The Finding Of Order

This might not be the best time to write a story considering my mental state concerning things IRL but since when have I ever tried making sense, even in story. Now is where tears will be shed... By me.

While Twilight had no reason to trust the strange pegasus, she still knew that when somepony tells you to duck, you duck. At the same point in time, somepony was out in Canterlot when he heard somepony else yell "Duck!!!" to which he did. However he ended up sticking his face into a duck that had been waddling by at that exact moment and instead of dodging out of the way of something, he simply ended up getting a face-full of feathers.

This was not what happened to Twilight who; instead of faceducking, ended up preventing her head from meeting the walls of Carousel Boutique on a very personal level. As the dust settled, Twilight saw what had happened. When she found out this was the set of a new action movie she was not thrilled.

Ahead of her stood Princess Celestia, her horn glowing a heavenly light that seemed to radiate nuclear heat from it. "Where is he?" she hissed, her eyes glowing a blinding white. Luna stood off to her side a few hooves and seemed to be shying away from her enraged sister.

Pinkie Pie had other plans for the alicorns. Instead of helping them find their quarry, she instead hopped down the stairs of the boutique and tossed a large cupcake into the center of the room which, to everypony's surprise then yelled out "Distraction!"

In this moment, multiple things were noticed. One was that Pinkie was random. Two was that Rarity was on the ground spazzing from the mess that was now her place of business. Three was that The cupcake had begun eating itself. Four was the distinct lack of sense everything had, and fifth was that Order was nowhere to be seen.

"Words were spoken, threats were made and Pinkie laughed. After this mess of a scene was finished, Twilight made her way back to the library. She had been told by Celestia that the alicorn sisters would handle the search for Order. She had also been told a little about him as well. She had been told his name and that he was older than he looked. She had also been told to stay away from him at all costs because nothing more was truly known about him other than that he was a machination of Discord's."

"Pinkie.. I really do not need you retelling my experience I just had." Twilight said, her face cast downward. "I am not in the mood. Rarity is in the hospital for mental scaring and I can't help at all. I just want to be alone"

Pinkie gasped "NO! You can't get depressed! I need to get a party ready! STAT!" before Twilight could say anything, she was already gone.

Twilight sighed as she entered the library. This day could not get any weirder.

Twilight realized as soon as she said this that reality loves when you tempt it considering the scene that lay before her.

Order was in the center of the room. He was also floating... Upside down... Without using his wings.His mane, which had previously been almost black was now a light shade of gray nearing white. His tail had also changed to a light orange with a pink streak curling around it. He also had a tea cup in hoof; held upside down completely filled with sugar and a single drop of tea on the top.

"Hello again Ms. Sparkle. Might I just say how perfect your library is. Every book in place... except for the one under your mattress. Quantum Physics by Fortee Tu; I believe it was.

Twilight gaped at the sight before her. Her mind unable to process the amount of Pinkie this colt was channeling. In seconds she had passed out.

"Yeah I sorta should have seen that coming." Order huffed "Well about 18 minutes and 71 seconds should do it."

Twilight woke up in the same place she had fallen in. What surprised her more was that Order had apparently not moved since she had dropped.

"Congratulations you have order! You may applaud as you see fit!" boomed Order knocking Twilight back a hoof from the sound.

"What are you doing here!?!?" Twilight asked immediately "First you break into places, then you clean them up, then you are at the boutique and then Celestia blows down a wall!"

Twilight stood there breathing heavily from the outburst she just made while Order stood still as a statue. "Yeah, she has not gotten over her issues since I have been away has she? I suppose this is the part where I tell you everything about me. Then you say it is impossible. Then I rip a hole in reality, yell at the author to get on with the story then we continue right? Well I fixed this before and I can do it again!"

The author glared at his computer screen before continuing his story from a better point.

"You see, i am not what you would call normal. I am what you would call a mistake or the result of many mistakes." Order began his story at the most logical point, the moment he was created. "I was made when Discord grew bored. Did you know that there is only so much you can mess with before everything goes kablam? Well Discord found that out after he defeated the princesses the first time."

