An interesting turn of phrase to note at this juncture is boiling point. It is, of course, the temperature at which a substance in the liquid state will move into the gaseous state in the process of vaporization. However, it also has several figurative uses common in today's literary society. We use it to describe the harrowing endpoint of anger or anxiety. We use it to signify when a battle has reached it's climax, or when a person has reached their limit. SomeTimes, however, the literal and figurative meanings merge, and form a composite image of both emotion and physicality.

Twilight reaches both in a stunning display revealed late in her tenure. After reaching her emotional boiling point, she then reaches her physical boiling point by an immense release of pure energy, subsequently causing the fires102 in the eastern districts in Ponyville the following day.103

It becomes ever important to note, then how much of an impact on Twilight's perceptions of the world around her are affected by105
