In a barely lit room, a sky blue earth pony filly with a long blue mane and matching eyes in the corner near the sink as she sits in a fetal position, crying because she had to spend another day in this prison. She looked up to examine the room. The room has padded walls and the only thing that was there is a bed. She pointed her finger at the bed as she uses her mind to lift it. She sets the bed down gently and as she looked back down, she could barely stay awake. The filly crawled onto her bed and fell asleep.

Suddenly, a thud startled the young filly awake, and she took a deep breath. She heard a clicking sound from the door, and she became frightened. Who could it be? A guard? A nurse? Once the door opened, her fears were confirmed as the nurse entered. At least, she thinks it is. Suddenly, she began to turn into a red unicorn mare with orange hair and matching eyes as she was wearing a white shirt and pants.

"Thank Celestia", she said. "You're awake." The filly looked at her with a confused look on her face. Is she finally going to escape this place?

“Come on, kid”, she said. “We have to leave now!” The filly nodded as got up from her bed. They both left the room and headed down the hallway, where there were two security guards. The unicorn turned back to the nurse from before.

“Stay here”, she said as she approaches the guards. The filly nodded and stayed behind. The guard noticed the familiar face as she approaches him. The mare whispered into her miniature earpiece. "Now."

"Hey Dew Drop", he said. "Shouldn't you be in the lab or something?" The teal mare looked at the guard with a worried on her face.

"I know", she said. "But I think that somepony has gone haywire down at section B."

Both guards heard a sudden loud banging and a scream coming from down the hallway.

"What", one of them said. "Why didn't you say so? Let's go!"

The guards left their post and the mare turned to the little filly.

"You can come out now", she said as she shifted back to her original form. The two ponies ran as the security guards were distracted. Suddenly, the alarms went off.

"Uh... Scarlet", said a male voice. Scarlet reached for her speaker device.

"What is it, Glitch", she said in an annoyed tone.

"One of the guards have found the nurse's body", Glitch said, "And those two guards have captured Onyx. You guys have to hurry now!"

"But what about you guys", Scarlet said in a concerned tone.

"Don't worry about us", Glitch said. "Just get out of here now before it's too late! Hey! Wait..what are you doing?!"

Suddenly, the speaker went into static.

The door opened as it made a clicking sound and Scarlet smiled with joy. "Let's go, kid!"

The filly nodded as they both ran through the door to a secret passageway. Scarlet turned back to close the door and enter the code that will close the door and keep it locked.

"Done", she said as she finishes typing the code. The door locked itself and Scarlet smiled at the filly. "This is it. No turning back!"

Scarlet and the filly ran as far as they could. The filly looked up at her savior and was curious about what to do next.

Scarlet looked down at her. "If you have a question, ask away. We got plenty of time now."

"Where are we going now", the filly asked.

Scarlet smiled. "We're going to Canterlot. It's one of the busiest places in Equestria. There is no way that they'll find us there."

The filly looks at the mare in confusion. "Are you sure?"

The mare gave her a reassuring look. "I'm sure of it."

It has been two hours since the two ponies escaped, and they have yet to find the door to Canterlot. They are getting exhausted, especially the little filly.

"Come on", Scarlet said. "There has to be some civilization somewhere."

Suddenly, they heard chattering, loud music and the hovering of some sort of vehicle.

"We're here", Scarlet said. "Now, all we have to do is to find the door that leads to the local park."

Scarlet searched and searched until she finds what she was looking for.

"Yes", she said. "This is it. We're finally here."

Scarlet knocked on the door.

"Who's there?"

"Uh...hello?"

"Who are you?"

"My name is Scarlet Gem and my partner here is...well, I don't know her name yet, but we both just escaped the facility and I heard that you are who can let us in."

"Escaped from the facility, huh? How can I be sure?"

"I've been taken from my home eight years ago, and she has been taken about two years ago."

"Sweet Luna! You're the filly who has been taken from her family in Fillydelphia! Hold on a minute!"

The pony behind the voice quickly unlocked the door and when the door opened, it revealed a green middle-aged stallion earth pony with dark green mane and tail and teal eyes. He has stubble on his chin, and he was wearing a groundskeeper uniform.

"Come on in", he said. After the two ponies entered through the door, the stallion peeked out of the door to see if anyone was following them.

"Alright", he said. "The coast is clear."

As the two ponies entered, the place they're in looked like an old house with posters of Princess Luna and various events that the park was holding, a desk with a desk lamp, and a closet and a shotgun, in case of an emergency. The filly turned around to the stallion placing a large poster over the door. The stallion turned back with a smile on his face.

"Who are you", she asked.

"You can call me Seven", he said. "That's my nickname. My real name is not important."

"O-o-okay", the filly said as she smiled.

"So do you have anything for us to wear other than these", Scarlet asked.

"Of course", Seven said as he searched the closet. "I think I have some clothes in here for both of you."

Seven showed the two girls a pair of outfits. For Scarlet, an orange t-shirt, blue jeans, a matching jean jacket, and white tennis shoes and for the filly, a white blouse, dark blue overall dress, white socks and matching dark blue Mary Jane's.

"That'll work", Scarlet said as she gave a light chuckle.

Seven handed the clothes to Scarlet and the filly and smiled.

"Alright", he said as he is about to leave his office. "I'll leave you two to change your clothes."

The stallion left and closed the door. As he looked outside, Canterlot was filled with nightlife as the lights are shining bright, ponies are having conversations and vehicles are flying by. Seven took out his smartphone and dialed the only pony he could call.

"Hello", said the voice of a mare.

"Hey, your majesty", said Seven. "Two ponies managed to escape the facility tonight."

"Who could that be?"

"A mare named Scarlet Gem and a filly who looks like Azure Orchid", the stallion said.

"Good", the voice said. "I'll call the team to pick them for examination."

"Okay", Seven said. "Thank you, Princess Luna."

"You're welcome", said Princess Luna. "Stay safe out there."

"Yes, your highness."

Seven hung up the phone and continued to look at the city lights.

'Welcome to your new life, girls', he thought as he took out a cigarette and takes a smoke.

Well, I'm back to writing MLP fanfics. This time around, I'm not expecting it to be the greatest creation ever but this is premise I always wanted to do. Feel free to tell me your thoughts and critiques about it.
