The Book Of Ass
Keddaso
Previous ChapterNext ChapterPinkie Pie waited patiently as she always did. The sun was out and shining on the fluffy pink fuzz that covered her body. The room was covered in light blue wallpaper which was illuminated by the sun’s rays. There were posters on each wall, one poster per wall to be exact and a poster on the door that lead to the rest of the house. The door poster was a picture of a group of colorful horses about to embark on some grand adventure. The others were of various cute cartoons that Pinkie had no mind to know about. Pinkie was sitting on a small bed neatly made and covered with a comforter that looked like outer space. There was a chest at the end of the bed full of toys every shape and size. There was a desk and a TV on the opposite side of the room the desk was neatly organized with paper and colored pencils on opposite sides of the desk and a simple wooden chair was nestled in its place underneath the desk. The TV was mounted on the wall and underneath it sat an older game console over a decade in age.
There was the sound of songbirds outside, declaring whatever it is that they declare. One sang on the bush by the window unaware of its existence. In the distance, the sound of a squirrel can be heard chattering faintly.
This was all disturbed when the sound of a door opened and closed somewhere in the house and then the sound of people talking. Soothing words from someone sweet and wise and simple answers of someone young an unsure echoed through the house in a faint jumble. After a little bit there were quiet footsteps that got increasing less quiet as they approached the door to the room. The door opened and then closed, the little boy then turned to face Pinkie. He was a little short for his age and his glasses were too thick. His ears also stuck out a little bit and his lips were a little too big. But Pinkie did not care. He had a big grin on his face and he looked straight at Pinkie Pie.
“Hi Pinkie,” he said in an excited lisp which did not bother him at that moment. He knew Pinkie would not judge him.
The boy ran and jumped up on the bed. He sat crisscross applesauce in front of Pinkie so he could properly talk to her.
“I made a friend today,” he began. “You know that kid that always sits by himself? Well finally talked to him and I even ate lunch with him. He is coming over on the weekend. I hope he thinks I’m cool…” The boy broke eye contact with Pinkie before bringing his attention back. “He doesn’t hang around the others so I doubt he is going to be mean like them. I don’t think he has any friends so I hope I can make him feel less lonely.” The boy began to smile and wring his hands together. “We are going to have so much fun together! I will finally have someone to play Mario with and we can watch cartoons. We can even ride bikes even into the scary parts where I’m afraid to go alone…”
He looks off at the far wall.
“I don’t think I could have had the courage to talk to him without you Pinkie. Every time I think of you and how you go out and make friends with everyone, it makes me want to do the same.” The boy adjusted his glasses and looked down intently at Pinkie Pie in front of him.
“Sometimes I feel too different from everyone and no one wants to be around me because of it. Mom and Dad try, but I feel like they don’t understand me either.”
The boy sat Pinkie Pie in his lap. “I wonder if you have ever felt like that.” The boy smiled. “I doubt it. Who wouldn’t want be your friend, Pinkie?”
Pinkie Pie burst into flames.
The boy was too shocked to scream as the fire from his stuffed animal consumed him. His glasses melted to his face and his eyes poured out of his head like candle wax. His skin began to bubble and his muscles cooked to a fine sinew. He was dead before he felt his organs burst inside of him. The boy’s room was next to go as everything combusted and began to turn to cinder. There was crying in another room as the house fell into a lake of flame.
“Mmm, Mmm. Smell that air! Doesn’t that smell delicious? Hi I’m Baker Pee and I am your host of Zao Jun’s Kitchen! Mr. Jun could not make it today since he is on a business trip but worry not people! My baking skills are just as good! Now let’s see what we are cooking today?”
The baker opened the oven to find a melting Gaia.
“Wow that’s looking mighty tasty if I do say so myself, just look at that crust! It’s going to make a fine soufflé when it finishes. What do you think, Farmer Jack? Do you think this soufflé is gonna be scrumptious?”
Silence.
“Oh Farmer Jack you are such a stick in the mud! You really need to lighten up and be less grumpy! Am I right audience or am I right?”
Silence.
“Haha, You hear that Farmer Jack? They agree! Anyway, let’s get back on track. Now, first things first we gotta get the whipped cream ready and prepare the Kudu Ari for our simply delicious meal!”
An Oblivion grabbed the kitchen and devoured it, chewing it into nothing with sharp jagged teeth. She felt it slide down her putrid throat and drop into her stomach. The being stared down at her self-mutilation and then at the symbol whose meaning she perverted. The symbol she thought she served.
The Oblivion spoke:
“We are wrought
In what is naught
And we will rot
Before we find what’s sought.”
