Chapter 32: The Last Great Battle

Earth – Approaching the Military Base

The RV barreled down the cracked highway, dust kicking up behind them as they neared the Mexican-American military base—a fortress of concrete, steel, and barbed wire.

Dan sat in the passenger seat, gripping his flamethrower tightly. His mind was racing.

Tsunami was here.

They had finally found him.

Pops, driving with one hand while eating a stolen candy bar with the other, smirked. “Almost there, boys and girls.”

Sam reloaded his rifle. “Stay sharp. No telling what we’re walking into.”

Then—

Something changed in the air.

Starlight tensed. “Do you… feel that?”

Trixie shuddered. “Trixie suddenly feels very unsafe.”

Then—

The sky darkened.

The wind shifted, carrying a deep, guttural sound—not a roar, not a shriek, but something… wrong.

Dan’s gut twisted. “What the hell is that?”

Then—

They saw it.

The Rise of the Titan

From the ruins of Mexico City, something was forming.

Hundreds of millions of infected.

Bodies—humans, animals, birds—fused together, twisting, shifting, writhing, becoming something far beyond a horde.

A monstrosity, standing over 350 feet tall, its skin blackened, its muscles exposed, its red-glowing veins pulsing with unnatural energy.

Its eyes, hollow and soulless, fixed upon them.

Dan’s breath hitched. “...No. No, no, no, NO.”

Sam muttered, “That’s… that’s not possible.”

Pops exhaled. “Son, nothing’s impossible anymore.”

Then—

The monster opened its mouth.

And an unearthly, mechanical howl ripped through the heavens.

Tsunami Joins the Fight

Before anyone could react, a familiar sound thundered from above—

*WHUP-WHUP-WHUP-WHUP!*

An Apache attack helicopter came diving down from the clouds, dodging a massive energy beam of sickly green light fired from the creature’s maw.

Dan’s heart leapt.

“TSUNAMI!”

The Apache circled, peppering the colossal abomination with hellfire missiles and chain gun rounds.

The weapons barely made a dent.

Over the radio, a familiar voice crackled in—gravelly, cocky, but unmistakably alive.

“’Bout damn time you guys showed up!”

Dan grinned for the first time in hours. “YOU CRAZY BASTARD!”

Tsunami laughed, dodging another blast of green energy as it obliterated a skyscraper behind him.

“I take it you’ve seen the big guy?”

Sam, eyes locked on the towering nightmare, muttered, “Yeah. And we have no idea how to kill it.”

Pops smirked, cracking his knuckles. “Then we learn real fast.”

Tsunami, looping around, unleashed another volley of missiles, but the monstrosity barely flinched.

It took one slow step forward, its grotesque mass shifting, its hollow eyes locked on them all.

Dan clenched his fists.

This was it.

The final battle for survival had begun.

Meanwhile, in Equestria…

The enchanted mirror flickered violently, showing the impossible creature rising.

Twilight gasped. “That’s… that’s a TITAN.”

Rainbow Dash’s wings flared. “HOW DO YOU EVEN FIGHT THAT?!”

Celestia, watching the towering nightmare, whispered—

“They will find a way.”

Pinkie Pie, shaking, whispered,

“They have to.”

The mirror flickered—showing the RV and Apache preparing for war.

This was it.

The last stand.
