Nyan Cat
Previous Chapter“Alright everypony get ready. This will be our first episode. I hope we do well?” Yuki nervously said.
“Yes Yuki we’re all ready for it.” Twilight replies. “I told each and every pony what to do. You don’t need to worry about it.”
“And I get to throw us a ‘Hooray for first episode!’ party!” Pinkie Pie exclaimed.
“That sounds great but just do not destroy any equipment since I cannot get another one.” Yuki said, more relaxed than before.
“Oki Doki Loki!” Pinkie Pie replies in her usual manor.
“Alright everypony, here we go!” Yuki announces
A screen pops up with a voice saying Ponies React to: viral videos. This episode: Nyan cat. The video shows everypony involved in the episode: the mane six, the cutie mark crusaders, Princess Luna, Princess Celestia, and finally Trixie. Then the video starts to play
“Oh my GOSH! IT”S SOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!” Pinkie Pie shouts with glee.
“Umm…what exactly am I looking at?” Twilight asks.
“Awe it’s adorable, and it is in space! Princess Luna says excitedly.
“Trixie finds this thing annoying.” Trixie say snobbishly
Rainbow Dash states “It’s annoying but the rainbow tail makes it about 20% cooler.
“What kind of thing is that? Did Discord make it?” Princess Celestia worried
“Well at least it has a rainbow tail like RD” Scootaloo said.
“Hey it’s a cat! My sister has a cat!” Sweetie Belle enthusiastically pointed out
“Ah like cats but why is it so annoying?” Apple Bloom asks.
“Ah don’t understand what this thing is.” Applejack states trying to figure out what the hay she is watching.
“It’s cute” Fluttershy shyly said.
“It is a crime against fashion is what it is." Rarity complains "Its rainbow colors class with the background.”
“Okay you can stop now.” Twilight said starting to get irritated.
Rainbow Dash haves her hooves over her head. She yells “Can you stop this annoying thing!”
“Yuki can you please stop this thing. It is getting on my nerves.” Princess Celestia asks with irritation in her voice.
“Alright you can stop now.” Princess Luna tells Yuki after having fun watching the thing.
While imitating the video, Pinkie Pie repeats. “Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow”
“Trixie demands you to stop this infernal racket!” Trixie shouts.
Apple Bloom now has her head on the table with her ears being covered by her hooves. Fluttershy is doing the same thing as well only more adorable the Apple Bloom.
“I think it’s enough Yuki. Turn it off.” Applejack declares to Yuki. The video fades away.
“Awe you turned it off. I like that cat.” Pinkie pie said feeling sad that the video ended.
“Thank you for that.” Twilight Sparkle said with relief, “It was starting to bug me.”
“What was that horrible thing?” Rarity wonders.
“Well at least that is over.” Scootaloo remarks
Question time:
“So what did you guys watch?” Yuki asks.
“I really don’t know.” Inclined Twilight “All I saw was a cat in space having a rainbow coming out from behind making the most annoying sound.
Pinkie Pie rants in her usual tone. “A cute, adorable cat that was in space and it was having a rainbow tail and saying meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, over and over again!
Trixie remarks bitterly “An irritating cat making the most annoying noise possible.”
“Ah really don’t know.” Applejack said dryly. “All I saw was a cat in space.
“I don’t know.” Princess Celestia states. “Are you going to tell me?”
"Well what you just saw was called Nyan cat" Yuki informs the cast.
Princess Luna cocked her head and had a confused look on her face. “What?”
“Ni-who?” Applejack tried to pronounce
“Oh…is it a new kind of cat?” Fluttershy quietly asks
Apple Bloom tries to pronounce it. “Neon cat?” The sound of an incorrect sound is made.
Sweetie Belle tries it next. “Ni-an cat? Is that how you pronounce it?” The same incorrect noise was made.
Scootaloo admits, “I don’t think I can even pronounce that”
Yuki tells the cutie mark crusaders how it is pronounced. “Well it is pronounced as Nyan cat. N-Y-A-N cat."
The three all said in unison, “ohhhhhhhhhh”
“So what features do you notice about Nyan cat?” Yuki questions them.
