Years ago, Princess Cadance established the Canterlot Mortuary as a means to bring closure to the deceased and their loved ones, as well as closely examine the bodies of the deceased to find any sort of foul play.

Enter Mort Momento, the head mortician of the Canterlot Mortuary, Flashing Climax, the photographer for the crime scenes, Bloody Cutter, the autopsy examiner, Floral Adios, the funeral director, and Cinderella Fashionista, the embalmer. Together, the four are the staff that run the Canterlot Mortuary, which has begun to have a recent influx of female bodies cropping up. And with their increasing libido...

Tales from the Canterlot Mortuary is a collection of stories surrounding the mortician Mort Momento and looking through the many corpses that head his way, figuring out their means of death, carrying out their terms for a funeral, and having some fun along the way.
