Blaze pov

I was sitting in my room with a storm raging outside my window. I was watching my favorite anime Overlord. I was watching the second season episode twelve when the power suddenly went out. The computer shut off right as Ainz Ooal Gown and Demiurge were about to fight. I sighed then got up from my chair then walked out of my room and into the living room. I walked over to the back door then looked out the window. The rain was hammering down as the winds blew around the house. I sighed again knowing I had to go out there to start my generator up to get power back. I grabbed my heavy coat from the beside the door then sat down at the kitchen table and grabbed my boots from beside the table. I had the boots on I quickly headed out the back door. Lighting cracked around me as I ran over to the small side building I stored all my old yard tools in. I ran into the building slamming the door behind me. I looked and flipped the light switch forgetting the power was out. I groaned then felt around for the generator then I grabbed something like fabric. “What the?” Suddenly I was hit back with what felt like a truck. I broke through the builts weak wooden door and was splayed out of the ground. I tried to get to my feet as something walked into the doorway.

“I will you take my place?”

I creature that looked a lot like Ainz Ooal Gown walked out of the building. A full skeleton body covered in a ragged cloak. I back up on the ground it walked forward as it looked down at me.

“I will ask again will you take my place?”

I crawled back until my back on against the house with this thing standing over me.

“Calm yourself human. I have come to offer you something.”

I gulped as I looked at him as he waved a hand. Suddenly the storm around us stopped as he looked at me.

“Hm, you seems to have finally settled down human.”

He looked around then back down to me with red glowing eyes.

“How would you feel about becoming a overlord with guardians and an undead armies?”

I looked at him shocked as I saw him looked around the forest surrounding my house. “Um, I don’t know.” He looked at me again and his voice sounded frustrated.

“Is there something holding you back human? A family or a lover maybe?”

I nodded my head as I looked at him. “No, I was abandoned at birth and Ii don’t have a girlfriend.”

“I see hum..!”

Suddenly the this thing fell to the ground and I saw the back of the cloak was gone with all his bone broken or heavily cracked. “H-Hey are you ok?” He used his arms to push himself up as he looked at me.

“No, I’m dying and my tomb will be without me. That’s why I asked you if you’d like to take my place. I cast a spell to find someone worthy to inherit my throne and my powers.”

I helped him to his feet when pulled us both back into my house. I left him in the kitchen then went back out and got the generator working. When the lighter were working again I rushed but into the house and I stopped. In my house were three of the guardian from overlord.

I gulped as the three of them stared at me.

‘Good you are back I do not have long.”

I looked at the skeleton as he sat at the head seat of my dining room table. I started to sweat as I walked over to the other side of the table. I looked at them all as my mind tried to find a reasonable was to believe what I was seeing. “So… What is it you need from me sir?”

“He's name is lord Ainz Ooal Gown the master of the great tomb of of nazarick you lower life form.”

I flinched at her angry tone as she looked down on my.

“Enough Albedo, If he is willing he will be the lord of of nazarick now.”

All the guardians looked at him as they finally noticed his back.

“My lord Ainzs!”

Demiurge looked at him master if worry then tried to touch him but the skeleton. Who had the same name as I made up man looked at me.

“I cast a spell to find someone who would fill my throne just as or better as I have. The spell brought me to you so I ask again do you wish to be an overlord human?”

I was looking at them as they all looked at me. I swallowed dryly as I started to talk to them ready to run like hell if I made them mad. “Um, what all would that entail if I wanted to be?” e waved a hand then a morir formed in the air.

“You will not only inherit my throne but since I’m going to pass soon I will also give you my magic skills and spells. My armies and guardian will follow you will as they do mine. For all the residence you will be the new supreme ruler. Believe it or not I too was once a human before I became the master.”

The guardians looked shocked as he looked at me. “I have two questions.”

“Very well ask them.”

“One being what kind of enemy gave you those wounds? Two do I have to become a skeleton as well?” He start to laugh as he looked at the roof as I saw cracks forming on his neck. “Hey! You bones are cracking even more stop!” He didn’t listen as the cracking got worst as he finally stopped then looked at me.

