The Great Discovery

One day in Harmony City, Iris and her friends; Akari, Noro, Hiro, Mai, Chi and Gallent Seed were walking down the street with the bright sunlight shingling down on the beautiful city.

Iris was the daughter of Korra and Mako, the king and queen of friendship.

Akari wasn’t he daughter of Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry.

Mai and Hiro were the twins siblings of Asami and Bolin and they were Iris’s cousins.

Nori was the daughter of Kombu and he was married to Rarity. She could change into a merpony an she loves everything to do with fashion and nature.

Chi was Nova’s wisp sister and she lives with Sunset Shimmer and Nova. Gallent Seed was also the son of Starlight Glimmer and Sunburst. He was shy and didn’t really like sports.

The friends were happily walking and talking when they passed and alleyway and Akari stopped and looked in the alley.

“Akari? What’s up?” Chi asked.

“I hear something st the end of the alleyway.” she replied. “It sounds like whimpering.”

“Maybe someone needs help?” Gallent added.

“Let’s go check it out.” Iris suggested. The others agreed and followed her into the alley. They stopped when they saw a moving cardboard box. “You think someone’s in that horrid thing?” Nori asked.

“Only one way to find out.” Iris said. She approached the box and used her magic lifted it up. What everybody saw made their hearts stop.

There was an anthro alicorn laying unconscious on the ground. The girl looked at be about fourteen. Her clothes were in sheds, her hair was disleveled and had a lot of dirt and grime on it as well as her body. Her body also had some bruisers and scratches on it.

“Oh my goodness!” Nori cried.

“Holy mother of Raava!” Hiro added.

“What happened?” Akari asked.

“I don’t know.” Iris stated. “But she needs help. Let’s take her to the castle. Mai, Hiro, you two go gather everybody else.” Iris ordered. The twins nodded and went off while Iris and the others went to her castle.

Soon, the mane 6, Bolin, Asami, Queen Leilani, Celestia, Princess Luna, Korra, Mako, Sunset, Nova, Sunburst and Iris’s lizard spirit siblings, San, Mika and Ali were present. Iris placed the unconscious mare in one of the guest bedroom. Korra placed a wet rag on the mares’ forehead to bring down her fever.

“What ever could have happened to the darling?” Rarity asked.

“Not sure but to leave in such a state.” Korra started. “It must have been pretty bad.”

“We also found two sets of paw prints near her.” Mai added.

“Well for. Ow, we should leave the mare to rest and check up on her in the morning.” Leilani suggested. Everybody agreed and went off.

A day passed and the gang went to check up on the mare. When Iris opened the door they all saw something that made them all gasp. The mare was sitting up in bed with two creatures by her side. One looked like a lion cub while the others looked like a kitten.

The two creatures saw the gang and growled at them. The mare meanwhile flinched now in fear. Iris slowly approached the three. “It’s okay.” she said. “We don’t want to hurt you.”

The creatures heard the gentleness in her voice and calmed down as well as the mare. “Do you wanna tell us our name?” Iris asked.

“I-It’s Crystal Diamond.”

“Well Crystal, I wanna introduce you to my friends, if that’s okay.” Iris asked.

Crystal nodded. After Iris introduced Crystal to her family, Crystal calm down and was speaking more clearly, thought it was still in a soft voice like Fluttershys’.

“Crystal, how did you end up in that alleyway?” Mai asked.

Crystal sighed sadly. “Well it went like this-“

Five months old Crystal was alone in the dark forest crushing and whimpering for her parents but they were nowhere in sight.

The bushes near her began to rustle and two wolves came out. One was white while the other was gray. The two wolves approached her and soon eight more wolves cane out of the bush to look at the creature in the basket.

The Alpha female nuzzled Baby Crystal, making hr giggle and grab her muzzle. The Alpha female then looked at the Alpha male. She began softly growling.

The wolf mom said “We can’t leave her here. Can we take her back to the den and raised her as our own?”

the Alpha male looked better his mate and the baby. After a long moment of silence, he nodded. The Alpha female immediately grabbed the blanket with Baby Crystal in it and carried her all the back to the den.

Once in the den, the female set her down and Baby Crystal began crawling around looking at the den curiously. The Alpha female only smiled at her little one. Then she headba growling sound coming from the little baby.

Baby Crystal began whimpering.

She was hungry.

The Alpha female went over and gently grabbed Baby Crystal and brought her to a corner of the den. She set her down and the baby smelled the milk. Baby Crystal crawled to one of her mipples and began suckling just like a newborn wolf pup.

The Alpha male cane in and sat down next to his wife and they both nuzzled each other and looked at Baby Crystal

“From that day, my wolf mom and day cared for me until they said that I was old enough to stroke out on my own.

So I wandered until I came here and found the alleyway. And then you all found me.”

When she was finished everybody was shicked and Pinkie and Hiro were crying. “That’s the sweetest and saddest story I ever heard!” they both sobbed.

The rest were amazed by Crystals’ backstory. “Sounds like you have an intriguing backstory Crystal Diamond.” Celestia said.

Crystal blushed.

“So have you ever used your magic and flown before?” Twilight asked.

“Actually, I never did.” Crystal replied. After a moment of silence, Akari said,

“So in the eighteen years you’ve been alive, you’ve never used your magic or flown in your life!” She asked.

Crystal nodded fearfully. “Easy Kars, you're scaring her.” Chi said.

Akari calmed down and apologized and then Queen Celestia approached. “Crystal, would you like to attend Harmony High with Iris and her friends?” she asked.

Iris and her friends gasped in surprise. “Really?” Iris asked. Celestia nodded.

“But will she be okay?” Hiro asked. “I mean she’s been raised by wolves all her life. Is she really ready for human society?”

“She will have you children there to guide her.” Queen Leilani reassured.

“O-Okay, I guess I could give it a try.” Crystal replied slowly. Iris and her friends cheered. Now they have a new friend and schoolmate.
