Chapter 34: Anti-Magic Knight

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Ponyville SchoolHouse

“Be sure to bring all your materials for next week. We’ll introduce you four to the class then, and hopefully you’ll be able to catch up with the curriculum by the next term.” Cheerilee says, looking down to the small group of eight kids and three adults. Four of the seven kids nod.

Amaterasu, Arakunia, Mei, Maeve and Dawn were being accompanied by the CMC, Gilda, Adria and Sonbāsuta to and from the schoolhouse to take some tests and get registered to attend classes during the next school year since the summer just started.

Gilda was there because it was decided that Dawn would be living with her and Fluttershy after the young colt was found to get along rather well with the animals and Fluttershy herself, so the griffon and pegasus are his unofficial guardians for the time being until the paperwork was filled out.

Sonbā was there as the trio of girls' adoptive father since Lex was busy doing paperwork at the guildhall.

Adria and Maeve were obvious since the latter is still really shy.

The CMC were there for moral support since Dawn, Maeve and Arakunia were a little apprehensive about attending school, the former since he hasn’t had the best experience with most ponies outside the guild before joining, and the latter simply because she is a changeling.

Cheerilee lives up to her name and smiles brightly to the young creatures who turned and began their small trek back to the guild. The CMC were up front, leading the way while talking with the ‘Fairy Heir Trio’ about practicing their magic together. Dawn stayed next to Gilda in the air as he still wasn’t comfortable around anyone other than her, Trace, Fluttershy or Scootaloo. Maeve just walked behind her mother, nomming on her tail again.

The group just made some small talk with one another, the Fairy Heirs wanting to spend some time before bed meditating and the CMC wanting to have a sleepover at some point.

All was well, and rather simple, but as they were walking none really paid attention to the ground, causing a certain canine to slip on something with a yelp.

“You ok sis?” Kuna questions, helping her adopted sister to her paws. Ammy nods and looks back to what she fell over, seeing it looks like a headband of some kind.

“A headband? Who would just leave a headband lying around?” Gilda questions, scratching her head. The others shrug as Sonbā walked over and picked it up. Immediately, everyone jumped slightly as they heard a voice echoed through their minds.

“I am the Anti-Magic Swordsman Asta, should you need aid call my name.”

The others all looked around for a second before looking at the headband.

“A token?” Mei questions.

“Looks like it. I remember Lex mentioning that all of us with Fiore magic have a minimal amount of Void Energy in us since it doesn’t originate from this dimension. I guess that means we can hear a tokens creed.” Gilda muttered.

“Anti-magic? I thought that was only theoretical?” Sweetie questions. The others nod as she is right in that regard.

“Hmm, why not summon him? He could be nice.” Ammy says, as her tail began to wag in excitement at meeting a new friend. The others all look to one another and shrug.

“Why not?” Sonbāsuta mutters before holding out the headband. “I summon the Anti-Magic Knight.”

A large black portal with redlined edges opened up and out of it came a large group of ponyish looking beings in a wagon that was being pulled by what looked to be a large lizard with wings and feathers. At the reigns of the wagon was an ash blonde haired man with his hair in a ponytail while he was wearing a black leather trench coat with a strange bull skull symbol on the back. His neon green eyes looking around for a moment.

“Ah!” He yelled out startling the kids. “Holy crap, no matter how many time ya go through one of those you don’t get used to it.” He stood up and jumped down from the cart. Looking to the children he spoke again. “So you guys found it aye, fun but none of ya look like displaced.”

“True.” Everyone turned to Sonba as he walked forward, subconsciously using his wings to cover the kids. “But all of us do have Void Energy, so we could summon you.” He looked over the large group. “Though I expected one person to come through, not a crowd.”

“Very sorry but we’re all returning from a long mission and…” the young man looked over his shoulder slightly before returning his gaze to the alicorn. “The others have been through a lot. As for the Dragon… she’s my partner.”

‘Hooo’ came from nowhere as a large owl came down and landed on the man’s head.

“And this is my best friend Nero. My name’s Asta Ferris leader of the Black Bulls Anti-Magic Knight, and King of the Black Clover Kingdom,” he said pointing to himself. “I don't mean to intrude but is there somewhere we can go to get out of the middle of the street and where the girls can rest?”

The group looked over the newcomers more closely, finally noticing some similarities to their own guild mates. A certain Griffon in particular took note of a slightly shaking girl next to Asta.

“Flutters?” The girl looked to Gilda and quickly hid behind her bangs. Gilda sighed a bit before looking to Sonba and motioning onwards. He nods.

“Well, you can come by the guildhall. I can tell you all have been through a lot.” The newcomers perked up in surprise. “Call it Alicorn intuition. Names Sonbāsutā, former Crystal Prince. These are my daughters Amaterasu, Arakunia, and Unmei. Over there is Dawn and the CMC. That’s Adria and her daughter Maeve. And you have already met Gilda.” He introduced, pointing everyone out before turning and motioning for them to follow.

“Very well,” Asta said as he quickly jumped back behind the reigns of the wagon as he thought he’d seen Sonbasuta somewhere before. “Follow the alicorn Ymir,” he said and dragon growled in acknowledgement. Nero landed next to Asta on the seat. “I’m sure you can tell whose all behind me but just a run down. Fluttershy, Aj, Spike, and Twilight. Another FYI, Fluttershy is probably gonna be a little clingy to me, she had a really bad experience on our mission and let’s just leave at that and say she one of my girls, okay.”

“Hey no problem there dude. We all have our own scars.” Gilda said, flying next to them. She looked to Fluttershy for a moment before whispering to Asta. “If it helps, I can have my Flutters talk to her and maybe bring Angel over. I can tell she is shaken up more than you let on.”

“That would be the best option right now,” Asta said with a bit of apprehension towards the mention of Angel.

Gilda nodded and flew over to Dawn and Scootaloo, asking them to grab Fluttershy and Angel. They nod and, to the newcomers surprise, a spell matrix appeared behind Scootaloo before she ran off, leaving a small cloud of dust in her wake. Dawn flew up and zoomed after her in the air.

“They’ll meet up with us at the guild.” AB said, glancing to the other Applejack before looking forwards again.

The walk was mostly silent as the group didn’t really have much to talk about, Gilda keeping an eye on things in the air while Sweetie and Applebloom were playing with some snow in their hands.

“I’m sorry to be a bother and I know we’ve never met before but I think I've seen you somewhere before,” Asta said scratching the back of his head. “And the little one said guild. Is this a Fairy Tail Guild?”

“To answer your second question, yes. All of us are proud members of the Fairy Tail wizards guild. I am actually one of the higher ranking members.” The group all show off their individual emblems, surprising the group, before the Alicorn sighed. “As for your first question, it is likely you had an encounter with your world counterpart. Does the name Sombra, ring any bells?”

