The Great and Powerful Assistant

"So, what do you think?" Trixie asked her mother.

"Going to the Canterlot Spring Fair for Mother's Day was a lovely idea," Spectacle said. The elder unicorn had golden fur and a sunflower cutie mark. She had a pale yellow mane with a streak running though it of a lighter hue, in the same manner as her daughter.

"I'm glad you like it," Trixie said.

"I'm just happy to spend the day with you," Spectacle said. "I know you've been very busy these last few years with your career and... other things."

Trixie turned red with embarrassment. Her magical siege on the town of Ponyville had made national news. It was impossible for her mother to have not heard about it. Though neither of them ever broached the sensitive topic.

"How is your marefriend, Twilight?" Spectacle asked. Trixie blushed.

"Actually it's... it's Starlight," Trixie corrected. "Starlight Glimmer."

"Ah. I must have gotten her name mixed up," she said. Trixie hoped that was indeed the case, and not Trixie accidentally saying Twilight's name the last time she visited her mother. "Ooh, look at this booth," her mother said with excitement. "Win a trip to Las Pegasus! I know you've always wanted to go." She read the details of the sign. "One entry costs only one bit! Correctly guess the number of stars in Princess Luna's mane and tail. Hmm, I have no idea. I've only ever seen her in photos. The last time I saw her in person was at the Summer Sun Celebration with Princess Celestia. But I was so far away in the crowd, I should have brought binoculars."

"Ah, well then, I am supremely qualified to make a guess," Trixie said. "I have actually met Princess Luna on a few occasions. I've had plenty of time to observe her mane and tail."

"Did you spend a lot of time observing her tail?" Spectacle asked with a wink.

"Mom! Oh my gosh!" Trixie covered her face with her hoof. Spectacle chuckled at her daughter's embarrassment.

"What? You know I accepted long ago that you were a filly-fooler," she said. "And Princess Luna is quite the attractive mare, if I might say so, myself. I don't have to play for the 'other team' to see that. If Starlight makes you happy, then I'm happy for you. Even if it means I might never see grandfoals." Trixie paused for a moment, thinking about her mother's words. Each of them bought a ticket and filled it out with their information and their guess for the number of stars.

"Do you really think I would be a good mother?" Trixie asked. "I'm a traveling magician. And I'm..." Trixie looked at herself in the mirror of honest self-reflection. "I'm... me. And especially after... after everything I've done?" Spectacle turned to her and hugged her.

"All that means is that you got all of your big mistakes out of the way already," she said. "And remember, you were part of the team that saved Equestria from the return of the Changelings. Everypony can change. And you have. You are defined, not by your past, but by your present actions. And you now have the wisdom from your mistakes." Spectacle put her guess form into the raffle box. "And I think that you would be a wonderful mother."

Later that evening, after a fun-filled day at the fair, the announcement for the winner came over the speakers. "And the winner with the closest guess, off by only three stars is... Spectacle Lulamoon!" The mother and daughter squealed with excitement as they trotted to the booth to collect the prize.

"Wow, Mom," Trixie exclaimed, looking at the all-expense-paid trip voucher in Spectacle's hooves. "What an awesome Mother's Day gift!" Spectacle smiled.

"Spending the day with you was gift enough," she said to her daughter and gave the her the voucher. "You've always wanted to go, yourself. And besides, I've already been to Las Pegasus once. I have no desire to return." Her smile faltered a little, but Trixie was too excited to notice.

Trixie sat alone on the train to the Las Pegasus cloud port. Starlight Glimmer had accompanied her for the first half of the trip. She thought about what her mother said about grandfoals, and about her thinking that Trixie would be a great mother. But she was with Starlight. And after all, two halves can't make a whole without a pole. A real one, Trixie thought as her mind wandered to Starlight's strap-on.

They considered adoption. But given each of the mares' checkered pasts, it was unlikely either of them would be approved. They thought about getting a sperm donation, or in-vetro fertilization at the hospital. But the process was invasive and expensive. But perhaps she could find a suitable 'donor' in Las Pegasus, Trixie thought. After all, what happened in Las Pegasus, stayed in Las Pegasus. Unless she decided to bring home a little 'souvenir' for her marefriend.

The train made a stop at Sire's Hollow where Starlight disembarked to visit with her dad for Father's Day. The holiday always left a bitter feeling in Trixie's heart, never knowing who her father was. But the thought was assuaged by her excitement for her trip to 'The Other City in the Clouds', referring to its relation to Cloudsdale.

As a pegasus city, its location was the key factor keeping Trixie from visiting in the past. She never went anywhere without her magic caravan. Until it was destroyed by that Ursa Minor. But then, Trixie didn't have the bits to afford such a trip. But now it was different. She knew her wagon was safely parked next to Princess Twilight Sparkle's castle in Ponyville. She traveled light with just her saddlebags as she boarded the hot-air balloon to take her up to the clouds. On the way up, the pilot gave the usual safety briefing to the non-pegasi tourists.

"...If this is your first time visiting Las Pegasus, be sure to keep to the marked walkways. Even if you see other ponies walking on the clouds, do not attempt this yourself. You will fall through. Do not place any items on the clouds. It will fall through. Las Pegasus drifts with the winds. Ponies could be on the ground below. Do not throw trash over the edge of the walkways. Do not spit or otherwise send any other 'bodily fluids' over the edge."

Trixie raised her hoof.

"Is that actually a problem?" she asked. She just looked at her.

"More than you know. Las Pegasus is one of the 'drinking-est' cities in Equestria. Drunk ponies sometimes struggle to find a restroom."

Trixie signed the tourist waiver, disavowing the city of any liability for 'accidental plummeting'. She also made a mental note to never travel beneath a pegasus city ever again.

"Welcome to Las Pegasus." He opened the gate to let her out of the hot-air balloon basket onto the platform. The entirety of Las Pegasus sprawled out before her. She did as she was told and kept to the clearly-marked walkways as she made her way to her hotel.

