Overlord Blaze

Stage one Trust

We had been laying in the medical area of the castle for a few days. They had run tests over Supernova and me to be sure we were safe.

“King Supernova, Sir Blaze you’ve both been cleared your both free to leave.”

I smiled then got out of the office with the father close behind me. I stretched my arms while we walked down a hall. Supernova looked at me with a joyful smile. I put my hands in my pockets as I looked at him.

“What will you do now Blaze?”

I looked over at him while we walked through the castle. “My magic is almost fully back so I want to get my sword back soon. So I’m going to storm the great tomb again. Without my friends though, it will be much harder to deal with them.” We turned a right and started to walk to the throne room.

“I understand but I don’t like it. You're going back into a bucking dragons den Blaze. Why not just let it go? I bet I could have the blacksmiths make you new swords like your old ones. There's no need to go just to lose your life fighting them again.”

I thanked him for advice but inserted as we walked to the throne room door. “You know maybe I should stay here a little longer. I can’t remember the last time I didn’t have to sleep with one eye open.” He smiled as he pushed the door open.

“I’m glad to hear th…”

“Surprise!”

I heard someone scream while he opened the door. I grabbed Supernova then threw him back onto the ground. I raised my hand up to the door glowing. “Magic Chain Lighting!” I fired a blast of lighting through the door then left a large burn mark on the door. I kicked the door in another spell at the ready. I saw the royal family along with young ones Demiurge showed me with who I assumed to be their parents. The whole throne room looked like a party was about to be thrown with banister hanging in the middle of the room. I looked at the banister then read it. ‘Welcome to canterlot and thanks for saving Supernova’ I looked at them again I saw my lighting had destroyed part of the back wall. I laughed while I looked at them with a large pinked haired mare hiding behind Anthea I saw Demiurge wasn’t kidding.

“What is he doing?”

I heard a green dragon say as I walked over to the mare. I quietly walked over to her then waved a hand in her face. ‘Mostly my ass. She’s completely blind Demiurge.’ I held my hand up to her face then started to cast a spell. ‘A third tear healing spell should do the trick.’

"Hey"

I looked out of the corner of my eye at a green dragon. I looked back at the mare as I spoke. “Hold still please miss.” I covered her eyes with my hands. “Mass healing light.” A bright light covered my hands as I saw the green dragon lung at me. I kicked his jaw with the heel of my foot when he got close. I sent him flying back into the wall with a bloody nose. “I’ll heal you soon too just give me second longer.” I finished my spell then looked at her as she opened her eyes. She blinked a few times as the color of her eyes. The color changed to a light red while she looked at me. I waved as she looked at the two of us. Anthea I that s her name.

"Mom?"

She looked at the mare who was just tried to shake me to death. Her eyes wide as she looked at her daughter I guessed. I smiled while the two of them hugged each other. Then I looked over to the dragon who yelled at me. He looked shocked as I looked at him. "Sorry to kick you like that but I felt it more important to fix her eyes." He got up then walked over to me as everyone else looked on. He stood in front of me and tried to look intimidating. "Can I help you?” He fetches his face changed as he looked at me.

"I'm sorry, she's one of my friends and I was scared you were going to hurt her."

I smiled then patted his shoulder. "I understand young dragon. But you should try and quell that temper unless you know I was going to hurt her." He nodded as I looked down at him.

"Well, with that out of the way LET PARTY!"

A pink mare appeared beside us and yelled. I nodded then everyone started to talk to one another.

"Ya! Hit the music mommy!"

A light blue mare with a pink and white mane yelled. Music suddenly started to play in the throne room. I saw the mother over at what looked like a turntable. "How did she?" This time the young dragon patted my shoulder.

"None of us know how she does that just let it go."

I nodded then saw Nidra walking over to me. I smiled as she looked up at me being five inches shorter than myself.

"Sir Blaze it is good to see my father and you are clear to walk around again."

I smiled as I looked at her. "Me too I'm happy to be on my feet again. I never liked to just lay down for hours on end." She laughed into her hand as she looked at me.

"I'm the same way. I broke my leg when I was younger than had to be laid up in bed for a month."

We continued to talk until someone hugged me from behind. I blinked then looked down at my chest. I saw a pair of light pink arms around my chest as I felt part of my back getting wet.

"Thank you for giving me the gift of sight."

I heard Anthea's voice as I was not sure what to do. A few seconds later the smallest of the alicorns walked over to me. She looked at me all over then down to my hands. She then used her magic as a piece of paper with a pen appearing in the air.

"Mr, Blaze I would like to know how you were able to give Anthea sight when she was born blind."

I smiled as I started to explain the levels of magic. "You see I used a third tear mass heal spell."

