Chapters Beepbeepbeepbeep !!!!!!
A groan was heard from a lump-covered bed as an alarm clock went off. The lump moved around for a bit, and a tan arm reached out. It fumbled around for a bit before finally turning the alarm off.
The lump moved some more, before the blankets were pushed away to reveal a yawning 18 year old boy with brown hair, and blue eyes. He stretched, and was just about to get out of bed when he heard-"Gavin!!! Breakfast is ready!!" A woman yelled from the kitchen.
"Okay mom!! Be there in a minute!" Gavin responded.
He got out of bed, and got dressed, choosing to wear from his wardrobe his Pokémon hat, a shirt with a large fox on it, black shorts, and sneakers. He looked around at his room, which was covered in Pokémon posters, books, and puzzles. He then left his room and went down the hall to the kitchen to have breakfast.
When he entered the kitchen, his mom was at the table eating some cereal. He made himself some breakfast, and sat down at the table with his mother. As he ate, he couldn't help but look at his mom. He marveled again at how similar he was to her. They both had the same build, same eyes, and same smile. But they also had their differences. She was blonde, while he had brown hair. She was shorter than him, and was not nearly as optimistic as him. But he loved her all the same.
"So Gavin," his mother began, making him come out of his analyzing mode, "what are you doing today?"
He hummed for a minute as he ate his cereal, before answering. "Oh, I'm just gonna go to the Comic con today and see what they have. I'll bring my money with me incase I see something I like."
"Alright honey," she said. "Just be careful."
"I will mom, don't worry." With that, he got up and put his now empty bowl in the sink, before heading to freshen up for the day.
After he freshened up, he headed towards the front door. "Gavin. See you when you get back," his mother said with a smile.
"Alright mom. See you when I get home," he said as he headed out the front door to his car. What he didn't know was that he would never return home.
An hour later
Gavin pulled into the Cordova Mall parking lot, and got out of the car ready to see what Comic con was about. He didn't know what to expect, so he was going with an open mind, not quite sure what he was going to spend his money on.
Upon entering, he was immediately bombarded with the sight and sounds of hundreds of people. Looking around the mob, Gavin didn't recognize over half of the stalls there, not even the characters or comics, having been kept away from the majority of the stuff by his overprotective parents.
As he walked through the mob of people, something-or rather, someone -caught his eye. It was a man dressed up in a tattered black cloak. He was standing at a stall called "Resident Evil," with several items in front of him. Gavin walked over to the stand, and got a better look at the man.
In addition to the cloak he was wearing, which he now saw had several pockets on the inside, he had a large sandy backpack next to him, and a purple piece of fabric covering his slightly scarred face. Overall, he looked quite mysterious to Gavin.
"Who are you supposed to be?" he bluntly asked the man. The man stared at him, and crossed his arms.
"The Merchant," the man replied, presumably scowling behind the cloth over his face. "Now, if you aren't going to buy anything, then get out of here!"
Gavin quickly held out his hands. "Woah woah woah!! Calm down!! It was just a question!! I didn't know who you were!"
The man huffed. "You should have known."
He frowned at that. "Its not my fault my parents kept this stuff from me!! So shut up, and let me look!!!"
The Merchant, as Gavin decided to call for now, frowned at that response, and stared at him with his now visible blue eyes, making him rather nervous. He stared for a few minutes, and then chuckled, confusing him even more.
"You got guts boy, to say that to me," he said. "So for that reason, you can pick as many wares you want, and you only have to pay 50% of the original price."
He raised an eyebrow at that. "50% off everything I pick? Are you sure about that?" The Merchant nodded.
"Yes. Now pick what you want before I change my mind!!"
"Alright. Alright!! Let me look," he said as he looked at the items before him. There were several items that he didn't recognize, but some of them caught his eye. There was a steel spike, some purple fur, and a purplish white orb. "I would like to get those items sir," he said, pointing to each item. The Merchant looked at each item, and then at the teen.
"That will be $250 for the steel spike, the purple fur, and the reality warp orb," he said, putting each item into a bag as he said its name.
Gavin gulped. He was pretty sure his parents wouldn't like this, but he decided to buy them anyway. After all, when would he get another chance like this to get some pretty cool stuff?
With a sigh, he pulled out his wallet and counted out the appropriate bills. He handed them over to the Merchant, who held out the bag in turn.
Right as he reached out for the bag, two more things caught his eyes. A large orange fox tail, and a blue and black flaming cat tail. He sighed, not because he didn't want those items. It was because he didn't have any more money to buy them with. The Merchant noticed the longing on his face, and sighed, muttering to himself, "I must be getting soft."
"Here," said the Merchant, taking the two items and putting them in the bag. "On the house." Before he could protest, he held up his hand. "No refunds, no complaints."
Gavin took the bag with a grin on his face, and said, "Thank you for the items sir."
The Merchant chuckled and said, "Enjoy your new life."
