This Chappie Makes Me Happy

Star sat there in shock at what he just heard. He blinked and asked in a shaky voice “S..s...Sweetie, are you sure? This can’t be, we were so safe. Thats impossible! Please tell me you’re joking!” Sweetie shook her head saying “No Star, I’m not joking. You might be a daddy. I took a pregnacy test, and we should have the results in at any second now.” A few minutes passed and they looked at the test. Seeing it was negative, Star screamed at the top of his lungs “YES! YOU’RE NOT PREGNANT! IT’S A MIRACLE! YES!” Sweetie rolled her eyes and said jokingly “Wow Star, tell me how you really feel.” Star looked at her saying “Sorry about that, but I’m not ready for a foal. Maybe we should get some sleep.” With that Star and Sweetie snuggled up for the night.

“Star get your lazy flank out of bed! Knight and Sweetie already left, now wake up or else!” Star groaned, curled up in the foetal position, saying “Twi I don’t feel so good today.” Twilight walked over to him, and seeing that we was not faking, said to him “Ok you’re staying in bed today, I will bring you a sandwich at lunch, and check on you.” Star then said “Ok, I’m going back to sleep now. With that Star fell back to sleep.

Sweetie was sitting with Applebloom and Scootaloo, while Knight was sitting by himself. Zoom walked in, and, noticing that there was no trace of Star, smirked victoriously. “Well, where’s our little troublemaking prince? Did he get expelled? Or did his false princess of a mother see sense and banish him, like she did her sister, or maybe sh-”

*CRACK*

Everypony in the classroom watched as Zoom slumped over the desk, trying not to cry out in pain, his jaw was now swollen. When they saw who was responsible, their own jaws dropped.

“I’ve had it with your crap Zoom. Star’s my friend, and the things you’ve said about him are an insult to his honour, and I don’t appreciate that.” Knight said. He walked slowly over to Zoom and levitated him so they were face to face and whispered “Here’s how it’s gonna work Zoom. You’re going to stop insulting Star and Celestia, and you’re going to stop beating foals. If I ever find out you did...” Knight glared at him with an intensity that almost rivaled Fluttershy’s ‘stare’ “You’ll wish I’d killed you today. Am I clear?”

Zoom nodded frantically despite the pain of moving his jaw. Scootaloo got the nurse, who took one look at Zoom, then at Knight, and smiled lightly. “So, you’re the one who did it this time, eh Rising Knight?” Knight just shrugged and said “Just call me Knight, everypony else does. Plus, this flankhole had it coming, how this school could employ somepony like him is beyond me...” Red Heart chuckled and said “I agree, but unfortunately, with the budget cuts, he’s the only teacher we can afford for your class.”

Sweetie Belle said “Nurse Red Heart, maybe you should go and check on Star. He is at the library right now, and well, he never misses school.” Red Heart looked Sweetie in the eyes and said “Alright, but if it turns out he’s faking, or worse...” She trailed off. Everypony knew Red Heart found only one thing worse than faking an illness, and that was when somepony purposefully made themselves or another ill. Everypony in the class prayed that if either was true, that it wasn’t the latter...

Red Heart walked into the library and saw Twilight making some tea and a sandwich. She then asked her “Twilight, is Star here? The other students, especially Sweetie Belle, are worried about him.” Twilight turned to face her and said “Yes, Nurse Red Heart, he is in his room right now. He does not feel too well, and I was making him some hot tea and a sandwich.”

Red Heart walked up to Star’s room and walked in, seeing a bottle of aspirin and a glass of water she then spoke up “Star, are you feeling ok today?” Star looked at her and mustered up “No, not really. I feel like crap today.” She then walked over to him, checking his temperature and vitals making sure he was ok. She looked at him, smiled and said “It’s just a little flu bug, you should be back on your hooves tomorrow. And by the way,” She leaned in close and whispered “Sweetie was asking for you. She was worried sick, it’s really sweet of her.” Star then said “Ok good for her, you can leave now.” The whole day passed by rather quickly...

“Hey Star, Sweetie said if you beat her to school today she’s got a ‘special surprise’ for you.” Star then glared at Knight and asked him “Do you have a death wish?”. Knight smiled and said, “No, just relaying her message. She would’ve said so herself, but you were still asleep. She’s downstairs eating breakfast. Anyway, I’ll see you at school dude.” Star looked at Knight and added “Bye bye, I will see you jackflanks later.”

After about an hour, Shadow got a bucket of cold water and dumped it on Star, making him wake up. Shadow smirked at him and said “Morning, sunshine. You’d better get going if you wanna beat Sweetie Belle to school.” Star glared at him, but nonetheless got out of bed, grabbed a small breakfast, and ran out the door to the school.

He saw Sweetie about to enter the gates and put on an extra burst of speed and entered the school gates seconds before Sweetie, who smirked at him and said “Congratulations Star, ready for your ‘surprise’?” Star nodded slowly. “Then close your eyes.” She said. Star complied, and suddenly, he was doused in cold water. He opened his eyes to see Sweetie rolling on the floor laughing, with a bucket at her side and her horn glowing.

“What the buck Sweetie!?” He exclaimed. ‘Sweetie’ just continued laughing and pointed behind them, and Star’s jaw dropped. Sweetie Belle was there, smirking, walking towards them. and Star struggled to figure out how she could be in two places at once. Suddenly, the Sweetie who was laughing suddenly became enveloped in a flash of light, revealing Knight.

Star’s eye twitched and he said “Ok, what the BUCK is going on here!?” Knight just smiled and said “There was a message this morning while you were asleep. The school is closed for some Staff Meeting, so Sweetie and I planned this while you slept. We got Shadow in on it too. So, what did ya’ think? Did we get you, or did we get you?” Knight smiled and held his hoof out.
