CHAPTER 7: Just a normal day

“Aawww my head” Sunset has finally regained consciousness and awoke from the school clinic at Canterlot High, a grown woman took notice this and walks over to her and said “it just seems you really needed some rest”.

Sunset vision started to clear (If I remember correctly her name was Dr.Red heart.)

”You’re finally awake how are you feeling?” ask Red Hearth as she leans in closer to medically check Sunsets well being.

Sunset sat up straight and said “I’m feeling better thank you” she looks down trying to remember exactly what happened and just like any other dream her memory was a blur.

“I see well don’t overdo it next time, If you can’t come to school don’t force yourself, specially taking in that much medicine you’re lucky you didn’t die from it” the doc sighted with her fingers on her head as if she’s having a headache “Kids and their energy drinks these days” Red Hearth help Sunset to stand up and said “Go home, rest, drink as much liquid as you can so that this won't happen again.” She paused and gave Sunset a sharp eye “When I mean liquid I mean water, H2O no more high energy drink, got it?”

Sunset was feeling a lot better and replied “Yes, I will thank you”. She exited the clinic and returned to her classroom, as expected no ones around but on her table that was supposed to have her bag was instead a note that says (EMERGENCY MEETING MUSIC ROOM). Sunset groaned right band practice was today “at least I’m feeling a bit better now”.

MUSIC ROOM

Sunset hears the rock and roll all the way to the halls as she opened the doors to that particular room. The first one to react was Twilight the nerdy young girl of the group “Sunset your here, How are you feeling?” The other main 6 followed to see there friend. Sunset smiled at them and reassures that “Yes girls I’m OK, everyone thanks for worrying but I just got a bit tired that’s all, I just needed some rest”.

Dash was happy to hear that “Yeah yeah the doctor said the same thing so we waited a bit but now that you’re here we can start!!” She jammed her guitar and.... Before they could pony up and restart their band session Vice-Principle Luna entered the music room.

“I’m sorry girls but it’s time to close up, it’s already 7:30 in the evening you better get home” Luna proclaimed but Dash was against it “What? You’re kidding we just got here”

Luna was in agreement “Yes I know it seems someone in our school pull a prank and decided to delay each of our school time piece for 3 hours, go ahead look outside and compare your watches with the Town Hall, in comparison it should be more accurate. Now if you’ll excuse me, the staff and I need to correct all the clocks in this school by tonight.”

Everyone look at their watches and cell phones then the window it was getting dark. That was weird, specially Sunset’s her time in her watch and cell phone are delayed for more than 7 hours.

As the main 7 was busy packing up there instruments Twilight Sparkle was the first to say “Girls I don’t think it’s possible to delay every time piece here in school?”

Pinkie Pie was the next to comment “I don’t knooooowwwww” Her eyes shifts to Sunset in suspicion and said” Sunset did you bring something with you from Equestria today? Like An-alien-that-can-create-rifts-to-trap-us-in-a-bubble-of-interdimensional-energy-that-can-put-us-in-a-space-that-locks-time?” saying so in quick succession that no one in the group bothered listening too.

Rarity look at Sunset worried because “Well darling yesterday after school, you gave us all a text that you wanted to visit Equestria because...You never gave us a good reason.

Sunset was confuse by this “What? a text?”

Twilight stop what she’s doing and walk near Sunset and ask “Sunset, today when we were having our 4th period you suddenly screamed. It scared me a bit but that’s not the most frightening part”

Dash finishes packing and “That stunt you pulled Sunset even I would notice something was off. Be honest Sunset how exactly did you get to class? You weren’t in homeroom, until 3rd period when we were having class I remembered looking at your empty seat but when Miss Shirley called me and I couldn’t answer. There you where having a mental breakdown, care to explain yourself?”

Sunset was having a hard time trying to remember and she’s being barrage by her friends with all these questions “I’m sorry girls it’s just that I don’t know what happened exactly either.” She looks down sadness forming on her face and apologeticly says “I’m sorry, I truly am”

Twilight walks over to her friend and hug her. she said “You don’t need to do these things alone. We’re your friends and we’re here for you, so next time something like this happen takes us with you. Please”

Pinkie was ecstatic “Yeah! Next time we can go visit Equestria and party non-stop!!”

Sunset remembers why she refuse to bring them now “No it’s too dangerous there. * Dash was crossing her arms and giving a mean look at Sunset. Trying to give a proper explanation “well we can (gosh how do I explain this properly) since we have these geodes we could go there for a visit but promise me when you girls see yourselves you guys will run towards the opposite direction”

AJ gives off this face that needs to have clarifications “Why the hay for?”

Sunset began to explain the same explanation she heard from Princess Twilight of Equestria. “It was the law of causality. The Princess and her friends went to another alternate reality of their world. Where they have doubles of their own existence because it doesn’t follow what we call the worlds will. Reality tried to mend itself with the other alternate reality turning into one or destroying the other, so she stops going there saying it was dangerous.”

Pinkie smiled and proclaimed “Ohh I get it, it totally make sense now”

AJ was unconvinced “Ya do?”

Twilight tried to explain to AJ what the law of causality is the law of identity applied to action. All actions are caused by entities. The nature of an action is caused and determined by the nature of the entities that act; a thing cannot act in contradiction to its nature” she smiled and adjusted her glasses giving off a college level explanation but AJ, Rarity, Fluttershy and Rainbow didn’t understand any of it.

Sunset face palmed “it’s ok Twilight you tried, listen girls it’s like this. For example I came here to this world and ruined all your friendship during the first year of school right? Imagine if I didn’t came here? Then all of you would all still be friends and Rarity might have been the princess of Canterlot High for the last year.

AJ raise an eyebrow to that “So that’s yer reason huh?” Sunset suddenly realize what she said and was embarrass for it. Aj reassured her and said “nothin to worry about Sugar cube, water under the bridge.”

Bang!!!! Everyone reacted only to see Fluttershy drop a piece of drum kit. Dash sighted “Shy let me handle those” and with that Fluttershy runs towards Sunset and gave her a big hug trying to console her. “I think you just had a bad dream its ok, there’s nothing bad here.”

Everyone followed Fluttershy’s lead and made a group hug, after that heart warming friendship bonding the group tidied up finish their packing and headed home. After a week has passed the main 6 have gotten the Geodes from Camp Everfree and thinking this story would come to an end.

It was simply fate giving the girls a chance to fight back to what’s coming.
