Spike had been living the good life out of Twilight's basement for some time now, turning it into his personal 'dragon-cave' and not having to worry about a thing in the world. All that changes when he's forced to move into the newly constructed apartment complex on the other side of town. A month later, Spike gets a new neighbor who changes his life. Or, more specifically, his new neighbor's dog Virgil. Whom, by the way, Spike alone sees as an earth pony. How will Spike's life change? Will this creature known only as "Virgil" help Spike turn his life around? Or will he ruin what little left that Spike can call his own?