“Don’t remind me,” Asta said rolling his eyes. “That bastard is trapped in my Grimoire.” Asta shook his head. “But no, I knew you were this world’s version of him after you said Crystal Prince. I mean I’ve seen you specifically somewhere before,” He said rubbing his chin as the group came upon the Guild Hall.

“Hmm, not sure. There aren’t many who know me outside of this world. It could be possible you ran into one of the Displaced members of the guild.” He said, helping the others off the wagon before turning to address them. “Oh yeah, I hope your dragon friend doesn’t have any problems with being around Dragon Slayer mages, since we have a few of them.”

“You okay with that?” Asta asked Ymir whole mere rolled her eyes. “Okay sheesh. She’s good as long as they don’t attack her and they’re not evil.”

“Alright then.” Sweetie and AB walked up to the doors first, before smirking and raising their legs before kicking the doors open.

“WE’RE HOME!”

The group walked into the guild, hearing their fellow members and locals all greeting them with happiness. The new group looked around in awe, the atmosphere instantly relaxing them as they saw all the creatures happily going about their days.

“Grunkle Emerald!” The group watched as the trio of mismatched creatures ran up to a crystal stallion, who smiles and grabs them into a hug.

“Hey girls, were you good for Miss Cheerilee and Gilda?” The older stallion questions, the trio nodding with smiles as he rubbed their heads.

“Hey Uncle.” Sonba greets, leading the newcomers in.

“Nice place, must have been bought on the palace's budget,” Asta remarked. “Is this mahogany or maple?” He said getting down and inspecting the work of the hall’s construction while knocking on it. He then went back to the wagon and helped the girls down one by one. His Spike jumped out on his own and Nero flew to his shoulder. Asta took his Fluttershy to a nearby table and sat her down. “Stay here for awhile.” he kissed her forehead.

“Okay,” she mumbled back.

“Girls,” Asta looked to his companions. “It’ll be best if you all stay with her for niow,” they all nodded. “Spike. Nero. You two are with me.” He looked to Sonba. “Now where too?”

“My girlfriend should be in her office with our youngest. She is the displaced of this world as well as the master of the guild.” He turns to the crowd before spotting a certain purple Exceed. “Hey Echo!” The magic feline perks up and flies over.

“Yes bro?” She questions.

“Hey can you go grab Lex and Yoru? We have some guests.” He said, pointing out the newcomers.

“Sure thing. One sec.” she flew over to the stairs, heading up as the group all began to take their own spots.

“Huh, this is interesting.” The group turns to see this world's Spike, being accompanied by Fizzle and Reni. He turned to address Asta’s Spike. “You’d think once I meet one of myself I would get used to it.”

“So you’re the me for this world,” Asta’s Spike said with wonder. “This is the first time I’ve ever met another me. Does it get any less weird?”

“Not sure. I haven’t really joined Lex on her interdimensional travels, but some of the jobs I have been on in this world sometimes push the line between interesting and absurd. Also, for now at least, call me Drake.” The now specified Drake said, flying over to a seat near the bar.

“How interesting. To think another version of Spike looks almost human.” Reni said, a scientist's expression on her face as she looked over Spike.

“Hey I’m a Drake class Salamander think you very much,” Spike crossed his armors. “I wield The emerald amethyst dragonic Grimoire. I’m one of the top ranks of the Black Bulls.”

“Calm down Spike, she meant no offense to you,” Asta interjected, causing the Salamander to huff with a bit of green fire coming from his nose. “Sorry about that. He’s a bit rough but the boy has a good heart. He’s just had a bit of a rough patch lately,” Asta placed his hand on the top of Spike’s head.

“Hey it's cool.” Fizzle said, carefully dragging the black dragoness back. “I mean, all of us have been through some crap. Reni here was going to be sacrificed by some cultists to Nightmare Moon had Trace and some others not interrupted.”

“Plus Trace himself is an amnesiac former cult member himself.” A griffon with a cute tiger-like features said, coming out of the kitchen with some food in hand for Drake.

“All of us have suffered something. Be it our own past decision, things we couldn’t control, or things we couldn’t react in time to stop. But, that’s what makes everyone so close to one another. None of us are perfect, we’re all flawed.”

Everyone turned up, looking to the second floor as a certain human said that. Her long, spiky blue hair with gold highlights and stripes was tied into a spiky ponytail. She was wearing a simple pair of black jeans with a white tank top beneath an open white and gold jacket.

In her arms was a small infant that made the girls mentally coo as she looked down at them from her seat on the railing.

“How long were you sitting up there Lex?” Fizzle questions, drinking some apple juice.

“Long enough. So, what’s up?” She said, jumping down to the first floor with a small thud.

“So you’re the guild leader for Fairy Tail,” Asta remarked as he crossed his arms. He looked over Lex once or twice then it hit him like a truck, “Holy Crap! You’re Alexandria Justine!” Asta pointed at the mage with a shaking finger and mouth a gape.

That caught the mage off guard as she turned to his friends, who were just as confused before Sonbā walked up.

“Lex, this is Asta Ferris, the Anti-Magic Knight. The girls and I summoned him to see if we could use tokens as well.” He explained.

“Wait. Ferris?” She turns to Asta with wide eyes, giving Yoru to Sonba. “As in Allen Ferris!? You’re Uncle Ed’s little brother!?”

“Six foot tall Edward Elric,” Asta said, raising his hand up causing Lex to nod. “Yep, that’s my older brother and there’s no mistaking you either. Nice to meet you and just call me Asta.”

Lex looked to his hand for a second, before lightly shoving it to the side and picking the slightly shorter man up in a hug, a huge smile on her face. Asta chuckled at her excitement, hugging her back before she put him down.

“Nice to meet you Asta. Welcome to Fairy Tail. Hope you guys like your stay. And your friends can order anything off our menu, on the house.” She said, sitting on the bar with a grin as Zen passed her an orange and strawberry smoothie.

“Cool, and nice construction on this guild hall and it brings me to a few assumptions,” Asta looked over to Lex causing her to raise an eyebrow as she sipped on her smoothie. “That you are either on every good terms with royalty here or two you are good with the royals and do incredibly well with making money.”

Spike leaned against the bar and remarked, “Mom is on shaky ground with Asta at the moment back home. Aunt Luna, Cadence, and Shining Armor are in better standings with him but he still doesn’t trust them. I think cousin Blue is the only royal that Asta does trust.”

“Well considering Luna, Cadence and Shiny are all members here, I would like to think they like Lex.” This world's Twilight piped in, looking away from her book.