Her lodging, transportation, and buffet was included in her voucher. But she needed to bring her own bits for any kind of entertainment. There were dozens of casinos, but gambling did not interest the mare.

"I only gamble with my life, never my money," Trixie said, walking past the numerous games of chance in her hotel. Her desire in visiting the city was taking in the shows. Seeing the professional performers of stage magic. Some ponies did not appreciate the art of illusion. Of all of them, Trixie should have been the most disinterested, especially after spending so much time with two of the most powerful magic wielders in Equestria: Twilight and Starlight.

But Trixie had a special appreciation for the subtle difference between unicorn magic, with a capital m, and the art of stage 'magic', which could even be performed by a talented earth pony. Illusion was the skill of seemingly doing that would otherwise require real unicorn magic, but not actually using it. That was the art of it.

Trixie had always dreamed of one day hitting the big time, and being able to perform on a Las Pegasus stage. She had the heart of a showmare, to be sure. And as an illusionist, she was a talented amateur by anypony's standards. But she wanted to see how the pros did it in their shows. And as luck would have it, the very hotel she was staying in featured just such a show in the Pony Fantastique Theater that evening.

Trixie got herself a seat in the front row. She wanted to be close enough to observe every detail. She knew that one of the keys to a good illusion was misdirection. The audience would be distracted by some flashy effect or dance routine while a deft sleight-of-hoof happened off to the side. But she was keen on the act. She would be vigilant to not let herself be fooled. A voice came over the theater sound system.

"The Prism Palace Hotel is proud to present tonight, in the Pony Fantastique Theater, Big Bucks and Jackpot!" The first of the two featured magicians walked onto the stage. Big Bucks was the taller of the two, a purple earth pony with a lime-green mane, and the fan-favorite among the mares in the audience. The straight mares, anyway. Trixie just rolled her eyes.

"Really!?" Trixie asked indignantly of the squealing mare beside her. She looked like she was old enough to be Celestia's mother.

"Oh yes," she replied. "I like Big Bucks, and I can not lie!"
sorry not sorry

Trixie just shook her head. She understood that one of the tenets of misdirection was having attractive ponies to distract the audience. In that moment, she was glad that she was only attracted to-

"And please welcome, Jackpot!" the theater announced. The unicorn walked out on stage.

Trixie felt her heart flutter. She had only ever heard of 'love at first sight' before.

With Starlight, it was a slow romance. A kindred spirit at first, an acquaintance turning into friendship. Eventually their misplaced lust turned into a mutual role-play, each of them taking turns playing as Twilight for the other. But even that passed as they both fell in love with each other for who they really were. Trixie loved dating the second-most attractive mare she knew. After herself, of course.

But this! This was instantaneous attraction. She had never felt this way before for anypony that wasn't in her mirror. Jackpot was extremely pleasing for Trixie to look at. He had an azure blue fur coat, a two-tone silver mane, and a cutie mark of three gold stars that accented his color palette in just the right way. And his eyes were the soft shade of purple that she found to be just so inviting. She shifted uncomfortably in her seat, unable to take her eyes away from him.

She didn't know how long she had been staring in a trance, but at some point she realized that she had completely missed several tricks that they had performed. She shook her head and mentally scolded herself for not paying attention.

"For our next trick," Jackpot said, "we will need a volunteer from the audience!"

"Okay, Trixie," she thought to herself, "Play it cool. Don't make it look like you're too desperate." She raised her hoof as calmly as she could manage.

...

...

"Uh, ma'am? Are you having a seizure?" Big Bucks asked.

"Wha-? Uh, n-no," Trixie said, lowering her flailing hooves and blushing in embarrassment.

"Ah, you then!" Big Bucks said, pointing at the ancient mare sitting beside her. Trixie huffed as the elderly pony walked past her. She could hear the old bones rubbing against each other like dry wood in her joints. Big Bucks and Jackpot walked over to the curtain at the side of the stage to help fit her with a feathery headdress.

"I keep letting you invite these old mares onto the stage," Jackpot discreetly whispered to his partner. "Just so you can talk them into coming back to your room. What is it with you and GILFs?" Big Bucks grinned.

"There's just something about a mare with no teeth," he said.

Trixie's jealousy stifled her lust for the time being, with that and the old wrinkly mess of a mare being in her same field of view as Jackpot. She was able to pay attention to the trick now. Jackpot held up a deck of cards to the mare.

"Take a card. Any card at all! Do not let me see it!" She did. Big Bucks gave her a marker.

"Please sign the card," Bucks said, "to ensure that it is truly one of a kind!" The mare took the marker and signed the card. Jackpot gave her the rest of the cards.

"Now, carefully place it back in the deck," Jackpot said, "and shuffle it thoroughly."

Trixie smiled. She knew this trick. The cards were perfectly ordinary. But the ink of the marker was what was enchanted. It allowed him to know which card it was that she chose. But it meant that Trixie did too. She cast a quick spell while everyone was looking up on stage. Jackpot focused on the deck, sifting through the face-down cards.

"I will now find your card, using the power of my mind!" he said. He continued sifting, starting to grow nervous as he failed to feel the presence of the ink in the desk.

"Trixie has it!" Trixie said, standing up in the front row. She walked to the edge of the stage and presented the card.

"Ooh, that is my card!" the old mare said. Jackpot and Big Bucks exchanged nervous glances.

"T- Tada!" Jackpot said with a quick flourish of his hoof. The audience applauded, oblivious to the trick's derailment. Trixie snagged the marker from Big's pocket and wrote her room number on the back of the card. She slipped both into Jackpot's coat pocket with a smirked and wink before returning to her seat. Big Bucks took the marker back from his partner and did something similar for the old mare after the act was finished.

