Twilight's children and Surprise

"Are you sure you want to see them?" Pharynx made sure that Twilight had not changed her mind. "It may be something terrible for you"

"How much should I tell you that I want to see them?" Twilight said impatiently, trying to hide her fear.

"Alright… Here you go... Be right back" Pharynx left the door. Twilight looked with sadness at Thorax.

"How could you not tell me about it?"

"I...I..." he tried to say a word, but it sounded comical instead. The shocked changeling without a word simply hugged Twilight.

"I did not want to upset you… I'm sorry" he said strangling Twilight in his grasp. Without losing a moment, Ocellus joined the cuddle.

"How do you feel, my queen?" she asked with puzzled face.

"I feel like a runaway raccoon" Twilight chuckled.

"Here's your children" Pharynx put the box on the bed.

Twilight breathed and with her eyes closed raised one of HER larvae with magic. Her eardrums filled with a screech that testified that she had woken it from sleep.

Twilight, expecting something disgusting, slowly opened her eyes. But her eyes showed an innocent little frightened creature with purple eyes (probably from Twilight) whose skin looked like a white coverall. The poor fellow probably cried because he was afraid of the creature that looked at him. Twilight to calm the larva, she began to gently stroke her head, and put it back on her back so that the larva would fall asleep.

"They are beautiful" The new queen began to understand what motherhood is. It was also the first time that she began to feel compassion for other races. She could not describe the larvae of changelings differently, because "Beauty" was the only word that came to her mind. In her life she did not expect that someday she would leave books and the library. Twilight, after all these thoughts, began to curl in pain.

"Twilight?.... TWILIGHT!" Thorax tried to make contact with her by patting her cheeks, but she still did not react to stimuli.

"NO... IT CAN NOT HAPPEN!" the green changeling was slapped on the cheek by his brother.

"CALM DOWN!... SHE NEEDS A DOCTOR!" Pharynx galloped from the room.

Twilight has awakened for the third time from sleep to see that it is attached to the drip, and heart rate monitor.

"TWILIGHT!... YOU'RE AWAKE!" she heard a familiar voice. Opening her eyes she saw a small purple dragon in front of her.

"S-S-Spike?" was the only word she managed to choke out. "W-W-WHA-W-WHA-" She felt his touch on the muzzle.

"Shhhh…. I bringed some your things" he said, putting the bag in front of him and taking out a pile of books. "I also bringed your... Crown?" he put the tiara with the Twilight symbol on her bed. "Anyway Thorax said what happened to you ... And I'm so sorry that I could not be with you" After these words, a nurse came into the room and served a mushroom soup for Twilight.

"I thought the changelings only feed on love" she said.

"We also need ordinary food... Please eat while it's hot your highness" the nurse bowed with a smile to the lavender changeling and a dragon.

"BUT IT'S NOT MY FOOD!... I SHOULD NOT EAT!" Twilight tried to protest.

"You're wrong, my dear, because now it's your food, and now you and OUR KING rule us Your Highness" after these words she left. Twilight looked disappointed at the soup and slowly eating it.

"Do other ponies know about ... THAT?" she asked Spike.

"Yes… even Apple Bloom and her friends made you a drawing."

"Really?"

"Yup" Spike responded by taking out a piece of paper and showing it before her eyes … "It's you" he pointed to the violet silhouette. "Thorax" he next pointed to the large green figure with the orange antlers. "...and Ocellus" his finger at the end indicated a white changeling with cyan eyes.

"Cutie Mark Crusaders know Ocellus?"

"Yeah… They met her when you was "healing" in one of a changeling cocoons"

"Aww" Twilight ran out of words, and she looked out the window showing the landscape of the changelings' kingdom.

"I still have a bad feeling" she said while sipping soup. "What if they do not like me? What if they want to burn me at the stake?" she panicked.

"Somehow this nurse was nice to you" Spike scanned the situation.

"It could only be a semblance… or an exception"

"You're overreacting" Spike chuckled. "They are not the same changelings as they used to be" he continued.

