I was busy typing my report, I looked down at my gem. I’m glad to be whole again, my life is back on track. I know after one performance all this work is going to be so much easier. I sighed, I have been taking my job seriously, I am the only one bringing in money, Adagio's too injured to work and Aria is just lazy. I just finished the last of my report and sent it off.

Adagio came down the stairs and stared at me. I knew I was a wreck but I felt a little better with my gem. I asked “Would it be okay if I go and perform by myself?”

Adagio said with a smile “Sure, you need it.” I grab my coat and headed out with a smile. I arrived at a small bar, I entered and looked for the manager. When I found him I asked nervously “May I sing here.”

The manager said “Sure, the stage has been unused for months.” I got up onto the stage and began to sing.

Here I stand

I felt the positive energy rising in the air, I slowly felt the magic.

A breeder of hate

I was shrouded in darkness

Banished from my home

My power destroyed by light

The magic grew stronger as I continued to sing.

I wandered lost and hurt

I have been in great pain

I have cried my tears

I now shine with my friends beside me

I felt my gem to glowing with magic, I felt light shining from within

Here I stand

No longer a creature of hate,

I will bring joy to all

I seek acceptance for my past

I seek forgiveness for my crimes

I felt wings spout out of my back and ears out of my head. I smiled as I flew into the air on my wings.

May our light shine bright

I soar into the night

To bring joy to all

A shining star

I landed as I stopped singing, all the exhaustion of the past weeks had faded away. I saw the manger run up to me, he asked “That was amazing, do you mind coming back next week?”

I smiled as I said “Sure, this is great.” I can’t wait to show Adagio. I ran home and realised everyone was asleep, with my report done on the single player I could get some sleep. As I got ready I realised my gem had disappeared but I could still feel it as if it has somehow became part of my body.

I got up early to get some breakfast ready, I noticed my wings and ears were still there. As I was in the middle of eating Adagio got up and asked “You were gone for a while last night.”

I said excitedly “Adagio, look at these.” Adagio turned around and gasped at my wings and ears.

She asked with a slight smile “Do you feel better?”

I said “Of course I do although I could really use some tacos.” Adagio laughed for the first time in centuries.

She said smiling “I’m glad you' back to normal, Sonata I was so worried about you.”

I said “Yes I am.” I then realised I forgot something and shouted “Oh s**t I have to invite Rainbow and Pinkie over to test the multiplayer tonight!”

Adagio laughed “They will be at the school today, you can tell them there.”

Aria stormed down the stairs and growled “What is all the commotion?” She then saw my wings and snarled “You performed without us, how dare you!”

Adagio said “I gave her permission, she asked me before I went to bed.”

Aria shouted “You what?! I’m sick of this Adagio, you have always been the leader but I never appreciated your decision making, you were always too ignorant of Sonata’s foolishness, you never made an effort to correct it.”

I felt rage boiling over I shouted “OH YEAH, ARIA, WELL I’M SICK OF YOUR BULLS**T! ALL YOU’VE DONE IS BELITTLE ME, I’M NOT PERFECT BUT I’M NOT TRYING TO BE! YES I MAY BE A LITTLE TOO SILLY AT TIMES BUT WHEN PUSH COMES TO SHOVE I CAN BE SERIOUS! ALL YOU SEEM IS TO BE GOOD AT IS BELITTLING ME! I HAVE BEEN WORKING MY ASS OFF AND ALL YOU HAVE DONE IS SIT AROUND THE HOUSE AND COMPLAIN LIKE A WHINY B**CH! I HAVE PUT UP WITH 1000 YEARS OF YOUR S**T, I’VE HAD ENOUGH!” I gathered my school gear and left leaving my 2 stunned siblings in the living room.

I arrived at school, angry at what happened. I’m sick of Aria, all she ever did is put me down, I’ve tried to leave it be but she has gotten no better, even when I was at my darkest, she didn't care. All I was is her stupid little sister. I was angry and frustrated, Then I heard an explosion I ran to the scene as fast I could. I saw Applejack in the hands of a giant robot.
