“Oh Princess Celestia!” Twilight said. “This has been the best vacation ever! Too bad that is already over.”
“Cheer up my star student. Now you get to be reunited with your best friends once more.” Celestia spoke in her royal tone.
“Yea, I guess you’re right. I’ll go pack my things!” She then trots back to her castle sweet. Once there Twilight starts to pack up her things with her magic. As all her personal belongings packed themselves in to her cases and bags she started to day dreaming of all the fun she was going to have with her friends. Although Twilight hasn’t seen her friend Rainbow dash in a few weeks was hoping that Dash would be back in Ponyville by the time she got there.
“Oh, Rainbow Dash” She thought. “So full of life she always sored though the air with such grace and left such a magnificent trail of colors behind her. What a talented pony she was indeed 20% cooler than every other pony!” Twilight joked to herself.
“Then there was Rarity her sense of style help Twilight and her friends out on many occasions. Such an exquisite pony, whatever she made was always divine.”
“Next was Applejack what a sweet and helpful pony she was. Hard working and would never tell a lie. Also in Twilights opinion she was the strongest and toughest pony in Ponyville. I bet she can’t even feel pain!” Twilight chuckled.
“But I could never forget about Fluttershy. She had such a way with animals! A little shy but that is what makes her so unique. Frightened by her own shadow but was brave enough to stand up to a full grown dragon! Now that’s bravery.”
“Last but not least there was Pinkie Pie. Honestly the first time we meet I kinda got creeps from her. And the whole “It wouldn’t be a surprise thing.” Was kinda weird. But she’s my friend! I know she wouldn’t hurt a fly! That’s if she was even able to catch one!” Twilight laughed. “Wow, I’m done packing already? Guess it’s time to go.” She walked to Celestia’s throne room and waved to the princess. “Good bye princess Celestia!”
“Goodbye my student.” Celestia replied. Then with a purple glow of Twilight’s horn her and her belongings were back in Ponyville at her library. “It’s good to be home!” Twilight said. But then she heard someone one calling her name.
“Twilight!!!” Spike screamed as he jumped on his friends back. “I thought you were gone forever!”
“What do you mean by that Spike?” Twilight questioned her assistant.
“Well about a week after Dash disappeared so did my one and only RarityBell! I looked everywhere trying to find my sweet sweet Rarity!” Spike continued. “WHAT IF ZOMBIES GOT RARITY!?!” Spike started to panic.
Twilight let out a big sigh. “First off I told you that there is no such thing as zombies! Second is Rarity the only pony you think about?”
“No!” Spike blurted out defensively. “But how can I not think about my Rarity! She’s so nice and she always looks amazing! Don’t even get me started on her wonderful talents! You’ve seen first had what she can do with fabric! Then her personality it’s just wonderful and have you ever read any of her fanfi-”
“Enough!” Spike was cut short by twilight. “Look I know you care about Rarity I do too but you’re over reacting. It’s late let’s get a goodnights rest and we’ll start our search tomorrow morning.”
That very next morning Twilight was rudely awaken by Spike. “C’mon C’mon C’mon we have to start looking!” Spike explained while jumping on her unicorn friend. Before Spike could land on Twilight again he was caught mid-air by one of Twilights levitation spells then thrown against a book shelf. Spike hit the shelf with a loud thud and slid down the wall. As he hit the ground a gigantic pile of books followed completely covering the dragon in a pile of books.
“Ok Spike!” A sleepy Twilight said as she rubbed her eyes. A few minutes passed and Spike and Twilight were ready to set off to search for their missing friends. But as they opened the door they were greeted by a familiar face. It was Pinkie Pie smiling from ear to ear as she said. “Hey Twilight, how was your vacation?”
“It was great I-.” Twilight was cut short.
“Don’t you think we should get going Twilight?” Spike interrupted.
“Oh, what ya doin?” Pinkie asked.