After the Splashtastic Escape grand finale, the magicians took a bow and exited through the curtain to the backstage. The lights of the theater came up and everypony cleared out. Everypony except Trixie. She waited behind, hoping for a chance to see Jackpot. He didn't come back out. Trixie made a run for it, trying to get back stage.

"Whoa there," a security pony stepped out and stopped her.

"Uh I- I-" Trixie stammered.

"The exit is that way!" he said in a stern voice as he pointed to the back of the theater.

"Now, now," Jackpot's voice said from behind the curtain. He stepped through the gap. "I'm sure this little filly simply forgot to wear her backstage pass, in her bag." He gave her a wink. Trixie hastily opened her bag. Indeed there was a backstage pass that wasn't in there before. She quickly put the necklace strap around her neck, proudly displaying the pass.

"Alright then," the security pony said as he stepped aside. "Sorry about that. Please keep your pass displayed at all times."

"I'm sure she will," Jackpot said. "See about closing up?" he asked the guard. "I don't want anypony else wandering in to pilfer any of our props." The guard nodded and left to lock up the theater. "Please this way... Trixie, was it?" Jackpot said, waving her through to the backstage area.

"Yes," Trixie answered, giddy to hear her name in his voice.

"Now then, Mrs. Trixie-"

"Miss Trixie," she corrected. He smiled.

"Forgive me. Miss Trixie. But that was quite the little stunt you pulled during the show," he said. "How did you manage that?"

"I waited until your attention was misdirected by a distraction," she said with a smug expression.

"Ah. I take it you are a practitioner of the art?" he asked.

"I am," Trixie answered. "My father was a great magician. Or at least, so my mother told me. Though she was fond of saying that his greatest trick was the 'disappearing act' he pulled after he got her pregnant."

"I'm sorry to hear that," Jackpot said.

"Sometimes I like to pretend that my father was the great Hoofdini," Trixie said. Jackpot chuckled.

"You look good for 92," he said. Trixie blushed.

"Yes, I know it's impossible," Trixie admitted. Jackpot held her chin with his hoof.

"Impossible? Impossible!? That is not a word we use here!" he said, motioning to the theater. "We are masters of the impossible!" Trixie smiled. His grand gesture softened into a warm, compassionate smile. "Even so, I think you're a little young to be my aunt." Trixie's eyes lit up with curious interest. "Hoofdini was my grandfather."

"Really!?" Trixie asked. Jackpot nodded.

"Yes. It's true. But it's not something I go around advertising. I didn't want to ride on his coattails. I wanted a name for myself," he said. "The great Jackpot! Not 'the grandson of Hoofdini'."

"I feel the same way," Trixie said. "I want to be a great magician in my own right. Though I know I have a lot to learn," she admitted with a rare display of humility. "For instance, how did you get this backstage pass into my bag without me noticing?"

"The same way you took my playing card," he said. "I waited until you were distracted." He waited for her to come to the realization.

"Ah, the guard."

"He has a way of grabbing your attention, no?" Jack asked.

"Not quite like you do," Trixie said, fluttering her eyes. "I was excited to meet you before. But now that I know that you're the grandson of Hoofdini- It's almost like having Hoofdini himself!" Jackpot raised an eyebrow.

"Sex with the same stallion whom you also idolized as a father figure? That doesn't strike you as... odd?" he asked. Trixie tapped her chin with her hoof. She hadn't thought about that before. But the heart wanted what it wanted.

"I suppose. But I guess I don't care."

"Well aren't you just a little minx," he said. "Are you sure your name isn't Miss Behaving?"

"Maybe," Trixie said playfully.

"Well far be it for me to judge. If I had a daughter as pretty as you, I might've had some impure thoughts of my own. So as long as you're not just into me for my heritage..."

"Oh, not at all! I just found out about it. That's just a bonus for me now."

"I see. So, what other tricks does a talented little mage like you know?" he asked, running his hoof through her mane. Her eyes dipped down under him.

"I bet I can make a magic wand appear," she said in a sultry tone.

"Hmm, oh ho, I'm sure," Jackpot said. He did so love a mare that knew what she wanted and wasn't afraid to say it. "But if you do that, you better be prepared to make it... disappear."

"The Great and Powerful Trixie is always prepared," she said. Her horn glowed. Her magic caressed him in a very specific location.

"Oh? And how would my Great and Powerful assistant do that?" he asked, applying a bit of a magic touch of his own on her. "Would you open your mouth, to say the magic words or... do you have hidden compartments?" He punctuated his words with his hoof giving a tug of her tail. Trixie's legs trembled as a bit of her wetness trickled down her inner thigh. "Oh, I see you're having a little Splashtastic Escape already," he said.

"I use all the tools at my disposal for a sensational performance that never disappoints," she said.

"Hmm, so do I," Jack said, rolling a long box over to her. Her opened the top and lifted her up to lay her down inside. Her head was sticking out of one end, and her lower half was hanging out of the other. Trixie recognized the contraption. She had a similar one, but with fake hooves for the lower half. Jackpot brought out a large, metal blade to bisect the box. Trixie panicked, unable to contort herself out of the way in the box. He slid the blade though the middle of it and split the box in half. Trixie felt no pain but shrieked all the same when he separated the two halves.

He brought the lower half of the box around to show her. Trixie looked at the azure legs hanging out of the separate half of the box. He tickled her hoof. She felt it and laughed despite her shock.

"Enchanted portal box," he said. "Very expensive, but it makes for a fantastic show." He parted her legs with his hooves, showing off her marehood to her. Trixie watched him lean over to get a closer look at her pussy. "Fantastic show!" She could feel the warmth of his breath on her loins as he said the words. He closed the distance and gave her wet marehood a little kiss, making her shudder in the confines of the box.

As much as she wanted to instinctively close her eyes, and focus on the feeling of it, she forced herself to keep them open and watch him continue to kiss her pussy. He pressed more of his face into her, licking up and down along it as his nose pressed against her clitoris.

