My Little MonsterVerse: Canterlot Uprising (SPECIAL PREVIEW)

"Sweet Celestia, what is that thing?!" Sunset called out as the large creature finally made landfall. It stood taller than the vast majority of the buildings in the city. Its back was lined with jagged dorsal plates, going all the way down to the end of its heavy and wide tail. The animal's head was flat, almost crocodile-like in its structure. As the girls looked up in horror, the beast began making its way into the city, it's tail knocking down several small buildings as it swayed side-to-side, slowly vanishing into the winding streets of Canterlot.

"Hey, where did Jake go?!" Twilight asked as the girls hurried off into the city. Already, buildings were crumbling as the creature walked past, as though not even acknowledging that it was trampling over several people. The girls watched with a grave sense of helplessness as the city's police force began opening fire at the animal, to no avail. A helicopter began hovering past, one officer launching a rocket at the creature's throat, which seemed to inflict some pain. The animal roared, before the girls turned around and noticed that its tail had begun to glow blue, the light travelling up the beast's neck as it growled before firing a thin beam of energy from its mouth, sweeping across the air to wipe out a group of helicopters and later moving it across the ground, wiping out large groups of people and demolishing several buildings in seconds. The monster spun around, redirecting the beam toward the girls. They huddled around each other, closing their eyes as they prepared to be obliterated.........and then it stopped.

Pinkie Pie opened one of her eyes and looked up "OHMYGOSH YOU GUYS THERE'S A ROBOT!!!" She screamed as the other girls looked up to see a large humanoid mech gripping the monster by its upper jaw before delivering a downward punch into its forehead. It roared as the machine continued to throw punches, knocking the beast back a couple times with each hit. Just as it was about to deliver a knock-out blow, the creature's tail swung around and slammed the machine into a building. It got up and pulled out a sun-shaped shield just as the monster attempted another strike with its tail. The robot then jumped over the monster's back, its right hand slowly morphing into an extended arm cannon, charging up and quickly firing a white-and-black energy ball into the monster's body, knocking it sideways and causing it to fall.

Just as the monster began to rise up for another attack, the machine grabbed it by the tail and, with all its might, began to lift it off the ground. Twilight's hands began to twitch as she sensed a magical presence coming from the mecha. Before she could speak, the rest of the girls stood in amazement as the monster was flung across the city and simply tossed into the ocean. They all stood there, with their mouths gaping open, as the robot bent down and held out its hand for the girls to climb onto. Before they obeyed, they heard a very familiar voice. "You have to come with us, quickly".