“WE ARE GOING TO LOOK FOR RARITY! Spike yelled. Twilight turns her head suddenly and stares at her dragon assistant. Then Spike continues “And Rainbow Dash hehe.” Spike laughing uncomfortably while giving Twilight a generic apology face.
“That’s better Spike.” Twilight continued. “So what are you up to Pinkie?”
“I was going to make some CUPCAKES! I would love if you could help me!” The pink pony said jumping up and down in excitement.
Twilight responds “Sorry, I would love to help and catch up but we really need to get going.”
“But I have sooo much special ingredient!” Pinkie laughed.
“Sorry Pinkie, we really need to find out what happened to our friends. Maybe later ok?” Twilight explained. Pinkie being her usual self then says.
“PLEEEEEEEEEEEESE?!? I have such a big order I need to finish!”
“Wait, so what is it? You have too much ingredients or you have a big order?” Spike asked.
Anxiously Pinkie Pie looks around. “Um, er, uhh…BOTH! Yep both of those things!” Pinkie explained while giving the two a nervous smile. As Pinkie started to sweat a little Twilight says.
“Again I’m really sorry Pinkie. You know I would love to help but our friends are missing. I would ask if you would like to help us search. But you seem stressed out maybe you could get another pony to help you with your cupcakes.” Pinkies hair deflates making it strait then she says.
“Well ok I’ll just see you two later.” Twilight put her hoof on Pinkie’s shoulder.
“Don’t worry I’ll help when we find our friends.” As the two walked off Spike turns around and waves at Pinkie.
“Cya later!”
Now upset Pinkamena says to herself. “That puny dragon almost got me caught! Screw the list! He must go first!” Suddenly her hair pops back to normal and she hops back to Sugarcube Corner to devise a plan.
After a Few hours of searching Ponyville, Spike and Twilight have had no luck finding their friends. “I just have no idea where they could have gone!” Twilight said to Spike. Then suddenly someone called out for her.
“Twilight, Come over here! I need to ask you something!” Twilight quickly turns around to see a salespony at a fabric booth waving her over. Twilight and Spike walk over to the salespony.
“I’m sorry but we are not interested in buying anything at the moment.” Twilight said
“Oh no, I just wanted to know if you have seen Rarity at all. A couple weeks ago she asked me to hold this fabric for her and she said she would be back for it in four hours tops!” The salespony explained.
“That’s not like Rarity to miss out on fabric she wanted. Something isn’t right here Spike. But I have no idea what could have happened.” Twilight said while she tried to think of an explanation.
“Eeyup.” Twilight heard from behind. She turns around to see Big Macintosh. “Have you two seen Applejack? She said she was going to Pinkies to help her at her bakery about a week ago. I haven’t seen her sense!” Big Macintosh explained but not in his usual voice. He sounded worried.
“What? Now Applejack is missing? We were just looking for Rainbow Dash and Rarity.”
Big Macintosh replies. “Well if you do see her please tell her I’m very worried. I’m going to continue looking for her. Good luck with your search.”
“Thanks Big Mac you too.” Spike said.
“Eeyup.” Big Macintosh said as he walked away.
“I just have no idea what could have happened to them!” Twilight said in confusion.
“Hey, maybe Fluttershy can help us look for them.” Spike suggested.
“That’s a great idea Spike! Let’s go over to her house and see if see is there.” Twilight and Spike started to walk towards Fluttershy’s house.
Now arriving at Fluttershy’s House the two walk up to the door and knocked. Several minutes pass but finally the door started opening. “Oh thank Celestia! She’s not missing too.” Twilight said in relief. But when the door became fully opened they didn’t see anypony.
Confused Spike says. “Wait then who opened the door?” He then hears something clear their throat quietly.
“Ahem.”
