The Human Chronicles: Nightmare Night

Jake was getting excited to find out what Nightmare Night was like. There was a rumour that Princess Luna would be visiting for the first time since last Nightmare Night. But a few people were a bit worried about the visit, including Twilight Sparkle. "Come on, Twilight!" Said Jake to the worried unicorn "It can't be that bad! What are you worried about anyway!?" Twilight just stood with her head against the wall. She lifted her head and turned to look at Jake. Jake could see how worried she was which made him get a bit worried too. "I think something is going to happen tonight." Replied Twilight. "What's gonna happen tonight?" Asked Jake, worried. Twilight just shook her head and said "A massacre." Jake just stared at the worried pony. "But... who would stage a massacre in Ponyville?" Asked Jake. "Nightmare Moon" Replied Twilight, simply.

As soon as night came everyone but Twilight looked to the skies looking for Princess Luna. Jake turned to Twilight. "Come on, Twilight! Lighten up!" He said "There won't be a massacre!" But he was wrong. The moon goddesses' chariot came out of the clouds and landed in front of the crowd. But it wasn't Princess Luna who stepped out... it was... "NIGHTMARE MOON!" Yelled the crowd running in all directions. Nightmare Moon snarled and ran at the fleeing ponies. "Twilight!" Shouted a familiar voice. "Rainbow Dash!" Yelled Jake as the rainbow maned pegasus ran towards him. "Where's Twilight and the others?" Asked Rainbow Dash in a worried voice. Her face had a worried look on it and her mane was sticking out everywhere. "I don't know. Twilight ran off when the chariot came out of the clouds." Suddenly a dark blue figure slammed into Jake knocking him over. Jake lashed out at the figure as it went to bite him. Just as Nightmare Moon went in for the kill a blur flew into her. "Applejack!?" Shouted Rainbow Dash staring at the orange pony. Applejack just smiled weakly just before she was flung off. Rainbow Dash and Jake ran over to her. "We've got to find the others" Said Rainbow Dash, helping up the dazed Applejack. Then out of nowhere a ray of shimmering, bright light hit Nightmare Moon square in the head. The others turned round to see Twiliht standing there. "SHE WON'T BE DOWN FOR LONG! EVERYONE GET INSIDE!" Ordered Twilight.

They burst into sugarcube corner only to find the other mares huddled in a corner. Twilight stayed by the window making sure Nightmare Moon couldn't get inside. Jake hid by the door in case she tried to get in. Everyone else... just sat huddled in the same corner. Twilight saw Nightmare Moon's blue mane and tail waving in the wind. "Come out little ponies! I'm getting hungry!" She shouted playfully. No one dared to step outside. Until suddenly, a door to the right of Nightmare Moon burst open and strange creture walked out. "And who or what are you?" Demanded Nightmare Moon angrily. "I'm Jake fucking Turner and I'm... a bloody human." As soon as Jake had finished his sentence he rushed at Nightmare Moon. Nightmare Moon was taken by suprise. But not for long.
