Shiny vs Sunny

Shining Armor and Sunburst were sitting on the little plastic potties with their pull-ups pulled down to their hooves and were too embarrassed to speak to each other. Sunburst sighed and mumbled. “I not going potty I just peed.”

Shining gave a nod and continued, “Yeah, I can’t go either after I just went poopies, and I don’t wanna sit here aww day, we needs to find Fwurry and Fizzwepop and make tem tuwn us back to nowmam.”

Sunburst got up and helped fixed Shining’s pull-up, blushing upon seeing how chubby Shining was as he poked the padding. “Aww, ya so chubby now.”

Shining wined and poked Sunburst’s belly. “Ya chubby too, wook at aww tat foaw fat.”

Sunburst then fixed Shining Armor’s pull-up and smirked. “Ya gots silly suns on ya pull-up, mine is way bettew.”

Sunburst pouted and stuck his tongue out. “Nu uh. Mine’s way coower!”

Shining just patted the pull-up. “It wooks mowe wike a diapey, ya sure ya not gonna pee in it a second time?”

Sunburst growled. “Ya watch, ya gonna pee pee in ya puww-up befoew we find those two fiwwies.”

Shining scoffed at the statement. “Oh yeah? Wanna make a bet?”

Sunburst babbled. “If ya go pee pee in ya puww-up befowe we tuwn back to nowmaw, ya’s gotta do a poopie in it the next time ya have to go, and ya can’t use ta potty.”

“Fine, but if ya the one who goes pee pee, ya the one who has to do a numbew two in it!” Shining retorted and the two shook hooves on the deal. They then both waddled out of the bathroom and peeked down the hall, they saw nopony and Shining Armor whispered. “The coast is cwear.”

Both colts waddled down the hall in search of Flurry and Fizzlepop. Suddenly, from out of nowhere a guard came up from behind. He didn’t recognize either foal. “Halt, who are you two?” He questioned.

Both colts froze and slowly turned around as Shining saw it was one of his guards. He proudly waddled up and proclaimed. “I ta pwince of ta Cwystaw Empiwe, Shiny Awmow! Can ya hewp us, Mw. Guawd?”

Sunburst nodded and explained. “Yeah, we wew tuwned into foaws by Fwurry Heawt and Fizzwepop, and we need youw hewp to find tem.”

The guard burst into laughter. “Wow, what a fun little adventure story you’ve cooked up, you two are great! Now come on, I’m sure your parents are worried sick. Let’s get you back to them.” He lifted both colts onto his back as Shining stomped up and down and then whined. “Stop that, we not babies!”

Sunburst blushed. “Ya suwe awe acting wike one.”

Shining turned around with a glare. “Say tat one mowe time, Sunbuwst!”

The guard chuckled. “Alright, calm down you two. Now, before we find your parents, do either of you need to use the potty, little champs in the making? I don’t want any accidents.”

Both colts got really angry and shouted at the same time. “No, we fine!”

The guard snickered. “Alright, just don’t go pee on my back. You hear me? I’m not changing pull-ups.”

Sunburst crossed his hooves and grumbled. “We not babies, we can take cawe of ouwseves.”

Shining turned to see Flurry’s room and babbled. “Thewe, we need to see Fwurry and Fizzwepop!”

The guard turned around with a nod. “I guess that will be fine. You little ones can make some new friends, and I’ll look for your parents” He trotted into the room and placed the two foals on the ground where Flurry Heart and Fizzlepop both gasped and crawled over.

Fizzlepop came over and hugged Sunburst, brushing her diaper up against his pull-up as she asked. “Hey, ya okay, Mw. Sunbuwst?”

He blushed, a little embarrassed, and hugged her back. “Yeah, I fine, and tanks.”

Meanwhile, Flurry tackled her dad and giggled. “Aww, ya so cute, Daddy!”

Shining Armor giggled and kicked in his pull-up as he babbled. “Hey, stop tat ya two!”

