The Olympian Chronicles (Crossover)
The Trials
Previous ChapterNext Chapter"Oh no, oh no, oh no..." Pinkie stammered, "that's not good..."
I turned to her, frantic, "what's going to happen?"
"First, Pinkamena will probably kill somepony, and then you'll hear rumors of another me running around *****CENSORED****** to other ponies!"
I sat down, my head swimming from the images Pinkie Pie had just put into my head, "I really wish I hadn't heard that... epecially the part with the popsicle..."
"Sorry," Pinkie said, blushing a bit, "but that's probably what's going to happen."
"Okay... let's go."
We ran out of Sugarcube Corner, searching frantically. We took the main road for about half a mile, and then turned left onto a quaint dirt road. As we were running, I heard a faint scream in the distance. "Pinkie!" I yelled, "this way!"
We ran to a little wooden treehouse, and screams from the inside were clearly audible. I could hear a voice say, "Oh Applebloom. I wanted you to help me, but this is not how I pictured it. You could have been my assisstant, not my prey. But as the old saying goes, never count your chicks before they hatch."
Pinkie pulled a cannon out of seemingly nowhere, and fired a ball of confetti at the door. The door gave way, and we burst into the room. Pinkamena was standing over a filly that was bounded to the table. Pinkamena was holding a scalpel, and she had an insane grin on her face, "it's too late, Trident. You can't stop me. No one can keep Pinkamena Diane Pie away from her responsibility..."
Something wasn't right. She was speaking as if in a trance. But I had to stop her. I summoned my sword, and swung. The blade passed clean through her neck, but no blood came. The severed head simply dissolved into words I couldn't read, and floated into Pinkie's eyes, which were glowing white. Her mouth hung open in a trance.
The battle wasn't over. Pinkamena's body split into three beings, each with a different weapon of torture. They were all miniature Pinkamenas. The first held a knife, the second a scalpel, and the third a flail.
I'd have to handle this without Pinkie, as she was still in her trance. I ran at the first creature, and swung my sword in a downwards arc. She dodged and stabbed my leg with her knife. I yelped in pain.
I fell to my knees, and was swarmed by the one with the flail. She brought the flail down across my face, her grin not even wavering. Pain flashed before me, and I couldn't see out of my left eye. The other two grabbed me, and strapped me next to another table next to the filly. I could faintly see her looking at me with genuine fear.
"W-what's going to happen, mister?" She said with a heavy southern accent.
"I-I don't know... I c-can't see much..." I groaned.
"Okay," Pinkamena said, reassembling herself, "are you ready for your treatment, Trident? We saved a special one for you. Our master will be very pleased."
Master? "What are you talking about?" I muttered.
She didn't answer. She brought out a cheese grater. "Let's start with your magic, shall we?"
She began to reach for my horn, but as she did, an explosion shook the room and turned her to dust.
"What?"
"I think you mean 'Who?,' buddy." Said a cracking female voice.
A new mare had entered the room. She had a mane the color of the rainbow, and her coat was a light cyan. Her eyes were pinkish in color, and her cutie mark was a rainbow in the shape of lightning.
"The name's Rainbow Dash, and if I'm not mistaken, I just saved your life. You owe me BIG TIME."
After untying me and the other filly, Rainbow Dash explained how she found me.
"I heard a crash while I was flying above the area, and then I saw Pinkie with a knife. I hid in the trees when I saw you two rounding the corner, because I was confused. What was that thing pretending to be Pinkie Pie?"
"A Thought Siren," I replied, "they come from your primal urges, or your Id."
She bit her lip, "by primal urges, do you mean *****CENSORED***** or are you just referring to murdering?"
I cringed, "Jeez, why do you ponies have this obsession with popsicles? Anyway, yeah. All urges. We need to find Pinkie's other Siren, Kinzie."
She snorted, "is that really her name?"
"No," I admitted, "but it feels awkward saying her real name."
I heard a groan from behind me, Pinkie was awake.
"I know where she is... I saw it in a dream..." she said lazily, "she's over at Pipsqueak's place..."
"HOLY HORSEFEED WHY WOULD SHE DO STUFF TO PIPSQUEAK?" Rainbow flinched hard.
"No, not Pip. His father."
"Oh," Rainbow said, relieved, "let's get going then."
We approached a modest home on the edge of town. The home was really in need of repair.
"Pip's dad is the town drunk," Pinkie said sadly, "he's not friendly to anypony. He's very abusing toward little Pip. It's a shame he turned out that way. He changed after his wife left him for a prince she couldn't have anyway."
I almost felt sorry for the guy in the house, before I remembered he abused a child.
"Let's just get this done." I said, "as quickly as possible."
We opened the door. The house smelled of alcohol and something musty. I tried to trace the smell, but it was everywhere. I turned my head to the left, and there she was, sitting on a couch, with a popsicle.
"Hey there," she said with a wink, "glad you could make it."
"Uh... we have you outnumbered?"
"Now, now," she sauntered over to us and rubbed her tail under my chin. She looked at me with pleading eyes, "that's not necessary, is it?"
Then, she took her popsicle and *****CENSORED*****.
"Uh, no. I'm not here for that." I stammered.
"YEAH!" Pinkie said angrily from behind me, "this isn't a clopfic! It's rated 'Everyone' for a reason!"
Let's just get this over with. I summoned my sword. "NO!" Rainbow shouted, "you can only kill a siren with it's own power! I killed the other with intent to kill! You have to kill her with intent to please yourself..." She looked away, blushing profusely.
Oh horseapples. I realized that killing her would actually be pretty satisfying. It would end the awkward feelings, and I wouldn't have to do what Pinkie called a "Clopfic."
Whatever that means.
I stabbed Kinzie through the heart, and she crumbled to dust. The dust went back into Pinkie, just as it did last time.
"O-whoa-okay." She stammered, "I'm okay now."
As we walked back into town, Twilight ran up to us, clearly out of breath.
"What is it," I ask.
"It's- it's..." she panted.
"Spit it out!" Rainbow huffed.
"Annabeth's awake."