“There are five alicorns and many other horse like people. I suggest that you not trust them if your smart. I did then when they saw my real face and my tomb they turned on me. I tried to be peaceful I tried not to fight with them. I was an ally to them when the griffins attack them. We destroyed them for those two then they stab us in the back!”

He slammed his fist into the table as cracks formed on his fist bones. I sighed then started to think as I looked at him. “I see but now for my second question do I have to be a skeleton too?” He nodded as he looked at me.

“No, I got this way after I started to practice necromancy so I know how to keep it from happening to you as well. Now I suggest we get moving I can’t hold myself together much longer.”

“My lord please we can heal if you just…”

Demiurge stopped as the hand on my table suddenly crack even more the turned to dust.

“Lord AINZ!”

All of them yelled as they looked down at him as other parts of his body is started to crack and fall about.

“Enough I don’t have time to listen to you all yell. This in my last and most absolut order to you and all the guaidens. He is the new supreme one and his work will be just like mine. You will swear your fidelity to him and his name.”

They looked conflicted as the man or whatever this thing who as crazy as it is has the same name as my favorite anime character just not as violent. I smiled as I looked at him. “Fine I have nothing else in this world so I’ll be your overlord.” He laughed as he he held his other hand out as it formed cracks.

“Once you take my hand you will blackout but awaken with power you’d never believe. You’ll have lost your emotions and your personality will change but you will be the same in appearance.”

I grabbed his hand then I blacked out as I felt my hand burning from the touch.

Two hours before Ainz pov

The royal family, their elements and guards had forced their way into the tomb after killing my undead army with the help of Discord. “Cocytus! Demiurge! Protect those door none of them gets through to the final floor I will not let then destroy it!” They did as I saw killing all the guards at came near them.

“Sister their he is!”

I looked over and looked at the mares I called friends not a day ago. “You two!” I looked at Luna and Celestia and the lap dogs they call the elements of harmony. I looked back at the last gate that held the reincarnation crystal. I looked at them as they had their weapons pointed at me.

“Ainz let us end this! Just surrender we don’t want to kill a friend.”

“Shut up Luna you have no right to call me that! I did everything to prove I was on your side! I help you fight the griffins, we protected the country and saved your ponies!” i raised the staff of Ainz Ooal gown and cast a spell. “Triple maximum magic Call Thunder!” I cast a massive thunder spell flew from the staff then hit both the sisters making them scream in pain. I teleported behind then with a spell in my hand. “True Darkness!” I massive column of darkness slammed down onto them.

“Now!”

I turned my head as they purple alicorn and her five friends floated in the air. “Skill the point to all life is death! Voiden magic cry of the banshee!”

The banshee's cry stopped many but it was too late to stop the spell. A harmony past skilled fired and slammed into my back. The skill was negated skill and the attack hit me then slammed into the spells I hit the two in front with. They spells were canceled out and I looked at the door. I used my staff to support myself as I held my hand up. “Greater teleportation!” I teleported myself and my strongest guardians into the room I myself put dozens of defensive spells to keep anyone but myself out.

“Lord Ainz!”

Albedo ran over to me her white dress covered in blood. I fell to the ground then held my hands up again. “Maximum magic universal search!” I cast a spell to find a worth canadeit to royal the tomb.

Blade pov

I was sleep but saw a world I’ve never seen. I saw creatures that stood like humans but definitely not human. Their were some who looked like bulls, horses, eagles and other animals. I noticed something about the female horse as well. They were slightly larger than the males of their own race. Females being around seven to eight feet and makes about six and half. Sexual dimorphism is a thing with that race but the ponies only strange.

“His not breathing can I eat him?”

“No he is the new lord of the tomb. So no Entoma you can not eat him.”

I groaned as I heard them talking around me. I started to seat up as I opened my eyes to look around. I saw all the maids the guardians and dozens of undead around me. I wasn’t scared for some reason. “Sebas some clothes please.” The head butler of the great tomb walked in front of me.

“My lord, I will find you a set in a moment but I must first ask you to stand up for a moment.”