“Don’t think that just because you’re friends with them that they still don’t consider you a threat to their ponies,” Asta said in an annoyed tone as he crossed his arms.

“Yea, it was one thing after another that led to Asta’s current standing with the princesses,” Asta’s Applejack said. Asta then held a hand up slightly quieting her down.

“If they wish to know my story I will tell them but for the most part it has to do with my abilities and what I could do to the kingdom ,” Asta sighed. “But first, I must say it’s nice to meet my niece, her boyfriend, and her little ones,” He smiled. “Now, what is the reason, other than to test summoning purposes, am I here for?”

“Well Sweetie Belle mentioned that Anti-magic was only theoretical in this world, so we were curious about what it looks like and what it does when interacting with, say, Applebloom’s Mimic magic.” Ammy explained, sipping her milk.

“Though I am a little confused about something.” Lex spoke up, resting a hand on her chin. “You’re a Displaced Asta, so you shouldn’t have magic normally, but I can sense a couple different forms of magic from you. And that’s not even bringing up that weird feeling I am getting from your grimoire”

“Your right on all fronts my dear niece,” Asta smirked as he puffed out his chest. “Originally, I didn’t have any magic whatsoever but after receiving an egg from a dragon rider Displaced,” he pointed at the dragoness. “Soon after Ymir hatched and graced me with the Mark of the Rider,” He showed off his left arm via taking off his jacket to reveal a massive dragon scar wrapping around his left arm that was an all consuming black flaming dragon. “I gained the affinity of ancient magic through the use of the Elven language. Later on, I defeated my King Sombra, while in the process he tried to steal my body by stabbing me with his focusi crystal,” He revealed the scar on his right arm. “the annoying asshole became trapped in my Grimoire and plagued my mind. Thanks to big brother, I was able to keep my body and gain control of Sombra’s power even gaining a crystal form. Ed was able to restructure the focusi crystal throughout my entire body thus further boosting my already high physical attributes.” He held his right arm in front of his face, “ Technically my right is crystal, or at least it turns into crystal when I invoke Crystal Asta form. As for the Grimoire, that’s where Sombra and my Demon are locked up. It also acts my inventory storage for the items I won from the Gambler.”

Lex was silent for a couple seconds, mentally going over what she just heard, before releasing a silent ‘oh’ and then shrugging and going back to her drink.

“Well, now that that is out of the way, what do you guys want to eat?” Flora questions, handing out some menus. Lex just laughed a little at Flora’s disregard of all the stuff she just heard.

“Do you have pot potatoes?” Asta asked as drool came out of the side of his mouth.

“Apple fritters?” Asta’s Aj asked.

“I’d like a steak,” Asta’s Spike raised his hand with a big grin.

“Some tea would be nice… that is if you don’t mind,” Asta’s Flutershy finally spoke up.

“What kind of magic do you have here?” Asta’s Twi jumped at the chance to learn. “And a coffee would be nice.”

“On it!” Flora saluted after writing the orders, before teleporting with her Air Magic into the kitchen, catching Asta’s Twilight interest.

“Well we’re kinda a mixed bag.” Gilda responded to Twilight’s question, motioning to the request board. “We have each of our magic powers written right next to the request board so those with requests can ask for a specific wizard to help out with tasks. Like Raine uses Water Magic so she is perfect for helping with a forest fire or something.”

“If you want, we have our own archives/library you can check out. Though a member will have to accompany you.” Dawn said from his table, causing the others to jump as they realized he was back.

“Dawn, that was fast. I take it Scoots is bringing Flutters over?” Gilda questions, earning a nod from the pegasus colt.

“I wonder if my copy magic will work on the spells of this world?” Ast’s Twi rubbed her chin as a book floated up in front of her, Lex guessed it was her Grimoire.

“I don’t see why it wouldn’t Twi,” Asta said as he sat down next to his Fluttershy. “You’d still have to touch someone while they’re casting a spell to copy it instead of touching their Grimoire. You gonna be okay?” He whispered as he quickly turned to Fluttershy.

“I’ll be okay,” she smiled as she sipped on her tea. I suspect there was more mental damage done than physical and she was doing her best to hide it but not from someone who’s got some experience with mental trauma.

“Am I gonna say it is someone else gonna ask,” Asta remarked as he chewed on his potatoes.

“What are you going on about?” Asta’s Aj smiled as she dug into her apple fritters.

“I was brought because of the Anti-magic. Kinda wondering why the Princesses aren’t showing up.” He looked around. “I mean one doesn’t carry around two demons with anti-magic and be summoned to a world rich in magic. Especially Fairy Tail mages, and not get noticed by them. Not that I can’t handle myself in a fight against them either.”

“I’d watch what you say,” Lex said with a smirk. “They’re not pushovers and they're not to be taken lightly either.”

“Not saying that but I’m not about to take threats lying down either,” Asta said flatly as he wiped his mouth. “If they’re like the ones from my world and as powerful as the ones from Sasuke’s world then I can handle myself.”

“Sasuke? You met a Sasuke, did you get chakra?” Lex was excited about this aspect of her uncle’s story.

“mmmm… yes and no. I did get the Amaterasu when Celestia fought me but only because chakra and ki are basically the same thing meaning I can manipulate it. I sealed the black flames in my Rider’s mark thus why it’s Black,” he held out his left arm again to reveal the black dragon scar wrapped around it. “Apparently chakra and Equestrian magic don’t mix well unless you're an alicorn and even then I suspect the sister had to take a long time before the unlocked Chakras power to be able to use it properly.”

“Damn, that’s cool. Granted I can basically do the same thing with my Flame God Slayer magic, so I’ll stick with Amaterasu Formula for now.” Lex replied, ginning as she finished her drink and readjusted herself on the counter. “And going back to the whole demon thing, I have access to pretty much all Fiore Magic myself, including Satan Soul, and they know all about the Displaced, so Celestia and Luna trust me to come to them if I get in over my head.”

“Plus it isn’t like this is Lex at her strongest. The master has a bunch of magic seals on her that hold in her powers.” Applebloom explained.

“Some of us can't be as awesome as the master Appleblooom,”Asta remarked. “I can sense my brother's connection to your magic but something tells me you know how strong he is,” he chuckled, taking a bite out of another potato.

“Oh yeah, I know. I swear your brother is just one or two decades away from becoming a Void Dweller.” Lex said, smiling to her uncle.

“He can’t become one from what he told me,” He said as he swallowed. “Due to his connection with Truth he’s unable to ascend.”

“Seriously? Damn. But I guess it makes sense in a completely ridiculous and convoluted way.” She said, before perking up as the front doors to the guild opened, revealing a certain pair of Pegasi. “Fluttershy, Scootaloo. About time you two showed up.”