Twilight sat at the table, mesmerized by the story that was about to unfold. She was paying so much attention to the story she ailed to notice that Order kept glancing out the window.

"When the princesses were defeated, Discord was left free to do whatever he wished. This unfortunately included disharmony across all of Equestria. After he did this he ended up finding out that Disharmony everywhere meant no more room for more of it. After about a year of slowly going more insane, he created me. My role was to fix all his disharmony he created so he could make more. So I set out on my duty he had given, fix his mistakes. After half a century, the sisters had regained most of their power and had started fighting him again. However while they did this an idea struck me years prior. Why was I fixing anything, only for Discord to break it immediately after. With this thought in mind I went about creating a new world behind his back. Fortunately he didn't notice until it was almost too late."

At this point Order stood up from the table they were sitting at. And moved his wing aside showing the place his cutie mark would be at. "Up until this time, my cutie mark had never appeared which was one reason I never thought what I did was right. However it was during The Great Shift that it appeared. I had finished moving as many sane beings as I could into this "New Equestria" when I was discovered. It was not by Discord because if it had been, I would have been gone in an instant. However I was instead discovered by the two alicorn sisters. My thought had been to keep them here in the original Equestria because they had spent too much time near Discord to not affect the world too much. I realized how much of a mistake I had made. In old Equestria, the time of day had changed so much, so often, I had neglected to put any thought into how it would work in "New Equestria". I quickly worked up a deal with them which basically amounted to, control the celestial bodies and do not interfere in mortal ponies affairs. However before I could send them through, Discord showed up. Through a fight far to elaborate to explain, I was able to get a small portion of the alicorn sister's beings into "New Equestria" and sealed the way, before we were beaten by Discord. Unfortunately, you know he was able to get some of himself here too but not enough that he would resurface until the sisters had grown stronger. This did not save me from the portion of Discord that was still in Equestria. Sure, I tried to run and hide, but he always found me anyway. There was also nopony left in Equestria for him to disharmonize so all his attention was on me."

"Eventually he simply destroyed everything there was in this world. I still have yet to know why he did this but it simply became the shattered plane you saw New Equestria become when you fought and defeated him. I had no power in that shattered existence and slowly withered away. Eventually I had little else left and gave up. It was at this point however when things changed. Apparently, a link was formed with my created world and another. I found this out one existence when I was approached by an entity. It came heralding its World of Illogic as a blessing.I initially turned it down fearing it was Discord trying something on me but this turned out not to be the case. Discord captured me the next day and left me within Equestria's ground to rot. The entity came to me again, claiming its lack of anything to do with Discord and also giving me a glimpse of the World of Illogic. It had apparently existed for an inordinate amount of time before I had even come around. Creating a new reality had allowed it existence into any reality it wished, and yet it still could not take what it wanted. It had gained a host in my created world and had sparked within a being connected with the alicorn princesses. Branching paths had begun to take hold within New Equestria and nothing was set in order. It then offered its world to me yet again. All I would have to do would be to give it my sanity which at this point seemed so negligible a trade to give for all I would gain. Who was I to argue with one who had so easily broke its way into what I had worked so dearly to create."

Order lowered his head and spoke in a whisper. "And now I am here before you today. I lack any of what I once had and yet have gained much more. I still wonder just what sanity it took from me. Maybe what it took was instead a sane link between me and anyone I interact with? But here I am now and nothing will change this."

Order finally looked up at Twilight awaiting a response from the lavender unicorn but instead found himself face to face with something entirely different. He found himself staring at the one thing he could not expect to find. Pinkie Pie.

This chapter was written under the influence of a week of school and life dropping a bombshell. What of it? Now really go ahead and hate this chapter! I dare you!!!! I laugh at other peoples opinions but I do take them seriously. Who said what? Where am I? Maybe I should not have tried red bull, 2 five hour energies and a coke!