"What-" was all Gavin could say before he felt himself fall unconscious as darkness overtook him.
Author's Note
I was inspired by several stories, including Don't Get Cocky. This is my first displaced story, and my first OP story. BUt my displaced story will not meet the others, at least not yet.
I need to know if you guys want anthro or pony. Before i write the next chapter.
The sound of birds chirping was the first thing Gavin heard upon regaining consciousness. He opened his eyes only to immediately regret doing so, since the sun burned into eyes. Putting a hand over his eyes, he opened them again, and slowly sat up.
He saw that he was in a forest that he had never seen before. "Where in the world am I?" he said in confusion.
As he started standing up, he noticed a folded piece of paper on the ground right next to him. He picked it up, and opened it.
It read:
Dear Gavin,
This is the Merchant. Let me explain a few things for you. You are no longer on Earth. That's right. Not on Earth. And you cant return home. You are in Equestria. A beautiful place with wonderful creatures. But it has some differences from the show. What they are, you will have to wait and see. Now, you have many powers now. You have control over reality, and can turn into a few creatures. What creatures? Well, you will find out when you try to change form. You also have those creatures powers, but you will learn about their powers at a later time. Now, your body will look a little different once you finish reading this letter. Enjoy your new life here.
Sincerely,
The Merchant
PS: Enjoy the extra gifts I gave you.
As soon as he finished reading the letter from the Merchant, Gavin immediately felt pain all over his body. It grew so intense that he blacked out, the letter having turned into ashes.
A few hours later...
Gavin regained consciousness again, and felt something licking his face. He opened his eyes, and found himself looking into the eyes of a white Litten. HIs eyes widened, and he quickly sat up, the Litten having moved away.
He stared at the Litten in shock, and shook his head thinking it was just a dream. But the Litten was still there, meaning it wasn't a dream. It was real!!
He slowly reached out towards it, but stopped upon noticing that his hands had changed.
He had 4 inch-long round steel spikes in his hands!!!
Gavin stared at them in shock. He recognized the spikes as the ones he had purchased from the Merchant. He touched them, thinking they were just illusions. But he could feel them, so they were real. They had merged with his hands, so they were now on the backs of them.
A clearly female voice caught his attention, making him look up from the spikes.
"What are you? And what are you doing here?"
Gavin looked around for the one who had said that, but couldn't see anyone else besides the Litten, which was staring at him.
"Who said that?!?" he called out.
"Who said what?" was the reply.
"Who said, 'What are you? And what are you doing here?'?" he said in response.
A loud gasp was heard, and then the Litten came up to him. He looked down, and got the shock of his life.
"You can understand me?!!" the Litten said, making his eyes nearly bulge out of his sockets. The Litten had the same voice!! And he could understand her!!
"What is going on?!!" he nearly shouted. "How can I understand a Pokémon??!! That should be impossible!!"
The Litten shrugged her shoulders, and said, "I don't know, and I don't really care. I'm just glad someone can understand me."
Gavin started to hyperventilate, the shock being too much for him. The Litten noticed this, and slapped him across the face with her paw. "No you don't!! Don't you dare faint on me now!!"
He shook his head and smiled gratefully. "Thanks for that Litten." He then paused in thought, before continuing. "What's your name?"
Litten shook her head. "I don't have one. Could you give me one?" She then used the most powerful weapon known to mankind-the KITTY EYES!!!!
He could not resist the eyes, so he nodded and said, "Alright, I'll name you. After all, my friend needs a name." He sat in thought for a few moments, ignoring her squeals of happiness, and then said, "How about Tigress? Would you like that?"
She bounced in his lap in excitement, crying out, "Yesyesyesyesyes!! I love it!!" With that, she licked him on the cheek, and hopped down to the ground, too excited to stay still.
Gavin proceeded to get up, and stretched his arms, noting that he was still wearing the same clothes that he had worn at the con, and they were a bit tight on him now. He theorized that he had gained some extra muscle on his body.
"Wow!!!" Tigress shouted, catching his attention once again. "You have a tail?!! No, tails!! Amazing!!"
He turned to look behind him, and he almost screamed in shock. He did have tails. Eleven of them. They swayed and wiggled as he looked at them. He reached out and grabbed them, feeling the fur on them. He noticed that nine of the tails were orange fox tails. The last two, however, were different. They looked like they were made of blue fire with black lines in them.
He tentatively reached out to the two tails, and touched them, hoping he wouldn't be burned. To his relief, he didn't get burned. They jut felt..warm . Satisfied, he let go of his tails, and turned to face Tigress.
"Yeah. They're pretty cool, aren't they," he said to her. She nodded.
"Yeah. I love them!!" she said happily.
Gavin smiled. "Great!! Now, how about I introduce myself. My name is-"
He was suddenly interrupted by "HEEELLLPP!!!" A girl's voice rang through the forest.
He turned his head in the direction of the cry, and said, "I'm gonna check that out. You coming Tigress?"
