CHAPTER 8: A normal day for a Tenno

Orokin Vault Library “TOME OF KNOWLEDGE”

After killing the Orokin Executor the Tenno was unsure on what to do next, his purpose in this world was to prevent its destruction and he believe that the cause of it was the Orokin but it seems that the Orokin wasn’t the enemy rather an ally that was simply waiting for the Tenno’s arrival.

Exia grumbled and said “I’m still going to kill him either way, not really interested what an Executor has to say but I really need his help right about now”

Exia has spent the whole day trying to understand the codex and research materials the Executor made over the decade in order to figure out why an extinct civilization from the Origin System are setting their base in a different universe and somewhere in this millions of books and data lies the answer.

28 hrs has pass and after reading 1/3rd of the data the Tenno encounters a problem and said “This is taking too long, I don’t have time to learn new letters and language!! What the Hell is this English, when I was talking to Sunset I was speaking in Orokin right?! Ordis are you done with your transmutation? HELP ME!!!!” Exia cried for help trying to pass this task to his trusted Cephalon.

In the center of the room a majestic blue Cephalon covered in golden aura was taking shape. In his new form the Cephalon still has his bluish white casing but covered in golden patterns that glow like the sun, a white and blue orbs revolving around him like moons and the cracks on his outer shell was fully repaired. The Tenno was amazed with this sight and couldn’t help but be impress to his Cephalon’s new form “Wow amazing you’re as big as Cephalon Simaris”

In a serene voice Ordis replied with “Yes star child I ‘am complete how may I serve you?”

Exia showed his biggest and brightest smile like a child receiving a new toy to play with and ask “I want to learn more about this new world and its civilization basically I’m giving you the task to sort all data from here and when you’re done, I want to go outside and explore this new planet myself”

“May I know your parameters for your search Star Child?” the Cephalon inquired for more detail.

“Any common knowledge would do in order for me to live in this world, I want to enter this planet and blend in learn what I can and stop the Orokin or any other life form that threaten this worlds piece something tells me a Tenno won’t be enough to stop what’s coming.”

“I understand star child beginning data compilation now” Cephalon Ordis shined a bit as he tries to get all available information in the World Wide Web and it just so happens that the Cephalon started with a child’s psychological growth.

“Good you’re getting it! Tell me when you’re done I need to master this hand writhing”

The Tenno carried on as he was so focus on his work that only after reaching the last letter in the alphabet he notice someone was missing “Ordis where’s Ordan Karris with the Loki Specter? He was supposed to meet me here after his done reconfiguring the specters to his controls”

Appearing in his HUD Ordan Karris replied to his Operator “forgive me for running ahead of you to this planet star child but I have found the continent that the Executor belong to and it seems that we have an issue at hand that needs your direct attention”.

The Queens Forest

Ordan Karris bullet jump to the tallest tree in forest in his Loki Vapor Specter. His gaze fell on the most suspicious wooden cottage in the middle of the woods with arm guards on watch and a dark and mysterious hooded person leisurely walking towards them. “If one person is that confident to walk into a group of armed gunman then” Ordan Karris was an assassin in his past life and from his instincts alone he knew this will be a one sided slaughter.

Wild vines and tree branches are preying upon the guards that stood on watch on the wooden cottage in the middle of the forest as a dark hooded figure was leading the plants towards them like black magic.

Inside the cottage a young man named Prince BlueBlood a noble young man that was suppose to inherit the United Kingdom, he has blond silky hair and blue eyes, he wore a white gorgeous suit and something that wasn’t suppose to exist in this world a Primed Syandana.

His joy came from the news that “Is it true Don Von Variik is dead? Do you know what this means? I can finally return as the rightful heir to this Kingdom, I won’t be a puppet to that high and mighty Orokin which means I don’t need this symbol of my family’s shame!!” In his joy the prince leisurely threw the Syandana at the fire place.

