This fic is a self insert so not many of you may like but oh well. This fic will show you all my true self and my name. Exciting isn't it?
Hope you all enjoy this since most of you hated my first one. I, however, am making a rewrite of that fic with a whole lot less grammar mistakes and writing itself.

Ch. 1 – Death is the start

Ah, there nothing more relaxing than listening to bad meets evil’s lighters on your laptop while watching MLP: FIM. Ever since the summer started that’s all I’ve been doing all day; listen to music and watching ponies. My parents tell me to go outside, catch some fresh air but PONIES. They don’t know it but I’m a brony.
The only people that know I’m a brony are my younger sister and my older brother, and even they love the show too. My brother doesn’t give a fuck about people finding out his a brony and my sister is young so she can without being judged. I, however, am very worried about what other might think of me, so I don’t tell them my secret.
I was in my bedroom, lying in my bed, watching the “read it and weep” episode of MLP on my laptop that was on my lap (See what I did there?) while listening to my favorite rapper. And Royce da 5´9, he’s pretty good but ems better. I watch the show on my laptop because of 2 things; one, I don’t have cable and two, I live in Portugal, therefore, we don’t get the hub channel.
I don’t know how I found out about rap but I don’t care. I hope one day I get to rap just like many rappers that I know but I’m too young to do it. So, I’m basically stuck here, in my house, with nothing to do besides the internet and watching TV. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOring.
My sister is at my aunt’s house, my brother’s working at… I don’t even know, my parents are working too and my friends don’t live near my place. So my choices are: keep surfing the web for ponies or go outside. For once I’m gonna go with the second option. Taking the laptop off of my lap and turning it off, I got up from my bed and made my way out of my bedroom, grabbing my Iphone, earphones, wallet, (Which contained my money, ID and a subway ticket) and a black hooded jacket on my way to the door .
I live on the second floor of a 3 story building, so once I made it out the door I walked downstairs to the gate (or whatever the hell that was but I’ll call it a gate), opened it, walked outside and closed the gate behind me.
Now, I’m not so much as an ‘outside man’ but I do enjoy a good walk(ing on sunshine) once in a while. The road split in to two; one going to the left which there was a park, more buildings and a café on the other side and the other going up and to the right that goes downhill and so and so. I decided to take the route on the left to get to the café to meet some new people and maybe drink some coffee.
As I was walking I couldn’t help but notice a black SUV that passed by me at high speed, irritating me. Some people just do this for fun until someone looses a life. Then they’ll pray for another life like in the video games. That reminds me. Note to self; buy ‘Sleeping dogs’.
Nearing the café the black SUV passed by me again but this time it seemed a little slower but not enough so I could see the driver. Now, confused and annoyed, I quickened my pace towards the place. I took a right on the corner to reach my destination.
As I neared the café I could hear the sounds of a speeding car getting closer. I turned to my right and I saw the (you guessed it. No? Really? Wow…) SUV from before coming right at me. I saw the person who was driving it. It was a blond woman with long hair and a grey business suit and matching pants.
I should have paid attention to what I was doing because if I moved I would’ve missed the car. The SUV had hit me in the stomach and, instead of going over the car and crash on to the road, it smashed into the nearby building.
I saw the people of the café come out to see what that noise was and as soon as they saw me, some of them gasped while others got their phones to call an ambulance. One of them, a guy I think, I couldn’t see much because my vision was blurred, he ran up to me and said something that I didn’t understand.
The pain that I felt was excruciating. I wanted to scream but when I did, the pain got worse. Blood started to come flowing out of my mouth as consciousness took me into a deep sleep.
The last thing I saw was the woman inside the car with a smile. Not an evil smile, but a smile that said ‘Don’t worry, you’ll be okay’.
Fuck you, lady.
You know how they say that if you die, you’ll see a light at the end of the tunnel? Well, fuck the tunnel and the light ‘cause all I see is white. White everywhere (racist much?). I was currently laid down on the floor when I finally woke up. At first my vision was blurred and I started feeling like my head had been hit by a car, which kind of was, then when I could see better I saw that was in, what looked like, purgatory. Now, I’m not one to freak out when I die and appear in someplace else but…
“WHERE THE FUCK AM I?!” I yelled to nowhere and nobody in particular. This place was starting to creep me out. I stood up and started running to… to umm… uh… I DON’T EVEN KNOW. Let’s just say I was walking in that direction.
I checked my phone that was still in my pocket and saw the time; 15:30. I put it in back in my pocket and continued my way through this place, my running turning into a walk.
The scenery around me didn’t change while I was passing through. It was just nothing here, nothing there and an impossibly invisible platform under my feet that kept me from falling. Seriously, it’s like the floor was an endless abyss to which I could die… again.
“Where am I?” I asked to the nothingness that surrounded me.
“You are in purgatory.” Said someone behind me that stopped me on my tracks. I turned towards the voice and I saw a woman with long blond hair and a grey business- WAIT A MINUTE!
“It’s you.” I said with anger rising in my voice. “You’re the bitch that killed me.”
“Yes, I am, and I am very sorry for that but it had to be done.” She said in a calming tone that aggravated me more.
“You’re sorry? You killed me and you say you’re sorry? Am I supposed to believe that?” I said while walking towards her. I have a feeling that I’m not gonna like this bitch.
When I was a few feet away from her I stopped. Not because I wanted but, like, I was being forced to stop. I tried to move but I just couldn’t. I looked at her and she had a hand up with a yellow aura around it.
“Now, before you decide to beat me up, will you listen to what I have to say?” She said in a kind voice and with a gentle smile. That calmed me down, for some reason.
I was still unsure whether I should trust this woman that killed me, but nonetheless. “Okay, I’ll listen.” As I said that, she released her hold on me. How did she do that?
“Good.” A chair appeared behind her and she sat down on it. “Want to take a seat?” She motioned behind me. Just like her, there was a chair waiting for me to sit down. I did as she told me to. “I believe introductions are in order, yes?” I nodded. “My name is Megan, but you can call me Meg.”
I guess I can tell her my name, since she did so herself. “Well, I’m-“
“Gonçalo, I know.” Maybe not.
“How did you know?” I am starting to get really scared. Who am I kidding? I was already really scared.
“This may make me sound like a stalker, but I’ve been watching you for years.”
… woah. “What do you mean?”
“I will answer that question, but first answer me this; do I look familiar to you?”
Why is she asking me if she looks familiar? Well, let me see. The blond hair, blue eyes, suit, and pants and, by looks of it, she’s in her 30’s or 40’s… Mom? My mom doesn’t have blue eyes but that’s as close as I can get. “No, you don’t look familiar. Why, are you family member, if you are, I’m sorry but I always forget about some family members that I rarely see.” I smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of my neck with my hand.
She giggled. “No, I’m not a family member. I speak English, didn’t you notice that?” She’s right.
I facepalmed at my own stupidity. Is facepalmed even a word? Oh well, it just became a word. She giggled some more.
“I’ll give you a hint; a friend of yours told you about me.”
I looked at her in curiosity. “Who?”
“His name is Graham. You may know him as Dragon Emperor Geon.”
DEG? That guy told me about her? The only girl, that I can remember him telling me about, was the first human in equestria. And even that…
Realization hit me straight across the face. “You’re that Megan?”
“Quite.”
“But equestria isn’t real.”
“Actually, equestria is real. You just see it as a cartoon.”
She didn’t just…“So you know I’m a brony, huh?”
“Yes, I did tell you I’ve been watching you haven’t I?”
Why do I believe everything she says? Do I really want the show to be real? I did die and come here out of nowhere, that’s weird already, so I might as well should. “Yeah, you did. But I’ve got so many questions now.”
Meg smiled. “I will be happy to answer them.”
Okay then, let’s get started. “First question; where are we?”
“We are in purgatory. You died and this is where you go when you die.” Meg said in a matter of factly.
Wait. ”Aren’t I suppose to be in heaven or hell?”
“This is the first place the souls of the dead go. Then the Lord makes a decision whether the soul goes to heaven or hell.” Okay, I should have known that but, apparently, I’m an idiot.