Jackpot was clearly a stallion with experience and it showed. He knew exactly how to touch her in all the right ways, building up her pleasure. Trixie and Starlight had become such familiar lovers that they both knew how to get each other off as efficiently as possible. But Jackpot took his time with her, teasing her with his touch, deliberately avoiding the one spot that would send her over the top. Her direct, attentive watching also meant that none of his contact could take her by surprise.

She watched his horn begin to glow. She felt a tendril of his magic push its way into her vagina. She felt it flex and curl upward just slightly as he moved it in and out of her, expertly rubbing against her g-spot. Trixie felt a new pressure building up inside her, along with her impending orgasm.

"N-no," she whimpered, knowing what would happen if he continued. The first time it happened with Starlight, it took them both by surprise. She didn't want to embarrass herself like that with him now.

"Yes!" he said, applying more pressure against her g-spot as he moved it faster. He could tell she was close.

"S-Stop, or else I'll- I'll-!" Trixie cry was cut off when he cupped her whole vulva with his mouth and gave a final flick of his tongue on her clit. Trixie came harder than she ever had before in her life. She even took Jackpot by surprise. He had mares who were squirters before, but Trixie all but gushed torrents of her marecum into his mouth. He didn't expect such quantity, and so quickly. Her nectar overran his lips and dribbled down his chin. When her orgasm finally ceased, he pulled away from her sensitive pussy to give them both chance to catch their breath. He looked at Trixie's head sticking out of the other half of the box. Her face was flushed from her climax, but also her embarrassment. She looked at his face, flushed with her climax in a different way, along with the front of his suit.

"Oh my gosh! I'm sorry!" she stammered. He just grinned at her and put a hoof up to silence her.

"My dear, you should not ever need to apologize for your orgasms," he said, joining the two halves of the boxes back together. He removed the divider and opened the top of the box. "I would only ask one thing of you," he said as his sticky hooves helped her up out of the box.

"And what's that?" she asked, following him to his backstage green room. He looked back at her and grinned.

"Can you do that again?" he asked. Trixie blushed and smiled.

"The Great and Powerful Trixie is always ready for an encore performance," she said. He opened the door to the green room and led her inside.

"In that case, let me consult my magical dresser," he said, walking over to the tall, and wide, wooden dresser. He reached up and grabbed the handle at the top, pulling it over. Trixie gasped as the 'dresser' appeared to fall over into the room. Jackpot just smirked as he lowered the Murphy bed out of the wall. "Tada!" he said with a quick bow.

"Oh, that is neat!" Trixie said, hopping onto the bed and sitting on the edge. "What a space saver! I should get one of these for my carav- er, for my place."

"Yes. It's handy having a bed that pulls out," he said.

"I hope it's the only thing that does," Trixie said parting her legs as her magic resumed groping his sheath. "Now then, for my next trick, I'll make a magic wand appear." Only a bit more coaxing from her magic and his dick emerged from its sheath. Jackpot reared up onto the bed in front of her, presenting himself to her. His length extend out, softly drooping at first. It was a darker shade of blue than his fur. It was much thicker than Starlight's modest strap-on, which was little more than a simple vibrator. Trixie grasped it in her hooves and took his tip in her mouth as she stroked it. It didn't take him long to become very hard from her ministrations.

She pulled him out of her mouth just long enough to say, "Tada!" She started sucking him again, trying to take more of his shaft. His tip bumped against the back of her throat. From where she was sitting, she couldn't get the angle she needed for him to go deeper, and he was far too stiff to make the bend. He felt her gag and struggle to deep-throat him. He put a hoof on her shoulder.

"A valiant effort, dear, but that isn't necessary," he said, pushing her back with his hoof. "I'm sure we can find some other way to make this magic wand disappear. One that we will both enjoy." Trixie followed his lead and laid back on the bed. He wrapped his hooves around her thighs and pulled her butt to the edge of the mattress. He laid his shaft between her legs, running up and down along her pussy, getting it wet with her juices. He reached over to his nightstand and pulled open the drawer and stopped moving.

"Um, I hate to put a damper on this evening, but I don't seem to have any condoms." Trixie's head craned to looked behind her at the modest bookshelf he kept, hoping to find what would be her solution. As luck would have it, she found it. It was a staple in most any unicorn household.

"Practical Spells for Everyday Unicorn Life," Trixie read aloud as she pulled the book from the shelf with her magic. "Eighth Edition." She flipped through the pages. The spells were listed alphabetically. "Let's see, C, C... ah, Contraception Spell!" She smiled and folded the page. She focused on the spell and gathered her magic to her horn. With a snap she released it. The small orb of magical light moved down to her abdomen and spread out into her tummy. "There, all set!"

"Alright then. Now where were we?" Jackpot said, resuming their outercourse. Trixie reached down with her hoof and guided him lower, pressing his tip against her marehood, parting her lips like a blooming flower.

"Right about here," Trixie said. Jackpot shuddered at both the sensation and her eagerness. Seeing her young pussy stretched taut to take his girth made him just as hard as a stallion could get. He pressed the tip against her entrance and applied a bit of pressure.

"Say the magic word," he said.

"Please?" she begged. He chuckled.

"Oh, that is just adorable. I meant an actual magic word."

"Abracadabra?" she tried.

"There you go." As wet as she was it was still some doing to work the head inside her. "Ooh, sweetie, you are just the tightest mare I have ever..." he trailed off as words failed him. She was clearly unaccustomed to this kind of physical intrusion.

"Trixie usually prefers- UNH! The company of mares," she said with a grunt. "But you're a special exception."

"Well I'm honored," he said slowly working in his medial ring, and the rest his length into her. He felt himself bottom out inside her. He gave a little more pressure, she shifted a bit, and his balls rested against her butt. "Wow. A perfect fit. What are the odds?"

