The Sentence

It was the fourth year of Twilight's sentence and Celestia was preparing to tell Twilight's parents about Twilight's imprisonment. She knew they weren't going to take it well. She shouldn't have waited a long time to tell them but at the same time she knew that they wouldn't have taken it well.

Once Twilight's parents came to her castle she invited them in and told them to sit down in the entrance. Once they sat down she took a few deep breaths in the privacy of her room as she tried to figure out what to say to Twilight's parents.

After Celestia talked to Twilight's parents she told them about what happened to Twilight as carefully as she could. Night Light wanted more information however and the mother started to freak out.

When Celesta explained more about it Twilight's mother started to cry and flip out causing Night Light to work to calm her down. Once he calmed her down Celestia did her best to clear up the misunderstanding. When she did Twilight's parents started to understand and asked to see her. Celestia told them that it wasn't a good idea but they insisted.

Celstia's parents managed to convince Celestia to take them so she took them to the pyramid where Twilight was locked up. The guardians saw Twilight's parents and allowed them to pass through as they felt that they should be allowed to see Twilights prison as they were the parents just as much as they would allow Twilight's friends to see her prison.

Celestia took them inside and brought them to the floor where Twilight was located under. They began to beg Celestia to open the floor so they can talk to Twilight but Celestia didn't want Twilight to be disturbed and didn't want her to be depressed further and didn't so she didn't let them talk to Twilight. She told them that they can talk to Twilight again once Twilight's sentence ended.

She then took them to the other areas of the pyramid and showed them around. After she had done that Twilight's parents tried to get Celestia to let them stay but Celestia said that they couldn't as the Pyramid guardians were strictly against trespassing.

Celestia told them how she understood how hard it was for them to leave Twilight but promised them that they would be able to see Twilight again. Celestia took Twilight's parents into the castle with her and tried to comfort them and tell them that they didn't have much longer to wait to see Twilight again.

When Twilight's parents left Celestia debated with herself on whether she made the right choice in showing Twilight's parents around. She was glad that she didn't depress them by showing them Twilight as that would depress them but at the same time she wondered if she had already depress them by showing them the pyramid.

Celestia asked her sister if had done the right in showing Twilight's parents around the temple and she said that she had done the right thing as it was their rights as the parents to see where their daughter was although she noted that it probably did depress them a little bit.

Celestia then asked Twilight's parents if she depressed them by showing them around and they said yes but only a little bit but they weren't that depressed by it by a lot. She apologized to them for not bringing them to Twilight's tomb earlier than that year as they had a right to see Twilight.

After this she went back to her castle and breathed a sigh of relief as she was glad that it was all over and that Twilight's parents didn't freak out from the experience to much but if they had freaked out or cried she would of understood them.

Twilight's parents continued to countdown the days until Twilight's release. They wanted to see their daughter badly but they had to wait until Twilight's punishment was over. They went back to Celestia and asked if the punishment was a bit to harsh on Twilight. Celestia told them that she didn't think so and said that it was a appropriate punishment but she also said that she understood how Twilight must feel at that very moment in being mummified and restrained in a pyramid and if she were in Twilight's position she would have freaked out to.

Celestia told Twilight's parents how Shining Armor also visited the pyramid but the pyramid just made him depressed so he didn't go see it anymore after that and Celestia and Twilight's parents can handle the fact that Twilight was locked up while other family members couldn't and that it was understandable of Shining Armor being upset.

Twilight's parents expressed their sadness due to the fact Twilight being restrained and imprisoned Celestia told Twilight's parents that she understood that and mentioned that she felt sad about it to. They both brought up the idea of a welcome home party for Twilight and Celestia said she would think over that idea as she didn't know how appropriate it would be.

Soon Twilight's parents left once again and Celestia felt lucky that Twilight's parents didn't see Twilight as it would have been very upsetting due to Twilight's reported begging and apologies. She hoped that Twilight would soon see the error of her ways.

Celestia hoped that Twilight was going to learn a lesson from all of this just as much as Celestia learned her lesson by allowing Twilight to ascend to immortality and by the reports that she was hearing she heard that Twilight was still begging which upset her. She hoped that Twilight would start thinking about what she did. She felt sad for Twilight and understood Twilight's anger and sadness.

Celestia couldn't wait to see Twilight again just as much as Twilight's family and friends. She knew that Twilight was seeing the error of her ways because that was the only way Twilight would remember the lesson that she was learning in her mummification bondage.

She hoped that Twilight will learn her lesson in the end as that was the only thing which will prevent Twilight and herself from committing anther mistake.