“My next question is, and I’m sorry if you may be offended, why do you look older?”
“I’m not offended and it’s simple, really. The show that you watch is generation 4 while I am from generation 1. The time difference between those two is of 30 years, just like generation 2 is 20 years apart, G3 is 10 years and G3.5 is 5 years.”
“Makes sense. How long have you been there?”
“I have been there until the end of generation 1, when I was 15 till the age 25 years old.”
Let me do my math here. If G1 was 30 years ago and she was 15 when she got in Equestria, then she’s 45 or so now. Funny thing is, I hate math but I’m good at it. “Why aren’t you there anymore? What happened?”
Meg looked disheartened with that question. “Humanity happened.” She said, her voice ice cold.
I started to worry. “What do you mean by that? Were there any other humans?”
She looked at me. “For you to know that, I have to tell you the true story of equestria.” My worries and fears rose when she said that. Nonetheless, I nodded. “It all started when I was on my farm, brushing my horse’s mane in the barn. I can’t remember her name though; age can really get to you, huh?” She laughed as did I. “I was just relaxing when a storm came brewing in the skies. I thought it was weird because the weather schedule didn’t predict a storm that day. I thought they made a mistake but then I saw a horse coming down from the clouds and into my well. I panicked and ran to it and pulled the rope up. What I saw shocked me. It was not a horse, it was a Pegasus. Not only that but also a talking Pegasus. Imagine my surprise.
Her name was Firefly. She was so full of pride but she seemed like a good pony. She told me that, back in her town, ponies were kidnapped by Stratedons (if I got it wrong, say so in the comments) and I said I would love help. We flew there and, let me tell you, it was the most beautiful place I have ever seen. Such peace, harmony and beauty and it was in trouble.” I nodded and let her continue the story. “I couldn’t just leave them to suffer, so the ponies and I decided to rescue the imprisoned ones. It was hard and it took us a lot of time but, in the end, we did it.”
“What happened after that?” This sounded like generation 1 crap but I actually liked where this was going.
“Afterwards, King Leonidas was so happy that her ponies were safe she granted me the ability to stay in equestria.” Meg’s smile was full a joy. “I couldn’t be happier. To live amongst the most peaceful and most cute people in the universe. It was all like a dream come true.” That’s cliché. “It was like that for months and in that time, I had learned how to use magic, travel through dimensions, which was a struggle at first but I got used to it and also give other ponies powers to control the elements of nature.
Then one day, Celestia made a choice to bring more humans into equestria. I was ecstatic. More of my kind in this world? It was just too good to be true. At first, when they came, everything was normal, peace, quiet and the occasional adventure,” At this her smile faded and turned into a frown. “but 5 years after they arrived, they started acting like they owned the world.
They started getting greedy and violent; some of them killed others just for fun. Some of them even threatened me to give them magic. I was so scared that I just gave it to them. Sure, the ones who committed crimes went to prison but they either waited till they got out to keep doing what they were doing or they would break out of jail. They did horrible things to them all because they were sick and tired of these ponies. Why? I kept asking myself that as I saw my kind performing unforgivable crimes in front of my eyes. I cried every minute of every day whenever that happened. That was only the majority of us; the ones who didn’t were too scared to do anything.
Another 5 years passed when the most horrible thing happened. One of the humans, who was my boyfriend, killed King Leonidas. Queen Sun Ray had enough of us and teleported us back to earth where we just lived our lives like in equestria; filled with sins. I tried to contact her to tell her how much I was sorry for my kind did but I found it to be impossible. I just let it be.”
Tear started rolling out of her eyes as I let all the information process inside me. They killed equestria’s king. Bastards should be punished. Afterwards, I looked at her with a sad expression and said in the kindest voice I could. “I’m so sorry for what humanity has done to that world. Trust me, if I was there, I would instantly kick their asses for what they did.”
Meg looked at me and smiled. “Thank you, but I wasn’t finished.”
“You weren’t?” I asked, unsure of what was going to happen next.
“After we returned to earth, I had to take away the magic from the other humans so they couldn’t cause more damage than they already did. Let’s just say that, even if they had magic or not, they still did the same things. I thought they were going to be like that forever.
It wasn’t until 10 years later that all of them had come to me, I thought they were gonna beg for the powers that I gave them before, but when I saw them, they looked like they had been crying recently and I could hear from what they were saying that they were full of regret. It took them 10 years to see the consequences to their actions, but they finally admitted it. Me, apparently, being the group leader decided to have a reunion to decide what we would do next.”
I nodded expectantly, almost certainly knowing that my part was coming.
“In said reunion, we all came to a conclusion. To send our message of forgiveness to equestria we needed the most peaceful and the friendliest person in the world to help us.”
Oh, I get it. “And that would be me?” Meg smiled and nodded. “But, there are millions of other people in the world who, possibly, are way friendlier than me.”
“Well, we also needed someone who knew about the show so he or she could get an idea of what he or she is getting into.”
”What do you mean ‘get an idea’?” I asked curiously. Maybe some of the HIE fics that I read are right.
She sighed. “Equestria isn’t all rainbows and sunshine. Sure, it is better than Earth in many ways but it is far from being heaven.”
Oh boy, this is going to be hard. “Why did I have to die to go there?”
“If I used a teleportation spell when you were on earth and still alive, there would be a great chance that your soul would be gone forever.”
Well, I’m in deep shit. Humans were in equestrian before, that means I have little to nothing to explain to them about us, humans became what they are on earth (at least some of them. Still cliché though), The Queen got them back to earth, they watch me and kill to get there for a special mission. Seems like a normal day for me. Not to mention that I know who the king and queen are now.
One question still nagged me. “Why couldn’t you wait until I died on my own to send me there?”
“I’m very sorry about that but when we find the messenger we need to act fast. For every second we waste here doing nothing, the more things happen in equestria that we don’t know.”
“There isn’t anything I can do here, is there?” I said in a calm tone. “My only option here is yes, am I right?”
“That is correct, I’m sorry but sacrifices need to be done for we to start we this.”
I laughed. That does sound like me. “Yeah, one last question;” I took a deep breath, hoping that the floodgates don’t open. “Can I see my family, one last time before I go?”
She smiled. “As you wish.” She raised her left hand that was glowing the same yellow color, before a screen appeared beside her. It looked like the 40 inch flat screen TV I had in my room. The screen showed the car accident that had killed me, a crowd that had gathered around the scene, the news and… my family. My mom was crying on my dad’s shoulder as he held her in his arms. He had tear streaks on his cheeks, he had been crying. Near them were my brother who was kneeled down and hugging my little sister and comforting her. This scenery brought tears to my eyes as I covered my face with my hands and sobbed.
I felt a hand on my shoulder that made me look up. Megan looked down at me with a kind expression. When I finally calmed down she asked “Again, I am sorry for doing this to you. It was our only option.”
I wiped my tears with my hands and stood up from the chair. “I’ve seen enough, thank you.” Meg nodded as she made the screen disappear. “Ok, I’m ready to go.”
“Good, now” She walked a few feet away from me. “before you go, you must know 2 things; you will be seen as their enemies.”
I briefly interrupted her with a smile. “I know how to turn that around.”
She smiled. “Good luck with that. The second thing you need to know is, because of the magic that the other world possesses and the fact that this world doesn’t have any magic I have no idea of what may happen to you when you get there.” This scared me a little. “You don’t need to worry though; it can’t possibly be that bad.” How the hell do you know that. Are you a wizard?
I sighed, already making my decision. “Alright,” I puffed my chest out while closing my eyes “I’m ready.”
Afterwards, I felt something in my entire body that made me fall down to the ‘floor’, unconscious. Equestria, prepare your anus…
… That’s not right.

