The Electric Defender

"Loooggannn," a soft voice said, "Loogaann," Logan was trying his hardest to open his eyes. "Come on Logan we're here" Logan finally opened his eyes.

"So tired," he groaned

"Of course you're tired," Fluttershy said "After all you fell from the sky and you recovered quickly that must have taken alot of your energy, then you killed all the timberwolves on the train, and you only got a total of four hours of sleep so far. That's probably why your tired."

"Thank you for summing that up," Logan said, "And I didn't kill all of them; I killed most of them. the guards killed one of them."

"Plus the two that came when you left." Fluttershy said. Logan noticed a dark spot in the carpet floor.

"Fluttershy, what's that?" Logan asked gesturing to the dark spot.

"That's where I slept," Fluttershy said, "I got scared and thought that more timberwolves were going to attack. So I slept with you."

"But nothing happened right?" Logan felt a little stupid for asking.

"Um, no, well, yes," Fluttershy said, "you see I was just curious and thought it couldn't hurt so I-" Fluttershy gestured toward Logan's pants.

"Oh no, hell no, you didn't-" Fluttershy nodded her head,"oh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh!!!" Logan was interrupted by violent giggling. He looked over to see Twilight and friends giggling. "DON'T TELL ME ALL OF YOU TOO!!!" the mares stopped then looked at each other and started laughing hysterically.

"It was a joke silly," Pinkie said.

"I don't find it funny!" Logan shouted, "You almost gave me a heart attack! Do you know how terrifying that is? Just what would you think if you heard this 'wake up Pinkie we're almost at are destination, oh and by the way, you did the deed with a human while you were asleep'"

The five mares looked at Pinkie and started laughing even harder. Pinkie turned scarlet. "Ah, ah, ah can't breathe." Panted Applejack between laughs.

"Okay," Logan said, "We cool?" The six mares nodded

"Can we ask you a few questions?" Rainbow dash asked, "Like how are you so good at fighting?"

"And how did you hit that timberwolf in the face with an axe?" Applejack asked.

"And darling how did you survive?" Rarity added

"First off fighting doesn't take all guts and force, alot of it is also planning, like when an enemy swings at you're head from the side you have two three options: one, duck and deliver a low blow; two, move back and deliver a high blow; or three, take the hit. Once your enemy starts to get wounded he starts to throw strategy out the window, that's when you can start to finish him or her off."

"But what about-" Applejack started.

"I know I didn't forget your question," Logan said reassuringly, "When throwing that axe you have to know your distance and where to aim."

"How do you aim," Rainbow asked doubtingly.

"When you're swinging an axe from the bottom, there is going to be lots of momentum at the head if you swing it hard enough. You just need to let go of that momentum at the right moment. Pointing your arm at your target usually works."

Rarity open her mouth to speak but Logan stopped her, "I didn't forget about your question either. When your life is on the line you need to try to be perfect. Your motivation, not dying... and preventing others from dying." Logan finally brought up his questions to ask. "So where are we going? I never bothered to ask."

"We're going to see the princesses," Twilight said looking proud that she answered the question.

"That doesn't sound like a town to me," Logan said.

"It's called Canterlot, it's the capital Equestria." Twilight said.

"You seem to know alot of stuff about where we're going." Logan said, "have you been there before?"

"I used to live there," Twilight said proudly, "I became princess Celestia's pupil then she sent me to Ponyville to learn about the magic of friendship."

"Princesses?" Logan said, "What is this a fairy tale? What's their special talents? One is good at sucking the other is good at blowing. It gives a whole new meaning to royal affairs." All of them had their jaw dropped except for Pinkie who was laughing with a few snorts in between. "See Pinkie gets it" none of them responded, "Okay I'm sorry for insulting your princesses. So what is their special talents?"

"Princess Celestia raises the sun and Princess Luna raises the moon." Twilight said.

"I've always had this obsession about the moon and space and... the whole world!" Logan said, "The moon is so mysterious and beautiful, space is interesting you're weightless in space, and the world... so many things to do so many sights to see. The world is just... awesome."

"What are you most obsessed about," Pinkie asked curiously.

Logan thought for a moment, "The moon." He walked to the back of the car and stared up at the moon in wonderment. He remembered a song he heard on the discovery channel called the world is just awesome. Logan started to hum the song and immediately got it stuck in his head.