"We should ask Las Pegasus," Trixie said with a breathless gasp, feeling more full than she ever had before in her life.

She expected him to pull out and start fucking her but he didn't; he just held himself there and waited. Her eyes flittered and focused as she looked up at him. His eyes were just drifting over her as he admired her body. His hoof reached out to run it through her mane. He didn't pull it. His hoof moved down from her mane across her cheek and down to her chin with a gentle caress. His eyes twinkled.

"I don't know what it is..." he said, looking almost forlorn? "You are just... so... beautiful." Trixie blushed and felt her heart flutter. As boastfully egotistical as she was, as highly as she thought of herself in her own right, to hear such a sincere, and heartfelt complement from a pony, from this pony in particular, it just felt so much more meaningful for reasons she could not comprehend.

In defiance of one of his cardinal rules regarding the mares he took to bed, he leaned down and brought his lips to hers. Trixie returned the kiss with passion, wrapping her hooves around him to hold him. Still lip-locked, he started to move his hips. He felt the warmth of her gasp into his mouth as he started to move inside her. The debauchery-filled evening each of them were expecting to have melted away as the would-be-frantic-fucking turned into slow, genuine love-making.

Jackpot had plenty of mares in his time. He had his share, her share, Big Bucks' share. He'd had a lot. Earth, unicorn, pegasi, zebra, and even a batpony. Older mares and mares so young he had to check their ID. He stayed on the safe side nowadays. But in his youth he had played fast and loose, thanking his lucky stars that he didn't end up with something. Or somepony. But this mare under him made him question his swinging-bachelor life. Had he his fill of it? Maybe the grass was finally greener on the married side of the fence. After all, he wasn't getting any younger.

Big Bucks always did accuse him of being the sentimental one.

Jackpot broke the kiss to catch a breath and held his cheek against hers. He moved slowly in and out of her. He might have lacked the raw energy of his younger, buck-wild, counterparts. But unlike those stallions, his age gave him wisdom and experience. For a stallion, sex was like a firework; spectacular, but brief. For a mare, however, sex was like a well-balanced top. Once you got them going, they could go for a long, long time. And Jackpot was in no hurry for this session to conclude.

Trixie did not need him to move fast, or hard. The texture of his sheer girth was enough. His slow movements only emphasized each individual sensation she felt as he moved along inside her. She could feel every vein and ridge of his cock as it rubbed against her sensitive walls. Every time his medial ring moved back and forth across her g-spot, she felt a familiar pressure building up in her belly.

"I- I'm-" Trixie felt the knot in her tummy snap free. Her legs trembled as she came. His pace didn't falter as he continued to thrust through her orgasm. The pressure in her pussy held as her marecum struggled to escape, coming out in little spurts around his shaft each time he pushed into her. Her wetness dripped down his crotch and balls. He pulled out briefly. The rest of her marecum gushed out and soaked into his blankets before he plugged her leak again. The entire room was heavy with the musk of their session.

He sunk it home again, deep inside her. He was wise enough to know that he only had a finite number of strokes to give before his own climax. He held it there and instead ground his hips against hers, intentionally pressing against her sensitive clitoris. Trixie's orgasm stretched out into long waves of pleasure with each contact creating little peaks. Her pussy squeezed and milked him in time with his grinds.

He leaned down and nibbled on her ear, giving her shivers as she wrapped her hooves around him to hug him close to her. His mane draped into her face and she just breathed in his aroma. Jackpot wasn't a stallion for cologne. He felt it was a shortcut for ponies that simply didn't maintain their hygiene properly. As such, Trixie was treated to his natural scent amid the room permeated with her own.

The strangeness of such close intimacy was almost frightening to the stallion connoisseur of casual encounters. Not so much that this was with a stranger, but the immediacy and ease of the intimacy in place of empty passion with such comfort was surprising. He was a jaded pony that had long-ago abandoned the notion of love at first sight. But in what could be her greatest magic trick, she had turned him back from his cynical ways. He looked into her eyes. If ever there was such a thing as love at first sight, truly it was this. Jackpot kissed Trixie again.

"Why don't you roll over," he suggested. He backed off and pulled out briefly so she could roll onto her belly. She climbed up completely onto the bed instead of half-hanging off. He followed up onto the bed after her and mounted her properly, sliding back inside her. Her tired hooves gave out under her from the weight on her back, and she laid down onto the mattress. He followed her down and laid on her back, careful to keep most of his weight off of her with his hooves. Just enough to keep the contact of their bodies together.

Once they were in a comfortable position, he resumed thrusting in earnest. As a gentlecolt, he had seen to it that she had already cum twice. His experience and wisdom came at the cost of the stamina he once had in his youth. Even if he hadn't just done a full magic show, he would not have had the endurance to go much longer.

"Time for the grand finale," he whispered, going both faster and harder for the big finish. In this position, his balls smacked against her clit in time with his thrusts, building up her pleasure once again. He felt a tightness in his groin that signaled he was nearing the point of no return. He teetered on the brink. Trixie could feel his heart pounding in his chest. It was going almost as fast as her own. Her attention quickly shifted elsewhere when she felt him throb thicker inside her.

With a final thrust, he slammed it home. The subtle differences in the length, thickness and shapes of different ponies' penises and vaginas were usually overlooked by all but the most specialized anatomists. But they were what gave different partners, and different positions different feelings. Differences that were difficult to articulate. But mounting her from behind like this, Jackpot and Trixie fit together perfectly, his broad tip against the contours of deepest barrier.

He grunted and held her tighter in his hooves as the head of his cock flared wide, stretching her depths. Her cervix parted just slightly with his urethra poised with precise aim into it. She felt him twitch and pulse in her pussy her as he came, pumping his rich seed deep inside of her. Trixie trembled and shivered under him as his cock throbbed and jerked, making her cum again as well. It wasn't the world-shattering orgasm she'd had earlier, soaking the bed. It was more diffuse. More relaxing than intense. Much like the sex they'd had.

