The bird was tall. Taller than any mountain. The bird was wide. Wider than any ocean. The bird was weird. Weirder than any creature. The bird was colorful. More colors than any rainbow. Its legs were long. Longer than any road. Its beak was sharp. Sharper than any knife. Its eye were keen. Keener than any telescope. The bird was power. More power than anything that came before it.
It flew through the air, unstoppable like a hurricane.
There was an animal made to be alone,
What it did was unknown
It inspired awe when it was shown.
Its eyes were deep like a well
They could put the strongest man under a spell
The world would die if she fell
The sky she flew is where she would dwell
They thought her evil, the bird of hell
That it would suck the soul right out of their shell
She cared little for little things
For they did not care about her.
Flying unchanging
As others drifted into the aether
Would she stay or would she go
She usually chose to do neither
Around just enough to tempt those with her power
She would continue to exist until the final hour.
She had been climbing its neck for sometime. It was a long, arduous journey and it took a lifetime. She was very old by the time she reached the top.
“Hello, can you hear me?”
The bird said nothing.
“I need to speak to you!”
The bird turned its large eye towards her.
“Please help me find my friends, I beg you! You are the only thing that I haven’t met that isn’t some vile creature.”
The bird looked away and she thought that it could not understand her tongue.
She sat their giving into her misery, thinking about jumping off when the bird spoke.
“Bok Bok Bikok.”
She watched the bird from its forest of feathers.
She then heard it sing:
“Don’t be afraid to choke your chicken
Go ahead give it a good lickin
You don’t have anything that you could do astickin
Go ahead, slap it about make it shout
Stretch your arms give it some clout
Fuck it up until it pouts
Give it a good whack

Make it feel the shelack

go on the attack

Beat it like a duck until it gives a quack

Trust me you will feel good in the sack

Take your chicken around

Fuck it behind your shack

Then eat it later for a yummy snack.

Bik Bak Bakak

Biff Bok sukok

Bopf Biff Bigstuf”

She gave the bird a sour look.

“Great. You’re mad like everything else here. Just what I needed, more insanity.”

The bird kept flying across eternity. Her hitchhiker kept staring at the ever changing sky.

After a day had past the bird spoke again.

“You need to learn how to take a joke.”

She was startled by the birds speech once again.

“What? You mean that silly song from earlier. As if! It was gaudy and crude.”

“Sorry, I’ve never told a joke before. I’ve never had anyone to share one with.”

“What?”

“No one has talked to me before.”

She could not see the birds face for his head was too massive. But she could here the sorrow in the bird’s voice.

“Well, It's not really my cup of tea. I’m sure someone found it funny.”

“I doubt it.”

“I’m sure you will someone out there who likes your jokes. There is plenty of fish in the sea after all.”

“I do not meet others. All I can do is wait for the end.”

She raised an eyebrow at that. “What do you mean?”

“Do not worry about that.”

She stood there in silence atop the great bird for a moment.

“Could you help me find my friends?”

The bird thought for a moment.

“Climb to the very top of my head and then climb to the highest feather.”

She made ascent, Careful to not hurt her weak old knees. She got to a feather after her slow climb, that stood straight up. She ascended the beautiful spire.

When she got to the top the bird spoke again.

“Do you see it? The Tower.”

She saw a tower whose top could not be viewed.

“What is that?”

בבל

Her head throbbed as the word pierced her skull. She felt blood run from her nose.

“If you reach the top,you will see all. I’m sure you will find your friends then.”

The bird flew towards the tower at the edge of understanding. A giant wasp of the blackest night rose from the dark. Her great wings burned of fire and her belly was swollen with young. It was the twisted spawn of Ah-Muzen-Cab himself tainted by the seed of Angra Mainyu.

The insect was larger than any mountain and dripped with slime and poison.

Her eyes wide and mindless

Her armor thick and jagged.

Her stinger was full of hate

Her brain full of lust for death

She raced toward the Lord of the Sky.

A wicked talon slashed at her wings of fire

And with a harmonious cry the Queen of Birds began to sing:

“Here we are, Here we will

Fight for our lives, let our blood spill

Battle for what we want, what we will take

Let the fury consume us until till we wake

Despoil the flesh with with weapons so grand

Feel thy blood soak into our battle scarred hands

Let wrath tear us both asunder

Leave our wounded bodies for the other to plunder

And Cower at my power like the sound of thunder!”

The sky parted with a single flap of the bird. The wasp goddess came undeterred, Her wings moving as fast as ever. She latched onto the great bird with her black filth stained legs and her cruel spire unsheathed further. Then the great wasp with a powerful thrust sent her stinger into her enemy and violated the bird in the core of her femininity.

The bird let out and anguished cry and pecked the wasp in one of her large soulless eyes. The Wasp let out a bone chilling squeal as its eye shattered like glass and it attempted pump her young into the Great Bird. The Bird ran talon across the horrid insect and took her legs and sliced its belly open.

The children of the wasp flew out of the wasp and assisted their mother.

The Bird felt her eyes grow as the stinger throbbed inside of her and her blood began to fill with poison.

“You must make your way to the tower on your own I can carry you no further. Find your friends and never let anyone keep you from those you love.” The Great Bird said to her companion. The feather which was the companions perch detached from the Bird’s head and floated gently toward the tower whose to could not be seen.

The Great Queen of the sky let out a mighty noise filled with pain and wrath before taking the massive Goddess of Wasp into her talons and then ripped her in half. The bug continued to flail as she tore the insect into even smaller pieces. When the bug goddess was no longer recognizable was when she finally became still. The Bird, now covered in the blood of her enemy, wounded by by the weapon sticking out of her and being stabbed by millions of flying infants then finally fell from the sky and into the waiting void.