"Watcha singin'?" Pinkie asked.

"A song that got stuck in my head," Logan answered

"Ooh lets hear it," Pinkie said.

"No no" Logan said.

"Yes yes" Pinkie insisted, the other mares joined in.

"Fine fine." Logan said, "It starts off with two astronauts"

Rainbow interrupted "What are astronauts"

"They're like... pilots but they fly into space and sometimes the moon. They're looking at the world and it's so cool. 'never get old huh' 'nope?' it kinda makes you want to-' 'break into song' yup'" Logan broke into a song unfamiliar to the ponies.

The mares looked at Logan in wonderment.

"You have a lot of things to love," Pinkie said Logan nodded his head.

"So what kind of technology do you have?"

"The princesses have computers and Ponystation 3." Twilight said. "What technology do you have."

"Technology that I own," Logan said, "I have two old computers, a TV, and a laptop in my backpack" Logan pressed to power button but nothing happened "that is dead. technology I don't own: Cars, trains, planes, Cell phones. so many things."

"Are you a prince?" Pinkie asked

Logan laugh, "No, I'm not a prince our system of government doesn't have king or queens it's more complicated. I'm just a normal 15 year old, well sorta normal"

"Now arriving at Canterlot." a voice in a loudspeaker said.

"Oh good," Logan said, "You have loud speakers."

They walked out of the Canterlot train station. Logan follow behind Twilight looking at all the buildings. There must be hundreds of them. Then he noticed that the other ponies had looks of terror, sadness, and anger. "Twilight," Logan whispered, "put the restraints on my wrists."

"What why?" Twilight asked.

"I've seen the looks on other ponies faces." Logan said.

"I don't understand." Twilight said.

"Think about this," Logan said, "You see an enemy walk into your capital but with no restraints."

"My immediate thought would be that the war is over or terms of surrender are to take place." Twilight said

"But you don't know who is surrendering." Logan said.

"No restraints" Twilight insisted.

As they were walking along something hit Logan in the back of the head. Turned around and saw an apple coming down he caught it. 'This is probably what hit me in the head.' Logan thought he looked around and found a pony at and apple stand giving him an angry glare. Logan looked at the apple. Then began eating it. he hadn't eaten anything since he was sucked into this world.

"That backfired," Logan said, and caught up with Twilight. Finally they stopped at a big door with guards in front. They didn't see Logan so they opened the door. They and let the six in then were distracted by a pegasus flying too close to the palace as they closed the doors Logan barely squeezed through.

Logan was far behind and ran to catch up. They stopped in front of another large door with no guards. Twilight knocked on the door and waited. Then a white pony with a horn and wings opened the door, her mane and tail were a sparkling with mixed colors, Light blue on top, aquamarine, more light blue then light pink.

She frowned at Logan and pointed her horn at him which started to glow. She was going to laser him or something it was obvious she was charging an attack. Logan grabbed her horn with his thumb and pointer finger by the end and tilted her head up so that she was looking at him and her attack was aimed at the ceiling. Logan smiled and waved. Celestia had a surprised look on her face. It then returned to her frown and she aimed at Logan again.

Logan tilted her horn up again. Celestia put it down. Logan put it up. Celestia put it down. Logan got an idea. he pushed her horn down a little. Celestia put it all the way up. *pew* she shot the ceiling.

"Let's start in a non-violent way," Logan said. In response Celestia pointed her horn at him again and began charging quicker. 'She's just going to keep aiming at me until she hits, that means I have to let her. This is gonna smart.' he thought to himself. Celestia was almost done charging. Logan sighed, "It's nice to meet you too."

*pew* Celestia shot. Logan went flying across the large room. He flew 150 feet before hitting a wall making a dent in the stone. Logan opened his eyes slowly. "Ooh that burned." Logan groaned. The dent was at lest two and a half stories up and was deep enough to sit in. Logan sat down with his legs crossed and rubbed his head.

"Are you okay," Rainbow Dash asked flying up and looking at Logan, Celestia had a look of suprise and terror.

"Y-you can control their minds?!" Celestia said shocked Rainbow Dash.

"Uh, sorta," Logan said, "It's more popularly know as making some friends. I can't believe you sent Twilight to study friendship, you should have went if this is how you introduce yourself: with a laser!" The mares started giggling. Celestia gave them a big scolding face which made them all stop and look away.

