(Chapter 6)

I saw at least 200 diamond dog warriors surrounding all people. We were still off in the distance 100 m away so we weren’t spotted yet.

My four enslaved Diamond dogs were brutally murdered as they stood no chance against 200. All the humans are still alive just been tied up and put into a new carriage

My new enemy seem to be taunting my people. I could feel the darkness crawling on my back as I wanted to murder everyone of them.

I calm down, now is not the time to be thinking rationally. While they may have over 200 diamond dog warriors. we equal that in numbers not to mention half of us are skilled warriors that could take down at least five of them easily. I personally could probably take down half of them myself, if not all of them, without batting an eye.

but there’s one more advantage that we have, the element of surprise.

“Razor Fang” I look at him. He looked at me ready to follow my orders. “I have a plan and I need your help.”

“I’m your shadow boss, just give the word and I’ll pop some heads.” He smirked at me.

I reply with my own smirk and say. “Unfortunately you’re going to have to wait no head popping today”

he looks at me betrayed a little but nods his head. I went over the plan with everyone and we get into position.

(Samantha’s POV)

The diamond dogs are scary. They killed their own without even a thought. Where is my daddy when I need him.

They tied us up and put cloth over our mouth, to make us be quiet.

Bowman is trying to comfort me. but I just wanna lay down and cry. Just then I heard more noises to the… I believe Bowman said, right. Yeah right side of me.

About 20 more Diamond dogs showed up. Oh spirits where are they taking us. The big muscular one seems to be the leader of the group and he looks the most scary.

He talks to the leader of this group and then he looks to me and gives me a smile. The last time and dog that smile that me was planning to eat me… but his smile was kind… please blessed me spirits, to get through this.

Oh spirits he’s coming closer. I could hear his footsteps as if they were the sounds of Thunder. A ready myself in case he tried to hit me, eat me or even try to nasty things like they did to mommy.

I was now crying, just wanting all this to end.

Instead of feeling pain... I felt a... Rab. I open my eyes and look at him. He bends down and looks at me. He said his words that shocked me. “I hope you still have that book because, your father is going to want that book back.”

My eyes widen have the spirits answered my prayers.

Another Diamond dog taps him on the shoulder. “Boss say, no eating”

The big diamond dog smiles at him too but the smile is different. “Why would I want to eat my bosses daughter“ he says out loud.

The diamond dog seems confused. But me and the other humans knew what it means.

Just then the big diamond dog grabbed a stick with a spiky ball at the end and bash the other diamond dog in the face.

All of a sudden all of the time and dogs started to attack each other. Then diamond dogs would grab us and start running to the tree line. The big Diamond dog picked me up along with Bowman.

I was very confused at what was happening.

(Edward Smith’s POV)

Seeing our fellow diamond dogs running towards us I ready me and the 40 Gondorian guards. As they make it to ⅞ The way to the tree line, we rush out.

Using our agility and athletics we hop over the diamond dogs into the enemy diamond dogs that were hot on their tail.

I were two lines clashed but we were better. Just then arrows surge coming from left and right as the rest of the troops are firing long range weapons.

Being outmatched in front, and their flanks are overrun. They began to fall back.

They take a knee as they ready there crossbows. I grab the nearest dead body and use it for extra cover.

I felt 15 Bolts strike the dead body as they try to reload. Not wanting them to fire at me again I rushed them with the rest of my troops.

We incircle them quite easily. Somewhere during the fighting their leader died and the army was completely routed, as they try to escape.

Not wanting them to regroup we cut down as many as we could. It was a good five minutes of battle and blood. Maybe even a bit longer.

The adrenaline was rushing through me as I calmed myself down. We hardly took a casualty only three men getting injured and those are minor wounds.

I ordered the Gondorian guards to take care of the dead bodies and get them away from my side.

The diamond dogs and the humans were uneasy as they didn’t know if they could trust each other or not.

“Daddy!” A beautiful high-pitched voice rang through my ears. Even though I was gone for so long I still haven’t forgotten that voice.

A small toddler name Samantha rushed over to me and hooked my legs tightly.I only quit the rest of my gear and hugged her back.

We sat there for at least a good five minutes just in each other’s braces.

I’m glad that I wasn’t gone another day.

(A few hours later)

seeing everyone get acquainted with each other made me a little bit happier. It will be a long time until they can except each other but there is one more thing we have to do.

I stood in front of the cave and shouted unleashing force, “Fus, Ro, Dah!” Into the sky.

Everyone looked at me in disbelief of my power. I began to give them a speech.

Having on my regular clothes made it easier for them to trust me instead of my Diedrich. I could feel the spirits go over my body making me flashing colours of green, black and light blue. “My friends today marks a symbol for us”

The entire crowd looked at me in shock. Not expecting me to overlap my own voice.

“Today for the first time in humanity we have won! We should not stop here for our enemy will return with greater numbers!”

The crowd looked worried.

“But do not fear! After today we will become a kingdom... no an empire! All those who wish to deny our demands will be punished severely through a punishment ‘worse than death’!”

The humans look excited while the diamond dogs worried a little bit afraid of what I will do to them.

“But those who allow themselves to follow our path will be gifted with freedom! I will not only make a safe place for humans, but for all races!”

The entire crowd was excited ready to follow my orders to bring him to glory and victory.

I will no longer ignore the cries of help for I am the Lord of Darkness, Brightness, Death and humanity! Whoever follows me will have freedom for I..!”

I summoned the bright lord spear.

“Am!”

I raised it up high. ready to plant it in the ground.

“The Lord of vengeance!”

I stabbed the spear into the ground making the entire area shake as light blasted from the spear and shot into the sky.