Twilight and Spike both look down to see Fluttershy’s pet rabbit Angel. “Oh hey there Angel, have you seen Fluttershy?” Angel shook his head is side to side. “No?” When was the last time you seen her?” Angel then taps on the wood floor seven times with his hind leg. “Seven hours?” Angel, giving Twilight an annoyed look he shakes his head once more. “Seven days?!?” Twilight was shocked. Angel agrees by shaking his head up and down. “Do you know where she went?” Angel quickly runs off and a few moments then returns with a letter in his mouth. Angel drops it on the floor. Could you get that for me spike?” Twilight asked.
“Why?”
“Because I have hoofs not fingers…” She said while holding up her right hoof.
Spike says under his breath. “Never stopped you from picking up stuff before.” He then pickups the letter and reads it to Twilight. “Dear Fluttershy, I want to invite you to make some cupcakes with me. Please come and help me. I would mean so much to me. Pinkie Pie.”
“Hmm, let’s try Pinkie Pie’s place maybe she can shed some light on where Applejack and Fluttershy went to.”
Now at sugar cube corner Twilight and Spike knock on the door. Pinkie Pie quickly answers and a big smile comes across her face. “Ghuahh!” She gasps. “You’ve come to help me make cupcakes!” She said with excitement.
“Sorry Pinkie but we actually came here to ask you a few questions.” Twilight explained.
“Okie dokie loki! C’mon in!” Pinkie replied. Twilight and Spike stepped into Sugarcube Corner. As they did they felt the temperature difference because the ovens have been on. The room was filled with a sweet aroma of delicious baked goods. The display cases were filled with magnificently decorated pastries such as cinnamon rolls, fudge bars, cakes, pies, cookies, brownies, and cupcakes.
“Wow, Pinkie is smells great in here!” Twilight said.
“Oh, I just got done making some cupcakes!”
“Ooo, what flavor? All this searching is making me hungry.” Spike said while rubbing his stomach.
“Well I just finished this apple flavored cupcake with tearstain frosting!” Pinkie giggled.
“Tearstain, why is it called that?” Spike asked.
Pinkie replies. “Umm…oh! The frosting is so good it will make you want to cry!”
“Well ok could I try one?”
“Of course, I even made a special cupcake just for you Spikey! I even put some gems in it for you!” Pinkie handed Spike a cupcake.
“Thanks Pinkie!” Spike said before eating the whole cupcake in one bit. Mouth still full of cupcake he says. “Hmm, WOW this is delicious! What did you put in this?”
Pinkie starts to laugh. “Now if I told you it wouldn’t be a secret now would-” Pinkie was interrupted by Twilight.
“So I wanted to ask, have you seen any of our friends?”
“Mmm, nope!” Pinkie replied.
“But this note says you invited Applejack and Fluttershy over here to help you bake.” Twilight gave the note to Pinkie.
“Oh this? Yea they came over. Then they help me make them some cupcakes and they left.”
“So they didn’t tell you where they were going?” Twilight asked.
“Hmm, oh! Now that I think about it Applejack and Fluttershy said they were going to Zecora’s hut!” Pinkie lied.
Puzzled Twilight asks. “Why would they go there?”
“Beats me.” Pinkie shrugged
“Well then we better get going come on spike lets-” Twilight paused and looked around.
“Spike, where are you?”
“Over here.” Moaned Spike from the other room. Twilight walks into the room to see Spike pale sweaty and puking into a bucket.
“Oh Spike! Are you alright? What happened?”
“Ohhh, I don’t know, I was feeling fine a moment ago.” Spike explained
“You’re in no condition to go with me to the Everfree forest with me. Let’s get you home.”
Pinkie interrupts. “Well you can’t just leave him all alone at your house! Tell you what I’ll take care of Spike while you go to Zecora’s!”
“Well I would hate to leave spike alone. You also took good care of Poundcake and Pumpkincake too.” Twilight said.
“Then it’s settled! So you run along and find our friends and I’ll make Spikey feel all better!” Pinkamena promised.
“Ok, Let me just say goodbye to Spike.” Twilight walks over to the pale dragon and says. “Hey there I’m going to look for our friends. Pinkie offered to take care of you ok? I’ll be back here before you know it.”