“Well it looks like a different species of cat I haven’t seen before.” Fluttershy replies.
“Besides how horrible the color clashes with the background then no.” Rarity laments over the way the cat looks.
Rainbow dash looks confused. “Why? Was I supposed to notice something?"
“Well its body is weird.” Applejack states.
Yuki asks “What’s weird about its body?”
Applejack answers him. “Well it look like a piece of pastry.”
Pinkie Pie points out. “It looks like a pop tart!”
Yuki is now confused and questions Pinkie Pie “You guys have pop tarts?”
Pinkie Pie responds to Yuki with glee. “Yea! How else do we make our pop tart milkshakes with?
Yuki just wonders how do they have something from Earth but just ignores it as Pinkie Pie being herself.
“Ummm…Oh I see it. Its body is a…pastry?” Twilight now being confused as to how a cat can have a pastry for a body. “That is scientifically impossible.”
Yuki asks the group. “Now what was the cat doing in the animation?”
“Making the most wretched noise possible.” Princess Celestia groans
Trixie looks pissed off when she said. “It was annoying Trixie
“Flying in space while saying the same thing” Scootaloo pointed out the obvious.
“It was flying in space while making the cutest sound…”Princess Luna happily tells Yuki but then she said less enthusiastically “…until it kept repeating the same noise.
Pinkie Pie shouted out loud “OH! OH! It was flying in space leaving a rainbow trail behind like Rainbow Dash!”
“Now this video is really popular among the internet.” Yuki tells them “Now how many views do you think this has?
Applejack guess: “25”
Rarity said in an uptight tone. “Not even 10 views.”
“I don’t know. Do I look like an egghead?” Rainbow Dash told Yuki
Twilight is thinking really hard but confidently said “100.”
Fluttershy looks nervous and says “I really don’t know…is that alright?”
Yuki sees this and consoles Fluttershy. “Yes that is alright Fluttershy.”
“A GAZILLION!” The cutie mark crusaders yell.
Princess Luna ponders and states. “1,000”
Princess Celestia is uncertain and guesses. “I think that at least 250 ponies watched it.”
“83,708,034” Pinkie Pie guesses the exact number of views. Yuki’s mouth is agape when she guessed the right number.
“Wow…” said a stunned Yuki “That’s exactly the right amount of views.”
“Really?" Pinkie Pie shrugs "I was just taking a shot in the dark with that one.”
“Don’t question her Yuki, it is better left unexplained.” Yuki muttered with a headache forming.
“Well there are a total of 83 million views.” Yuki tells the cast.
Twilight is shocked and stutters, “83 mi-mi-million!”
Rainbow Dash now haves her mouth agape when she hears this. Trixie chocks on her water and is now coughing furiously.
Princess Celestia has a dumbfounded look when saying. “That’s more than the entire population of Ponyville, Canterlot, and Fillydelphia combined.”
“How can something so annoying get so many views!” Trixie rages.
“Really. That many ponies saw the video.” Applejack said while being shocked about the amount of views.
“Umm…maybe because he’s cute.” Fluttershy reasoned.
“He’s adorable! Just look at him!” Pinkie pie turns the screen towards the camera. “Don’t you want to kidnap him?”
“I really don’t know why.” Twilight dictates.
“Maybe because ponies like that.” Apple bloom confers.
“Well ponies have different preference and I guess people like to hear a flying cat in space.” Princess Luna suggests.
“Well did you know that there is a ten hour version of this as well on the internet.” Yuki informs the group.
Rarity has her mouth agape and her eyes wide open. “Ten hours? Why would anyone want to watch ten hours of this fashion reject.” Rarity fumes.
“I was annoyed with it since the first minute of watching it.” Scootaloo declares
“Ten hours! Can I watch it! Can I! Can I!” Pinkie pie implores while jumping up and down.
Yuki then stops Pinkie Pie from bouncing and tell her. “Maybe later Pinkie Pie. We have a time schedule to keep up with."
“Well whoever did that must have a lot of time on their hands.” Princess Celestia commends.
“I wonder if I can get my cutie mark for endurance if I watch this for ten hours.” Sweetie Belle wonders out loud.
