Escaping is a notion long kept in Code Break’s mind, growing louder with each death he observed, with each command he gave. Escaping friends and military cohorts is one thing; escaping an AI engineered specifically to hunt down cowards, that’s another; escaping guilt and blood-soaked hooves...
That’s something else entirely.