I nodded then stood from the bed. I was naked, taller and I had lost all the fat from my body leaving me with lean muscles. “Please make sure that they would not be over fancy or god like. I need to earn the right to wear the god class wears of Ainz Ooal gown before I can wear them.” They smiled as they looked at me.

“I’d say about seven and eight inches. Ok my lord I will be back in a moment with your new clothes.” He walked away and I sat back down on the bed as I thought of what Ainz said. ‘Once you take my hand you will blackout but awaken with power you’d never believe. You’ll have lost your emotions and your personality will change but you will be the same in appearance. I guess that I have changed I wonder if my face has changed as well?’

“Lord Blaze I have your clothes.”

I looked over to Sebas and saw he had a set of fancy but normal looking clothes with a set of boots.

I got dressed then walked around as I got a feel for my new body. “Does anyone have a mirror I want to see what my face looks like.” Yuri summoned a mirror then held to out to me.

“My lord”

I took the mirror then looked at myself. I had snow white hair with piercing blue eyes. I smiled as I ran my hands through my hair. ‘I like the hair it's like Dante from final fantasy.’ I nodded as I started to walk to the door. “Demiurge please walk with me I wish to speak to you. The rest of you please return to your duties.”

“Lord”

He walked beside me as the other returned to their duties.

“My lord what can I do for you?”

I could hear the strain in his voice and I knew he didn’t like to call me lord. “First please call me Blaze I can feel the strain in your voice.” I saw him stop for a second then he started to wake. “I understand I am not one of your great ones who created you all. Please let the other know that they are free to call me by my name until they feel I have earned the title of lord.” I looked at him out of the corner of my eye and saw neutral look on his face.

“Yes, Sir Blaze now what was it you wished to speak to me about?”

I smiled as I looked forward again. “I gained a small amount of information of this land. I want to get behind enemy lines as to destroy them. But it is spotty at best I need more information families in power royalty anything of that kind of and take me to the armory please.” He actually smiled then turned to the right.

“This way Sir Blaze. Now their is a royal family a queen of the day Celestia and the Queen of the night Luna. They each have a husband and kids. Illusion a mix breed of alicorn and draconequus. Luna’s daughter Nidra a alicorn bat pony mix breed. Luna’s husband was also killed on the attack they launched to protect his daughter we have his body if you wish to turn him into an undead.”

“Maybe but keep going please.”

“Very well then there are the elements and their kids. First I think I’ll start with the princess of their group and her family. Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry. Starburst is their daughter. She also happens to be a pegasus. She is very brave and would much rather be out and about than inside reading. Because of this, Star has a bit of a hard time relating to her mother. She aspires to be the first mare to be a captain of the royal guard. She's known that was her goal from a young age so as a result, she developed a very disciplined, serious mentality. She has a hard time loosening up and having fun which makes her the buzzkill amongst her friends but they love her anyway.

Then there is Twilight’s adopted brother Spike and his family. A daughter named Crystal Clarity and Turquoise Blitz. Crystal Clarity she is very curious and brave which got her into a lot of trouble as a child and still does get her in trouble as a young adult. Claire can be very aggressive and has no issue with knocking somepony out if they get on her nerves. However, Rarity does not allow such behavior. So, as a result, Claire learned how to be very witty and good with making comebacks as an alternative to punching somepony. Turquoise Blitz, He is a dragon/pony hybrid. He tends to be more on the quiet side and lets his sister do the talking. However, when his loved ones are threatened in any way he becomes completely different whatever he is. He also inherited his Rarity's generosity the sense that he puts others before himself and is willing to give up his time to make sure they are okay. That being said, one of his flaws is that ponies take advantage of every once in while but he is so caught up in the deed he is doing that he doesn't realize it.

Then there be the one I think maybe the most dangerous one Fluttershy. She stares even made lord Ainz stop and think twice. Anthea is the adopted, unicorn daughter of Fluttershy She was taken in by her when she was still very small. She is almost completely blind but is very in tune with nature and has a great hearing which helps her a lot. She is a lot like Fluttershy but much more social and outgoing. She also has a great sense of humor. Though she overall great traits, she has a tendency to be a pony-pleaser. She can't stand when people don't like her and will often go a little bit far to try to gain their friendship.