“Um, sorry Lex. I had to finish feeding my little animal friends before I could leave.” The mare responded, a small smile on her face as she walked up.

“So what do you need me for anyways?” Lex smirked at the voice, which revealed itself to be a certain bunny sitting in Fluttershy’s bag.

“Hey Angel, good to see you again.” The bunny just scoffed. “So, I am not really sure why, but Asta here asked for you and Fluttershy to help comfort...well, his Fluttershy.”

That caused the duo to perk up as they immediately turned around and both versions of the pegasus locked eyes.

“O-oh, oh my.” The mare whispered, looking at her counterpart with wide eyes.

Suddenly Asta stood up and turned around, “Hello my name is Asta Ferris and these are members of the Magic Knight Squad The Black Bulls. I’d hate to be a bother Ms. Fluttershy but my special lady has recently been through an ordeal and I was hoping you’d and your pet bunny would help put her at ease if not just a little more.”

Slowly, Fluttershy nodded, processing what she was just told, before shocking the newcomers as she smiled with a determined glint in her eyes.

“It’s no problem at all Mr.Ferris. If anyone needs help, its the job of a Fairy Tail mage to aid them however we can.” She states, shocking the others at her confidence.

“Atta girl Shy!” Gilda called out, causing her to blush and retreat into herself for a second before she shook her head and smiled to her counterpart.

“How about you and I head to the archives for a bit Flutters?” She said, smiling at her surprised counterpart.

“S-sure,” Asta ‘s Fluttershy barely said with a half smile as she got up from her seat.

Asta bent over to Lex, “Can I talk to outside for a moment, please?”

Lex nodded, waving off her members as the Displaced duo made their way out back. Once there, Lex took out her rapier and drew a quick sound blocking enchantment around them.

“So what’s up?”

Asta scratched the back of his head as he looked to the side abit before letting out a harsh sigh, “This stays between us okay,” Lex nodded silently. “Back home, literally about a week or over a week ago I was summoned away while we were on a mission. The girls were kidnapped by slavers and Shy was sold to the royal family’s prince.” Asta leaned against the wall behind him and slid down it till he butt met the ground. “She was almost raped by that bastard and would've been if I‘d been a second later. Still though, she was still mentally raped by him.”

Lex remained silent, her hair shadowing her features, her smile from before shrinking slowly as she followed his example and slid to the floor next to him. She stayed like that for a second, before sighing herself, and grabbed the man, leaning his head on her shoulder.

“Odd how I always meet those who have been through worse than me.” She whispered. “Trace lost his memories as a cultist. Zen and Nate were discriminated against throughout Manehattan to the point they could barely eat. Reni and Dawn were nearly sacrificed by some cultists, and the latter had been living on his own through a bunch of bigoted assholes the whole time.”

She looked to the sky, her features shadowed still, before turning to Asta. He flinched involuntarily as her eyes became visible, one before blue with a black sclera, the other white with a gold sclera.

“For his sake, I hope you killed him.”

“Him his father, and many many more,” Asta said darkly as the shadows covered half his face.

Lex nodded, before sighing to herself, placing her head in her hands.

“This does not leave this area, so I think I can trust you.”

Asta was confused, watching as Lex rolled up her sleeves and lit up her hands in magic, creating some water that ran over her arm. His eyes widened as five healed scars became visible, each having been nearly invisible from how much they had healed.

“Never, let her fall as low as I did.” She whispered, looking to Asta almost pleadingly. “No one knows of this. Not my mom and dad. Not Adam, Nat and Sora. Not Ed or Luna.” She sighed again.

“I didn’t go through what she did, but I know her pain more than most would think. She was barely lucky as she didn’t lose hers, while I foolishly gave mine away.”

Asta got to his feet and looked up, “I’ll never let that happen, ever.” he gripped his hands tightly. “I’ll fully give myself to the demons I keep sealed away before I let her go through anything ever again. And gods help any who try and hurt her, my friends, and my Squad,” He slammed the bottom of his hand against the building with enough force to cause the structure to moan as if in pain.

Lex nodded to herself, rising as well, her magic hiding her marks as she held Asta’s hand.

“That is all she needs. I would know.” She said with a warm smile, one she only reserved for those she sees as true family.

“Now if I could only get the rabbit to stop hating me,” Asta chuckeld trying to light the mood a bit.

“HA! Good luck with that. The only one that little devil likes besides Shy is Dawn, and that is no surprise considering how animals normally act around those with past trauma.” She responded with a grin that almost matched a certain blue exceed.

With that out of the way, Lex dispelled her barrier and motioned to the guild, Asta following after her immediately.

“So what kind of magic do you guys have here?” Asta's Twilight asked with a curious grin as she placed her finger on her chin as she rushed over to Lex seeing that she and Asta were done talking.

“Well unlike you lot, only a couple members here use Item or Holder based magic. Everyone else uses Ability type magic, that is the magic that flows through and around our bodies.” Lex explained, hopping onto the bar again.

“Ah can do that,”Asta’s Aj said, holding up her hand and a small rock appeared in it perplexing Lex.

“Let me explain a bit,” Asta interjected. “See the Grimoire unlocks our unique magics and acts as a record of the spells we develop over time, like a save point or instant memory bank, most of us don’t actually need the Grimoire to be around to use basic magic, especially those like Aj and Pinkie who have a strong bond with the mana. Twilight is a little different in that she can do this but her strength solely lies in her Copy magic. She can copy any magic by seeing and touching it only once. Complete mastery over it as well, but the limit is that it’s only as strong as it when she first comes in contact with it.”

Lex's eyes were wide at all that, blinking a couple times as she released another silent ‘oh’.

“Wow!” The others turn to Asta’s AJ, who jumped at Applebloom’s sudden appearance. “Ya’ll can use Earth magic just like mah big sis!”

“I’ll admit. That is a really interesting coincidence.” Lex muttered to herself before turning to Asta’s Twilight. “So you use Copy Magic huh? You’re like a more powerful version of Applebloom, who uses Mimic magic.”

“Yea, but another downside is once I learn the spell, that’s it,” Asta’s Twi rubbed her arm. “Even if I go back later and get the person to use the same spell again and it’s more powerful that time, my copy won’t grow any stronger.”

“Yea that’s a downside Twi but an upside is that you’re able to combine different spells in your own way and make new ones out of what you’ve learned,” Asta reassured his squad mate.

Asta’s Aj turned to Applebloom, “Yea Ah can use Earth Magic but outside of big ole giants that small stuff, and plowin fields I’m not real good with it yet. If ya really wanna be impressed though ya should talk with Shy. She can use Gaea magic.”

