Spike's Adventure through the Digital World (Dusk Edition)

Spike woke up in Tamer Home and made himself a cup of coffee. He needed to get his head straight after the night he had with Antylamon. He did have feelings for her, but he wasn't sure the relationship was a good idea. It might cause one of them getting hurt trying to protect each other in battle. But for now, he wanted to train so he could get used to his new Champion form, Guerilladramon. He went over to the Union Room and asked Twilight, "Hey sis, do you think you could help me with something?"

Twilight nodded, "Sure, what's up?"

Spike explained, "When I was in Loop Swamp the other day, I was able to Digivolve into my Champion form. I'd like to spar with somebody for a little while to get used to the new form. Do you think you could help me find a sparring partner?"

Twilight smiled lightly, "Of course, I'll call you on your Digivice when I've found a suitable sparring partner."

Spike smiled, "Thanks sis." before heading back out into Darkmoon City. He decided to check out Dark Area East, wanting to see some of the shops out there.

While Spike was shopping for Equipment, the storekeeper, Wizardmon asked him, "Hey, you're the Tamer who beat SkullBaluchimon, aren't you?"

Spike nodded, "Yes, that's me. Why?"

Wizardmon explained, "I have a friend who has a long-held grudge against SkullBaluchimon, and he's been looking for you ever since we heard about SkullBaluchimon being defeated by a Union Tamer. He's very eager to meet the Tamer who took down SkullBaluchimon."

Spike smiled lightly, "Well, what's your friend's name? I'd be happy to meet him."

"My friend is WaruSeadramon, and he's been hanging out in Loop Swamp to see if SkullBaluchimon would return for a rematch with you."

Spike's eyes widened when Wizardmon told him the Digimon looking for him was WaruSeadramon. "WaruSeadramon? You mean... the WaruSeadramon? The one who protected Darkmoon City from Lucemon?"

Wizardmon nodded, "The same one. He's been looking for a Tamer he deems worthy of being his partner, and when he heard about SkullBaluchimon's defeat at the hands of a Union Tamer, he seems to think he's finally found the one."

Spike smiled, "Well, I'll go see if I can find him in Loop Swamp." before heading out to the Dark Terminal to head to Loop Swamp.

As Spike explored the swamp to find WaruSeadramon. He saw a strange looking portal and walked over to it, "What is this? This wasn't here the last time we were here..." He thought to himself, "I can sense virus data coming from this portal... If I go into it, it's going to be tough in there." but nodded, "I have a feeling this will take me to WaruSeadramon, but I still have a bad feeling." before going into the portal.

When they arrived in a strange place, SkullMeramon came out and looked around, "This place... I've heard of places like these called Chaos Zones... I'm not sure this is a good idea boss. Gatomon hasn't have a vaccine strong enough to protect you from all the virus data in here."

Spike coughed loudly, "Yeah, that's why we should get to the other side quick." before running through the area as fast as he could before succumbing to the pain caused by the virus data. As he fell to the ground, he grabbed his head screaming in pain. "I can't take it anymore!"

Suddenly, another portal opened up and a voice from the other side said,, "Hurry up!"

Spike struggled to get to the other portal, nearly passing out as he fell into it. As he found himself back in Loop Swamp, he gasped for air and tried to sit up. Antylamon came out of her Digi-Card and told Spike, "Rest master, the Chaos Zone did a number on you."

The voice that came from the portal said, "Your partner is right. You need time to recover. Here, take this. It's some vaccine data. It won't cure you, but it'll get you on your feet."

Antylamon took the flash drive and inserted it into Spike, who finally caught his breath and could sit up. When he sat up, he saw the voice who helped them was WaruSeadramon, "WaruSeadramon!? You helped me?"

The sea-serpent Digimon nodded, "I'm sorry about the Chaos Zone. Had I known it would do this to you, I would never have opened it. I'll close it up right now." before shooting a beam of light into the portal, sealing it shut. "So, you must be the Tamer that defeated SkullBaluchimon. Again, I'm sorry about the Chaos Zone. I created it since I thought only the bravest Tamers would enter it. You're even braver than I was expecting considering what it did to you."

As Spike listened to WaruSeadramon, he nodded, "Yeah, SkullBaluchimon was still tough to beat though. Why are you so interested in that though?"

WaruSeadramon sighed, "SkullBaluchimon and I used to be partners, but when we were on a dangerous job, it was either saving me, or completing the job, and he betrayed my trust. I survived, barely, but I never forgave SkullBaluchimon, and I never will."

"Oh... I'd be angry with him too if it were me, someone who I considered a friend putting the mission over his friend. So, Wizardmon told me you were looking for a Tamer who you considered worthy of being your partner... Do you mean me?"

WaruSeadramon nodded, "Well, beating SkullBaluchimon is no easy feat. But I want to test you myself. Show me your power, those strange Digimon you use, I want to battle with them."

Spike gulped lightly, "Y-You want to battle Guerilladramon?"

WaruSeadramon nodded again, "Yes, he's the one who dealt the final blow, that's the one I want to face. Is there a problem?"

Spike sighed, "No, I don't mind that you want to face Guerilladramon, it's just... Guerilladramon isn't just a Digimon, him and I are the same being."

WaruSeadramon raised an eyebrow, "What do you mean? Are you saying that you are Guerilladramon?"

Spike nodded and explained, "I'm not fully human. A Digimon named Grimmon created me 20 years ago, I have human DNA, Draconian DNA, and some of Grimmon's DNA Data. That's why the Chaos Zone was causing so much trouble, it corrupts my internal data and causes me to exhibit symptoms of a bad cold. Guerilladramon is my Champion form, I first took that form in my battle against SkullBaluchimon. But I don't know how to achieve it again."

WaruSeadramon smirked, "Well, I happen to know of a special item that lets Digimon Digivolve instantly. I don't have one, but they form in the murkiest waters of Loop Swamp. Consider it a test, if you can find it and Digivolve to Guerilladramon, you'll be one step closer to proving yourself to me."

Spike nodded, "I'll do it!"