Next, there's Rainbow Dash and her family Prism Bolt is the son of Rainbow Dash and Soarin. He has a confidence that can only be matched by his mother's. He can be a total show off and because of it, comes off as somewhat cocky to others. He is probably one of the most talented fliers in Equestria but the only thing holding him back is his laziness. He'd rather chill out than practice and only gets up when he gets challenged. He also has quite the temper when he's insulted. Even though he may seem like a hot shot or a cool guy, he is actually very silly and enjoys having a good laugh and getting others to laugh.

Pinkie Pie and her family Cotton Candy is the daughter of Herself and Pokey Pierce. She is a lot like Pinkie Pie in personality but a little less crazy. Candy is still pretty crazy though. She likes making ponies smile but takes a much less aggressive approach than Pinkie Pie when it comes to doing so. She gives great advice and can calm down and have a good talk with her friends when they are feeling sad. I remember she tried to get me to smile for two hours straight without getting a smile.”

I looked at him as he looked at me. “Just finish please and I may have to avoid those two I hate people like that.”

“I understand completely Sir. Now, where was I ah yes they last of the Golden Delicious the son of Applejack and Caramel. He looks like a big, tough guy but is a total sweetheart. Family comes first for this stallion and he believes that they are his closest friends. Gold is a lover, not a fighter and it takes a lot of effort to get him agitated. He's very understanding and accepts every pony for who they are. He is also a terrible liar just like Applejack. Here have a look at them.”

“Hm, they look quite strange but that is to expected. I think I’ll go after the one in the middle first the daughter of the princess.”

“The armory Sir Blaze.”

I stopped as Demiurge opened a large door. I smiled as I walked into the large room. I looked around to see what all way in the armory. I looked around at the suits of armor, spears, swords, axes and war hammers. I walked deeper in then saw a set of twin swords near the back. I walked over to them then grabbed the swords. They had a red and black handle with red cordes that the heel. I drew the sword to see what the blade looks like a normal katana but with a line for blood to drain out.

“Nice chose sir.”

I looked at Demiurge as he looked at me. I looked at them again the blade again then raised my hand. “Let’s give this a try all appraise magic item.” I cast a spell on the sword and it glowed a light green. Information flooded my mind as I looked at the blade. “I see this one of a powerful enchantment to make it unbreak and able to cut spells.” I sheath the sword then did the same with the other blade. “And this one has a powerful wind magic.” I sheathed the blade then looked at around for a beat to wear so I could carry them.

“Here sir”

Demiurge held a belt out to me. “Thank you Demiurge.” He bowed then we walked out of the armory. “Demiurge I will find the throne room so please gather everyone I have a plan.”

“Very well Sir.”

Demiurge walked away as I started to walk to the throne. I smiled as I walked down the halls of the great tomb like I always wanted. I walked down the biggest halls I saw and started to hear talking.

"What do you think the new master is like?"

I heard a confident female voice say as I walked into what looked looked the main hall.

"I hope he's not mean or will hurt us."

I heard a more submissive male voice say as I final saw who was talking. The twins guardians of the 6th floor.

They looked at me as I walked into the hall they were in. They saw me and both smiled as I walked over to them. I saw they were a little scared as I looked down at them as I was now very tall. I smiled then kneeled to be on their level. “Hello you two I’d like to ask if you’d take me to the throne room.” They nodded as they started walk down the hall. I got up then started to follow them down the hall then I heard one of their stomachs growl. I saw Aura stiffen as she walked. I laughed then summoned a bag full of dried meats. “Here eat this.” I held the bag out to her as she looked back at me.

“Thanks!”

She snached the bag out of my hand then started to the meat. I laughed a little as I lifted the two of them onto my shoulders then started to walk down the halls. I saw the throne room door then smiled.

“Sir Blaze why are you carrying the twins?”

I looked over and saw Albedo as she stood in front of the throne room. I walked over to the door then set the twins down. Aura taking the bag into the throne room as they ignored us for now. I smiled as I looked at the two of them then I looked at Albedo. “I thought I would be nice to them seeing as I’ve come up with a plan I’ll need all of you for.”

