The Sentence

During Twilight's fourth year of imprisonment Twilight's friends were trying their best to get through the separation from Twilight. It had been four years since she was imprisoned inside the pyramid.

Her friends had to get therapy due to their separation from Twilight. They missed her so much they couldn't wait for her to be free. They had a long time to wait yet though as she wasn't even halfway through her imprisonment.

Her friends were dealing with it easier than they had been then the first year. They weren't crying everyday but they were still crying from time to time. Starlight Glimmer missed Twilght the most. She wanted to learn more lessons from her teacher and friend but couldn't and she couldn't break into the pyramid either and she wasn't planning on doing that. She was really depressed about Twilight being gone but she didn't cry to much.

Once they checked out a few books they started to read about them and realize they were very righteous and mighty but we're kind and understanding to a point. They realized that the spirits understood that Twilight and Celestia were very nice people that had made a mistake they shouldn't have made but didn't mean to make the mistake and that all individuals made mistakes. But at the same time however they needed to get the point across that consequences follow mistakes which was why they were going to punish Celestia but instead Twilight had opted to take her place which had led her to her imprisonment.

Starlight Glimmer started to read up on all of the different spirits that existed in the realm. There wasn't a leader that leaded them as they all leaded eachother equally. No spirit was more powerful or more trustable than the other. They all had the same powers. They were all spirits that worked together to coexist and serve out justice when needed to. There were ones who judged and their were ones who guarded the realms and areas which they resided in which were called Guardian's and those ones were guarding the pyramid Twilight was mummified and imprisoned in.

It took Starlight hours to get through the information. All of it was very fascinating. She was particularly interested in their origins but the books that she read all said that the spirits had existed forever. They had existed way before Equestria was founded.

She read that the spirits had watched over every mission that her friends had done and every lesson that they had learned. They saw Twilight's battle with Tirek, they saw Starlight when she was the ruler of Our Town and the attempt by Starlight of changing history. They had been there for everything and had seen everything. It amazed Starlight.

The one thing she couldn't understand was about how the spirits never punished her for her wrongdoings but yet they punished Twilight. She decided to look up they known cases that the spirits were involved in and she found out that they were involved a lot.

Some of the other people that the spirits had judged were Trixie Lulamoon but that punishment she got was a figurative slap on the wrist. The spirits were close to punishing Twilight for the want it need it incident but they decided that it wasn't necessary so they didn't step it.

Starlight Glimmer and her friends had conversations with the guardians outside of the pyramid and learned about them more. They were fascinating to learn about. They decided to check out a few books from a library about them and realized there tons of information on them in books that had been labeled guides on the spirits or had been labeled the secret world of spiritual creatures.

She read that the spirits had watched over every mission that her friends had done and every lesson that they had learned. They saw Twilight's battle with Tirek, they saw Starlight when she was the ruler of Our Town and the attempt by Starlight of changing history. They had been there for everything and had seen everything. It amazed Starlight.

As she looked through more of the information she had found out that the spirits had judged Luna after she was nightmare moon but Celestia was able to get Luna free from that by imprisoning her in the moon. She had never known this before until now. She started to think that Celestia had kept it a secret until it slowly got out.

Starlight realized how good the spirits were. She realized that Equestria needed the spirits or there wouldn't be any order in Equestria. She decided to look for more information so she went and looked through Twilight's journals and realized how much Twilight prayed to the spirits as Twilight had respect for them. She realized that Celestia had a lot of respect for them to.

Starlight finished her research and wondered how Twilight was doing in her imprisonment. She knew that Twilight must of missed her and their friends a lot. She decided to go and share the information with her friends and find out how they were doing it.

She first went to see Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie told Starlight that she had cried for a few months in the first year but was able to accept the fact that Twilight was going to be in her prison for a while so she had stopped and was now going through her days by hanging out with Starlight and her friends and helping out Celestia. She missed Twilight a lot but wasn't depressed every day about it. She talked to Pinkie Pie for a bit and then left.

She then went to see Rainbow Dash and saw that Rainbow Dash was bonding with her friends a lot each year during Twilight's imprisonment. Rainbow Dash couldn't stand one minute without her friends since being alone by herself would make her burst out in tears a lot so her friends were able to get Rainbow Dash throughout the day. She also spent time comforting Fluttershy.

After talking to Rainbow Dash She went to see Fluttershy who was taking it the worst. Fluttershy had cried profusely for each year a lot and was currently crying that very day so she comforted Fluttershy which got her to stop crying for a bit and talked to her.

After talking to Fluttershy she talked to Applejack who was taking it very badly. Applejack had refused to do any work on the farm as the result of Twilight's punishment which shocked Starlight because Applejack was always a very tough friend. She told Applejack that she understood and hoped that Applejack would come to her senses and help her family put.

After talking to Applejack she talked to Rarity and found out that Rarity was an absolute mess. Rarity managed to do a lot of work and cry but that was about it. After she learned about each of her friends she realized that all of them were doing one thing tiger her which was comforting eachother. They were sticking by eachother and seeing eachother no matter how they felt and that inspired Starlight.

After checking in on her friends Starlight went back home. When she got back home she prayed to the spirits to release Twilight earlier that planned and then tried to get herself to relax as she had her mind on Twilight a lot. She hoped that she could relax so that she didn't get upset over again. She couldn't wait to see Twilight again.