Chapter 2 – Introductions first...
I woke up, face down, from one of my famous ‘I don’t want to get up but I have to. God damn it, this sucks’ sleeps. I opened my eyes to see… nothing. But this time, the nothing was black. Somewhat of a good change. I used my arms to lift myself up from the floor and stand up. I arched my back enough to hear a satisfying crack. I sighed in pleasure (drugs jokes are not funny. Mary Juana taught me that.). Looking around, I was wrong at first when I said the room was black; it was black on my left and white on my right. I was standing in the middle of the two.
Where the hell am I now? The last thing I remember, before all of this, was unconsciousness. And before that Meg was casting some kind of world travel spell. Also, she said that when I got there there were going to be changes in me. Did I turn into a pony? Now I’m getting excited. I looked down at my body to see I was still human. Oh man. At least my clothes are alright.
No time to worry that right now, I need to know where I am? *Le gasp*is this Equestria? I hope not. I expected this to be more colorful. And not to mention more populated.
Ok, first things first. “Where am I?” I asked nobody in particular again. I have to stop talking to myself. This is not healthy.
“We are in your mind, master.” Said a heavenly voice behind me. That’s good to know.
I turned to the source of the voice and I saw myself. I’m not even kidding here. The person that was talking to me was myself (That’s me and myself but where’s I?), expect he was white. Literally and completely, white. It was like looking at an angel with amputated wings.
A very bright angel with amputated wings.
Too bright, damn it.
I put my right arm in front of my eyes to cover some of the light. “Dude, I think you should take fewer showers. Seriously, you could blind Chuck Norris with your ‘shine’.” I said half jokingly, half serious.
He laughed. “Master, you are so funny.” He said while laughing some more. What the… is he calling me master? “How about now?”
I lowered my arm down to look at him while thinking what he was talking about. He was no longer shiny. I could finally see his features; a hair style that was a combination of a short Mohawk and calm, a white hooded jacket, a white T-shirt underneath, white jeans and white ‘Chicago bulls’ sneakers. The thing that stuck out in him was his eyes; Dark blue, darker than Rarity’s. Somehow, I felt at peace with this guy. If we get to know each other some more, maybe we can try crack together and regret doing it later while we’re partying with his sister.
“That’s good, I guess.” I said, confused as to why in the name of god’s toenails does this guy look like me. “Who are you?”
“Ah yes, that question I can’t answer you,” He said while scratching the back of his head. “for I have no name.”
Is he being serious? “Why?”
“Well master-“
“Ok, stop right there.” I cut him off. “Why are you calling me master?”
“Because you are my master.” With that statement he smiled while I was staring at him in confusion. “What’s wrong?”
“What are you?!” I blurted out. Why did I just ask that question instead why am I a master? I’m such an idiot.
He was slightly taken back with that, but quickly gained his composure. “That one I can answer; I am the manifestation of all your positive feelings.”
“You’re all my feelings in one?” I asked in shock.
“No, no, master.” He said while shaking his head. “Just your positive feelings.” He emphasized the word ‘positive’.
“Oh. Then where is the manifestation of my negative feelings?”
“He’s right behind you.” He said while pointing at someone behind me. I turned around to a pants shitting, piss making, nightmare dreaming scene that made me scream and fall on my ass.
The person I was facing was completely opposite to the other one; for once he was completely black, even his clothes, he had the bloodiest red eyes that showed an angry expression and looked like a demon from hell. Behind him were black tentacles that and some kind of black liquid was coming out of each of them. Overall, it looked like Pigsaw and Slenderman had a kid, but Slenderman had an affair with other men and the kid’s real father was still unknown. Just because I’m scared doesn’t mean I can’t be funny. Yes, it does. Yes. It. Does
“Dear god, what the fuck are you?!” I half shouted in shock, surprise and fear.
The demon took a dead serious and evil tone. “Are you fucking kidding me?” What? He turned to the angel. “This guy is supposed to be our master?”
“By the looks of it, yes. He seems nice though.” Angel smiled while the demon grunted.
“This has got to be the worst excuse for a leader I have ever seen.” He said angrily while rubbing his temple with his index finger and thumb.
Hearing the word master so many times made me stand up. “WHY DO YOU TWO KEEP CALLING ME MASTER?!” I screamed in anger. “And don’t give me that ‘because you are my master’ bullshit.” I quickly added, looking particularly at the angel.
The angel decided to speak. “You are the one who controls us.”
“Therefore, you rule over us.” The demon continued. “Unfortunately.” He added.
I’m going to pretend I didn’t hear that last part. “So you were in here my whole life?”
“Yes, that is correct.”
“And ‘here’ is…?”
“Your mind.” Ok.
“And I’m not in Equestria?”
“You are. You’re just unconscious right now. Where, I don’t know though.” Shit.
“And you two don’t have names?”
The angel shrugged. “We’re just manifestation of your feelings. We were never named.”
Aw, poor guys. They have been in my mind for as long as I can remember and they were never named? I’m gonna change that. “I can name you two, if you want.”
“Really?”
“Please don’t.”
“Yeah. It’s the least I can do.” I began to think of names for them. Let’s see, a name is supposed to reflect ones personality, one of them is nice enough to take a bullet to the heart, and the other is a combination of every horror movie that I know. I got it!
I turned to the angel. “I’ll call you Heart,” then I turned to the demon. “And I’ll call you Shadow.”
Heart smiled joyfully. “Woooo, I love it. It fits too.” (Life is so much funnier when you have a dirty mind, isn’t it?)
Shadow pondered this, with a hand on his chin. “I like it. But don’t think this will change my thoughts about you.”
Meh, it was worth a try. Hey, didn’t Meg say that something was gonna happen to me when I got to Equestria? Maybe what happened to ME were these two guys. But I have a feeling that this is not all. There’s something more, I just know it.
“Master,” Heart interrupted my train of thought. “Don’t you think you should wake up now?”
I shook my head, coming back to reality. “What? Oh, yeah. But how am I gonna do that?”
Shadow walked towards me. “It’s easy.” He opened his palm and placed it on my face. At first I was confusion as to why he did that, but then I felt the same pressure like before; unconsciousness was taking me again.
As let the darkness take me Heart bid me a final ‘Farewell and good luck’.
That is not a good sign.