“Ok that is way different than our Shy.” Gilda said from her spot nearby. “Shy uses Animal Soul Takeover magic. I am half expecting Shy to be using either her Cat Soul or Wolf Soul Takeover to help with your world variant.”

“In a nutshell my girl uses Nature magic and isn’t limited to plants but has a whole spectrum from earth to animals, though she mainly sticks with plants and healing magic,” Asta explained.

“Fluttershy has the potential to be the most powerful mage in the Squad right behind Asta,” Asta’s Twi said as she sipped her coffee. “But her shy nature hinders her abilities to create attack spells, even Pinkie is scared of what might happen if Fluttershy ever got mad enough to use her magic to that extent.”

“Yeah, I can see that.” Gilda mutters to herself.

“You guys are pretty lucky that you have her being able to use Support magic, we only have so many support spells here. And even then, only Kat, Amber, Arakunia and I can specialize in them.” Lex muttered.

“In the world of Grimoires anyone can use support magic as long as they focus and develop the spell for healing purposes,” Asta explained. “I might be the exception as I can only use Anti-Magic for attacks. If you have a Grimoire the only limits on what spells you can use are the one you set in place yourself. Even if you have low mana ntake you can still make a spell that can sink a ship or fix a hole in someone's chest.”

“Yeah, you’re guys magic is way more flexible than ours.” Scootaloo stated. “I mean, I use High Speed and Freerun, which are both physical enhancement magic. It’s not like I can do much other than increase my natural healing with High Speed on my cells.” That caused the others to look at the pegasus. “What? I’m a mage with physical magic, so I need to learn about how to use it unorthodoxically.”

“Have you ever thought about natural physical augmentation and ki sensing and control?” Asta asked.

“Ki? No. Ethernano and mana, yes. That’s something each of us try and learn naturally and one of the things I help with the most.” Lex said, the members nearby nodding to her.

“Some of us like Dawn and Pinkie are masters at ethernano sensing almost instantly, while others like Flora and Rainbow are still having some troubles with it.” Zen said from his spot behind the bar.

“Asta’ is awesome when it comes to the physicality of the body,” Asta’s Spike added as he finished his steak. “He has a breathing technique that allows him to control the blood flow throughout his body. It increases his strength beyond normal limits.”

“Only for a short time Spike,” Atsa interrupted. “But I have gained quite a bit of control over it since coming to my world. I used to only be able to use it for ten minutes at a time and now I can do it for twice that long while in a fight.”

“Are ya gonna tell us what ki is?’ Applebloom asked with puppy dog eyes.

“Getting there little one,” Asta ruffled her hair. “Ki is basically someone’s life energy. For those like me who have an affinity for t or those who wish to learn about it we must learn to read the flow of a person's life force. This isn’t limited to ponies or animals either. When you're reading ki you must be open to the entire world and ready even the slightest change in your surroundings. I have taken it further and can’t manipulate someone elses ki to speed their healing or,” Asta placed his hand on the table and a white light surrounded his palm and tiny sprg started to come from the table. Lex looked at Asta’s face and he looked slightly strained. Soon the light faded and he slightly fell to his chair. “Wooh, you can spark growth where there appears to be none. But heavily depends on what you’re using this technique on as if someone is recently dead then it is highly unlikely that you can help them as their life force is gone. While doing this is a neat trick it is also not without its own risk as the process can severely drain the user. We are literally using our lifeforce to stimulate someone else’s.”

“Huh, neat.” Was all Applebloom said before walking over to the request board.

“Really, that’s all she said?” Lex muttered to herself, shaking her head with a smile before looking around again. “Hey Gilda, where did Sonbā and the girls go?”

“Oh, he took the girls over to the archives to get started on their reading comprehension lessons.” The griffon responded, walking over to the board as well.

“Speaking of girls,” Asta turned to his group. “Are you two good with hanging here and resting for a bit?”

“No arguments outta me,” Asta’s Aj smiled.

“I’m fine with it as long as Lex let’s me check out some of the spells for this world. I really need to get some more outside the earth spectrum,”Asta’s Twi placed her hands together and looked at Lex.

Asta looked at his niece. “Your Guild, your call.”

Lex paused for a second, before snapping her fingers and bringing up an Archive screen, typing a few commands to bring up more screens. The other Twilight was amazed at the magical interface before Lex pressed another button, showing five screens in front of her with several members.

“We remade the old Castle of the Two Sisters into a training hall for the guild, and there are currently seven members practicing over there right now.” Lex said, the screens showing said members. “If you really want, Flora can take you over there and you can ask the ones practicing if you can copy their magic.”

Twilight’s eyes widened as she looked through the screens, seeing that one of them had this world’s Rainbow and Applejack practicing against one another, while the others showed ponies and other creatures she had never met before.

“Can I please?” Asta’s Twi begged him as she got on her knees. “I promise not to complain about training.”

“I already said I don’t care,” Asta shrugged. “But remember what you just said the next time Spike pulls you to the Forest after pulling an all night reading session.” Her eyes shrank to pin pricks for a moment but then she figured it was worth it to get new magic. “All yours Ms. Flora,” Asta said, pulling Twi to her feet by the collar of her shirt.

“Alright! Follow me Twilight.” The griffon said with a smile, jokingly marching out of the hall with Twilight right on her tail.

“So, how do you think she’s going to react to Azure’s Dark Regulus magic?” Lex said with a grin.

“The same way she reacted to Asta’s big brother power level when he showed up in the Crystal Empire,” Spike smirked. “She’ll crap her pants.”

“Language dude,” Asta got on to the young salamander. “Now back to us. What to do?”

“Lex!” Everyone turned to the door as a certain lunar princess made her way in. “There you are, I was hoping to catch you two here.”

“Oh, hey Luna.” Lex greeted. The mare nodded before turning to Asta with a raised brow.

“Displaced?”

“Nice to meet you Princess Luna,” Asta took a half bow. “My name is Asta Ferris The Anti-Magic Knight and Captain of the Black Bulls. I’m also Lex’s surrogate uncle through my older brother Edward Elric. Again, nice to meet you.”

“Nice to meet you too, I guess. I apologize but I have yet to actually meet another Displaced personally aside from Lex’s family, so this is a little odd.” Luna said, holding her hand for Asta to shake, which he did after a moment's hesitation.

“So, whatcha need Luna? You finished your mission?” At that, the lunar mare perked up with a smile.

“Indeed! I have finished my latest A-class quest with only a few walls of damage this time.” She said with a smile.

“Cool, so I take it Leo didn’t give you any trouble?” Lex questioned, going behind the bar.

“No, he was quite the gentleman. And I must say, Regulus is such a powerful magic to use.” Luna said, placing her payment on the counter for Lex to sort.

