Creating a voice box is hard, it may not sound like it but it is. The source of the problem is that you can choose your voice and sadly, no one ear a voice the same way, or at least you don't hear your voice like other do wich explain why after 4 hour of me playing voice semple after voice sample all the woman present couldn't agree on one, even freelock was uncertain, in the end i started focusing on my new weapon and since we were in the hangar i was able to start putting it together.

"I think we can agree that the voice of this hinata is unsuited for our new friend freelock here, Esdeath is a far better choice, a cold and strong willed woman."said luna with rainbow and rarity nodding along.

"We agree on this point luna but Saber voice fit better, she has this knightley feel to her that Esdeath hasn't instead she feel like a cold blooded brute."said celestia with applejack and twilight agreeing.

"Maybe we should let freelock choose?"fluttershy added in the middle stopping the princesses rant before it could restart.

Said freelock sighed before turning to me,"what would you choose?"

I looked up from the conic shape i was working on,"why not both, i can install both and you switch whenever you want?" i said hoping to end this debate.

""Thats genius!"" said both princess.

'actually since i woke up here and heard your voice hacks it kept nagging at my mind that i heard it somewhere but i can't pin where...'

The whole story and glados personality flashed in my mind.'you...don't want to do experimentation on anyone right?'

-i have not felt any urges to do so kshatriya, should i?

"Nope all's good the way they are! Freelock come here so i update your voice box."

"Hum okay?" just like the rest she looked at me with raised eyebrow but didn't dig deeper.

After a few minutes of work freelock decide to use saber voice most of the time as it was more friendly, she shared with me the data of how equestria had tried to create a new weapon in the form of the silhouette frame, in short they would create a self improving IA and made the best of their pilots fight them pushing them into becoming stronger than any pilot ever and use those to pilot the noble house personal knight frame, nowadays most of those frame are lost to time and freelock is the prototype of them all, she was created as a training partner that would learn and grow stronger with the warrior training with her, she had yet to have a mind of her own and had only one consign, stop fighting when you have won or lost, all the following models had a different set of rules to prevent 'the bug' of occurring, 'the bug' was what led to freelock being taken out of service, from what i understood she became so efficient in fighting thanks to her years of fighting with hundreds of pilots she could tell immediately from the enemy movement when he was getting on position that she would win and so didn't fight anymore, sadly she lacked the mind of her own to explain it and her creator didn't think of that being the reason she wouldn't fight and simply thought she was broken, they put her on the side and built the models used by the noble, but she was left awake and did what she was programmed to do, learn. It led to today where she repaired herself and even upgraded herself.

"So, what will she do from now?"i asked the princesses.

"We can't add her to our force, she is magic reliant and being inside the jammer range would kill her."said Luna while biting her nail.

"Even without that, she was made for training and cannot go against her one rule, she cannot deal finishing blow since the moment she is sure to win she has to stop fighting." Celestia added while thinking.

Everyone was thinking on what to do when pinkie screamed,"i know!"we all looked at her,"she was made to train with pilots right? Then why she doesn't keep doing that, now she can think for herself and give pointer to the newby without really fighting them, and so without going against her rule!"

My eye brightened,"she's right! Beside with the recent loads of materials we got me and Maud should be able to put a decent amount of units together, even if they're only MS."

Twilight looked at her checklists and muttered in thought before smiling,"the guard members we have rescued from Canterlot are too badly wounded to rejoin the rank right now, it could take months even years before they are fully operational, still a lot of troopers with basic MS piloting training have been wanting to join the pilots princesses, it could work."

Celestia looked at Luna who took some time to think thing through and nodded before talking to Freelock,"very well, we shall appoint you to the new recruit training, my sister will have the names of the volunteer brought to you while i get some of my soldier to assist you for the more practical part of the lesson while you provide the Technic."

Freelock put her fist on her chest."i shall not disappoint princesses, i am honored to serve my country once again when it need me."

'so, what do you think of it hacks?' Kshatriya said while looking at the long lance she was holding in her right hands.