Chapter 3 - … escape later
You know that feeling you get when you wake up from one of the most peaceful rests you had, on a soft mattress and a warm and fluffy blanket wrapped around you? You do? Oh good, now shut up about it.
My consciousness came back to me, yet again. I was sprawled on the cold and rocky ground, facing the barely lit room’s ceiling. Coming to my senses, I stood up from the ground and looked around.
As I said before, the room was barely lit, but I could make out some features of it; two of the sickly green walls had long boards that were connected to the wall by 2 chains, on either ends. On my right, there was a bigger wall than the other two, but this one had a small rectangular shaped opening with small metal bars that were vertically placed on it. On the opposite side of it, was, not a wall like the rest, but the same metallic bars, but bigger and more of it. Oh, did I also mention that pool of, what I think is, piss near the wall? Yeah… not pretty.
So, apparently, I’m in a prison cell. At least I didn’t appear in the everfree forest. That would suck ass. I walked towards the bars and peeked out.
I looked to my left and I saw a long hallway with torches on the wall lighting it up. At the end of the hall was a door that seemed old looking. I wouldn’t know though, it’s too far. On my right, I saw an armored pony walking (trotting?) away from me. A stallion that, from my brony mind, looked like a Lunar knight. He had a silver coat and a tail with 2 different shades of purple. His helmet, which blocked his mane, was light purple that went down to his neck with a fin-like crest on top of it. Light purple armor protected his body, covering his back and cutie mark. On his hooves were metal ‘shoes’, the same color as his body armor.
“Hey buddy,” I called out to him. “Can you help me out here?” He stopped in his tracks and turned to me. His yellow eyes showed an angry expression that made me scared, but I hid it well, although the serpent irises didn’t help. His chest piece was in a heart-like shape with a blue eye in the middle, same serpent irises. He started trotting towards me.
“Thank you so much, I seriously don’t know why I’m here.” He was in front of me by now. ”Could you just unlock the gate pl-“ I failed to notice the guard raising his foreleg and striking me in the nose. This caused to fall down on my ass, hard, (ouchies!) and clutch my nose in pain. “Shouldn’t have asked.” I said, groaning afterwards.
“SILENCE HUMAN!” His voice echoed through the empty and barely lit hallways. “You are not to speak in such a way towards a Lunar Knight, do you understand?” This guy is starting to scare me shitless… oh, who am I kidding, he already scared me. I nodded. ”Good,” He turned and trotted away. “enjoy your last night in your cell. Tomorrow, your execution awaits.”
My eyes widened in fear and shock. An execution?! “Hey, wait.” I called out while getting up and running to the bars, ignoring the pain on my nose. “What do you mean execution?” He didn’t answer. “Hey!” Nothing. “HEY!” He opened the door and walked in, closing it behind him.
“Damn it.” I slumped back on my new seat. I sighed, putting my hands on my head, in frustration. Not five minutes I came into this new world and I am already going to die for existing.
You can’t die. Sounded a voice in my head.

