On a beautiful day like today, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash were chillaxing over by the lake.

"Hey Dashie," said Pinkie, "you mind if I ask you something?"

"Shoot," said Dash.

In a nervous tone, Pinkie said...

"Are you and Soarin...more than just friends?"

"What do you..."

Dash immediately stopped...and soon figured out what Pinkie meant by that.

"Wait...you think me and Soarin are...dating?"

"Yes!" Pinkie said out loud.

"Pinkie...why would you ask me something like that?" wondered Dash.

"Think about it Dashie...you're a wonderbolt, he's a wonderbolt. You're an athlete, he's an athlete. You're into sports, and he's also into sports. Let's face facts...you two were meant for each other!"

Dash found herself having to clear her head...in order to take in what Pinkie was saying.

"Look, Pinkie...while I'll admit that he's fun to hang out with...that doesn't mean I'm interested in dating him."

Pinkie soon became sad upon hearing this.

"So...you only see him as a friend?" asked Pinkie.

"Pretty much," said Dash.

At that moment, something clicked in Pinkie's head.

"So...does this mean you're dating Thunderlane?"

This caught Dash off guard.

"What? No! Pinkie...he's also just a friend of mine."

Pinkie then started listing off the names of certain stallions who were in the wonderbolts.

And Dash was starting to get annoyed by this.

When Pinkie suddenly mentioned Zephyr Breeze's name...Dash hoofpalmed.

"Pinkie...he's NOT even a wonderbolt!"

Pinkie was starting to run out of names.

All of a sudden, a new thought popped up in Pinkie's head.

"So...you're actually into mares?"

Dash had a feeling something like this was going to be brought up at some point.

"Pinkie...while I'll admit that I'm a tomboy, and that my mane & tail are all rainbow colored...that doesn't automatically make me a lesbian."

When Dash saw how disappointed Pinkie was, she went over to her.

"Pinkie...listen," Dash said as she put her hoof on Pinkie's shoulder.

"With how busy I am nowadays...being a wonderbolt, helping out with cloud control and spending time with you girls...it makes it hard for me to be interested in dating somepony at the moment."

Pinkie started wiping the tears off her face.

"But," said Dash, "at some point in the future...I might end up popping the question to Soarin..."

Pinkie's face lit up upon hearing this.

"You mean...it might actually happen?"

"We'll just have to wait and see!" said Dash.

Pinkie hopped over and gave her friend a "super hug."

"Pinkie...you're hugging me too tight!"

"Oops, sorry!" Pinkie said with an embarrassed look on her face.

"Although, if I may ask...why are you so obsessed with me wanting to date Soarin?" asked Dash.

"Because," said Pinkie, "I feel it's gotten to that point that the six of us...should start trying to find a special somepony. Somepony that we can be with for the rest of our lives. But, you are right though...we're far too busy with other things to even think about dating at the moment."

"So," said Dash, "I guess this means that you're not ready to be with Cheese Sandwich?"

This took Pinkie by surprise.

"Wait! What? You actually thought...Dashie, he's just a friend of mine! Besides, with how similar our personalities are...it would be like dating myself! You get what I'm saying?"

Dash took a moment to think about that.

"You...have a point there," said Dash.

Upon reading the fanfic, Magpiepony said out loud...

"AT LAST!!! Someone who agrees that Cheesepie has become a silly ship at this point!!"

In another room, Lost heard her and said...

"You do realize that the person who wrote that is doing that just to troll you...right?"