“Sweet, also here. These just came in. The Gate of the Outlaw, and the Gate of the Balance.” Lex handed the mare two new keys, to which Luna smiled brightly.

“Makes sense that you’d be a Celestial mage,” Asta said as he looked at the keys. “Hmmm… the ki coming from those feels distorted a bit.”

“Well, it is a special Spacial magic that I had to help create the bridge between our worlds. So the magic connecting a Celestial wizard is bound to be a little off since the connection is still relatively new.” Lex said, using her Archive and telekinesis to separate Luna’s payment.

“Oh, I am so excited to meet these two!” The mare shouted with a smile, acting rather childish for one her age.

“So you give out missions here too,” Asta said, taking a seat. “Do you have to be a member for that or can anyone help out?”

“Yes, you have to be a member, but you can be an honorary member like Kairi, Nat, Sora, Adam and Ed, so you can take jobs when you're here. But you have to remember a majority of these jobs are from out of town so it won’t be a quick ‘go beat up the bad guy’ thing most of the time. Plus you would only be able to take up to B-class quests unless I approve otherwise.” Lex explained, levitating the money away and towards Luna.

“And here I thought I could just go off half cocked,” Asta snidely smirked. “But just B-class, is it because I’m mainly a physical guy or that my magic can weaken me, other than my crystal magic that is.”

Lex leaned over the bar towards him. “It’s mostly due to Fluttershy. I have no doubt that she would accompany you and that you wouldn’t let her out of your sights. I was ranking B-class since anything above involves legitimate dangers that she shouldn’t face yet. Like fighting a manticore out of town or searching for Cragodile scales.”

“I believe the best thing for Shy right now is sit back and take it easy while here, I hadn’t planned on her doing anything really,” Asta rested his head on his palm. “And as long as Aj or Spike are with her then I think she’ll be okay.”

“Ah can vouch for that,” Asta’s Aj raised her hand.

“I mean I killed guys in that battle and was looking forward to some down time.” Asta’s Spike remarked. “So yea I can stay with Shy.”

“At all times someone has to be with her guys,” Asta glared. “And if she chooses to stay with me then so be it.”

“Yea you got it boss,” Spike said with a bit of a quiver in his voice.

“We won’t let anythin happen to her Asta,” Asta’s Aj said with a warm undertone.

Lex placed a hand on Asta’s shoulder, directing his gaze away from his friends and to her. She smiled and pointed to one of the nearby doorways, and what he saw made him smile warmly.

Both Fluttershy’s were walking out, the human-like one holding onto Angel with a large smile on her face as she spoke to her counterpart, who was currently hopping behind her as a six and a half foot bunny with wings.

“That’s different,” Asta chuckled. “Hey Shy,” he called out as he rushed over to his girlfriend. “Is it okay if I help out some of Lex’s crew with a few of their jobs?”

“I don’t see why not,” she answered with a little bit of nervousness in her voice. “As long as you don’t do anything to bras, that is if you want to?”

“Shy, I’m not going to fight an army again, it’s just a job to help some people out, but I promise that I’ll be careful,” Asta said as he placed his arms around his girlfriend in a warm hug. “I promise, and Spike and Aj said they’ll be at your side,” He kissed her forehead.

“What about Ymir?” Asta’s Fluttershy asked as they looked to see the kids playing with dragoness.

“I think it’d be for the best to leave her here,” Asta said, scratching the back of his head. “I think she might cause a panic if she walked around town, at all. Besides, she looks content where she’s at for the time being, Just don’t let the kids annoy her too much but I think she’ll be okay as long as she goes about her usual lazabout routine. She can always just fly up on a cloud to get away from everyone and you, the other Fluttershy, Lex and I are gonna be the only ones who can speak with her. Even if someone were to try and use mental magic on her it wouldn’t work to our link with the demon.”

“Okay have fun but be careful,” She said as she gave him a light kiss on the check.

“Yea.” Asta placed a hand on her face and brushed her hair out of her face. “Keep your bangs out of your face, you're way too beautiful to hide,” He smiled softly and gave her one more kiss before returning to Lex’s side. “All cleared. Now what to do first Guild Master?”

Lex smirked and snapped her fingers, summoning a request sheet that had some bags of money printed on it.

“There have been reports of some dangerous bandits harassing Appleloosa and the Buffalo tribes nearby for their food, but they haven’t given an inch to them. That said, Sheriff Silver Star decided it's better to be safe than sorry. A-Class.”

“Cool,” Asta smirked. “Can I request that a few guild members accompany, mainly Applejack and whoever else you might think could help?”

“Sure thing, I’ll send them a thought message. I’ll probably have Nate and Spark come with since there will be plenty of sand and heat for their Sandstorm and Rainbow Fire magic to work with.” Lex responded, taking out a telepathy magic card and connecting to the one Applejack had.

“I should be able to get by on my strength alone,” Asta smirked. “But just in case I need an edge I’ll stick to my Crystal magic and Black Flame techniques other than swinging my swords about.”

Asta placed his hands on his hips and rolled his head making cracking noise but he stopped suddenly and pulled something off his belt, “Yea, forgot about this. It will definitely come in handy.”

“Hmm, what’s that?” Ammy said, looking at the object.

“My digivice,” Asta held up a black and red chrome device. “It let’s my bring out certain tools and weapons into this plane of existence by using these cards,” he pulled out a deck of cards. “So, who are you little one?”

“I’m Amaterasu Shiranui, the Earth God Slayer!” She announced with a grin, before motion over to Lex. “And her second youngest.”

“That’s one of my girls!” Lex said, smiling at the canines introduction.

“That makes you my great niece,” Asta smiled as he patted Ammy on her head. “Nice to meet you I’m Asta Ferris, Captain of Black Bulls.”

“Ooohhh, that sounds cool!” The canine said with a wolfish grin.

“Ammy, can you help me out over here?” The only changeling in the building called out, lifting a very large book.

“Coming Kuna!” She responded, rushing over to the other child. Asta glanced back at Lex with a raised brow.

“That’s Arakunia, the second youngest and the Sky God Slayer of the guild. Right now she is the only changeling, but I am hoping that will change in the future.” Lex explained, playing with her youngest’s hair.

“Who’s this little one?” Asta gave a warm smile as he waved a finger in front of the child. Lex smiled and held the infant to her chest as she reached out for Asta’s finger, giggling all the while.

“This is my youngest, Shifuku Yoru. She is actually the only one really related to me since she was the result of a transmutation using mine and Sonbā’s DNA, along with a titanic load of magical energy collected by the Tantabus.” Lex explained, tickling the infant's stomach and getting even more giggles.

