The Sentence

It was the seventh year of Twilight's sentence. Twilight's time locked away was almost done and soon she would be released. During that year Celestia had decided to go check up on the pyramid and the guardians.

When she got there she asked the guardians about how the pyramid was and they reported that it was alright. She then asked if Twilight's sentence had remained the same and the guardian said that it did, after that she asked how Twilight's behavior had been and the guardians said that Twilight was a lot more calm those days.

She went inside and checked it out for herself as she walked around inside it. She decided not to go and see Twilight herself as Twilight needed to stay in isolation until she was let out when her sentence ends.

As Celestia looked at the pyramid while she explored it she continued to think about Twilight as she knew that Twilight only had a few more years left in her punishment and once those years were over Twilight would have a tearful reunion with her friends and Celestia and the rest of the citizens.

Celestia knew that she shouldn't depress herself by looking at the pyramid but she couldn't stay away either as Twilight was there. She also couldn't stay away because of the unique room of the pyramid and the design of it on the outside. It was the most unique prison in Equestria that had ever existed.

Celestia knew that no structure would ever compare to this mighty pyramid however once Twilight was out the pyramid won't have any more purposes so it was planned to be destroyed. Before this planning had begun during the construction Celestia and the townspeople were almost afraid to ask the permission of the spirits but when the spirits told them that it would be alright if they wanted to destroy it once Twilight was out.

Although even if it was being planned to be destroyed some of citizens were arguing the for the choice to keep the pyramid and even Celestia liked that idea herself so they had asked the spirits permission to keep the pyramid and the spirits told them if they wanted to keep it they could.

Celestia thought back at how long it had been since she had last seen Twilight. She felt like it was decades ago only to realize that it had only been a few years. She hoped that Twilight wasn't mad at the spirits. Celestia was very lucky that Twilight had chosen to take her punishment.

Celestia continued to examine the modern marvel that stood within her mist. As depressing the act of what it was being used for was it was also beautiful in away. The spirits had done such a good job on it. She hoped that Twilight would at least realize how well it had been designed.

Celestia looked around some more and came across guardians that were walking throughout the pyramid as they were on guard duty in order to protect Twilight from anybody who wished to harm her and in order to prevent Twilight from trying to get out.

Celestia was surprised by the fact that Twilight had never tried to get out once during her imprisonment. It had shocked her because she was absolutely sure that Twilight would have tried to break out and be chased by the guardians before her sentence was over but she ended up not doing that.

Celestia was glad that Twilight had never tried to break free as it would have expanded Twilight's sentence or cause something worse to happen to her. However she also doubted that Twilight had always been unable to escape because of how impossible it was.

Celestia continued to search around throughout the pyramid. Celestia hoped that when this was all over Twilight would be able to put this behind her and continued to hang out with her friends and serve Equestria as she was afraid that Twilight would complain harshly once she got out.

As Celestia looked around she thought back to earlier that E year when she tried to get Alina to come here with her but refused. Celestia understood why Luna refused as she had a very understandable reason to refuse going there and that was the possibility of Luna getting depressed. She understood that Luna didn't want to get depressed and was not at all offended by Luna admitting she didn't want to go due to that reason as she knew how hard it was to deal with loss.

As Celestia looked around more she decided to go outside and look around outside as well, she looked at each wall of the pyramid and check out the designs on it. She was glad that people had taken pictures of it so that the evidence of the pyramid would never disappear.

As Celestia looked around outside other people called out to her or said hello to her which she answered each time. Other people began looking at the pyramid as well.

After Celestia looked around for a bit more Celestia went back to her castle and crossed off her visit to the pyramid off of her list and sat down to think. She knew that Twilight would be released soon so she was going to make sure to comfort her immediately after she hears the news that Twilight had been released.

Celestia had a feeling that this lesson would stick with Twilight forever. She knew that Twilight would remember this lesson forever as well whenever she thought about it. She knew that it would never go away from Twilight's mind.

As Celestia continued to wait for Twilight to get out as paitently as she could She continued to plan on keeping her promise of her not making people immortals. She was never going to commit that sin again and she was never going to doom someone or herself to imprisonment ever again. Celestia couldn't wait for the punishment to be over for Twilight.