Jackpot's own hooves were getting weak from the workout. He didn't want to smother her, but he needed to lay down. He didn't want to pull out just yet either. He move to roll onto his side. He pulled at her shoulder to follow with him. He laid down beside her, wrapping his hoof around her and holding her as the big spoon. Trixie felt indescribably comfortable being held in his hooves.

Nothing would have made him happier than to fall asleep together just as they were. But alas, it was not meant to be. His body betrayed him as his erection wilted and retreated back into his sheath. He expected a rush of wetness to come forth from her with it pulled free of her, but none came. He craned his head to look down at them, but did not see the cream pie he was expecting.

"I know there was a lot," he said. "Where did it go?"

"Tada!" Trixie said with a small wave of her hoof, barely half-awake. "Dissappeared! It's... it's gone." In truth, as soon as his flared tip relaxed, the tight muscles of her cervix snapped shut, sealing his copious load inside her womb.

"That's a-" Jackpot yawned. "That's a very effective method of yours," he said. Trixie didn't even hear him. She was already fast asleep.

Trixie woke up the next morning to the sound of the room's door closing. She looked up at the stallion bringing in a tray for her.

"Good morning," Jackpot greeted. "I had to run out to drop off my dry-cleaning. While I was out, I brought you some breakfast."

"Oh, thank you!" Trixie said with a smile. He set the tray by the edge of the bed and sat with her while she ate. "Are you not eating?" she asked. He shook his head.

"Nah. I'm not usually a morning pony," he said. "Las Pegasus isn't really a 'morning' city either. So my day doesn't really start until the afternoon when I do my first show." Trixie ate her breakfast as he spoke. "Speaking of... a talented magician like you, I was wondering if you would be interested in becoming a full-time assistant." Trixie's eyes lit up with excitement.

To apprentice with one of the best magicians in Las Pegasus? It was her dream.

"I'm sure that's not the only reason why you want me to be your assistant," she said, flicking him with her tail. He smiled softly.

"Well, there is that too," he admitted. "But what do you think?" Trixie's excitement tempered for a moment.

"Well, I actually have a confession to make. I kind of, sort of, have a... pretty serious marefriend back in Ponyville," she said.

"Oh," he remarked with genuine concern. "I hope last night isn't going to cause any problems for you."

"No-no, it's not about that. We have a... er, understanding," Trixie said. "I only mean that I'm just here for the two weeks until my vacation is over. And then I have to go back home. To her. She has a lot of responsibilities there, and I can't just uproot my life... our lives like that."

"Okay. I understand," he sighed. "I guess I know what this means..." Trixie looked at him with a quizzical expression.

"And introducing, for just TWO WEEKS only! Jackpot's Great and Powerful Assistant: TRIXIE!" the voice announced over the theater speakers that evening. Jackpot and his partner, Big Bucks stepped aside to make space for the sudden burst of smoke. It cleared, revealing the showmare in her dazzling star spangled hat and cape.

Big Bucks flourished his hooves at Jackpot and Trixie as they prepared for the first illusion of the evening.

"Watch in awe as the Great and Powerful Trixie helps Jackpot perform some of the greatest feats of magic ever witnessed by pony eyes!" Big Bucks said as they got into position. They pulled off the first trick flawlessly and moved on to the next. The three of them mixed up who worked with whom. It cut out the need for an audience volunteer. The entire act ran more smoothly with a competent assistant. Even so, Big Bucks still managed to get an elderly mare on stage for one of the last card tricks. Managing, again, to get his room number into her pocket for later that night.

For Trixie, it was better than even the best mind-altering potions. The high of the adrenaline rush on stage was everything to her. Her heart was still racing even after the final curtain.

"So? How do you feel after your first proper show?" Jackpot asked. Trixie was still giddy.

"I feel- I, I feel... I can't even describe it!" Trixie said with exasperation. "It's even better than sex!" That made his eyebrow quirk.

"Oh really? Are you sure about that? I think we need to do a side-by-side comparison to be sure," he said, leading her to his backstage room.

"Oh, absolutely!" she agreed. He was hard before they even closed the door. She practically threw him onto the bed and proceeded to ride him like a banshee.

"Easy, girl. Save some of that energy for the second show tonight!" he said. Trixie didn't listen. She had energy to spare.

The second show went even better. As did the 'after-show'. Jackpot sat up in the bed next to her afterwards, drinking a glass of water from his nightstand.

"You are just, wow!" he gasped. "If you keep this up, I don't think I'm going to survive two weeks." He got up and walked over to the small refrigerator, taking out an ornate bottle. "Well, we've had a hell of a first day. Let's celebrate!" He opened the bottle and poured a glass. "Champagne?" he offered. Trixie was about to take it but didn't.

"I don't drink," she said.

"Really?" he said. "I remember you saying something about your love of cider the other day," he said.

"Oh, well, I mean I did, but I quit," she said. He shrugged.

"Okay. I respect that. Do you mind if I?" he asked.

"No, not at all. Go ahead."

"To us," he said, raising his glass in a toast. Trixie took up her glass of water and returned the gesture.

"To us."

On the morning of her last day in Las Pegasus, Jackpot had gone out to get breakfast, as he had each day she was there. When he returned, she was not in the bed where he had left her. He set the tray down on the room's small table and slumped into the chair. He knew she was leaving that day. But he hadn't expected her to leave without saying goodbye.

He had broken many a mares' hearts in his lifetime. But he had never let one get the better of him. Or rather, he had never let one get the better of him before. He felt a tightness in his chest. Part of him hoped it was just a fatal heart attack. But it wasn't. It was worse. It was heartache. He loved her. And now she was gone. And he knew damn well that it served him right. All the same, he felt his cheeks become damp.