“Oh, okay twilight I’ll see you soon. Ahhhh!” Spike cringed while holding his stomach.
“Okie dokie lokie! We better let him get some rest! Off you go!” Pinkie Pie started to push Twilight towards the door.
“Ok, I’ll be back soon tell spike I hope he gets better.” Twilight said as she walked out the front door. Pinkie quickly closes the door. Right then Twilight started to get a bad feeling but ignore it. “I’d better hurry to Zecora’s.” Twilight thought as she began galloping towards the Everfree forest.
Back inside Spike moaned. “Oooh, Pinkie could you get me a glass of water please?”
“You see I would love to but I think you’re going to pass out!” Pinkie giggled. Before Spike could answer he was out cold.
Pinkamena's Favorite Chapter
20 minutes or so passed and Spike wakes up. “Oh, where am I?” Spike asked himself. Suddenly a Light turned on only illuminating a white pony. “RARITY!” Spike yelled out in excitement. “Where did you go?” Spike tries to move toward his pony friend but then realizes he is unable to. Another light flashes on and reveals where Spike is. He was strapped into a chair with metal braces binding him at the ankles and wrists. The only thing he was able to move was his head and tail. His tail was going through a hole in the back of the chair allowing his tail to swing freely. Spike heart starts to beat faster as he looks around the room. It was a small room, a little smaller than the average bedroom. The walls were covered with newspaper articles and pictures of missing ponies with red X’es across their faces. Suddenly the door swung open and Pinkamena hops into the room. Spike gives a sigh of relief and says. “Oh thank Celestia! I’ve must have passed out and somepony put me in this chair! Pinkie get me out of here before whoever did this gets back here!”
Pinkie Pie giggles. “But I’m already here silly!” Spike now even more confused just gives Pinkie a blank stare. “Oh, Cmon Spike! I didn’t think I would have to explain this to you!”
Spike hesitated. “Wait you’re the one who brought me down here?”
“Hooray! You got it!” Pinkie started to jump in place.
Spike turns his head towards Rarity. “You gotta help me Rarity! Pinkie Pie is crazy! Do somethi-”
Pinkie interrupts Spike. “You think Rarity can save you?” Pinkie hops over and strokes Rarity’s mane. Spikes eyes widen as he realized Rarity is lifeless and covered with stitches. His first love was now dead and stuffed like a trophy.
“No.” Spike said as he hung his head and started to cry. Pinkie walked over to the sobbing dragon.
“Awww, don’t worry.” Pinkie placed her hoof on Spikes shoulder. “You will always be my LittleSpikeyWikey.”
Spike quickly turned his head and looked to Pinkie Pie. “Don’t you ever call me that!” Spike yelled as he inhaled and let out a burst of green fire. Spikes fire breath hit Pinkie Pie directly in the face singeing some of her mane. Pinkie stumbles back and puts one hoof to her face.
“Oh, I am going to enjoy this!” Pinkie gave Spike a big smile and walked out of the room. Spike begins trying to break free from the chair. Desperately he struggles to loosen his restrains but fails. Pinkie soon returns to the room pushing a cart with a sheet over it. It is then Spike sees Pinkie Pie has made a wardrobe change. She had a bloody bandage wrapping around half of her face covering her burns. She had on a dress made out of Rainbow Dash’s, Applejack’s, and Fluttershy’s skin and cutie marks. She wore Rarity’s horn around her neck. She also had one of Rainbow Dash’s and Fluttershy’s wings on each side of the dress.
“How could you do that to all of our friends?!?” Spike looked away from her horrific clothing.
