that!” Shooting Star pleaded at the now smirking Sweetie Belle.

“Fine I won’t call you that, Star.” Sweetie Belle giggled.

“Sweetie Belle... Will you go to the prom with me?” Shooting Star asked with a tone of concern in his voice.

“Yes, yes, yes! Yes!” Sweetie Belle cheered.

Welp everypony I know this one took a bit longer but I got it done I have had a MAJOR writers block for this story but the new chapter is finished after this updates for the story will be sooner I also want to thank my editing team for helping me out