A female agent dress in a black sharp suit tries to rescue the golden fabric and tried to reason with his liege and her name was Fleur de Lis, she was tall and at one glance anyone would peg her for a super model. She has pink hair and purple eyes. She was trying to persuade her liege to see reason “my prince please there’s a reason why your family has task me and a few others to assist you to flee to another country it’s because of the Death of the Don that you are no longer safe in this country. I fear that it’s only a matter of time before the Orokin decides to end you. So please we should...”

Grarghh... Bang... Bang...

Gunshots was heard outside the room and in the next moment silence, Fleur drew her handgun and slowly walks towards the door as she was about to open the locks there was someone shrouded in a dark cloak that was sitting in the window.

Fleur rush in between the mysterious person and the prince pointing the gun at the intruder

The mysterious person said in an African accent “Prince Blueblood is this betrayal I see or do you simple want to be free?” the mysterious person put away her hood and revealed a female who was covered in white and silver paint that covered her face and entire body.

Prince Blueblood was so shock he can’t believe it when he pronounce her name “Z-Zacora?”

Agent Fleur could not believe what she heard as she froze for a moment in cold sweat but she needed to ask “The Shaman?! Why are you here?”

Zacora smiled “To see a Royal conspire against the Empire too bad it’s a shame but all of you will die in gunfire”. Zacora snap her fingers and the door to the room suddenly burst open and a group of people tied by vines, wooden branches and there face are covered in leafs. They move as if the vines are the strings controlling their actions, all of them are now pointing there gun at the Fleur and the Prince.

Zacora smirk and said her farewell “Good bye dear Prince and blame the traitor I was convince, your death is certain take a breath, I shall come back and collect your head” with that she turned and jumped out of the window. What follows was *BANG,BANG,BANG* a barrage of gunfire.

The Liset flew to the edge of the Queens forest and drop down a Excalibur Warframe with the Excalibur Pendragon Helmet and the Dex Skin, equip with its Galatine Prime for its melee, the Dread for its primary, Akvasto for its secondary weapon and his companion for new world is the Sentinel Helios Prime. Oberon parkour towards the dark forest headed straight to the waypoint Ordan Karris set up.

Zacora jump out of the window evading the shower of bullets, casually walking to the front door giving it a knock like any civilize person would do, no answer, it did made her grin in satisfaction but when she opened the door someone unexpected appeared in front of her. It was the princess that gave the Tenno Riven mods for his Warframes.

Zacora was speechless she was “Princess Fate?! The prince--”

The princess of fate raises her hand disrupting Zacora and said “I’m here to prevent your death Zacora and the revenge you seek isn’t here so please leave.”

Zacora was dumbstruck by these turn of events but she cannot disobey someone from the Orokin Council “As you wish your highness but if this is trick then you will end up in the list” and with those parting words Zacora turned around and was about to leave but right in front of her was Excalibur.

Zacora stop dead in her tracks, she was cautious about this monster in front of her, dawned in red and black color, simply staring at it was frightening. It was like a spitting image of monster created by Death that was soak in the blood if its enemies. Zacora was about to reach something in her bag when --

The Princess of fate was the first to speak in this face off
“You’re finally here Tenno welcome to the Queens forest, I have a new mission for you” She on the other hand presented another Riven Warframe Mod trying to shift the Tenno’s attention away from Zacora but The Tenno was focus on Zacora and in turn making her anxious.

While on the other hand the Tenno’s mind was “What is she? According to my Codex Scans she’s African but why does she resembles a Zebra? The humans in this day and age are weird”

On his HUD his personal Cephalon answered “its paint Operator maybe it’s part of there *BARBARICCC—Pzzttt* traditional culture that she follows and we must respect that. Ohhh A new Riven mod is being offered to us again Operator, what a joyous occasion”

The Tenno shifts its gaze towards the Princess giving Zacora room to breathe; he walked towards the Princess accepting the Mod when suddenly a cottage door was thrown at him. The Tenno reacted by slicing the door in half with his Galatine Prime, the Tenno was stunned when he saw who threw the door at him it was... “STAY AWAY FROM THE PRINCESS!!!” shouted Fleur de Lis but instead of a suit she was covered in armour that was slowly forming in her body it was Nemesis with a large double-ended blade.