I did so as I was told. I closed my eyes and focused on a sword appearing on my hand. At first, I thought it wasn’t working, but then I opened one eye to see a white leaf-shaped fire sword around my hand.
My eyed widened in shock at this. The flames didn’t seem to hurt my hand, but it looked like it could cut through steel. Speaking of steel, I need to get out of here.
I stood up and walked to the cell bars. I raised my blade hand to side and slashed through 4 of the bars like they were butter. I repeated the process on the lower part of it. Immediately after doing so, the bars dropped loudly to the ground. I cringed, not because of the sound, but because my cover could’ve been blown. DYNOMAIT.
I looked at both hallways to see if anyone (or pony, or whatever) had heard me. When I saw no one (or pony, WHATEVER) I sighed in relief. I began to make my way through the same hall the lunar knight went. As I trekked to my current location I looked at the other cells. Some of them had prison inmates sleeping – oh, its night, didn’t notice it- while others were empty.
Sucks to be them. Looking to where I was I saw that I had reached the door. I pushed it open a bit and took a look inside. It was dark, REALLY dark, and the only thing in it was a big table in my middle with something on top. Opening the door fully I slowly walked inside.
Reaching the table I looked at the object resting on it. “MY WALLET!” I shouted, almost instantly covering my mouth shut afterwards. Did anyone (or- you know what, fuck it) hear me? The door opposite to the table opened loudly, alerting me that someone was coming in.
I quickly ducked under the table as the sounds of hooves came closer to me before stopping. I started hyperventilated out of panic. I can’t go back to prison, they’ll rape me. Wait, I’m from a different species, maybe they won’t be into me, and maybe they’ll leave me alone. Forever alone.
After a moment of nothing but silence, the sounds of hooves came back. They grew quieter and quieter, before I couldn’t hear anything at all. Standing up, I grabbed my wallet, put it in my pocket and made a mad dash for the door the guard came in from. I closed the door behind me and searched for something to block it. Fortunately, I found a conveniently placed broom on my side, so I grabbed it and fit it on the door handles.
My non-existing plan is coming to fruition. I turned around to face my exit, but instead I found stairs that led up. Damn it, I hate stairs. Maybe I can find another way out.
“THE HUMAN HAS ESCAPED!” A voice shouted. Nope, stairs are good; I need to lose weight anyway.
I took the first step.
DID KING SOMBRA BUILD THIS FUCKING CASTLE??!!
That was one my thoughts as I took my final step. My other thought was ‘Donuts are goooood’ but that was irrelevant, although I do want one. Tired and out of breath, I prompted down near the wall to take a break.
Ok, now I hope that was the worst part, ‘cause I seriously don’t want the elements involved. I could almost hear the knight downstairs, banging on door and shouting for help.
Almost.
Minutes that seemed like hours passed by before I regain all my strength and energy to continue. I stood up and walking across the new, long hallway. Along the way, I took a look around me. The walls were definitely better than the ones before; they were a beautiful turquoise with paintings adorning them. The paintings looked like angry armored griffins charging with all kinds of weapons, from swords to crossbows, at something from afar. One in particular was in the back standing there, with a katana on his right hand and a small scythe on his left one.
I got to the other side and was finally near the door, but I didn’t open it, I was too focused on the painting. The rest of the wall was, basically, the same thing as before, but this time, it was with the ponies, and the one behind all of them was a dark blue alicorn with a pure white mane that, somehow shone in the sun.
Hold on…