“Sounds like you had a bit of a hard time with her birth then,” Asta looked at his niece. “Did Ed tell you about the twins?”

“Yeah, I ran into them right before the promotion exam. Let me tell you those two are absolute sweethearts, especially when they met their little cousins here.” She said with a small smile.

“According to him Star takes after him and Eclipse takes after his mother, but unfortunately I haven’t had the pleasure to meet the little one yet.” Asta sighed. “I did see Star over a holo call before my mission and she was adorable. How my brother can have such beautiful children is beyond me,” Asta smirked. “But I think it's more their mother than their father.” He scratched the side of his face with his forefinger and noticed how rough his facial hair was. “Hmmm… Is there a bathroom I can use around here.” he looked around. “I haven’t been able to shave in a few weeks, and just noticed I really need it.”

“Second floor, fifth door down is Sonbā’s room. You can shave there.” Lex said, pointing to the stairs. Asta nodded in thanks and headed up, rubbing his stubble with a small frown.

“Fascinating!” Lex turned to the door as Asta’s Twilight walked in with a huge smile, following Applejack and Nate.

“Hey Twi, what spells do you have now?” Asta’s AJ questioned as her counterpart sat at the bar.

“Oh, this is great! I gained Flora’s Aerial Phose and Aerial Shot spells, Azure Skies Pitch Black Exploding Flame Blade and Pitch Black Punishment, Nate’s Sand Rebellion and Sand Trap, and finally Rainbow’s Hailstorm Hell and Lightning Cyclone.” Twi said with a huge smile, looking at the new, powerful spells in her Grimoire.

“Not bad.” Lex nodded before something popped into her head. “Hey, how about I let you copy some Acid Magic?”

“Acid?!” She smiled again. Lex rolled her eyes and gently placed her daughter in a small crib near the bar, before stretching her arms and focusing her magic, a faint purple spell matrix appearing before her.

“Multi-Angle Acid Trap!” Everyone froze as several dozen softball sized balls of purple acid appeared around the guild. They just floated there for a second, before with a gesture from Lex’s hands, they began to fly around, Lex looking like a conductor for an orchestra. She sent one ball to an empty table, and Twilight watched with wide eyes as the ball ate through the wood like it was nothing.

“Do be careful with that Twilight,” Asta’s Fluttershy said as she came over with Angel bunny in her arms followed by Asta’s Aj and Lex’s Fluttershy. Asta’s Shy nervously looked around.

“Where’d Asta scaddle off too Ms. Lex?” Asta’s AJ asked as she noticed Fluttershys looking around. Even though the incident had been a while ago she still got extremely nervous when Asta disappeared without her notice.

“Relax Fluttershy,” Spike came up. “I’m sure he just went to the bathroom. You know he wouldn’t leave without telling you.”

“He’s right Fluttershy.” Dawn spoke up, hovering slightly above her. “Asta was feeling untidy or something so Master Lex sent him to shave or whatever.”

“Ah…” the girl nodded slowly, taking a deep breath. “I understand. Sorry.”

“There’s no need to feel sorry Ms.Shy.” The group blinked, not recognizing the voice. They turned and saw a female they couldn’t identify. She looked like a feline, but she had visible barely canines and a thinner coat than any of the diamond dogs in the building and a large puffy tail. Spike was the first to look away, blushing at the newcomers' very curvaceous body that was barely hidden under a pink shirt and black jeans.

“Oh, Kat. How are you feeling?” Lex questioned, approaching the hybrid.

“Better. The doctors said I should be good to go on missions soon. Especially with my magic helping me out.” She replied, a bright smile on her face. Lex nodded, before noticing the questioning gazes from the interdimensional group.

“Oh, uh, this is Kathrine Spot. She’s one of our newer members, and she’s been in the hospital for the past couple weeks healing from a couple infections.” Lex explained.

“Ah, that makes sense.” Asta’s Spike said, before tilting his head. “So, not to be rude or anything, but what are you?”

“Spike!” The male got a small smack to the back of the head from Asta’s Twilight for that.

“It’s ok Twilight, I get that a lot.” Kat waved off, a smile on her face. “To answer your question, I am a hybrid between a Diamond Dog and an Abyssian. Though, I don’t know which of my parents were which.” She frowned. “And unfortunately that has come with a lot of problems.”

The others frowned and turned to Lex, who frowned as well, bringing the hybrid in for a hug. “She’s infertile. She can’t go into heat and so far nothing we have tried has been able to help her.”

“Have you tried asking Ed,” Asta said as he returned now clean shaven with damp hair. He turned to his Niece. “Thanks for the loan on the bathroom, I needed it more than I thought.”

“Aww… ya got rid of your stubble,” Aj came over and rubbed Asta cheek causing him to blush slightly.

“Yea well, never been one for the whole rugged look Aj,” Asta gave a warm smirk. “But back to you if ya don’t mind me cutting in?” he turned to Kat.

“Not at all. Honestly even if it is in the future, I really want to have kits of my own. So far all the magic Lex has tried, from healing to Embodiment, to even her poisons, nothing has worked as of yet.” Kat explained.

“I haven’t tried using my Alchemagic since I am not as well versed in Medicinal Alchemy compared to Ed or my sister.” Lex continued. “That last thing I want is to make things worse for any of my guildmates."

"If I may make a suggestion," Asta's Twilight spoke up. "Our Fluttershy excels at Gaea and nature healing magic. Maybe she can help?”

The other blink, as one second Kat was standing next to Lex who had an arm around her shoulders, the next she was mere inches from Fluttershy, a wide, hope filled smile on her face.

“Eep…” was all Asta’s Fluttershy squeaked as she vanished only to reappear behind Asta. She peeked out from behind his right shoulder with a flushed face, “I can see what I can do. If it’s part of your biology then I should be able to do something… that is if you want me to.”

All she got was a rapidly nodding head with shining eyes. Lex rolled her eyes with a smile as Kat and the Fluttershy’s went to a table and began to talk.

“Figures. I know she said she wants to wait but I’ve seen the looks she sends my way when I’m with the kids.” Lex said with a smirk.

“We all want kids someday,” Asta’s Aj added as she looked at Asta, who blushed while looking away and scratched the back of his head. Lex raised a brow but shook her head as she smiled, turning to her Applejack, Nate and Spark.

“Well you three. Asta requested you to accompany him on a mission to Appleloosa. Please, be polite to my uncle. Be careful as always.” Lex said to the members, who nodded and turned to Asta.

“So Ferris, ya ready to go?” AJ said with a grin.

"Please, call me Asta," Asta smiled as they walked out the door, “And I'm more than ready to go. So how do you want to travel?”

“I got train tickets.” Spark said, holding up said items while Nate took out a small notepad.