Nemesis threw her weapon like a glaive towards Zacora aiming for her head and on instincts Excalibur protected Zacora using his first ability slash dash to deflect Nemesis’s main weapon throwing it back at her, Nemesis on the other hand jump towards her weapon grabbing it mid-air and positioning herself in front of the Princess protecting her in a guard stance.

The Tenno was shock to see that transformation because he knew this was no ordinary Nyx Nemesis somehow it was different. He took the guard stance with his Galatine Prime while protecting Zacora, instead of attacking the Helios Prime secretly use – Synthesis Scanner – beep* scan complete - “Send me the details later Ordi---”

The reply didn’t come from his Cephalon in his personal Liset, it came from the Orokins Warship’s Cephalon “Star child that Warframe has an active technocyte virus in its melee weapon although you and your frame are already immune I would still suggest destroying it, proceed with caution as you do so”.

Nemesis and Excalibur hands are glowing and was about to use one of their abilities but stop midway when the princess made a loud clap from her hands and everyone here stared at her “Fleur I appreciate your enthusiasm but, you are being disrespectful to our esteemed guest”

Fleur insist and said “Guest?! Princess she is Zacora the shaman who tried to use voodoo magic to assassinate Prince Blueblood and is now in control of one of the children of Hayden Tenno, We can allow her to live.”

Excalibur replied with a rebuke “Who’s Hayden never heard of him, I am a Tenno warrior of the blade and gun, Masters of the Warframe armor and sworn protector of the origin system. You on the other hand Nyx are a traitor and an embarrassment for attacking un-armed civilian. As a Tenno I could have your head rolling on the ground but seeing as I am the outsider here I will let it slide.” Fleur was speechless a controlled puppet shouldn’t be able to speak moreover.

Fleur ask in confusion “You don’t know Hayden and yet you claimed to be a Tenno? But most of all who’s Nyx?”

The Tenno was speechless for a good 2 minutes when “Ordis I know where both speaking in English but I still feel we are having some sort of miscommunication will you tell Ordan to link with me after his done with the Prince and his guards?”

Fleur was enraged when the Tenno mentioned the Prince, hatred boiling in her eyes as her weapon was pointed at him and she creamed with so much hate “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH PRINCE BLUEBLOOD AND MY COLLEAGUES!!”

The princess made a sigh and said “Zacora as you can see we are quite busy at the moment so you are dismiss leave, the royal family has nothing to do with Variiks death and I will forget your action against the royal family but if you still want to die feel free to stay.”

Zacora made a short bow and said “I shall leave you all for today, farewell and have a nice day” as she was about to leave “remember this princess I shall exact my revenge to whoever killed the Don, even if it was only a pawn”. Zacora disappeared as the sun begins to appear giving light to the Queens forest.

Excalibur look at Fleur’s Nyx Nemesis Warframe as it suddenly turns into a black suit, she drop down to her knees breathing heavily and started to sweat all over her body feeling the burden on using a Warframe “I can’t believe Hayden Tenno use these things in the entirety of the Lasria mission.”

The princess made a soft giggle and said “He had a little extra when he became a Warframe that’s why it was easier for him” She reach out her hand in order to help Fleur “I’ll explain everything inside, now come with me.” Her gaze shifted on ExiaTrailblaze “You too Exia”

The Princess helps Fleur stand up assisting her on walking inside the cottage, the Tenno followed them inside but was stop by the Princess and ask “Are you going inside my home while wearing that?”

“Fine” he answered, using Transference the Warframe glowed with red light on his energy patterns and using that as a gate the Operator walk out of his frame and proceeded inside the cottage.

Fleur was dumstruck her eyes was as big as saucer and hands was pointing at the Warframe and its Operator while looking at the Princess for clarification on what she saw.

The Princess look at Fleur and she simply smiled, as she gave her a simple explanation “Don’t worry Fleur his not one of the children of Hayden, Exia is an alien from a different universe.”