“Now last question. Would you like to watch it again?” Yuki asks the cast.
“No” Twilight states.
“Never” Trixie avers.
Fluttershy shyly said. “Yes. He’s cute and adorable.”
“Not if you paid me.” Affirms Rainbow Dash.
“Nope. Ya’ won’t get this cowmare to watch that dang video again.” Applejack informs.
Rarity snobbishly states, “Never in my lifetime.”
Princess Celestia giggles and said. “I don’t think I will give it another chance.”
“I like it. Also, I can use it to bug Tia.” The princess of the night teases.
“LUNA!” the sister shouted.
“Maybe. I really don’t know.” Apple bloom said uncertainly.
Sweetie belle smiles “I like the cat he is cute and the sound he makes can be overlooked.”
“What did Rainbow Dash say?” Scootaloo asks Yuki.
Yuki replies wondering what does knowing Rainbow Dash's answer have to do with hers, ”She said no.”
“Then no.”
“Yes! Can you play it again! Pretty please with sugar on top of a three layer cake with frosting and sprinkles and… “ Pinkie pie rants excitingly but Yuki covers her mouth.
“Yes if you stop talking.” Yuki stressed. Then the phone rings as he puts on the video. “Wait I have to take this.”
Pinkie Pie is watching the video again. “This is so amazing. I wonder…”
Yuki comes back and can’t find Pinkie Pie. “Pinkie Pie, where did you go?” He turns around and sees Pinkie Pie in the video as well. Yuki tries to figure it out and ends up getting a headache. “How did she…never mind just ignore it so you won’t suffer from brain trauma.”
“Nyan, nyan, nyan, nyan, nyan, nyan, nyan, nyan.”
Now the exist music comes up as Princess Celestia and Princess Luna are on stage.
“Hello fellow subjects. Princess Celestia here with my sister Luna.” Princess Celestia introduces.
“If you like what you just watch, please leave a like and a favorite if you are using the website called YouTube.” Princess Luna chimes in.
“Also, if you want us to watch more bizarre videos, then leave us a comment in the comment box.”
“And subscribe to Yuki Harima if you want to see more of us reacting to your favorite videos".
“Anyway, good bye my fellow subjects.” Princess Celestia waves good bye to them. Princess Luna gets a mischievous look on her face.
“Hey Tia.” Princess Luna attracts the attention of her sister.
“What?” she asks. Princess Luna puts on the tune to Nyan Cat.
“AH! Get the infernal racket away from me.” Princess Celestia shouts as she runs off stage.
“But it’s adorable.” Princess Luna runs off and tries to catch up to her sister. The exist music ends.
“Alright, I got enough footage and now I will go edit it out. Twilight and I will try to get this before nightfall. We will send you each a letter on how it went.” The rest of the ponies left the room and continued to their daily activities and talked about what they just saw. Pinkie Pie got out of the computer somehow and left with the rest of the group. Yuki and Twilight go through the video and takes out some of the unnecessary parts they didn’t need. By the end of the night, they finish putting the video together.
“Well Twilight that went pretty well." Yuki said as he finishes the latest touches onto the video.
“It was actually fun.” Twilight smiles, “I got to see a video that humans enjoy and got some great footage for my research.”
“And I was happy to help,” Yuki then goes to his YouTube account and posts the video there He also went to Twilights page, “Which Yuki helped create earlier in the day, and is about to post the video there.
“Twilight, are you ready to put this up on YouTube and the ponynet.” Yuki asks.
“Yes I am. This is really exciting! We are making history together!” she gleefully shouts. Yuki uploads the videos on YouTube.
Yuki uploads the video onto both his account and Twilight's website. “There you have it. The video is on both my YouTube account and your new webpage.”
“Thanks for helping Yuki,” Twilight thanks him.
“Well you are my employer; I kinda have to do this. I need to earn my keep.” Yuki gets up and heads to the guest room he was using as his new bedroom. “Remember our deal Twilight.”
“Oh…right,” Twilight sheepishly replies, “I’ll start that real soon.” Yuki didn’t notice the nervousness in her voice and just went to bed. Then Twilight gets depressed, “How am I going to tell him that I can’t fulfill the deal."