Oh shit, it’s the griffin and pony war.
I was shocked by this. Many of the fictions told me about this, but I thought that’s what they were – fiction. I would have never that something like this would happen to those innocent beings. The thought of them going to war and killing each other makes me want to go to a corner and cry. Now, knowing this, I might want to be more careful next time I want to… where am I going with this?
I turned to the door and opened it. When I went inside, I noticed something – 2 things actually. The first thing was that I was in the throne room, meaning that I was close to escaping this god forsaking place, and that I didn’t know who that alicorn was. The show didn’t say anything about that pony.
Maybe it’s something that will appear later in the series.
Right now, I didn’t give two fucks if I made noise as I ran towards the gate. An alarm sounded throughout the castle causing me to quicken my pace. I forgot one of the most important things that I should’ve remembered – there isn’t any gate, there is a drawbridge.
I stopped right in front of it, not knowing what to do next. What am I gonna do now?

Suddenly, Shadow appeared in beside, one hand on the boards, eyes closed and completely focused. I was going to ask him what he was doing before his hand started glowing black. Now, my confusion turned to curiosity. It got bigger and bigger before the drawbridge got shot out of the castle, literally.

I stood there looking at where the bridge used to be, then to Shadow, then the nothing, then to Shadow. “How did you-“
“There’s no time for shit. ” He cut me off. He wrapped his arms around my back. “You say anything; I swear to god I’ll kill you. ” He said in anger. I just chuckled as we took flight.
What did I say? Take… FLIGHT???!!!!
I realized that we were on the air going a million miles per second through the night.
“Wow, you really suck at knowing speed. ”
Wait, you can read my mind?
“No, I just know what you always think. I am you, after all. ” Shadow said in a matter-of-fact.
Huh.
“Yeah. ”
Silence overcame the rest of our trip, me contemplating the luck I had on Canterlot castle, and Shadow doing his thing, whatever that is. The royal guard and the lunar knights must be already looking for me in town. I know now that it’s not safe to be in this place.
What am I going to do next?