"Spike ... You do not help" she said sarcastically, and she drank a soup. Spike looked at his watch.

"Time is chasing me ... I should go back to Ponyville… You need go to sleep" He stroked Twilight's head and left.

"Yeah… I'm overreacting… He don't understand me … " she said to herself, looking at her crown.

"I wonder what my friends are doing now"

"How is your egghead friend feeling?" a female griffon asked a blue mare.

"Somehow…" Rainbow Dash said while looking at teacup "She must get used to the new organism somehow"

There was silence in an instant

"Let's play 'Monopony'" the griffon said, trying to tone the silence with numbness. "For Letting your friend put together a life there." Gilda continued while drinking tea.

"You're right…" A skylight appeared in Rainbow's eyes "FOR TWILIGHT!"

"Yeah… for Twilight"

"Probably nothing" Twilight sighed.

"Can I come in?" Ocellus asked with a sheepishly smile.

"Yes, you can"

"I'm guessing ... Spike has already brought you things"

"You guessed" she smiled. Twilight even wondered what Ocellus was thinking about her deep down in her thoughts"

"Ocellus?" Twilight asked uncertainly

"Yes?" she asked

"Do you… like me as a mother?" she asked.

"Ummm….. Of course" the little changeling responded not surely

"Are you sure?"

"..."

"I'm sorry ... if I mislead you… I should not say it" Twilight tried to explain.

"No, no ... it's all right" Ocellus came out of her thoughts. "I think I should go now"

Twilight was very surprised by the behavior of the little changeling.

Did Ocellus see her mother in Twilight, which she did not have?

"Hey, Ocellus"

"...yes my king?..."

"Do you remember what day it is today?"

"Of course"

"Shhh ... Twilight will have a slight surprise when she wakes up."

Twilight felt uneasy after waking up when she saw that the light was off. Without thinking, she started looking for a light switch. When she found it, she turned it on.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" everyone shouted in the room, causing a flinch at Twilight.

"Girls... you remembered"

"How could we forget about the birthday of our best friend?" Rainbow Dash smiled.

"It's a pity you did not see your face" Pinkie Pie giggled.

"...y-yeah… a p-pity..." Fluttershy commented.

"Thanks… I guess?" Twilight replied with embarrassment in her voice.

"Twilight? Something wrong?" Spike asked seeing tears in her eyes.

"I did not expect to see you here" she said, trying to stop her tears. Her friends did not expect such a reaction on her part.

"Uncomfortable situation or just seem to me?" Gilda asked while scratching her head.

"Where is Shining? Where is Cadance?" Twilight asked, looking around the room.

"Forgive me Sugarcube, but they had to deal with Flurry" Applejack replied with sadness in her voice.

"Oh…. I understand" Twilight dropped her head down.

"Are you sure? ... You look broken" Rarity asked with worry in her face.

"I said … I understand"

"Wait… Who will be Element of Magic now?"

Rainbow Dash laughed nervously.

"Rainbow? Are you hiding something?" Twilight raised her eyebrow.

Rainbow, still laughing nervously, left the road to show an nervous griffon.

"Why she? She is a griffon, and griffons can not do magic." Twilight asked indignantly "she also used to shout at Fluttershy"

"I changed ... I swear" The griffon bowed.

"She is saying truth… She changed" Rainbow stood on her side.

"Well ... I'll give you a second Chance" Twilight replied. "Take it…" with magic she gave her Tiara. "And remember ... use it in case of danger"

Gilda slowly took Tiara and began to look at it from all sides. "Yeah… I will remember" after that she ran to Twilight and hugged her hard. "Thank you"

"Thorax? A little help?"

The green changeling came over and tried to separate them.

"Sorry..." Gilda giggled.

"Do you remember what i said?" Twilight asked.

"Yeah… Use in case of danger. Griffon replied.

"What are we waiting for? ... Let's have fun" Pinkie Pie started bounce.

"Yes ... let's have fun" Twilight began to seem that life as a changeling is not bad. She began to feel the opposite of sadness ... Happiness.