"Third tear?"

I held up one finger as I looked at her. "Tears or level of magic range from one to ten. Each level higher is stronger than the last.bThen there is super tear magic which is very draining to the caster. I can use it but it's a last resort if I'm desperate. Now for some give and take. How did you all get so deep into the tomb?" She smiled then started to explain.

"You see first we had to deal with the undead army outside the tomb. Celestia and Luna used powerful elemental magic to destroy them. That took us a good hour until they were all dead for good. Then me, Luna, Celestia, and Nidra used powerful biding magic on Shalltear. We used them to bind her to the forest outside the tomb. The maids gave us a lot of trouble killing off half the guards we had with us. We managed to beat them as well. lastly, we defeated the guardians with the elements with the help of Nidra and Luna. We lose a lot of guards after they cast the spells.”

I smiled as the others were watching through the remote viewing mirror. 'I'll have to ask how five of the eight were defeated as well.' "So how did all of you weaken Ainz anyways?"

"We used an artifact of the age of the queen's mother. She had fought necromancers and made tools to use against them."

‘Shalltear will have to come first as a guardian of the tomb.’ “I have to ask you why you didn't kill her like you did Ainz?" Her eyes widened as she looked at me.

"HE'S DEAD?!"

I nodded then decided to fuck with them. "Yes, undead are weak to live based magic. I don't know what kind of magic you used whatever it was it worked." I saw horror in her eyes as she looked into mine.

"We killed him..."

She was muttering under her breath as she looked down. The stallion beside held her as she did this. I crossed my arms as I looked at her. "Sad really. Now the whole reason I was born is dead and not by my hands." The music stopped as everyone looked at right at me.

"What do you mean?"

Nidra asked as she looked at me. I looked at her with a straight face as I spoke. "The only reason I was born was to be used as a weapon to destroy him and nazerick." Everyone looked at me then looked at the orange mare out of the corner of my eye. Applejack I believe was her name. She looked at me with her eyes wide.

"What about your mother and father?"

I looked at the mare with a rainbow mare and tail. 'Rainbow Dash I believe was her name.' I scratched the back of my head as I looked at her. "I know my mother was a powerful healer."

"What about your father?"

"He was a powerful mage from what I know. He earned the title of the grand wizard king." I laughed as I looked at her. "I took that title though after his death."

"How do you compare to him in power."

Starburst walked up in front of me as she crossed her arms. She was full head shorter than me. "I've been told I outclassed him easily. Though I really can't say so myself. I've never met my mother or father." She looked at me for a second then tried to punch me in the face. I caught her fist before she could get it above my chest. I forced her arm back down without really trying. She other the hand did everything she could to try to finish the punch.

"LET HER GO!"

Her father tried to hit me too I grabbed his fist with my other hand. "Ok your started to get on my nerves. So I'm going to give you both two options. Stop this or I'm going to start throwing punches." They backed off as my tone was emotionless as I talked.

"Ok Blaze can you please calm down."

I looked over to Supernova and sighed. "Your house your rules." I used a softer voice as I looked at him. He sighed as I seemed to have calmed down. Nidra put a hand on my back as she looked at me.

"I'm sure they didn't mean to upset you, Blaze."

I nodded then walked away from the group around me. I heard Nidra and Supernova chastising them for making me mad.

'Sir Blaze were ready when do you want us to attack?'

I smiled hearing Cocytus's voice. 'When I'm alone with anyone of them attack me without mercy. Remember to make it look real Cocytus, Demiurge. Even if you have to break a part of my body.'

'Yes, sir.'

'Now all I have to do is wait.' I walked over to the table with drinks on it. I picked up a cup of punch as I looked out over the large group wondering who's help me spring my trap. An hour passed until I excused myself to use the restroom. Once finished I walked back out and saw Supernova waiting for me. 'Now Cocytus be sure to kill as many as you can in the city before we get there.' I walked over to him and smiled. "What's up Supernova?"

"I wanted to know if you'd be willing to join the night guard. Since you've lost your old..."

The castle shook as a massive ice pillar erupted from outside the castle walls. I looked out a window as I heard Cocytus's voice.

"Blaze I know you are here! You were once an honorable warrior come and face me!"

"That's Cocytus voice!' I took off running for the nearest door leading outside the castle. I had a wide smile was on my face as I ran. 'The plan begins!' I slammed through a large set doors and there stood Cocytus killing a large group of the guard. In his lower set of hands were my swords. "Cocytus!" He looked at me then used another ice spell and killed the rest of the guards around y8m. 'Ainz Ooal Gown could cast over seven hundred different spells. That was in the anime this isn't the anime. Well, let's see what I can do with this body.' I yelled back at Supernova. "Go get some help I'll hold him here Supernova."