"BLARGHH!" The sound of a retch came from the bathroom. He quickly wiped his eyes and ran over to open the door. Trixie was kneeling before the porcelain altar, singing the technicolor hymn.

"Don't drink, huh!?" he asked with a sly smile. "What do you call this?"

"I'm not hungover, Jackass!" she said, wiping her mouth with some tissues. "It must have been those deep-fried peanut butter crackers from the buffet."

"Babe, I told you not to eat at that buffet," he said. "They leave their food out under heat lamps all day long. It's a food poisoning epidemic waiting to happen."

"I had a craving."

"For peanut butter crackers?"

"Deep-fried peanut butter crackers," she corrected.

"For deep-fried peanut butter crackers?" he asked again. She shrugged. "Well are you feeling better now? Well enough to eat before you have to travel?"

"Yeah." Trixie flushed and cleaned herself up before heading over to eat her breakfast.

"So are you heading straight back to Ponyville?" he asked. Trixie shook her head.

"I'm stopping in Sire's Hollow to meet up with my marefriend for the night. Then we'll head back to Ponyville the day after tomorrow," she explained.

"Okay." He sat with her in silence while she ate. "So do you want to... one more time, before you leave?" he asked.

"Honestly, I'm actually pretty sore," she said.

"Oh good," he said, quickly retracting it. "I mean, not good that you're sore. I'm sorry about that. I just mean, 'oh good' about not doing it again. I'm getting a little chaffed myself."

"I think I lost count as to how many times," she said.

"At least thirty," he said with a whistle. "You sure you can't stay?"

"You know I can't," she said. "Don't make me feel worse about this."

"I know. Sorry. I'll walk you to the sky-port at least," he said. She finished eating and then packed her things. They walked together to the hot air balloon station. He held her in his hooves and kissed her again, one last time. She waved to him from the balloon basket. He waved good-bye to her until she was just a speck among the clouds. He wiped away the wetness from his cheeks. "It's a terrible day for rain," he said to himself before he left to return back to his place.

He walked into his room and closed the door. He just stood there for a while and looked at the place. The tiny studio room suddenly seemed far too large for just one pony. He walked over and sat down on her 'side' of the tiny bed and pressed his nose into her half of the one pillow. He could still smell the scent of her mane. IF he just closed his eyes, he could pretend that she was still-

"No." He sat up and decided that he needed a distraction. The place needed to be cleaned anyway. At the very least, tidied up a bit. He made the bed for the first time since she'd started laying in it. He put away his books on the book shelf, including the one on her nightstand that she had used. He opened it to the page she had marked. His eyes read it twice to make sure he was reading it correctly. The two spells were so similar, it could have easily been confused for the wrong one.

No drinking

Morning sickness

Cravings

He dropped the book at his hooves and ran out of the room. He needed to get to Ponyville right away. The page she had marked wasn't a contraception spell.

...

It was a conception spell.

Trixie's train stopped in Sire's Hollow to pick up Starlight Glimmer from her visit. Starlight boarded the train and found her way to where Trixie was sitting. The two of them waved farewell to Starlight's father on the station platform from their window. The next stop would be in Canterlot, the central train station hub of the region. There, they would have a half-day's layover until the next train came through to carry them the rest of the way home to Ponyville.

"So how was Las Pegasus?" Starlight asked excitedly. Trixie tried to summerize her time in the city without using the words buck-wild ball-slapping fuck-fest.

"It was nice," Trixie said, making the understatement of the year.

"And?" Starlight pressed.

"And what happens in Las Pegasus, stays in Las Pegasus," Trixie said.

"Please. We both know that's a lie," Starlight said. Trixie knew her marefriend was right. She subtly put a hoof on her own belly. "Come on. Dish!"

"Well, I can say that I had a wonderful time being a guest assistant to one of the greatest magicians there for the two weeks," Trixie said.

"Really!? Oh my gosh! I'm so happy for you! That's always been your dream, right? To get your performance onto the big-time stage there?" she asked. Trixie smiled and nodded. "So what now? I- I mean... what now?" Starlight asked, trying not to sound too excited. "Do you think you have a way to break into the big time with your act now?"

"Maybe..." Trixie said with a bittersweet tone. She realized that she was at a crossroads of her life. No matter what path she chose, her life would be changed forever. And there was no going back. "But... I don't know if I can. I mean, if I really want to."

"But it's what you've always wanted isn't it?" Starlight asked.

"It was," Trixie said, putting her hoof on Starlight's. "But you have responsibilities in Ponyville now at Twilight's school. And I don't want to ask you to leave all that just to run off with me on some literal gamble of a career that might not even pan out. I need a more stable plan," she said. Starlight cocked her eyebrow.

"When did you become so responsible?" she asked. Trixie kept her other hoof on her belly. She knew exactly when. It really did change everything. Her entire outlook on life had shifted. Gone were the days of her reckless adventures.

"How was your visit to Sire's Hollow?" Trixie asked, avoiding the question. Starlight thought for a moment.

"It was wonderful," Starlight said. "In fact, I've actually got a surprise for you."

"I've got a pretty big surprise for you as well," Trixie responded.

"Well, I was going to wait until we got back to Ponyville to tell you," Starlight said.

"Me too."

"But I kind of want to tell you now."

"Me too."

A train porter came up the aisle with a beverage cart.

"Something to drink, ladies? Champagne?"

"No thank you," they both said in unison. The two mares looked at each other as he left. Both in utter disbelief that the other declined complimentary alcohol.

"I'm pregnant," they both said in perfect stereo. Their shock each gave way to elation for the other as they hugged each other.

"Oh my gosh!"

"This is wonderful!"

"It is wonderful, right?"

"What? OH, no-nono, I- I mean, yes, it is. I wasn't- I mean, it was good. It was... consensual. Why? Were you-?"

"NO! No, no, it was good, too."