“And what would that be?”

I smiled as I walked into the throne room. “You will hear in a second so please go into the throne room.” She did as I asked then I followed and walked up to the throne. I seat back in the throne and looked out over those that call the tomb home. I smiled as I looked a them al as the kneeled to me. “I have a plan to get revenge for the death of you last supreme one who gifted me with powers. I feel as I owe more than I can repay right now but my plan will let me start I need volunteer from the guardians to help with the first stage before I explain farther.”

Three hours later Canterlot castle Luna pov

“Mother how long do you intend to cry over that photo of father?”

I looked to my daughter as she looked at me her eyes still red from the lost of her father in the raid of the tomb of nazarick. I wiped my tears away as I looked at her. “ Leave me alone Nidra. Your father died today all for what?! We overreacted and attacked Ainz before we even gave him a chance to explain why he practiced necromancy. Besides if not for your father you would have died.” I sobbed as I looked down that photo of my late husband Supernova the captain of the night guard. I felt my daughters arms wrapped around me in an attempt to comfort me.

“I know Mother I know I miss him too.”

We cried together until my nephew Illusion burst through doors of my chamber. He looked shocked as he looked at us.

“Illusion what are you doing can’t you see were grieving?”

Nidra choked her words out as she tried to stop her crying. He pointed down the hall and was sputtering.

“He… they…. Here!”

I whipped my eyes again then spoke. What are you trying to say Nephew?” He too a deep breath then shouted.

“Supernova is alive and in the throne room with a creauter!”

I dropped the photo as I looked at him shocked then anger but Nidra yelled before me.

“Is this one of your father sick jokes!? I saw my father's body he can’t be alive it was torn apart beyond anything I’ve seen!”

He yelled back at her.

“Then come and see if this is a joke!”

We looked at each other then teleported to the throne room. I stood there looked at my husband you I saw die being held up by a bloody and beaten creature. My sister, Discord and the guards to shocked to move.

“Daddy!”

Nidra yelled as she ran over to her father tears streaming down her face. She tackled the two of them to the ground the creature being knocked away as the two of them hugged and cried. I smiled as a fresh stream of tears fell from my eyes. I saw the creature having trouble getting back up the guards snapped out of it then charged it. They tackled it back to the ground then Supernova started to yell.

“NO! STOP! HE SAVED ME!”

His voice was horse as if he had talked in weeks. He tried to get Nidra off to try and help the creature. My sister snapped out of it as she used her magic to pulled the guards off the creature who now had a few new bruises on it arms and face. I it rolled onto its back and looked at at the sealing.

“That’s a nice way to break out of hell right bats?”

He laughed as Supernova did.

“Ya, thanks for bringing me back and sorry you got so beat up helping me.’

He laughed some more as he talked.

“Don’t worry about take me saving you as a thank you for killing Ainz. With him gone I was able to free myself from that crystal.” I looked at him as Supernova managed to set up.

“I don’t know why Ainz locked you up but I’m grateful.”

He laughed a few more timed as Nidra looked over at him.

“Th-Thank you!”

She opened her wings then tackled into him into a hug. The poor thing started to turn blue from her hold on his neck. I rushed over and started to pull her arms out from around his throat. “He can’t breath Ndira let him go!” I pulled her arms back and he dropped to the ground taking deep breaths as he laid on the ground. I looked closely at me and saw his clothes were torn to ribbons and hand scars on his chest. He also looked young maybe around his late teens or twenties. He looked up at me as he sat up again.

“You must be the wife and daughter he was talking about after I just the rviving crystal on him. I wish I still had some of my magic and my damn swords fucking Demiurge stealing them before I could I got to your husband's corpse. I could heal myself or at least get away from here before the guardians came after me.”

I looked down at him as he calmed down and laid on the floor. I used magic to lift him and Supernova from the ground into the air. “I don’t care if they you to need at get medical treatment then you can explain what all happened after we left the tomb." He smiled while floating in the air.
