Interview #1:
Our first meeting. Split almost didn't come in, but he was coaxed by his parents. We didn't say anything, I let him just write in a journal. We'll take it slow at first.
He's formed an obsession with the death of [Illegible] in a way I cannot fathom. His entire book seems to be an analysis of it, which seems innocuous at a glance, but, if I'm not mistaken, he feels almost, responsible for her death for some reason?
Interview #3:
Split Second again refused to speak, and instead scrambled nonsense words onto a napkin. After about 15 minutes, I moved to talk about his book, and he immediately opened up, answering questions, allowing reviews on excerpts, etc. I think I may have a way around his paranoia.
Interview #5
We've made significant progress today. Despite Split's obsession with a so-called "Chapter V," we managed to change the topic of today's discussion from his book to his editors. He shared his feelings of hope and self-worth thanks to them, and may have expressed romantic attraction to one of them. He's getting better, just as I knew he would.
Interview #9
His parents apparently didn't like his choice of profession, this is new. They told me he supported him in his career choice, despite it's obvious financial difficulties. This posits a new cause for his afflictions.
I called in his parents to discuss this, they didn't pick up, even though I used his phone. I think they may no I've discovered they're deception.
Interview #13
Split confessed to one of his editors today. I didn't recommend that, but he did it anyway. He's to volatile right now, and I knew, I just knew he wouldn't understand. Split didn't talk, he just cried.
I feel so bad for him. He thinks everything is his fault for some reason.
Interview #17
Split came in today with an air of... confidence? He was wearing a new tailored suit and spoke with almost a, regal tone. I think he may be recovering at a faster rate now that he's [Illegible]
I'm glad. Soon enough, I can get him releas [The remaining section of the page has been edited out crudely.]
