Chapter 15: The Flesh Titan

Earth – Richmond General Hospital

The hospital loomed over the ruined city, its sealed doors and reinforced windows warning of the horrors inside. The gang stood in front of the welded-shut entrance, weapons at the ready.

Pops adjusted his grip on his shotgun, chewing the last bite of his Snowball before tossing the wrapper. “Something about this place don’t sit right.”

Dan nodded, cracking his knuckles inside his E.O.D. suit. “Yeah. Feels like a bad horror movie.”

Sam took a deep breath. “No turning back now. We get in, loot what we can, and get out fast.”

Trixie shuddered. “I have a bad feeling about this…”

Starlight charged her horn. “You and me both.”

With a loud BANG, Sam shot the lock off the back entrance, and the team cautiously made their way inside.

Inside the Nightmare

The stench of rot was overwhelming.

The air inside was thick and humid, as if something was breathing in the walls. The hallways were lined with half-melted corpses, their bodies fused into the walls, twisted in agony. Some still had faint, twitching movements, their mouths gaping as if trying to scream.

Trixie gagged. “Oh, sweet Celestia—”

Dan, scanning the area, muttered, “What the hell happened here?”

Sam grimaced. “This isn’t just a hospital. It’s a damn graveyard.”

The deeper they went, the worse it got.

They found surgical tools covered in dried blood, syringes filled with black sludge, and medical notes scribbled in frantic, desperate handwriting.

One message, scrawled across a broken monitor, read:

“DO NOT OPEN THE LOWER WARD. IT LIVES.”

Pops groaned. “Welp. That ain’t ominous.”

Dan clenched his fists. “I say we loot the pharmacy and get the hell outta—”

*THUMP.*

The walls trembled.

*THUMP. THUMP*

Something HUGE was moving below them.

Then—

The floor buckled—and a HULKING, NIGHTMARISH MASS OF FLESH ERUPTED FROM THE GROUND.

The Flesh Titan

The creature was a walking abomination, standing nearly twelve feet tall, its body a grotesque fusion of hundreds of infected—arms, legs, and screaming faces protruded from its twisted, pulsating body.

Its eyes—if it even had any—were just empty, gaping sockets, and its massive, swollen torso looked like it was barely holding together.

Then it ROARED—a horrific, inhuman sound, filled with the voices of every infected trapped inside it.

Sam stumbled back. “Jesus Christ—”

Dan revved his flamethrower. “Oh HELL NO.”

The creature charged, its enormous arms swinging wildly, smashing through medical equipment and sending debris flying.

“MOVE!” Sam shouted.

They scattered, firing everything they had—bullets ripped into the horrific mass, but the damn thing wouldn’t go down.

Pops fired his grenade launcher, the explosion sending chunks of flesh and bone flying—

But it KEPT MOVING.

Starlight and Trixie blasted it with magic, trying to burn and freeze it at the same time—

But it HEALED almost instantly.

Dan was starting to slow down, his wound from the cultist still aching, his movements getting sloppy.

“We—can’t—KILL THIS THING!” Starlight shouted.

Sam gritted his teeth. “Then we trap it.”

[The Final Stand

They ran through the halls, leading the creature into the hospital’s old generator room—a space filled with exposed gas lines.

Sam fired a burst, hitting an old fuel tank, causing it to leak.

Dan, catching on, nodded weakly, raising his flamethrower. “Time to BBQ this bastard…”

The Flesh Titan stormed in, smashing through walls, reaching for them—

Dan, despite his exhaustion, pulled the trigger.

*FWOOSH!*

The room ignited instantly—a wall of fire and chaosconsuming everything.

The Flesh Titan screamed, its bodies melting, its faces twisting in agony—

The gang ran, barely escaping the fireball before it ENGULFED THE ENTIRE WARD.

The blast ripped through the hospital, collapsing half the building, burying the abomination under tons of burning rubble.

Silence.

Then—

Pops coughed. “Well… that was a goddamn thing.”

Dan groaned, slumping against the wall. “...Did we win?”

Sam dusted himself off. “If it’s still alive after that, I quit.”

Trixie let out a choked sob, laughing and crying at the same time. “I hate this world so much.”

Starlight just stared at the burning wreckage, whispering, “Let’s never do that again.”

Pops patted her shoulder. “No promises, kid.”

They limped back to the RV, shaken, battered, but alive.

The hospital still burned behind them, the monstrosity finally dead.

As they drove off, heading toward , Sam exhaled.

“Florida better be worth this.”

Pops took another bite of his Snowball. “Damn right it better be.”

And so, the journey continued.

Meanwhile, in Equestria…

The enchanted mirror flickered, showing Twilight, Celestia, and the others the entire battle.

Twilight had dropped her quill, her face pale.

Fluttershy hid behind Rainbow Dash, trembling. “W-w-what was that?”

Applejack swallowed hard. “I ain’t ever seen somethin’ so... wrong.”

Rainbow Dash, wide-eyed, whispered, “They actually killed it…”

Celestia, her face unreadable, finally spoke.

“We need to reach them. Now.”

The portal shimmered—their window into the apocalypse still open.

Time was running out.