"You got it! I promise I'll hurry back as fast as I can!"

"Ok!” I heard him running back as we stared each other down.

"Sir Blaze the sword Demiurge stole from you."

He threw the swords to me. I caught them as he summoned one more axes then two swords. I smiled as I drew the unbreakable sword. "A duel right?" He nodded as he pointed to the edge of the city.

"Correct now prepare yourself. No forgive

I smiled as I teleported in front of him. 'We've got to make this look good Cocytus.' I kicked him in the gut and sent him flying back. He crashed through the rooftop. I summoned the flying necklace when he was over the roof. I put it on then flew up after him as he landed on the ground behind the castle.

"Piercing ice spikes!"

Spike made of ice flew at me as I flew up to dodge them. I slammed back down then dashed forward with a spell in hand. "Triple maximax magic dragon inferno!" The fire covered my hand as I grabbed his left axe. The fire heated the metal quick and forced him to let it go.

"Smart using my natural weakness to attack. Unfortunately, you let yourself open!"

He tried to stab me with the swords in his lower hands. I jumped back as his swords grazed my sides. I used the flying magic again get some distance for a ranged attack. “Summon familiar black Dragon!” I used a six tear fire familiar l when I saw Nidra and all the others looking at our fight. A magic circle formed on the ground. A massive black dragon flew out of it. she stood tall at twenty or so feet above us with large wings with holes in its wings. On its head were four rows of horns with small spikes run down her back and tail. ‘Wait how do I know its a she?’

“What in the!?”

“A summoner? Very rare indeed. There are only a few om you left alive that have the power to summon a dragon. To overpower the will of the beast is truly a testament of your power.”

I smirked as I walked over to her side. ’I don’t know how I know its a girl but I guess it’s cool.’ She lowered its head to me then let me rub the top of her head. I smiled as she leaned into my rubbing more. “I’ve never done anything to harm her or force her to fight for me. Unlike your old master I use familiar summons not forced summoning that forces innocent creatures to fight for me. She’s a familiar I have a connection with. At anytime she feels like it she can leave or not come at all.” She nuzzling her head on the side of my head. “Haha, ok girl we can talk later right now were being rude to Cocytus.” She huffed then looked at Cocytus. I looked at him as well and saw he was waiting patiently. “Forgive me, it have been a long time since I’ve seen my old friend here.”

“I understand Sir Blaze you only wished to show some affection to her. Now if the two of you are ready let us continue.”

I laughed a few times as I started to walk to him. “I’m glad you came to fight if it was one of the others they’d attack me while my guard was down.” I started to run at him as my dragon roar then jumped into the air behind me.

“They do not fight with honor like I do!”

“ROAR”

My dragon tried to dive boom him but he spun and stroke her with his mace like tail. I took the chance to try and cut him. It work as he spun I cut him over his chest.

“AAHH! Your opened!”

I didn’t have the chance to dodge or fly as he used the same move on me. I was stroke in the right side of my chest. I was then sent flying through the wall near the others. I pulled myself out seeing my dragon crashed into Cocytus back. “Good girl hold him down!” I ran up to them and was about to cut his head. ‘Now Demiurge! Break my arm!’

‘Yes, sir.’

Demiurge jumped out of the shadows with a leg pulled back.

“Lower life forms!”

I turned my head as Demiurge yelled. I tried to pull my left arm back as he got on top of me. I swung his leg at my left arm. He slammed his leg into my arm at the elbow. My arm bent in breaking as he kept pushing his leg forward. I felt my arm snap in three different near where his leg hit me. He swung his other leg then hit me in the face making my head shoot back from the force. I felt blood running down my face as I stumbled trying to stay on my feet. I kept my grip on my sword as I looked at him. He had just kicked my dragon off Cocytus who then punched Demiurge in the face.

“Demiurge you dare to interuper our dual!?”

My dragon tried to jump on them but Demiurge sucker punched her back. “GIRL! YOU DEMON BASTARD!” I lunged forward and tried to cut Demiurges head off. I quickly dodged but I cut him crossed the face. He grabbed his face which gave me the chance to stab him but Cocytus stopped me.

“Forgive me but we have to postpone our dual. I must also apologize for this as well Sir Blaze.”

All four of his fist slammed into my gut and forced me to my knees. I looked back up as he raised a fist then something I didn’t plan for happened. Rainbow’s and Applejack’s son tackled into Cocytus.

“Back off ya varmints!”

“Ya!”

Demiurge was about to attack them but my dragon bit off his other arm.

