The Sentence

As Twilight's Sparkle's sentence got closer and closer to be over with Starlight and Twilight's friends continue to deal with the fact that Twilight was locked away but it was especially hard on Starlight.

While Twilight had been locked away Starlight has been getting therapy due to her loneliness that she felt due to Twilight being locked away inside a pyramid. She thought that the spirits had been to harsh on Twilight but in the end she wouldn't be able to say anything to convince the spirits that they have been harsh.

Starlight still had nightmares of the day Twilight was locked away. It was very traumatizing to hear how Twilight had been sentenced to prison for several years, luckily for her however she was able to get control over her emotions after several years.

Starlight knew that Twilight's sentence was going to end in a few years. It wouldn't be much longer now. Her and Twilight's friends can see Twilight again and start hanging out with her again while forgetting that this whole situation ever started in the first place.

Over the years Twilight had been gone Starlight had made numerous visits to Twilight's friends in order to be comforted by them and to be able to comfort them as well. She would not have the strength to make it through this situation without her friends.

If Starlight had lost her friends due to an accident or if a strain had grown between her and Twilight's friends relationship and the strain pulled them apart then she wouldn't be able to make it through the loneliness.

Starlight sighed as she thought about what Twilight could be doing at that very moment. She knew that Twilight was probably lost deep in thought in there. She wouldn't be surprised by that as that how Twilight was but if Twilight was crying and protesting in there she would understand that as well.

Starlight took out a photo album of her friends and opened it up to look at the pictures of her and Twilight together along with pictures of her with Twilight and her friends. The pictures of Twilight started to make her miss her even more. She started to wish that the sentence would hurry up and end quicker then how slow it was going now.

Starlight knew that she shouldn't enter the temple due to how depressing it would be seeing Twilight mummified in a box and isolated from the outside world and everybody that loved her and everybody she loved. She felt bad for Twilight and wished that she could save her but knew that would just make the spirits angry.

Starlight hoped that the spirits wouldn't come back and punish them for committing sins again but at the same time she knew that Equestria would have no other choice. She knew that she would be punished next if she betrayed her friends but she didn't have to worry about that as she wasn't going to betray her friends.

She continued to flip through the photo album as she looked at more photos of Twilight while remembering how Twilight sounded and how funny she was. Twilight had missed out on years worth of friendship building but on the bright side was that Twilight could continue the friendship building once she got out.

Starlight finished looking through the photo album so she closed it and went to go tell Futtershy about her feelings. When she made it to Fluttershy's place she told Fluttershy about how she was feeling.

Fluttershy comforted her and told her that it was almost over and that she didn't have long to wait. Starlight thanked her and decided to go see the pyramid. She walked down the path that would lead to the pyramid and when she got there she just looked at it.

Starlight took in the pyramid's beauty while thinking about her stuck friend. She was so sad for Twilight. She would have had anything to shorten Twilight's sentence so that she could see her friends soon but it was to late for that now as Twilight had already been in there for years.

Starlight walked back home by using a quieter path so that she could think about Twilight. She couldn't wait to see Twilight get out of that prison because once she did she can hang out with Twilight again and Twilight's friends can hang out with her again.

She knew that Spike couldn't wait for Twilight to get out either including Twilight's parents. She wondered if the event of Twilight being released was going to be covered in the media as she had a feeling that it would.

Starlight got back home and sat on her bed as she thought about Twilight. She hoped that Twilight didn't go insane while she had been in there as that would depress her and all of her friends as they all wanted Twilight to pull through.

Starlight couldn't wait for Twilight to be released as Twilight had a lot of catching up to do with Starlight and her friends as she had missed out on fun birthday parties and celebrations that happened yearly. Starlight and her friends had been smart enough to take pictures of these events however so they could show Twilight what they have been up to however they were going to make sure to be careful that they didn't run it into Twilight's face as that would be rude. They were going to be as polite as possible about it.

They knew that when Twilight came back they could have fun again as they haven't been having any fun due to Twilight being locked away in a pyramid for several years. That thought had depressed them and had prevented them from having fun but once Twilight got free they were going to make up it up for themselves and for Twilight. They were going to have a party and have lots of fun. It was going to be great to see Twilight.
