A weapon for hire.

Princess luna's POV

"Close the gate! And send all the troop on the wall! I want the artillery ready to hit them when i want them too!"

A tall woman with hair and a tail like the night sky was giving orders left and right while moving quickly along the road, she had a dark blue skin and pony ears poking out of her hair. All around her peoples with the same additional body part and a wide array of skin color were running to their posts while she moved toward the hangar, she didn't know how the griffin knew of her being here with the supplies but they got their timing good, while they had supplies they didn't even had the time to use them and repair the damaged knight frames and artillery weapons guarding the town, they would fight this battle with only her, the guards she brought and the few weapons on the wall that still worked.

'this town was made to be defended but not against such odd, the scout -those who came back at least- report of at least 20 Aries and a Grandeene in support, its not a simple attack, it's an invasion force who intend to take and keep the town, we cannot afford the loss of more land.'

"Lieutenant dash!"

"Yes princess?!" a blue skinned woman with rainbow hair and tail was looking at the princess from her position on top of a giant robot shoulder, she had spot of grease on her light blue military suit, the suit also had a few armored part like the right shoulder, the legs and the right arm while a smaller piece of armor was added to the chest to protect the heart and lunges, it was an armor who wouldn't hinder movement and protect only the arm used to attack and the mean of movement.

The robot she was standing on was a knight frame, a blue Daughtress Flyer one of the three variant of knight frame used by the royal guard of equestria all were equipped with heat sword and shield and had a 90mm machine gun. A newer model, the daughtress neo was in development but yet to be finished even less produced.

"I want you and the other flyer ready, we are outnumbered 2 to 1 at least and i can't afford to have our group pestered by the enemies aries, make sure your flying group is ready for hit and run counter tactics instead of the direct fight tactics."

Lieutenant dash made a bitter face,"very well princess, i'll got my battalion ready and warned!"

Lieutenant dash reluctance for the chosen tactic wasn't a proof of cowardice, just a realistic viewpoint. Daughtress flyer were more efficient into landing a sudden heavy assault thanks to their higher top speed and better armor. They could land among enemy line and break their formation, but as a Both ground and air unit they had less agility, stability and precision than the aries in the air. And the aries would probably dance around them and use a hit and run tactics and when outnumbered the Casualties could rapidly increase.

"I will make sure the unicorn troops assist you with precision shot, and i will be there too."

Lieutenant dash slammed her fist on her chest."yes princess!"

Luna moved to the next part of the hangar to rejoin the unicorn troops. They were all rounder with better detection system and using Daughtress Command to send the data they gathered to close unit and assist them in the fight, the 2 of them had bazooka which would be useful against the Grandeene if the earth pony troops Daughtress Weapon 500mm canon wasn't enough.

'i hope it is, the resource needed to remake ammunition is becoming scarce. I hope headsearcher shimmer research on plasma technology show result soon.'

After gathering her troop and made sure everyone had their orders she moved to her own knight frame, a relic of equestria age of glory, a Bertigo of her own design named luz de la luna . It was once armed with mana cannon and sword but the negate-net forced her to switch weapon to machine gun and heat sword. She stepped into the cockpit and grabbed the handles.

"Bertigo luz de la luna lancement!"

The knight frame powered up, the new Fusion Reactor used to give him energy struggling to make it work.

'cursed is this negate-net, i miss my old ether reactor.'

The knight frame came out of the hangar followed by the rest of the daughtress, 3 flyer, 2 command and 4 weapon models.

"All of you listen closely, while we have the wall support fire the enemy also as a Grandeen artillery backing them so in the end we are still outnumbered 2 to 1, for me its sound pretty unfair, i mean they are a bunch of grub and we are the elites of equestria, let's show them not to underestimate use!"

""AHOO!!""

While the pony we're moving toward the wall, luna looked at the sky, she could see the brightest shooting star she ever saw from here it almost seemed to glow a fresh apple green.

'are you sending me a sign my dear night? If you could talk to me what would you tell me?'

Kshatriya POV

'leeeeeeeeroy jeeeeeeenkins!!!!!!!'

I screamed as i was spinning toward earth in my teardrop shape, it was so exciting, i was all giddy at the idea to be on my way to my first gundam fight, and i was ready to do it right, i had poses to strike and moves to pull off aplenty from my years of watching gundam!

I couldn't see how the situation was progressing on the surface since it was a little too hot for me to take a peek outside my wings but i am sure it was going alright, they survived without me for a while so they should be alright for the few minutes i need to land. In the meantime i was checking my body for thing the nanobot would have a need to repair after my little frenzy among the asteroid but it came out blank, i was built to last it seem.

So instead i simply looked through the very very extensive data i had about gundam just to satiate my fangirl need of robot.

-update, deploying wings in 18 minutes to amorce slow down, no landing programed switching directly to atmospheric flight when possible.

Just a little more and i'll be entering my first battle! This world will know the might of kshatriya the gundam!
