I woke up as I felt my head pound. What the f**k did I do last night, oh wait now I remember, it was dinner with the Pie family. Oh Sweet Celestia I got completely wasted with Pinkie’s father. I heard a voice speak softly “You may want to drink this, you were really drunk.”

I nodded as I drank the liquid, I felt the pain instantly leave, and I asked confused “Pinkie what was that?”

Pinkie smiled “My secret hangover recipe, it takes about a month to make one glass.”

I stared at the glass “Wow, you make this?” Pinkie smiled with a nod. I asked “Is Maud alright?”

Pinkie sighed “She will be okay, she cried herself to sleep.”

I cried “I’m sorry I hurt your family.”

Pinkie frowned “Don’t worry about it; you are the best thing that has happened to me in a long time.”

I smiled at that before asking “Did anything interesting happen while I was out?”

Pinkie frowned “Well Applejack and Twilight had a fight.”

I asked “About what?”

Pinkie sighed “Apparently Spike and Winona had pups.”

I frowned “I guess Applejack wasn’t very happy about that?”

Pinkie shook her head “She was furious, still I managed to get them to talk it out like adults before they destroyed the farm.”

I smiled “Good, but what are we going to do today?”

Pinkie smiled “Want to spar?” I nodded and cracked my neck. We entered the chamber.

I said “Looks like we are almost even now. I have grown a little bit but you are almost at my level now. The insane speed of our growth is a topic for research but we’ll leave that for another day.”

Pinkie smiled “Let’s get started.” I turned the gravity up to 20 and we flew at each other delivering multiples of rapid fire kicks and punches. I have to admit she has grown a lot stronger. After about an hour we left sweaty and tired. I smiled “So do you want to have a shower ?”

Pinkie smiled “Of course.”

As we began washing each other’s bodies, I asked “Do you remember our plans with Ember.”

Pinkie smiled as she began washing my chest “Yeah, I, wait what is that?”

I sighed “Oh you mean the scar across my chest. It’s been there since I was born, I have no clue how it got there. Nopony back home could figure it out.”

I grimaced as she touched it, it still hurts after contact. Pinkie frowned “You know it sparks with green energy every time it is touched.”

I frowned “Green magic but where did it come from this doesn’t make any sense.”

Pinkie frowned “Well, it’s there, still we can figure this out together I have a feeling this is important to whom you are.”

I said “That sounds ominous.”

Pinkie smiled “Let’s ditch this topic for now and let’s figure out what we are going to do with Ember.”

I smiled “Well maybe we could get her to try on some clothes or play some video games.”

Pinkie smiled “Yeah but we will first meet go to Sugarcube Corner for some food.”

I nodded and then after we finished cleaning each other we sat on a couch and began watching movies.

Pinkie shouted “Go Mr Party get those teenagers.” I smiled as I wrapped an arm around my girlfriend this truly is wonderful, a nice break from the problems that will inevitably turn up. I felt sleep overtake me through the night.

Meanwhile

A woman was flying outside; she had a hard coating of chitin instead of skin, her bug like wings buzzed. She smiled with a toothy grin; the love just emanating from them is intoxicating. She flew off into the distance with a smile; her hive will not starve tonight.