Ch. 4 - Side effects
“Ok, first things first,” I announced, taking a deep breath afterwards. ”what the fuck?” was the million dollar question is this situation. Today is not turning out so great.
After Shadow dropped me off on the middle of the everfree forest, and getting into an angry argument about getting us to a safer place, which ended up nowhere, I walked aimlessly through the would-be jungle to a cave nearby that served as shelter for the rest of the night.
Now, with my two other halves on the ‘room’, we started discussing ways to scrape by, but I bet we’re not going to get anywhere. Shadow, who was leaning against the rocky wall, chimed in flatly. “What the fuck is that, when you woke up, you were in prison. ”
“No shit, Sherlock, but what I’m asking is, WHY was I in prison in the first place?” I half yelled out, due to being tired of the demon’s bullshit. “You can’t just wake up in a cell block, waiting to be publicly killed, smelling of monkey piss without any reason. Unless it’s a dream, then in that case-”
“He’s gonna do it. ” With great force, and no thought to what I was doing, I punched my jaw. Let’s just say that I always regret what I do. Cursing a thousand obscenities, I covered my flaming jaw in hopes to reduce the pain. “Idiot. ”
“Tha’ washn’t such a goo’ idea.” I admitted, my hand sloshing my words. This got Heart, who was sitting on a rock, to laugh. Bastard. Thank God I didn’t dislocate my jaw. After the pain subsided I changed the topic, but still rubbing the sore area. “Ok, let’s form a plan here,” I took a deep breath. “We’re in the everfree forest, a place riddled with manticores, timberwolves and a cockatrice, which to me are like Medusa, but not at all like Medusa. We have just escaped the Canterlot Castle, a lot of guards must be pissed, a lot of ponies might have seen us, and the Princesses are already imagining our heads off. The ones that are most likely to find us in this place are the Elements of Harmony, which I don’t think I can take. I suggest a flawless strategy that will leave me with as less injuries as possible before everyone gets their torches up our asses and their pitchforks through our eyes.” I regain my breath with a clap of the hands. ”Go.”
Shadow was once again the first to answer. “You could die. ”
I just stared at him with a look that shouted out ‘are you fucking kidding me?’
“No, I’m not kidding. ” He said, shaking his head.
I shook my head, getting to the matter at hand. “Anything else?”
“Well, ” Heart started. “we could try and find a way to get to meet everypony around Ponyville. Who knows? Maybe they don’t remember what humans have done and accept us as we are. ”
“That could be a good idea if it wasn’t for the fact that they could never forget such an unforgettable experience that changed their looks on everything about my species. More suggestions.”
“Dig a way out? ”
“We’re not in prison.”
“Walk out of this forest? ”
“It’s called the ‘Everfree forest’ for a reason that I don’t know. Probably should’ve read more fics when I was on earth.”
“I still think we should try and befriend them. ”
“I will say you were a loyal idiot on your grave – that is, if you CAN die.”
“Kill them? ”
“I shouldn’t take anymore opinions from you.”
After this wild game of non-accepting hacky sack we (Heart and I, Shadow can suck Tom’s dick. He’s over there.) came to a standstill as the two of us thought of more ways to safely escape this suppose-to-be cartoon hellhole, while Shadow nonchalantly looking around the cave, looking for something to entertain himself.
“Come on, Heart,” I said in desperation. ”We can’t just let this hand like that. If we stay in here doing absolutely nothing, there will be a bigger probability of the Princesses knowing where we went.” I rubbed my forehead to calm myself.
“Our actions are limited. We have to think about every detail so we can come up with the perfect plan to get us out of here. A plan so perfect so perfect that… I have no idea how to reach it. ” He laughed nervously, trying to lighten up my mood.
I drew a deep breath, making a plan out of the blue. “Okay… here’s what we are gonna do… I think we should-“
“-get out of this cave immediately. ” Shadow interrupted me. Although Shadow meant to sound frightened, his ‘I don’t give a shit’ demeanor didn’t make the emotion appear. Also he was looking towards the darker side of the cave, which made me curious as to what it is, and excited because I made a star wars reference.
“Didn’t I tell you not to- wait, why would I do that?” I asked as I looked to where he was looking. Let’s see, dark huge hole, seems like it could inhabit some huge animal, maybe a whole family if it’s big enough. What the hell is Shadow seeing anyways? It’s just a black hole with a giant bear head sticking out.
Oh…
“GET OUT OF THE WAY!” I yelled out as the ferocious constellation bear chased me down the cave onto to the light. The speed that the Ursa minor was going was telling me that I was either gonna get crushed, sliced, or tired from all the running.
I don’t want that. Especially that last one. It's scary.
I can see the end of the tunnel, my exhaustion starting to show as my running started to slow down. Though the adrenaline was still kicking in, that didn’t stop the immense burning pain from appearing in my legs. I knew I couldn’t stop or else I was bear chowder, but it hurts like hell.
The roars from the Ursa echoed throughout the cave causing my mind to panic while my legs were on the verge of collapsing. The huge steps that it took made the ground shake beneath my feet, testing my equilibrium. I should’ve called my other selves for help, but I couldn’t concentrate on anything besides the escape. They should’ve known I was in danger though.
As I finally reached the outside, I ran up to a tree and in behind it, panting heavily, in hopes of losing the giant monster. I sat down, clinging to my knees, praying to the supernatural non-existent paranormal entity that some call ‘God’ that my ass would be okay. Though, because of what I do I wouldn’t expect much from him. Hehehe…
The Ursa minor ran pass me without taking a look back. I went wide eyed at it as it took off into an unknown part of the forest. The show made it look smaller than it actually was. It was the size of a 5 story building that was being constructed. The farther it went, the more of his path he destroyed, and the less I could see him. That took a couple of minutes, because of its size and the trees that were… crushed.
I shivered.
“That was interesting, ” I turned back to the cave, seeing Shadow and Heart flying out. “it would be much better if something happened to you. Something bad, to be more specific. ” His usual asshole self was visible in his smirk. He loves me so much I just want to strangle him to death.
“Master, are you okay? Did that bear hurt you? ” The angel’s caring personality was evident in his speech as he looked at me, preoccupied about my current state. “Can you walk? ” I think I heard a… whimper. I think he should grow a pair.
“I’m alright, nothing too serious,” I got up, dusting off the dirt on my pants. “It’s not like I broke a bone or pissed myself.”
Shadow gazed down at my pants. And stared.
Then Heart stared.
And they both stared.
And stared.
Still staring.
I looked down at my pants.

“Maybe a little. I mean it’s not a lot, you know. I can clean this up in like, what, 5 minutes or something. It won’t even take that long- STOP LOOKING!” I suddenly yelled out, out of the fact that I have indeed pissed myself in fear.
The demon instantly looked the other way while snickering. Heart also adverted me, but blushing instead of having the case of the ‘giggles’. Still needs to grow a pair.
“Now that that’s taking care of why don’t we get out of here?” They both agreed so we started-
Hold on!
“Are you two flying?” I asked as I finally noticed the elephant in the room – forest – WHATEVER!
“Oh, this? ” He pointed to the empty space between his feet and the floor. ”We could do this ever since we came here. Why, does this surprise you or something? ”
“Oh no, finding out I could FLY THIS WHOLE DAMN TIME doesn’t surprise me in the least.” I grew more irritated with every passing word. “Why didn’t you tell I could do that before the damn oversized dog started chasing me?”
“Because you can’t. ” Heart simply said.

“I’m sorry, what?” Confused and more confused, it was all I could say.

