I jumped and kicked the robot’s arm off. I said “This is ridiculous, where are the others?

Applejack asked “Sonata, they are elsewhere fighting other robots, didn’t you notice the empty hallways?”

I said “No I didn’t.”

Applejack was about to reply when several robots poured in, I flew close and kicked one in the jaw, I turned to see Applejack fire 2 blasts at the others. I asked as I fought “How long have you been fighting these things?”

Applejack replied “2 hours ago, Ah was setting up things at the school for this year’s Fall Formal.”

I asked “How are you not exhausted?”

Applejack replied “Ah don’t know ever since Ah started using magic this way Ah have never run out of juice, Ah feel like Ah could do this for a month and not feel winded.” I thought that was weird. I kicked another robot into a wall, we kept fighting as the hours past I started to feel my energy fade. I laid down on the ground as Applejack kept going. I watched as several larger robots surround her, then a glowing table knocked one over, before a set of streamers hit another and then a huge spell blasted the 3 of them into dust.

I watched as Sunset, Pinkie and Twilight dashed in. Applejack smiled as she hugged Twilight “It’s good to see you, Sugarcube.” I watched as they kissed, I wish I had that.

A call came over the school’s intercom “The school will be closed for several months while we undergo repairs.”

I headed home and opened the door, Aria was sitting on a chair, not moving. I sighed as she sat there. I could see the tears on the ground. Adagio exited her room, she asked “You okay?”

I said staring at Aria “Minor incident, robots attacked the school. They were after Applejack for some reason.”

Adagio shouted “Are you kidding me, I should get you checked for injuries.”

I said forcefully “I’m fine, what I’m worried about is Aria!”

Adagio said “She’ll be fine, you needed to say that, she is going to get a stern talking to from me.”

I said “No, me and Aria need to talk this out.” I walked over and patted Aria on the shoulder.

Aria asked crying “Did I really hurt you that badly?”

I replied “Yes but I shouldn’t have yelled at you.”

Aria cried “I treated you like dirt, I don’t deserve forgiveness.”

I give her a hug and told her “Everyone deserves forgiveness, Sunset taught us that. I am willing to forgive and move forward, are you?” She nodded as tears flooded out of her eyes.

I said “We have a lot of work to do, this positive energy is much stronger than the negative energy we used to feed off. I’d say we should perform together soon, maybe we can perform at the school and bring some joy.”

Aria smiled as she said “I’d like that.” I heard a knock at the door, I opened it only to see a pink blur rush past me.

I recognised the pink girl as Pinkie when I recovered from the rush. Rainbow Dash followed her in and sighed “Pinkie what’s the rush, I’m sure Sonata is busy.”

I said “I actually mean to ask you 2 over to help me test this game’s multiplayer.”

Rainbow Dash shouted “Master Shooter 2, that isn’t scheduled to be released for another year.”

Pinkie said “I told you Dashie, you’d want to come.” Rainbow Dash smiled as she grabbed a controller. As I played with the pair and wrote down notes, I heard shouting for behind us.

I said “Rainbow, Pinkie I’ll be right back.” I went up the stairs only to see Adagio shouting at Aria. I snapped “What the hell, Adagio, is this all we are a bunch of arguing idiots? I am starting to think Sunset is wrong in giving us a second chance if all we do is argue like 3 seagulls fighting over the last chip.” I walked back down the stairs and continuing my testing with Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie. I just hope those 2 can be more civil.