'thanks hacks, it's a modified version of the lance of the Gundam Kimaris Vidar fused with the mega beam cannon of the tallgeese 3, this weapon is complex but versatile, the machine gun on it were replaced by two medium range beam machine gun for rapid fire of wide spread beam for fast lightly armored target, the Dainsleif launchers were replaced by medium range beam cannons for target with balanced armor and speed, and finally the lance could split into four almost all the way to the base and spin to fire long range high precision beam with frightening piercing power. The lance also had its own e-cap, a large one too.

'this should prevent another episode of enemy leader being to far from me to shoot.'

-you could have used the mega particle cannon kshatriya.

'too widespread, and the mega particle cannon are too slow and wouldn't have reached her before she dodged, this lance...lets call it gae bolga can shoot a beam at four time the speed of sound, and its a piercing beam not a exploding one so less risk of collateral damage.'

-understood, should we start producing the MS-bb now kshatriya?

'not yet, i made something for me now it's time to re-purpose the alloy used for the old equestrian army to finally give the 'rainbow guides' gundam a plating worthy of their name.'

Me and hacks worked for two day and two night straight only stopping when Maud and her follow workers said hi to us when they joined us in the hangar during the day so they could work on equestria new mass produced MS, by the end of the second day we had changed all the gundam armor aside of the exia's. the exia was pushed to later since luna wanted her bertigo done first as she would leave for dodge city in three day. She would be followed by dash and rarity along with a twenty strong troop of reworked MS, the Jegan D Type, i had given the plan in hope to later mass produce the Stark Jegan one of the few MS to have put pressure on the original kshatriya.

Beside that i also gathered the data from the girls fight and decided to give the sandrock its beam shotel and the wing will be equipped with the tallgeese dober gun, it wasn't as powerful as the buster rifle but the data on dash fights made me think it was too early to give her a weapon with so much potential for destruction, the dober gun was powerful but not in such a big area as the buster rifle could. Pinkie was a hazard, she had done her job perfectly but she seemed unstable, i decided to simply upgrade all her machine gun for beam machine gun and her Gatling for a beam Gatling, even gundanium would suffer from constant direct hit from those let alone mass produced MS cheap armors.

Fluttershy was fine as is even if i admit installing the Invisible Umbrella Stealth System crossed my mind but the deathscythe would lose too much speed from the weight of the emitters spread over its body. The exia wasn't deployed as twilight didn't feel it was needed and so i lacked data to upgrade it, as for the shenlong, i will install her the beam pole-arm but what i heard from rarity thanks to-BECAUSE of those damned record will forever haunt my nightmare, agent 'diamond' my ass, demon would fit her better!

Anyway, by the end of all my work five day later the princess luna was long gone to dodge city and the princess celestia had received troubling news, while the changling had left with the daybreak toward the badland the griffin had started moving, the ship of gilda piercedraft bastard daughter of thorn blackbeak the griffonian emperor, was on the move. Almost all the forces of baltimare would reach ponyville in exactly eight day and with it a battle for survival, celestia had all the ship fluttershy had sent to the everfree gathered and checked for changling and started working on a new plan, ponyville was heavily fortified but lacked in term of fire power capable of fending off battleship, she decided to arm the retrieved ship and form a fleet too but for that she needed something to power them hence why i was still working on something else instead of fixing spike's gafran, thankfully trixie offered to take care of that and her and spike proved to be quite capable of working together when their desire to prove themselves to twilight sparkle made them unit in their endeavor.

"I smell a story there..."

"-should we attempt gathering information kshatriya?"

"No, it's wrong to snoop into others past relation. Beside i have more urgent problem, like this goddamnit *urgh*.piece.of *creak*c-crap!"i finally pushed the final titanium ring in place around the giant Minovsky Ultracompact Fusion Reactor i had been constructing.

"Done! This big boy's bigger than a torohachi, wonder if it still worthy of being named 'ultracompact'?"

"-good work kshatriya, you only need to create enough ship sized e-cap and Minovsky Craft System too equipe all the ships of the equestrian fleet along with drawing the station needed for them to recharge at this reactor.

"Eurgh!"

To solve celestia problem without risking important technologies being lost i decided to equip the ship with very large e-cap to stock mega particle and using the Minovsky Craft System they could fly without using any of the magic using components they have been relying upon till now. This mean they weren't fully autonomous but they would also be a lot faster and safer than before beside i was going to install a few quick to make weapons and a basic i-field on the biggest one, it was the biggest equestrian battleship before the daybreak was made, the morningstar.