“Well I didn’t do it to alllllll of our friends! I still have Twilight left!” Pinkie answered. “Twilight is too smart to fall for anything you gunna try to pull on her!” Spike yelled. “I don’t need to do anything silly dragon!” Pinkie explained. “I’ll just get her when she come back to check on you! She’s the last one on the list you know! I’m so excited!” Pinkie then starts laugh. “That reminds me, Twilight will be back soon. We better get started!” Pinkie pulls the sheet off the cart revealing an assortment of tools and knifes carefully organized. She grabs a pair of piers off the cart and walks over to Spike. “Cuz you don’t have any cutie marks I guess I’ll just take your scales instead!” Pinkie uses the pliers to firmly grab a couple scales. With a violent tug Spikes scales rips off. Spike grinded his teeth together as he felt his scales ripping off from his skin. A small trail of blood started to flow where spikes scales used to be. Pinkie sets down the pliers and picks up a scalpel. She makes two cuts along his chest horizontally completely parallel to each other on his chest. Pinkie picks up the pliers again and goes for more scales. She grabs onto even more scales this time and yanks them away. But because of Pinkie’s previous cuts a substantial amount of skin peeled from spikes chest. Spike yells in pain as his skin was being ripped away. A lot of Spike’s muscle tissue on his chest was now exposed and the open wound started to bleed. Tears ran down Spike’s cheek.
“Oh, C’mon stop being such a baby!” Pinkamena said as she put spikes piece of skin on a table to the right of where spike was sitting. “Hey! Let’s switch it up! How about we take a look at those fangs!” Pinkie pries open Spikes mouth and puts the pliers around his left fang. With a fierce yank Pinkie pulled the first fang out of his mouth.
“Okie dokie lokie! Let’s get that other one!” Pinkie grabs Spike’s other fang and rips it out. Spike’s fangs were now gone. His mouth quickly filled with blood. With too much blood to spit out he had trouble trying to talk.
“Why are you doing this?”
“A few reason Spikey! You were gunna blow my cover before I could get to Twilight. But also I’ve never tasted dragon before! I’ve always wondered what it tasted like!” Pinkie said while she scratched her head imagining what dragon could taste like. Speechless Spike just couldn’t believe what he was hearing. Pinkie turns away and looks at her cart. “Hmm, what to use…What to use…Oh! This will be perfect!” Pinkie turns back around facing spike. In her hoofs she was holding a big wood-cutting axe. The axe wielding pony slowly walked towards Spike. As he sees the axe Spike tries once again to try to break free. Frantically moving around in the chair but could not loosen his restrains. “Can I AXE you a question Spikey?” Pinkie giggled. “How much do you like your tail?”
“Please Pinkie no!” Spike begged.
“But it would look so good on my dress!” Pinkie said as she walked behind Spike. Spike now can only anticipate when Pinkie Pie will strike. He then starts to panic even more. Pinkie raises the axe above her head. And as hard as she could Pinkie swung the axe downward chopping though almost half of Spike’s tail. As Spike felt the sharp axe cut through his flesh he yelled out in agony.
“Why Pinkie!” She ignored the dragons question and continued chopping. With two more hacks Spike’s tail fell to the floor. Spike now can only moan in pain as he grows weaker from blood loss. He closes his eyes and blacks out.
Spike wakes up after sometime and looks around the room. Pinkie Pie was no were to be seen. Shocked he is still alive Spike lets out a big sigh. As he looked down he saw Pinkie had removed more of his scales from his arms while he was unconscious. “How didn’t I wake up when she took more of my scales?” Spike wondered to himself. But then he noticed something. With his scales missing he could move his wrist more freely. He begins to try to pull his right hand out of the restraints. The metal brace cut Spike’s hand making it start to bleed. The blood acted almost like a lubricant allowing Spike to free one of his hands. He looks around a sees the table where Pinkie Pie put his skin. Right then Spike gets an idea and starts to reach for the piece of skin. Spike was able to get ahold of it. But then he heard the noise of Pinkie’s hoof steps coming closer and closer. He quickly wrote in blood on his piece of skin. “HELP ME!” Spike then puts the note to his face and with a burst of green flames he sent the gory letter to princess Celestia. As he did Pinkamena burst through the door and says.
“Oh goodie, you’re awake! Now we can continue!”