They each breathed a sigh of relief for the other and embraced again.

"Wow. Two foals," Trixie said. The tone of her voice was a mix of excitement and trepidation.

"Hey, we can handle it. We've overcome tougher challenges before," Starlight said.

"Like what?" Trixie asked.

"Remember when we overthrew Queen Chrysalis?" Starlight asked. "Without any magic!"

"Two. Foals," Trixie re-emphasized. Starlight's confidence wilted.

"Okay. Yes. You're right. This will be the biggest challenge we've ever had," Starlight said. "But we'll be doing it together." Starlight held Trixie's hoof. "And we're not alone. We'll have the help of our friends, too."

The train pulled into Canterlot Station about mid-day. They would have a few hours lay-over until the next train arrived to take them the rest of the way to Ponyville. Trixie and Starlight disembarked to spend the afternoon in the city. Trixie had a nice idea as to how to spend their time.

"Hey, since I've met your father, would you like to meet my mother?" Trixie asked.

"I'd be delighted!" Starlight said, following Trixie in the direction of her mother's home. She paused for a second. "Um, are we going to tell her about..."

"Uh, no. Not yet anyways," Trixie said.

"Okay. Yeah, I wasn't ready for those kind of questions," Starlight said.

"What kind?"

"Trix, we're two mares. Two halves can't make a foal without a pole. So of course she's going to ask-"

"Who's the father," Trixie realized out loud. Starlight nodded. They continued walking. "Wait, Starlight, who is the father?"

"I could ask you the same thing," she said.

"He's... it's not important. Just a sperm donor. Right? That was the plan, wasn't it?" Trixie asked. "And what happens in Las Pegasus-"

"Exactly," Starlight said.

"But in Sire's Hollow-"

"Stop."

"Oh my gosh! Was it Sunburst!?" Trixie asked.

"No."

"That baker?"

"No. Stop trying to guess."

"But those were the only two stallions in Sire's Hollow," Trixie said. Starlight didn't correct her. "I bet it was Sunburst!" Trixie said with a smug grin. Starlight ignored her. "Okay. Here were are," Trixie said as they arrived outside of her mother's home. "We can have lunch, and then be back to the station in time to catch the train to Ponyville. Remember, not a word about..." Trixie rubbed her belly.

"My lips are sealed," Starlight replied, hoping that Trixie would do the same.

Trixie's mother, Spectacle, was trilled to see her daughter again. Even more so to finally meet her marefriend that she kept talking about. She and Starlight got on very well over the meal they had for lunch.

"I'm so happy to see my daughter with somepony that loves her," Spectacle said. "Though I was hoping to be a grandmare some day." Starlight cut her eyes at Trixie, hoping beyond all hope that she wouldn't use the prompt to spring the news on her prematurely.

In a rare display of restraint, Trixie simply said, "We'll see."

At the conclusion of the brief visit, Spectacle walked with them back to the train station. The three of them continued to chat on the way, and while they waited on the station platform.

"I just need to go use the little filly's room," Spectacle excused herself. "I'll be back in time to see you two off." She trotted off to the restroom just before the train pulled into the station. A stallion on board recognized the azure showmare on the platform.

"Trixie!" Jackpot said, running over to her.

"Jackpot!? What are you doing here?" Trixie asked. He ran over and hugged her. She hugged him back. He kissed her. She tried not to kiss him back in front of Starlight's glare.

"I was on my way to Ponyville to find you!" he said, motioning to the train. "Listen Trixie, I know! I know that you're pregnant, and I know that it's mine. But I can't go through this again! I can't bear the thought of another mare out there somewhere with a foal of mine. I'm done with being the swinging Las Pegasus bachelor. I want to be a part of this foal's life!" he said with tears in his eyes.

"I'm sorry. You are...?" Starlight asked politely, bottling her anger.

"Forgive me. Jackpot," he introduced himself, shaking her hoof. "You must be Starlight?" Starlight nodded. "Trixie mentioned her marefriend a few times." He looked at Trixie. "Trixie, I understand... why you..." he trailed off. "I know you two are together, but Trixie, I love you. I want to make this work somehow. I know we can if... if you would want to," he said. He suddenly felt very silly following after her as he did. He knew she had a marefriend. He knew that she did what she did and left without telling him for a reason. But just the same, he couldn't change the way he felt about her. The heart wanted what it wanted.

"Can we... can we have a minute?" Trixie asked. He nodded and stepped away from them to let them talk. She and Starlight huddled together. "I'm... open to the idea."

"What the hay, Trixie!?" Starlight asked. "I thought it was 'just a sperm donor'," she said. "He wasn't supposed to catch feeling for you. And you definitely weren't supposed to catch feelings for him!"

"I know. I'm sorry! I just- He's just so- I'm sorry!" Trixie blabbered. "I love you, Starlight. But I also... really really like him, too."

"You just met him two weeks ago."

"I know, I know! But he's just so sexy and sweet and sexy and kind and sexy," she said.

"Trixie, you're drooling!"

"No I'm not!" she said wiping her mouth. "And besides, with two foals, we could use all the help we can get!"

"I'm not moving to Las Pegasus," Starlight said firmly.

"We don't have to. He said he was coming to Ponyville," Trixie said. Starlight looked unconvinced. "It is his foal. He does have some right to see it."

"I'll... I'll consider it," Starlight said. "He can visit Ponyville and I'll give it a chance to get to know him."

"I love you!" Trixie said, hugging her with glee.

"Ugh, I spoil you," Starlight groaned. "Alright, let's go talk to-"

"Jackpot!?" Spectacle said, returning from the restroom. "Jackpot is that really you!?"

"Spectacle!?" Jackpot answered in equal disbelief.

"Trixie! Trixie come over here!" Spectacle called her daughter over. Trixie and Starlight joined them. "Trixie, I want you to meet Jackpot... ...your father."