The guard watched with wide eyes. “Wow, you really were telling the truth. I thought there was something familiar about you two.”

Shining got up and babbled. “Of course I tellin’ ta twuth, now Flurry ya and Fizzwepop gots to turn us back to nowmaw, pwease.”

Flurry Heart blushed. “Uh, owa magic is powefuw but we dun know what to do! We needs to wait fow ta cuwe fwom owa teachew.”

Sunburst sighed and gave a nod. “She has a point, Shiny. Tey wew just messin’ awound with magic suwges. We stiww dun know ta effects ow what couwd happen if they twy to do it again.”

Shining got up and pouted. “Not faiw, ya two weawwy messeed up! Ya even tuwned a toiwet into a twaining potty!”

Flurry blushed. “We was just twyin to hewp. We didn’t mean to mess with anyting. Besides, the potty is better tat way. When it was biggew, it awmost ate Fizzwepop!”

Fizzlepop nodded. “Yeah, I feww in whiwe it was fwushing! So scawy! Twaining potties dun do tat to ya!”

Just then, Cadence came into the room. “Oh, there you are. You two had me worried sick when I couldn’t find you in the bathroom.” She took both Sunburst and Shining into her magical embrace and nuzzled them closer to her chest, then she began to check their pull-ups as Shining Armor growled and whined, “We just went potty wike five minutes ago, Cadence!”

Cadence tried not to roll her eyes. “You’re toddlers, you should know by now that foals have unstable bladders and even sometimes bowels.”

Everyone giggled, and then Sunburst waddled up and asked. “So, ya gots ta cure, wight?”

Cadence shook her head. “I’m afraid not. I just came by to explain that the shipment will be coming in by tomorrow. Seeing that the cure is very sensitive, it has to be delivered by hoof. But I was told I also need to have you both checked up on.”‘

Shining eyed his wife and asked. “Wha ya mean? Sunbuwst and I feew fine.”

Cadence sighed. “When Flurry Heart and Fizzlepop hit you with magic and regressed you and Sunburst into toddlers, it may have had some side effects that go beyond just the regression itself.” She then scooped both foals onto her back with magic as Shining whined. “Wait…who’s doing tis check up?”

Cadence continued as she placed them on Flurry’s changing table. “Well, we need to see Flurry’s doctor for that. But that also means I can’t have you two having accidents, and you know what that means.” She laid both ponies down and began the change. The mare hummed and proceeded with taking out two, thick blue diapers, slowly taping them around each colt and giggling, watching them pout in their new padding.

Shining growled. “Ya doing tis just to have an excuse to put me in diapees, wight?”

Cadence just winked. “Maybe, but you have to admit that diaper matches your eyes.”

Shining shook his head in disappointment as Sunburst got up and bounced in his new padding a little. “Weww, it is quite comfowtabwe, actuawwy.”

Cadence took out a two seated stroller and then placed each colt inside as she strapped them in. “Now if either of you need anything just let me know, okay? You’re both colts now, it’s perfectly okay to ask for help,” Both colts whimpered as Cadence pushed the stroller down the hall and turned to one of the passing guards. “Oh, Cannon Feather. While you’re here, can you watch Flurry and Fizzlepop while I’m gone?”

Cannon Feather gulped and put a hoof into the ground. Truth be told he was kind of terrified of the magical power the two fillies had. But he couldn’t bring himself to say no to the princess of love. “Uh sure…” He turned to the two fillies as Fizzlepop whispered with a mischievous grin on her face. “Hey, do woyaw guawds need diapees too? Tey wowk aww day and night aftew aww.”

Flurry Heart gave a nod and explained. “When I become pwincess, I making aww my guawds weaw diapees…but we need to see what wowks…so...”

Before long, poor Cannon Feather would find himself be diapered by the foals, who laughed and laughed at his misfortune. “I sure hope Bucket Bridle and Bright Wing don’t find out about this,” He thought to himself. “It’s bad enough they say I’m a junior guard, I don’t need them thinking I need more potty training. I was out of diapers before I was five, thank you very much.”