It was to be salvaged because it was more of a flagship than a battleship meaning it was a symbolic weapon more than an effective weapon, while it looked like the white base it was completely different on the inside.

In the end, i had to spend no less than 6 day to retrofit everything with maud's and trixie's team help while they worked on the other ship, pinkie for her part proved to be a very competent construction and defense team member by monitoring the mega particle reload station, i made sure to keep the reactor out of weapons and hands reach,i also put a tracker and an auto destruction device in it, i take no chance with this kind of stuff, the gundam series taught me to be careful with technologies. After that it was getting the fleet maned, thankfully, after solving the MS shortage, and making plan to solve the pilots shortage and still suffering the resource shortage, we were spared the competent captain shortage by having not less than 73 old captains among ponyville retirement home, they were more than happy to 'teach by the example' the new generation of captains that we needed by putting their uniform on one last time.

Aside that i finally got to see celestia MS, or rather what was left, from my scan it was probably very close to the Stargazer Gundam but even from celestia description it lacked the "Voiture Lumiere" Propulsion System, not that it mattered since the thing was in pieces, most of the armor was gone and the optical system and torso were gone too.

"They were aiming for the sun spear."celestia seemed sad, but still explained at my questioning glance,"it was the main weapon of the sun-chaser, a chest mounted cannon capable of shooting a powerful beam of burning plasma."

"Uh so that's where chrysalis's mobile armor got its plasma cannon, i was really worried such high power beam weapon were more common than i thought."

Celestia shook her head,"plasma and beam weapon as a whole were equestria strongest asset but they were magic based, now we have started working on it again from a more scientific point ov view but are no longer at an advantage compared to the others races, on the crystal empire front i heard of griffonia MS using plasma weapon, as well as on the minotaur/zebra front, saddle arabia being an ally of ours before know how to deal with beam weapon and it helped them against the grifonia empire, not that it can save them anyway, the griffonia empire need to deal with them to abide with its pact of defense with minotorite, honestly were griffonia forces not spread around half the world we wouldn't have a chance. But its too focused on its war with saddle arabia and the dragon kingdom to do more than pressure the crystal empire into a defensive stance."

"Until now?"

Celestia sighted,"our victory must unnerve them, equestria as faced risk of total defeat more than once and always came out on top, most of the time by the threat being careless. Thorn blackbeak will not risk another front to open and risk straining its already overworked armies, i have no doubt that gilda's force will be far from the rubbish they usually give her this time around, the fact she brought the entirety of her troops show its her last chance to prove herself, knowing thorn death is better than defeat for her right now."

"Any hope to get her to join us?"

her eyes narrowed in thought,"i remember lieutenant dash being a friend of her, but they cut bridge after gilda hurt some of her friends, grifonian are known to be very possessive of what they consider their personal time with loved one, where we equidian believe into sharing said time with all equally, it led to a scuffle and broken friendship, grifonian never 'kiss and make up' if we want her to switch side we need someone she has no past with to earn her respect on the field."

"ok i got the idea but what's this with grifian and ponian?"

"sorry i tend to forget you are new to this planet, grifonian are the name of gilda species, just as equidian is ours, as a side note alicorn is more of a subspecies just like the grifian tail isn't always a lion's but when it is they are 'lion' grifonian and it change to other animals depending on the specie's tail they possess, minotaurus, draconyde, hypogrifian, and many other species have subspecies among them. maybe i should ask twilight to send you some learning material, if you are to one day have your own country you need to learn such thing."

"sure, i'll record everything and go through it in my spare time but for now let's focus on your MS, should i work on repairing it, and if yes can i upgrade it?"

"i have a few specifics but yes and yes."

we talked about what direction her MS would follow and i even had celestia pilots a jegan to get data on her, we finally agreed on repairing the sun-chaser and making it a defense oriented units with a restrained amount of weapons, said weapon would be high power but low fire rate. i decided to try another energy source from gundam but nothing perfectly sure yet, i needed to make some test with the 'voiture lumiere' and said energy source first.

in the end it was a charged week and a half and i had a hunch it wasn't going to slow down anytime soon.

how right i was.
