Dreams Do Come True Part 2: Dreams Really Do Come True

A few weeks had passed since Shooting Star had asked Sweetie Belle to accompany him to the prom, in which Sweetie Belle happily said yes to. She had to go to Rarity's house, seeing as Rarity had come back from Prance, so Shooting Star had the day off to do whatever he wanted. Meaning no homework, and no studies, now Shooting Star was planning how he was going to propose to Sweetie Belle, he had already bought the engagement ring, he just needed to figure out how he should propose. Should he move the stars to spell ‘Marry me Sweetie’? Or should he do something more subtle?

He grinned, walking into the library, and went into sudden shock at seeing none other than Spike, though he was no longer a pony but now once again a dragon "Spike. How the buck did you turn back into a dragon!?" Star half shouted.

Spike turned around "Well it turns out the whole reason I turned into one is because Pinkie Pie put poison joke in a cupcake she made me" Spike huffed.

Star could not help but to snicker at this, the fact that he got pranked by Pinkie Pie "Spike, everypony knows when Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash are on a pranking spree do NOT accept anything they give you."

"So whats up Star?" Spike asked "And why isn't Sweetie Belle with you?"

"Oh Sweetie’s at her sister’s, Rarity just got back from Prance today." Shooting Star said "So Sweetie wanted to surprise Rarity by making her a nice dinner." Both Spike and Star laughed "I would hate to be Rarity.”

"Yeah I know how you feel Star but still you do love her right?" Spike asked "And I mean really, REALLY love her?"

Shooting Star groaned he knew where Spike was going with this and it was getting old. Spike knew the answer very well; he also knew that Star planned on asking Sweetie Belle to marry him. "Spike, what kind of question is that? You know I love Sweetie Belle with all of my heart and soul. I can see it now.” The alicorn said, falling into his fantasy, “Sweetie and I having foals of our own." Star chuckled to himself before snapping out of his little fantasy "But I am hoping we have a colt. That way I can teach him everything I know."

“That’s great! Just don’t let Sweetie teach them how to cook or sew.” Spike said.

Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo and Applebloom all sat around the table at one of Ponyville's many cafes, chattering on about the prom and what they were each hoping for "I really hope that the school gets a good band to play" Sweetie Belle said as she took a sip of her drink.

"Yeah but I hope that the wonderbolts preform!" Scootaloo exclaimed

Applebloom just smirked, looking at Sweetie Belle "Well shoot Sweetie, do ya think that Star is gonna ask tha' big question?" Applebloom asked, causing the other two to look at her "Do ya think that Star is gonna ask ya to marry em’?" at that statement Sweetie Belle zoned out, like she did not have worry or a care in the world, fantasizing about how he’d ask. Both Scootaloo and Applebloom turned to each other before looking back at Sweetie Belle. Applebloom began to wave her hooves in Sweetie Belle's face after a few seconds of waiting for her to escape her trance "Hello? Sweetie Belle come on snap out of it would ya?"

Scootaloo smirked "Hey Sweetie Belle is that Star with another mare?!" Scootaloo pointed in a random direction.

Sweetie Belle snapped out of her trance, instantly snapping her head to the direction that Scootaloo was pointing "WHERE?! I WILL END THAT MARE!" Sweetie Belle shouted, a blush adorning her face after seeing all of the stares from the other ponies, she let out a nervous giggle "Eheheh sorry everypony." They returned to their business after she apologized, acting as if it didn’t happen.