"What is all the noise, sister," a voice said, another pony with a horn and wings. She was dark blue with a starry dark blue mane and tail which were surrounded by clear dark blue, and her eyes, Logan had seen others with blue eyes but he never felt as calm as when he was looking at her eyes. ' Is this what they felt when they said they felt calm looking into my eyes?' Logan wondered, 'I could stare at those eyes forever.'

Logan was snapped out of his trance when the dark pony screamed "Human!" the dark pony started to charge an attack.

"Oh... crap." *pew* the dark pony made the dent in the stone deeper. Logan's groaning voice echoed out from the dent, "It's nice to meet you too." Logan noticed the two magic beams felt different, Celestia's was very hot and probably burned him, the dark ponies was freezing and gave him freeze burn as if it were dry.

'Why is this wall so thick, and how did I make a dent in it without being killed' Logan wondered. He kicked the stone and it broke. 'It's weak stone. It's not for defense it's for looks.'

"No no, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna stop!" Twilight shouted. "He's nice, he's good to us."

"Oh really," Luna said, "Tia, did you tell them what the last human did when he came here?"

Celestia shook her head, "You didn't even tell me why you wanted to see the human. and why humans are dangerous" Twilight said, "It just said, bring the human to Canterlot, and be careful humans are dangerous."

"Long ago," Celestia started, "Before Luna was banished the first human came to Equestria. We welcomed him in then he disappeared for a year and came back with an army and tried to take over Equestria. He almost won."

"Why say almost?" Logan asked, "Almost isn't completely, so just say he lost, it's that simple. What was this guy wearing when he came here?"

"Why do you need to know? Luna asked.

"'Cause it might give me hints as to which time period he cam from."

"He was wearing chain mail armor all around with iron helmet, chest plate, leggings, and boots. He also had a sword and shield." Luna said.

"He was probably from the medieval or dark ages." Logan said, "No wonder he tried to take over your land. In those times everyone was trying to gain land. That's what the textbook told me. All the land has be taken for a long time, the only wars are in developing countries and countries with corrupt government."

Logan walked to the edge of the dent and looked down, "That's quite a drop." he said.

"You need me to carry you down?" Rainbow asked.

"Can you hold my weight?"

"I'll try" Logan let Rainbow grab him from under the arms and slowly began the descent "So... heavy" They were still a half story up small enough of a drop.

"Rainbow let go," Logan said. Rainbow let go and Logan landed on one knee with his hands as extra cushioning. 'Always wanted to do that,' he thought to himself.

Logan stood up and the six mares rushed to him to see if he was alright.

"Twilight Sparkle!" Celestia scolded, "Get away from the human right now!"

Twilight hesitated, "No!" she shouted. "He saved everypony's lives on the train ride here from timberwolves, even the guards." Luna looked at Logan's clothes it was true. Not only were there countless holes in his pants and shirt but his clothes had his blood and was covered in green timberwolf blood. Luna was thankful that Logan saved them, even though he was a human. Celestia, however, didn't care.

Celestia's horn glowed ready to teach her disobedient student a lesson.

"Hey princess Molestia," Logan said trying to get her attention and tire her out. Luna snickered trying to hold a laugh

"What did you just call me?!" She shouted.

"Come get some," Logan taunted sticking his tongue out. Luna started to laugh

Celestia didn't bother charging she shot and Logan dodged it. "She's the co-ruler of Equestria, yet she can't even hit the inside of a barn." Luna doubled over still laughing. Celestia charged Logan trying to impale him on her horn. Logan ran to the wall and just before she hit him he moved out of the way. Celestia rammed into the wall she tried to look at Logan but she couldn't her horn was stuck in the wall.

Celestia finally noticed Luna was laughing "My sides," she said between laughs, "I have not laughed this hard since I scared Rainbow Dash on nightmare night."

Logan looked at Celestia, "Here let me help you," he said thinking the rage was over. Logan got her horn out, "There we go! Now that we're done accusing-" Logan was stopped when Celestia impaled him in the stomach with her horn.

"No sister!" Luna shouted firing a bolt of lightning at her causing Celestia to withdraw her horn. Logan dropped to his knees putting pressure on the wound to keep blood in to no avail as the blood seeped between his fingers. Logan fell to his side the last thing he saw was Luna standing over him. "I got stop this black out streak." he said quietly. Luna giggled, then he blacked out.