She nodded. "Yeah!! No way I'm gonna miss this!! Maybe it's a Pokémon. If so, I'm gonna battle it!!"
He silently chuckled at her excitement, and said, "Alright then. Let's go!!"
They started running toward the source of the cry, not stopping for anything.
Running in the direction of the cry, they came upon a clearing, and entered it. Once they entered into the clearing, Gavin and Tigress saw a frightening scene.

THe pokemon can change from anthro to regular whenever they want. BUt they will mainly do it when making love or in private.
Also, leave a comment down below about what his next pokemon should be.
First impressions with a local
In the clearing were two beings. One was a scary being, half man and half goat, with horns and sharp claws. It had black fur and red eyes, with a mouth full of sharp teeth. Gavin recognized it as a satyr. The other being, he did not recognize though.
The other being was a girl wearing a light green dress with a short skirt. She had long pink hair and a pink tail, a butterfly hair clip, hooves for feet, yellow wings and fur, pony ears, and a muzzle. She was currently backing away from the snarling satyr in fear.
"What's the girl Tigress?" he asked her, causing her to look up at him.
"Oh, she's a Pegasus that lives on the edge of the forest," Tigress whispered. He nodded and smiled upon hearing that. A Pegasus? Cool.
"I want you to run over to her, and guard her. I'll take care of the satyr," he whispered in a serious tone.
"Are you kidding me?!!" she loudly whispered. "You're not strong enough to beat one! I mean-" Gavin cut her off with a "shush," and said, "Trust me."
Tigress's blue eyes met his own blue ones, and she felt confident for some reason. She nodded, and started running toward the girl. But before she had taken several steps, she turned to him and said, "Before you fight the satyr, may I have your name?"
He smiled. "My name is Gavin." She smiled.
"Gavin.....I like that name," she said, before running out to the girl. She turned to the satyr and hissed at it, the fur on her back standing up.
Gavin ran into the clearing, charging straight at the satyr. "Hey ugly!!!" he yelled, catching it's attention. "Special delivery!!" Right as he said that, he punched the satyr in the face-hard . Pain shot up into his arm, but he persevered. He started wailing punches on the satyr, thinking that he had the upper hand.
Suddenly, the satyr punched Gavin in the stomach, causing him to stop for a moment. That moment was all it took for the satyr to turn the tables on him, and it started wailing on him!! He put his arms above his head, and felt his tails curl around him as well.
Suddenly, the satyr roared in pain. He looked to see that Tigress had used Ember on it, leaving a burn on its back. The satyr took its eyes off Gavin, and they landed on the girl and Tigress.
The satyr started to walk towards them, leaving Gavin on the ground behind it. Gavin was breathing hard, his vision becoming blurred from exhaustion and pain, hurting from the satyr's punches. He could taste blood in his mouth, no doubt a result of the satyr's punches. His vision cleared for a moment, and his eyes widened upon seeing the satyr raise its arm above the mare and Tigress, ready to strike and kill. The satyr roared as it started to swing down its arm.
POV change
The mare closed her eyes, waiting for the satyr to strike her and Tigress dead.
Crack!!
The mare and Tigress opened their eyes, only to be greeted by a shocking sight.
The strange creature they had just met was standing in front of them with flared tails, holding the satyr's arm with one hand!! Then, the strange creature spoke, startling them.
"How dare you!!" he, the mare determined by the voice, growled out. "How dare you try to hurt them!!"
The satyr screeched at the creature, and tried to hit it with its other arm, but the creature twisted its arm, causing it to stop its assault.
"Now you're gonna pay!!" he said. The satyr roared again, and tried to scratch him. It succeeded in drawing blood, but this only mad him angrier.
Shlock!!!
He ripped its arm off, and threw it away from them, making their eyes widen. How strong was this guy?!! The satyr roared in pain as it bled out. It lunged at him, wanting revenge for its arm. But he punched the satyr, causing it to fall backwards onto the ground.
He then reached his arm out towards it, and said, "Earth Style: Earth Tomb." The ground surrounding the satyr rose up and around it, causing it to cry out in pain. "Are you gonna try to kill us again?" he asked it. It roared at him, and tried to stab him with its remaining hand. He dodged the hand, and made a fist. The rocks surrounding the satyr started squeezing it, making it cry out as it's body was crushed by the rocks, blood dripping out.
POV Change
Gavin relaxed his fist, and the earth sank back into the ground, leaving a crushed, bloody, dead satyr. He sighed, and turned to look at the mare and Tigress. "Don't (huff) worry (puff) miss," he said, out of breath. "You're fine (puff) now."
The mare just stared at him in shock, fear and surprise on her face. Tigress looked surprised too, but she also looked pleased.
"Great job Gavin!! I knew you could do it!! What was that move??!!!" she said excitedly. Right as he was about to answer her, he felt something hard hit him on the head, knocking him out.
Right before he fell unconscious, he heard Tigress cry out, "Gavin!!!"