Oh great, an additional ‘yet’. Long story comin’. “Still not following. What do you mean I can’t do it yet?”
“It’s complicated, ” Says the guy who seriously needs to grow a pair. I expected that phrase being told by some teenage girl. ”when you arrived, you started absorbing the magic revolving around this new world, and it was going just fine. But, because the cellblocks’ purpose is to not let the magic seep into the living beings it holds it interrupted the process you were going through. Normally, the absorption would start where it left off, but because it already made us, it stopped, not knowing it was only halfway done. ”
I looked at him in understanding. ”Go on.”
“The effects of the absorption are very powerful – much more powerful than previous years - and permanent, so you are going to have us for the rest of your life. Sorry about that. ” I waved a handed in dismissal. “When a new being comes to this world the energy is automatically established in said being, and, as it ages, its power grows in many ways, with the owner of its powerful feel nothing at all when it happens. In your case, the interruption of it is going to make this last part much, much harder for you. ”
“Why?”
He drew a big breath. “Shadow and I are going to have to establish our power within you, and that... ”
“… is not pretty. ” The demon finished for the angel.
I tried to process all the information into my brain, but I only got about half of it. Nevertheless, I agreed without a second thought. After all, how bad could it be?
The two manifestations faded into light smoke, both of them their respective colors. The smoke moved towards me, disappearing upon contact. I guess I gotta wait until something happens. Might as well go back to the cave, that chase left me tired.
I began my way into the cave. Everything seemed fine, but halfway something inside of me made me stop abruptly in my tracks.
I got confused by it. It wasn’t painful or anything, it was just my muscles that stopped moving for a second. “That was wei-“In an instant, a pain in my stomach quickly grew causing me to throw up violently, eyes shut tightly from the strain.
I opened my eyes to look at the ground facing me – it was blood. As I began to panic, my arms turned from nothing to numb, to an intense burn, like I was being branded in a slaughterhouse. I tried to move to cover my arms, but I found myself unable to do so from the feeling of being literally torn apart.
My head felt like it was being injected by thousands of needles filled with detergent. I felt sweat dripping down my forehead to the ground, mixing with the pool of blood – my ears hurt so much, yet I could hear the drops. My vision have never been fuzzier than what it is now, I couldn’t further than the ground.
The legs collapsed, making me rely on my knees for support, though it wouldn’t take long before I went face first to the floor. My whole body screamed for the pain to fade away, getting no answer whatsoever as the whole ‘magic restoration’ process continued, terror completely apparent on my face in my thoughts.
It wasn’t until I felt the cool night air that I realized my whole body was finally able to breathe. The only problem was that I was losing conscious, yet again.
Fuck me, right?

I know, I know, you're getting tired of updates on this story, and even after my huge hiatus, I have to give you this piece of crap.
I just want to let you all know that the reason I haven't made any progress is because my laptop kept shutting off everytime I turned it on. It's working now, and hopefully, it will stay that way today and in the future.

Ch. 5 - Morning rituals
As my eyes begrudgingly opened, the darkness that was once there was replaced with light and the view of a fairly large amount of books (I say ‘fairly’, but I actually mean ‘shit-load’) placed on various shelves across the walls. The shelves were bigger than I was; both vertically and horizontally.
Now, I don’t know about libraries – the only times I went to a library would be at school, and most of the time it’s because of the computers – but I saw a few children books on small shelves. This one, however, was filled with books, journals and other kinds of reading material on in – yes, IN – those shelves, yet there were little to no spaces empty. I bet if you were to take the books out and put him in a single stack, you would break the world records for ‘biggest pile of books’ and ‘biggest time waster’.
I decided to just shut my eyes and go back to sleep.
I’m not a morning person; I’ll say it right now. Every time I wake up on my weekend or on holidays, I would go back to sleep. Sleep is basically my girlfriend. I love her and she only loves me at night and in the morning. I didn’t care if I had already slept twice in a day, I didn’t care if I had a game waiting for me, I didn’t care if my dog grew boobs and started talking sensually, which would be weird because I don’t have a dog.
What also contributed for that action were my dreams. I have the weirdest and the most random dreams anyone ever had. Seriously, I once had a dream about a man in a devil outfit with a trident in his hands that he used to stab his victims and turn them into hamburgers. When he looked at me, I saw Jack Black’s face.
So I just stayed there, ready for unconsciousness to overcome every inch of my body and mind with its snoozing spell, determined to have another weird dream. I like those things. Maybe I’ll dream about that talking dog with huge knockers.
Too bad something prevented me from doing so.
[Growling]

Okay then.
With a not-so light fling of my sheet to the side, I sat on top of my couch, yawning. As I did that, I heard a rather loud thud and a book falling from behind. Telling myself it was just my imagination playing pranks, I stood up, blocking the light with my hands, and walked up the staircase into the bathroom to take a shower and possibly shave (I hope I don’t need it, I love my manliness).
When I mentioned shower, I immediately noticed the smell of dirt, blood and sweat, that made me flinch and cover my nose in disgust. Normally, I would have no problem with those smells individually, but put them together and you might have uncovered the secret of stink bombs. The CIA might be on my ass after this discovery, and if they find me, I’ll make sure my body will be ready.
Why does it sound like wood when I walk? I got to get new shoes or something; it is REALLY making a noise.
As I reached the bathroom, I mindlessly opened the door. Being in a state of ‘I hate mornings’ – grumpiness, I think is what they call it – I didn’t notice that someone was already taking a shower. I think it took notice of the shadow that I casted over the curtains, and it stopped what it was doing to look at me.
With a lazy wave of my hands, I pushed away fog that was covering my visions, using my other hand to take off my shirt and jacket. Throwing those two items on the ground, I opened the curtains of the tub to get in, only to find myself staring face to face with a purple pony.
No, wait… yep, that’s a horn. It’s a unicorn.
As we stared to each other eyes, I studied her features for a second; she had purple coat with a dark purple mane with a single pink highlight, with her tail matching her mane. On her flank adorned a six-pointed star with tiny sparkles around it. What really took me back were her eyes; they were HUGE… and purple. She was also naked and wet.
But I had to stop when a thought suddenly came to me that caused me to start paying attention to everything and snap me out of my current state.
I don’t have an upstairs bathroom.
She screamed-
Screeched.
-at the top of her lungs, which caused me to scream, which caused Shadow and Heart to scream. I turned back to run, but as I reached the stairs, a small light purple and green obstacle made me fall down the stairs, hitting every single step like a damn cartoon, yelling profanities as I did.
Reaching the final step, I became a scorpion; my legs were touching my shoulders, and I’m pretty sure I cracked a few teeth on my landing.
“I hate mornings…” I muffled out before I welcomed back unconsciousness.
