Discord was a handsome Prince living everybody’s dream life. For him, it was nothing special. His father never paid any attention to him : sure, he paid attention to all his royal needs, but, he never gave the father-son attention he deserves. Discord on the other hand, tries to win his father’s attention by taking on numerous activities to please his father like fencing & archery.

Discord sometimes rides on his horse & goes for a tour of his kingdom. He pays a lot of attention to the threats that might be there. He has his best friend, Cheese Sandwich, who accompanies him wherever he goes. Discord does archery with him, goes horse-riding around town with him, almost every activity has the involvement of Cheese Sandwich. They sometimes even pull pranks on others. They are known to be the best of pals.

At nights, when Discord is alone, he sits near his windowsill, looking out on his kingdom. His mother had died & he used to visit her grave on her birthdays every year. He even visits Cindershy’s house once in a while because of the goodies she used to bake.
He loved her cookies, even though Cindershy insisted they are just simple cookies made by her. He was always on the lookout to try more of her goodies.

Discord longs to be free, to live a life of a normal citizen. Whenever he goes to have a tour, everyone just stops doing what they were & quickly bow down to him. Sure, he liked that, but he sometimes, he wanted to be one of them. He wants to just go around doing one’s chores & not bother about anything. He kind of had some feelings for Cindershy, but he just neglected them, thinking that she was just a friend & nothing else. He had noticed, that whenever she started seeing him, she would start to stutter. Sometimes, he thinks that because he is a royalty, she might be acting that way.

He wanted to know her feelings about him. But he couldn’t because he was royalty. The people in his palace wouldn’t allow him to roam around freely without being with his guards. His father, is particularly strict about that. At first, Discord was all alone by himself, no friends & no meeting the citizens. But due to the increasing number of attempts made by Discord to get out of the palace, his father finally agreed with a condition that he’ll have to be with his guards all the time. For Discord, that was the first nicest thing his father had done after his mother had passed away. Slowly, he started to get to know people, especially Cindershy, who for some reason kept on bumping into Discord. But Discord is happy to get to know Cindershy.

His life goes on like this. Daily doing his princely duties, fencing, having some fun with his friend, having a horse-ride around his kingdom, archery, etc. Everyone envied him. Living a Prince life was all everyone dreamed of. Discord was living that. Everything is fine. What could possibly go wrong?

Author's Note

Two chapters in one day! (counting the amount of words I had to type ). I finally completed the introduction of the main characters. Now I just need to add more details & go on & on..... What do you guys think? Should I continue this story? Let me know in the comments below!
