CHAPTER 4: SPEC-OPS.

We went inside via a trap door and once we got inside a sudden scene of security entered all of our body’s as zero and bon let out a relived sigh. We entered a waiting room sort of area. I looked around curiously, something wrong Lyra? Zero asked. Yhea, where’s spark? Hmm I don’t know but we better go look for him. No said cadence. I’ve lost contact with the outside unit which indicates that the ceph have broken through the perimeter, it’s too risky to open the doors. Im sorry.

Bahhh it doesn’t matter, he’s smarter than he looks so he’ll figure something out. Then a sudden metal clunking was coming from the air vents above. We all pointed our weapons at the source. But then it stopped, silence. The only sound was shuffling from the other 12 guards. I was paying close attention to an old bullet hole in the vent. Something aint right here zero said in a whisper. He walked directly below the bullet hold and stopped. Hmmmmm.

I was staring directly up at it and I saw a shadow moving inside off the vent. It’s stopped moving and Everypony was still silent. Suddenly a quiet ‘’chink’’ from something metal hit my ears. Then out of the hole an oval black object fell directly in front of me. My eyes turned to the size of dinner plates as I shouted GRENADE!!!!!!

I turned around and ran for the exit while all of the others followed me. I yanked on the door but it wouldn’t budge. Go go go! I heard a voice shout. Out of a hidden door 2 solder’s dressed in florescent green and orange ran over to the grenade and put a bowl like object over it then bolted it down. CLEAR! I put my hoofs over my ears as did Everypony else. All I saw was a bright flash and a muffled ‘poof’.

They unbolted the dome then took it away trough the same hidden door but this time left it open. I cautiously looked at Everypony, I then walked up to the door and passed through with Lyra and the others still following behind me. Ohhhh my Luna I said with a wide grin on my face from cheek to cheek. [Note: if celestia is considered god then that makes Luna Jesus].

Holy shit! I said as soon as zero entered the room. Not time for delay cadence said as we followed her down the hall. You all have designated positions here she said. Bon you’re on the computer navigation team codenamed ‘oversight’ bon put a hoof to her head in a solute then rushed away.

Lyra, zero come with me. We followed her into a room witch you needed a key card to get into. She swiped it and continued talking. You two are our last shot here. We looked at her with shock and confusion. Why are we the last hope? HOW are we the last hope? She let out a sigh of pain. Is something wrong princess? Arrg no im not and sadly we all have the same problem except you three. What is it? Ebola zero blurted with his mouth left open. It causes cellular breakdown from the inside out. Is THAT why you made me put that protection spell on us I asked in confusion.

No, im afraid no spell is known that can protect against it the princess blurted out. The reason you three are fine is because of the magical radiation that unicorn’s project when they have a sense of security. The other one has a temporary amount that will wear off over time. But you both have enough around you to last more than a life time. Well we do hang out every now and then. Well this amount would require MUTCH more than just hanging out. We both shuffled away from each other.

The door slid open and as soon as I laid eyes on it, I made a dead line for it. I ran clean into it making a painful CLUNK then shouted; OHHH BABY DADDY’S MISSED YOU! You do realize your hugging a machine right? Lyra said. In more logical term’s a v-tol. The princess said still in pain. Of Couse I know that, question is how’d you guys get it here? I’ve been working on this baby for MONTHS in a secure room under my house.

That doesn’t matter right now; we need you guys to go force recon. Let me guess, you want us to go ALL the way back to ponyvile to get the prototype electromagnetic particle rifle or the ‘gauss rifle’ witch I already have. How do you have it! Your HQ was put on lockdown once the alarm went off! So? So how the living fuck did you get it!? I have friends, friends in place’s you’d expect least of all.

Hell I even have undercover agents in this very establishment. Who the princess asked dominantly. Fuck sake lady, if I told you who it wouldn’t really be undercover would it. Plus what’s the point? Damn, how? They raided the castle, only I and Luna made it out alive. May I speak with her I asked politely? Certainly. I started to walk towards the door when she put a foreleg in front of me. AFTER you tell me how you got the gauss rifle. Will a hint do? Why can’t you tell me straight up? Coz it would open up a time rift witch would suck you into oblivion. She grunted, fine. Two words. What are they? Cadence and Lyra both asked. Blue……box.

Blue box? Cadence said in confusion. Oh my god zero Lyra said, don’t tell me you mean-SHHHHHHH! Don’t spoil the surprise. Pinkie would scold you for LIFE if you spoiled this one. FORGET IT! I don’t even wana know anymore. Just follow me to the conference room. This dump has a conference room? Lyra said. Ha-ha just when you think a place is that shitty you find out it has a conference room I said with a chuckle. Shut up and follow me. I let out a cheeky laugh then followed her with Lyra beside me.

We were walking down a bright hall but it started to get darker as we went down further and further. Darker and darker. No lights. Darkness. Pitch black silent darkness. Damn it cadence why is it so dark in here? Cadence? I backed up towards the wall [I think] and hit something. I yelled and I heard a familiar scream. Lyra, that you I asked. Oh zero it’s you thank god. Uhh where’s cadence she asked? A weak strained voice came from further down the hall. Find….spike it said with a loud ‘shink’ and the sound of blood splattering on the walls. I heard it fall to the floor and with its last breath it said; and don’t blink. A louder shink and the sound of metal hitting the ground came this time then we heard something rolling towards us.

I saw a pink and soft yellow mane, not soon after lying in front of us was the heavily bleeding disembodied head of princess cadence. It had been brutally maimed and it had its corneas cut out. We turned around and ran toward the light. Closer and closer it became until we reached it and we both stood there with our jaws dropped.