“The next train to Appleloosa is in thirty five minutes.” The canine said.

“Why don’t we take something a lot faster than the train?” Asta smirked as he pulled his Digivice off his belt and held it up. “Transfer-out: Behemoth!” Suddenly a light shot from the device transporting a rather large monstrous looking machine on two wheels, with a sidecar attached. “With this we’ll be soaring through the skys to Appleloosa in no time flat.”

The trio with him looked towards the machine with wide eyes, before they all ran to their rooms and grabbed their gear. A few minutes later, Asta, Applejack, Nate and Spark were all sitting on the top of the machine.

"Hold on tight,"Asta said with a wide grin as he revved the Behemoth's engine and took off popping a wheelie as they sped off. "Now the fun starts," Asta grinned manically as he flipped a cover on the handlebars and hit a button. In seconds the Machine was literling soaring through the skies.

Lex allowed herself to smile, before frowning.

‘Please don’t let Asta fall into the guild’s curse.’

Later….

‘I just had to ask.’ Was all Lex could think as she stared at the returned forms of Asta, Spark, Nate and AJ. All of them were slightly scuffed up from their quest, but not all that hurt. Spark and Nate were rubbing their heads sheepishly, AJ was looking down, hiding her face behind her hat with a big blush on her face, while Asta was just grinning like a certain blond shinobi.

They had only been gone for a couple hours, making excellent time dealing with the bandit, but they ended up falling for the curse of Fairy Tail.

Causing collateral damage.

Reading through the report from Sheriff Silverstar, the group of four had found where the bandits were hiding, inside an old mine shaft cave system, and proceeded to lay waste to them.

The shaft was set for demolition anyways since the mine was pretty much strapped for materials, but that didn’t mean they had to go so far as to blow up the freaking mountain the mine was underneath!

The resulting collapse and landslide destroyed a good portion of apple trees from the nearby farms as well as covered the nearby Buffalo Stomping Grounds, resulting in the group paying out of their reward. They barely made it back with half of their original amount.

Lex finished reading through the entire report, noting some area’s she will have to relocate some funds for, before grabbing the report, and several sheets that were just complaints, and sending them to her office. She then proceeded to walk over to one of the pillars, take out a sheet of paper with the message ‘In Case of Large Collateral Damage Fees, Place Head Here’, placing onto the pillar and lightly hit her head on it.

‘Thud why, ‘thud’ does, ‘thud’ this, ‘thud’ always, Happen!? ‘Thud” She questioned while hitting her head on the wall, not really hurting herself and more annoyed than angry.

While Asta and his group looked at the leader of this guild with some worry, the other guild members were all blushing, knowing they had caused this to happen quite a few times now.

At least she could heal herself afterwards.

After a few more slams, she sighed, her head glowing pink as she healed herself. She sat at the bar and took a quick shot of some whiskey, grimacing at the taste.

“God I wish we had Sake like back home.” She muttered to herself, missing her grandfather's Sake, the first alcoholic drink she’s ever had.

“Hehe, sorry Lex.” Asta apologied, knowing he was the cause for most of the damage.

She sighed. “It’s not your fault uncle. You just got caught up in one of the guilds curse.” She finished her drink before smiling shakily. “Property damage and cost aside, you four did good. But, please, try not to make a habit of destroying mountains.”

“No promises!” Another hit to the head, this one from Lex’s head hitting the counter at her uncle's response.

“Heh, nice one Asta.” Spike laughed, having had fun with this world's counterpart of not just himself, but the other dragons as well.

“Hey buddy, have a fun time with the other dragons?” Asta questioned.

“Yup, Laruma was a nice spar.”

“Screw you dude!” The dragoness was visibly scuffed up with a bunch of bandages on her scales as she walked out of the infirmary followed by both Fluttershy’s, this world's version looking far more amused than Asta’s marefriend.

“Hey, you’re the one who didn’t go all out off the bat.” Spike defended, the other dragons nodding with him.

Asta walked over and gave his marefriend a warm hug, earning a smile and a thumbs up from the Takeover mage as she walked over to the request board. She needed some extra funds for her animal friends.

“So, did you guys have fun while I was gone?” Asta questioned his friends, all of whom nodded, Twilight in particular acting like a bobble head. Ymir walked up with the closest thing one could call a smile on her muzzle as Nero flew off her head and onto Asta’s shoulder.

“There is so much information in their library, not just for your original Earth but from so many other versions!” Asta turned to Lex with a raised brow at Twilight’s excitement.

“I made a bunch of books based on Manga and Anime I watched back home as well as encyclopedias about the abilities so my members have more inspiration to create new spells using the other worlds as a base.” The bluenette explained. “I managed to recreate a ton of the Jutsu from Naruto personally, like the Rasengan and Chidori and even some of the spells from Harry Potter like Sectumsempra and Reducto.”

“No kidding? That’s pretty impressive.” Her uncle admitted, finishing his drink before sighing. “Well, I figure it's about time we went home.”

“I figured you would be ready to go home when you get back.” Lex took out a small bag that had several tokens in it. “These are copies of mine and my siblings' tokens. If you ever need a hand, well call first for me, but you can probably summon any of us should the situation call for it.”

“I’ll go grab AJ from the gym.” Fluttershy said as she left the building to grab the last of Asta’s group. Lex sighed, rolling her shoulders before walking Asta and his group out to the back. A few minutes later, the Takeover mage came back with Asta’s Applejack in tow.

“Later Flutters.” Lex waved the pegasus, who smiled, giving her counterpart a small hug before heading back into the guild.

“Thanks for letting us hang around Lex. Yer gym is something impressive.” AJ complimented, stretching and taking a sip of some water she had with her.

“Anytime. If you guys need someplace to retreat to for a break, don’t hesitate to call and I’ll have the Stargate in the basement open up.” Asta blinked a couple times. “Oh yeah because of a friend of the family, Kairi, we have a stargate network to use instead of our tokens. I also have some keys that let me go through mirrors to visit my family's worlds as an early birthday present from Uncle Ed.”

“Ooookay. That is a little odd, but I won’t look at a gift hor-” he paused, before clearing his throat and trying to ignore the stares of the nearby ponies. “Anyways. Thanks for letting us stay here Lex, and if anything comes up, feel free to summon me. Hopefully without things being bad on my end.”

“Here’s hoping.” Lex grinned, taking out the headband and forcing her magic into it, making a large void portal open up.

With one last wave, Asta and his group began to leave through the portal, before it closed, leaving Lex standing alone in the back of the guild.

She looked down at the token in her hand, smiling as she knew another member of her Displaced family was out there, and what was more, was peaceful to the worlds.

She liked how big her family has become.
