Rainbow Dash is the coolest pegasus in Equestria. Everypony knows that...But sometimes she's the first to forgot it. Her unrequited crush for one of her friends makes very difficult to pass time with the other girls, the group of friends that she brought together long before they met. And an unfortunate series of poor shows by her part (mostly because of lassos and improbable match-up's) certainly doesn't help.

And to her limited perspective, this makes even less sense.

Days pass by, completely unremarkable, until a fateful night.