“AH! You filthy worthless lizard!”

I grunted as I started to cast a spell. “Girl, guys get down!” They got off cocytus and all of them dropped to the ground. “I held my hand up as I looked at the two of them. “Greater teleportation!” The two of them were sent back to the tomb of nazarick. I grunted as I forced myself back up to my feet. A pair of hands grabbed me then helped me stand. I saw Applejack son helping me stand. “Thanks man.”

“I’ve got ya.”

The guard rushed over when they saw that the fighting was over. I looked down at my limp arm then sighed. “This is really going to hurt.” I heard my dragon groaning as she started to get to her claws. I looked at her as she walked over to me. I rubbed her head as she stood in from of all of us. “Thank you girl and I’m sorry you had to get hurt helping me.” She nuzzled my hurt arm as I rubbed her head. “I know, I know I was stupid and let him get the drop of me no need to rub it in.” She laid down in front of me then ruffled her wings. She growled as she tried to lay down. I cast a healing one her so she’d be fine. She looked at me out of the corner of her eye then hit me with a wing. “Ow! What was that for!?” She snorted and breath a little fire out. “Fine give me a little while then I’ll get you something to eat.”

“Um, how are you talking to her I can’t even understand her?”

I looked over my shoulder and saw the rest of the family walking over to us. The one who tried to shake me to death was in front. I shrugged my shoulders as I looked at her. “Don’t know but since I made a contract with her I can understand her.”

“Doesn't she have a name?”

Nidra walked up beside me and my dragon started to growl at her. Nidra back up a little as she lifted her head from her claws and looked at her. She turned her head to the side quickly with a huff. I looked at her flatly as she laid her head back down. “Really? Your going to be like that?” She huffed again as she looked at me.

“What is she say?”

I heard Nidra ask as she stood behind us. I looked back at her with a very sheepish smiled. “She said you all are unworthy to be near me or to approach me. She believes you are all cowards who only act when danger is passed. The only ones she will allow near me are the two that showed some balls and helped me.” Everyone of them looked greatly offended as they looked at the dragon. I sighed then made the stallion holding me up let go. I grabbed the sheath for my sword then put it between my teeth. I bit down hard as I grabbed my broken arm. It was bent in a inward. I grabbed then elbow then before anyone could stop me I forced my arm straight again. Five loud cracks were heard as I forced the bones to move. I saw everyone cringed as I did this and Nidra looked at her shocked at what I had just done. I opened my mouth and the sheath dropped with teeth marks in the wood. I let myself fall to the ground holding my arm as it growled a bright green.

“Uh, partner y'all alright?”

I heard the southern voice of the stallion. “Ya, just give me a few minutes healing myself is hard because of my pain.” A few minutes passed in silence as I healed my arm. My dragon stood up then walked over to me. She laid down then used her body to make a wall separating the other from getting near me. I finished healing my arm then sat up and rested my back onto her. She laid her head on my legs and looked at me. I smiled then got an idea. I summoned a black gem then looked at her neck. The gem itself was empty of magic so all I had to do was infuse some. I started to channel a telepathy spell then made it into a small orb. “Here’s to hoping I don’t blow us up.” She pulled her head back a foot. I pushed the spell into the black gem then watched as it started to turn blue like the sky. It shock in my hands for a second then it stopped. I smiled then waved for her to lift her head. She did then I pushed the gem to her onto her forehead. The gem fused into her head as she closed her eyes. I smiled as the blue energy traveled over her body then I heard a voice in the air.

“That stung Blaze.”

I smiled as I could now hear her outloud.

“Who’s there!?”

I heard a guard yell as we stood up. My dragon lifted her head to look around the area.

“I see others can finally hear my voice.”

I laughed as I looked up at her. “Yes, now you can tell them what you think yourself.” She nodded then looked at them all. She sniffed the airs a few times then walked over to Anthea. She flinched as she sniffed her a few times then looked at me.

“She has your scent on her. It’s weak but there, is she your mate?”

Both of us blushed then I yelled at her. “NO! SHE’S NOT!” She laughed then laid down in the opened area of the gardens.

“I knew she wasn’t but I wanted to see you blush. The last time I even saw you near a female was when you worked as the wizard to the king.”

I crossed my arms as I looked at her. I sighed the all of us walked back into the castle. I cast a spell on my dragon to shrink her down to the size of a large wolf. I returned to my room then fell face first into my bed as I smiled. ‘Stage one of gaining their trust is complete. Now on to stage two of my plan to destroy this nation. Now how to make Nidra fall in love with me? With any luck she turn nightmare like her mother did or maybe I can convince her to join me.’ I smiled as I slowly drifted to sleep.