Both Shining Armor and Sunburst now sat in a doctor’s room with rainbow colored walls and a jar full of lollipops on the doctor’s desk. Sunburst looked at them with some drool coming down his chin. He wouldn’t admit it, but to his toddler mind they looked so delicious.

Cadence chuckled, lifted one of the lollipops and popped it into Sunburst’s mouth who blushed. Shining rolled his eyes as Cadence cooed. “Do you want a lollipop too, Shining?”

Shining Armor scoffed. “Of couwse not, I not a foaw!”

Cadence ruffled his mane. “Oh, you’re just so adorable. Maybe I’ll keep you like this for a little while.”

Sunburst giggled and Shining whined. “No, ya bettew not! Or so hewp me I nevew speaking to ya again!”

Just then, a cute white coated unicorn mare with a swirling mane and tail of light pink and bright yellow appeared, sporting cheerful blue eyes, with her cutie mark being a smiling sun. She smiled at the princess. “Ah, so these are the two little colts you mentioned.”

They both blushed as Cadence explained. “Hello, Doctor Sunshine, we need a checkup for my husband and crystaller. They both were turned into foals by my daughter and I just want to make sure they’re okay…and also see how old they are…”

Doctor Sunshine was confused but shrugged and reply “Alright, I guess. Weird things like this happen all the time around here it seems,” She took out a stethoscope and placed it on both their chests making the colts shiver form the cold metal touching their bare fur. Then she went about checking their breathing, and then went about checking their reflexes with a rubber hammer. Finally she took a popsicle stick, placed it upon their tongues and shined a flashlight down each of their throats. She then got up and proclaimed. “Well, I can safely say these two are perfectly healthy. From their dental and undeveloped bones, I would put both at three years old exactly.”

The two colts squeaked in horror. “Thwee?!”

Cadence clapped her hooves together and squealed, “Oh, that’s perfect! Well then, thank you very much, Doctor Sunshine,” She then took out two lollipops. “Do you want one?” She offered the colts

This time the colts both gladly accepted one as they were placed back in the stroller. Both colts, blinked coming to the realization on how young they were in body and mind.

Later that night, both colts were now in booster seats at the dinner table with cut up vegetables, and sippy cups filled with milk. Cadence eyed her regressed husband. “You better eat all your food, Shining. Or do you need Mommy to help?”

Shining Armor growled. “I can do it by myself, ya not my weaw mommy!” He tired lifting his plastic fork and knife with his magic, but nothing worked, his horn wouldn’t even spark.

Sunburst did a better job at being able to cut up his veggies and scoop them into his mouth. He stuck his tongue out at Shining, who furiously took a scoop of mashed potatoes and flung it at Sunburst.

It struck him in the face, making him roar with anger. He then throw another hoofful of mashed potatoes back at Shining, splattering mashed potatoes all over the place! Soon a full scale food fight had broken out between the two.

Furious, Cadence looked around and shouted. “Hey, stop that! No food fights at the dinner table, young colts!” She then took both colts and placed them in timeout (after cleaning them up). “There, now you two better stop this or you’re going to be in time out for thirty minutes.”

Both colts stuck tongues out at each other and turned away. Cadence sighed. “Two colts are harder to raise than I thought.”

Later that night, Cadence was helping her little colts brush their teeth, and then had them sit on the potty for ten minutes even though they whined that they didn’t have to go. Afterwards she had both strapped into nighttime diapers that were really thick.

Shining whined. “We’re toddwers, Cadence.”

Cadence simply replied. “I know, and at your age wetting the bed is quite normal. I’d rather not wake up to soaked sheets tomorrow. Besides, if everything goes well then you only have to deal with this for one night. Okay?” She then placed both colts under the covers and tucked them in. She had a colt in each of her hooves as they both felt the warmth come from her.

Shining was overwhelmed and snuggled dep into his wife’s fur while Sunburst did the same and soon all three were fast asleep.
