The Sentence

During Twilight's ninth year of her imprisonment Celestia was signing new laws into place for Equestria. As she was doing that she was visited by a messenger spirit. The messenger spirit told her not to be frightened as she had been startled at first and then told her that Twilight would be released in a few days. Celestia felt happiness go through her when she heard this.

She thanked the spirit and the spirit left. After the spirit left she told Twilight's friends about this news and that made them all very happy. She then told Twilight's parents this news and they were happy as well. And last she told Luna, Cadence and Shining Armor who were both thrilled by this announcement.

Her friends couldn't wait to see the day when Twilight would be released. They fixed their countdown to make it show a few days and talked to eachother about how they were going to greet Twilight once she's released. After this they told Spike and Spike became thrilled by this announcement as he had missed her the most.

Celestia talked to the spirits again as she wanted to make sure that there would be no more punishments needed and found out that there wasn't. She was going to tell Twilight how sorry she was that she had been punished.

Celestia knew that once Twilight was released Twilight was going to probably be confused while also being relieved. She was expecting that the guardians will explain that she was being released once she was and if they didn't they she would explain it to Twilight.

A debate in Equestria started over about whether the pyramid should be preserved years after Twilight's imprisonment. They decided that it would be to depressing so they decided that they would disassemble it. They checked with the spirits and the spirits said that it would be okay to disassemble it.

They prepared to make a plan to disassemble the pyramid as quick as possible as they didn't want to spend years on taking it apart as they had better things to do in Equestria.

Soon they started to measure the pyramid in order to find out which stuff to remove first. Once they figured that out they were all set. Celestia announced to Equestria that Twilight would be released soon and celebrations started to pop up all over Equestria as they couldn't wait for Twilight's return.

Celestia heard about the celebrations and made a warning to Equestria which told them not to celebrate to soon but Equestria didn't listen as they ramped up the celebrations. They were so happy that Twilight was being released so they were making it known.

Some people started holding grudges against the spirits but the spirits ignored them as it wasn't their fault that Twilight had been locked up. They reminded them to be grateful that Twilight's imprisonment wasn't longer than the sentence that was given to her.

The celebrations got crazier and crazier as people started to drink a lot and get drunk while singing festive songs for the princess's return. The streets started to get dirty and had to be cleaned much more often now due to so many celebrations taking place.

Celestia saw the chaos and realized that she should have waited to tell people or just kept it secret till the day of Twilight's release and then tell the people after the fact but she knew that it was to late now.

On the other hand Celestia was happy that so many people had missed her. Twilight's friends were seen hugging eachother in complete happiness. The celebrations went on for days as people never tired.

The celebrations in Equestria got even louder and more erratic so guards were sent to the areas to make sure that order was kept and luckily the people who were celebrating made sure to not get to crazy and riot.

Soon Celestia heard reports about people celebrating normally and that relieved her as she had been so afraid of rioting but luckily she wasn't. Celebrations continued throughout Equestria.

As the celebrations continued a huge crowd gathered around Twilight's pyramid in the event of Twilight's release. Everybody wanted to see it again as they were excited about Twilight being released.

The people were able to stay there for the next few days but then after a while of them camping out there they had to be driven away because of how rough they were getting. They had also been driven away as some of them were planning to camp out there so they went back to their homes and celebrated at their homes while others went back to the streets to celebrate.

Twilight's parents and friends were happy but they were going to be even happier once Twilight was released. They just couldn't wait for the return of the beloved fourth princess of Equestria as they had missed her so much. They started to pray to the spirits as they thanked them while others prayed to them to have Twilight released even sooner. The thanks was appreciated but the other prayers asking for Twilight to be released sooner than a few days was denied as they were just going to have to wait paitently to see Twilight be released.

The citizens were so happy and Twilight's close friends and family were to as Twilight had been in her prison for way to long. They had wished that Twilight's sentence had been shortened but unfortunately nothing came of those requests. They even bribed the spirits over the years but the spirits refused he bribes so people gave up.

Still they were happy that Twilight was being released. They hoped that they can cheer Twilight up whenever they talked to her after her imprisonement as it would be the right thing to do. As the citizens and Twilight's friends and family awaited Twilight's return they couldn't keep the excitement hidden as it was impossible. They just couldn't wait to see their princess once again.
