“so let me get this straight… the thing you did the first time when you almost killed Chrysalis was out of primal instinct?” Asked Twilight

I was currently sitting in the dining room and I'm answering questions about myself or my world in general. Sitting on my left in order from closest to farthest was Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack. And on my right was Twilight, Rainbow dash, Pinkie pie. And sitting in front of me was princess Celestia, princess Luna (who just got back from somewhere) princess Cadence and last but not least captain shining armor, and judging by the look his giving me, he doesn't like me.

“So Mister Conner I'd like to personally thank you for saving the lives of my ponies. And I'd like to ask you a question if you don't mind me asking is it true that you can control magic?” Asked princess Celestia

“That is true I can why?”

“Can you show us sir Connor?” Asked princess Luna

“Uh sure” I held up my hand as I dispel all magic within the room. Princess Celestia and princess Luna's hair stopped moving and fell limp. I looked around to see princess cadence and prince shining armor both look like something causing them pain. Same with everyone else.

“Amazing, ok you can bring the magic back.” Said princess Celestia

“so you want to tell me why you want me to do that.”

(POV cadence)

As I watch him i start to wonder if he ever had a soulmate. As I finished my spell I could see a tattered red ribbon with a bit of black which means his has died. ‘Hopefully he'll be able to find another.’ I look over to shining to see instead of a red ribbon I see a dark purple ribbon entwined with my red ribbon. ‘What does that mean? I'll have to find out later for now I want to know what happened to his soulmate.’

(POV Conner)

“Um Connor do you perhaps have a special somepony?” Asked cadence

“*Sigh* yes I did.” 'well there goes the good mood.’

“Do you mind if I ask what happened?” Asked princess Luna

“*Sigh* a long time ago me and Bella…”

“Honey I'm going hunting I'll be back in a couple of hours.” I said standing next to the front door.

“Wait aren't you forgetting something?” She says as walks out of the kitchen swaying her hips.

“I might of,” I pick her up and gave her a deep passionate kiss.

(Eight hours later)

“Honey I'm ho-” my voice died in me throat as I saw the house was a complete wreck pot shattered and furniture flipped over and a trail of blood leading out the back door.

So I followed the blood and what I saw no man ever see. There at the same tree we planted as declaration of our love. Was my wife hung on a hook from one of the branches with a note attached to the hook. I could barely stand my legs felt like they were made of steel. But suddenly she started to cough up blood. I ran over to her and pulled her off of it and started to use strongest healing spell I knew at the time.

“Connor is that you?” she asked as she continued cough up blood

“Yes but you need to be quiet and save your strength.”

She slowly reached out and grabbed my hand. “Connor my time's up but I want you know that I will always love you.” And with my wife's eyes closed as she passed away.

(Current time)

“Do you know why they killed her?” No one answered “because she fell in love with me.”

Everyone looked shocked to hear that. Applejack, Fluttershy and princess Cadence looked like they were about to cry. But shining armor looked pleased to hear that my wife died.

"What may I ask is on your mind?"

“Oh I think that they did the right thing killing your wife. I mean seriously she must've been insane to marry a beast like you.”

Everybody shocked to hear him say that but I was furious I stood up and summoned the dark warrior armor and proceed to flip the table to get him faster. I then grabbed him by the neck and lift him into the air.

“You want to run that by me again!” I said in a low gravelly voice.

“I said that they were right to kill your wife and I'm gl-Ah.” He yelled out in pain as I punch him into the wall.

“CONNOR ENOUGH!!” yelled Celestia

“Tell me ‘princess’ if the love of life died in your arms and then some ass hole says something like that what would you do?” I said as I got straight in her face looking down at her.

“I d-don’t know” she answered weekly

“I'm done here” I looked over at shining ass. “If you want a fight then meet me by the front gates of the city.” and with that I left

(POV Cadence)

Did I just hear shining say 'that’ he was glad that Connor wife was murdered. I don't know what to think anymore he's been different ever since the invasion. He been mean, abusive, and overall a bit of a ass. I thought to myself

I watched as Fluttershy left the room and she looked pissed. Probably from what ‘shining armor’ said. I looked over at aunt Celestia and saw she had a bit of a blush. I hope Connor doesn't hate us for this.
